Salad was good and special, quite Italian. There are several choice of Italian sausage, I like parma ham so much!! But they don't serve honeymelon? Is that so bad to have parma ham without melon?

mushoom soup was very good.

They serve baby lobster too. Very fresh, worth to spare more quota for that.

Main course are generally fair. There are about 6 dishes to choose from. We ordered linguini, risoto, fish and beef steak. They were good, not "wow".

I tried strawberry panna cotta, that was really good!!! so smooth and rich, but not too sweet!! I rarely like strawberry stuff but this is really good! ( but really very stuffed after this desert)

This restaurant offers great view of HK island, and nice food for lunch. The first course is a buffet, there is so much food that fills us up 70% already! I had lamb chops as main course and it was perfect - thickly sliced and nicely cooked. I didn\'t have appetite for dessert after so much food but I ordered a tiramisu and it came in a coffee mug which tasted very nice too. Coffee and tea are included. I would recommend this restaurant and come back again.

We had a nice dinner there for our 2nd year wedding anniversary. It was last year btw. The starters were lovely but we thought that the main course was not what we expected. It was a seabass dish. Not outstanding and definitely overpriced.But overall, we enjoyed the dinner.

At the entrance, we're greeted by a woman with an expressionless mask-like face; then led to a very small table [for four]. Moreover, the table arrangements are way too over-packed [for a five stars hotel] . . . one could practically touch the shoulder of the guest hehind you!

Waiters and waitresses were not properly trained to attend to enquiries. Many a time, we have to ask for somebody more senior; and as a result, responded to by unhappy faces and sceptical expressions and answers. Throughout the cousre of our evening dining, umpteen [rather serious and lousy] mistakes were made. I don't think I have time to list them all. We just laughed them off because we know we'll never go back again!!!!!

I had a lunch on this restuarant on yesterday. The decoration is quite new & clean. Also, hv a large side window facing the sea. The feel is so good but maybe lunch time, a little noisy of other people. Regarding the food, I choose lunch set (choose soup + main course +dessert). 今年真係15/16心大心細,未到最終還在選擇,到最後決定o黎間,因為恆生卡有85折。先上三款麵包,有幾條長長的芝士意大利脆棒,外脆內軟,有微香芝士味。Ciabatta意大利麵包-熱辣辣,非常非常軟鬆,要來點香草橄欖油十分一梳。還有又香又脆的蕃茄香草多士。老公叫了一小杯香檳配巴馬火腿哈蜜瓜-Parma Ham顏色是淺紅,味道較淡,好像欠缺風乾的風味;而哈蜜瓜味道太甜及太熟,蓋過了火腿味道。小龍蝦蘆荀意大利飯- 芝士味唔太濃,但有濃濃的龍蝦香;Risotto軟硬程度恰好,而且有粒粒的蘆荀,並吸收晒了龍蝦汁精華,非常有嚼口。老公再叫了一小枝紅酒配考羊架,要了Medium rare,雖然幾厚身,肉質一點也不韌,而且肉味鮮嫩、肉汁又非常豐富。正當我叫甜品之際,一班OR同學手握鮮花、禮物、蛋糕,真係驚喜、感動得難以用筆墨來形容。再一次多謝大家!

今年真係15/16心大心細,未到最終還在選擇,到最後決定o黎間,因為恆生卡有85折。
先上三款麵包,有幾條長長的芝士意大利脆棒,外脆內軟,有微香芝士味。

我細佬要左個Pizza with Air Dried Beef 做頭盤。我們問侍應是否thin crust 的﹐她就說一般是﹐不過pizza 皮是即叫即做﹐我們想要點都可以﹐真係好flexible 喎﹗呢種服務態度我鐘意﹗個pizza 既皮夠薄夠脆﹐不過就唔多覺得有air dried beef 既味道喎﹖﹗

父親大人就比較傳統﹐要了一個set dinner。4-course 才$480﹐好抵喎﹗而且雖然是set dinner 但卻一點都不欺場。那個海鮮墨魚汁麵最出色﹐那些Fettuccine (我
看似Spaghetti 多d﹐不過好食就得啦﹗) 煮得剛剛好﹐非常彈牙﹗而且海鮮好鮮甜﹐通常唔太鐘意o係意粉落mussels 的我都覺得d mussels 好好食﹐搶食o左幾隻﹗

再說﹐之前見到呢度d comments 話service 唔掂﹐都有想過好唔好去呢間餐廳。不過昨晚既service 又幾細心喎﹗我們book 檯時沒有聲明要窗口位﹐只是說4 個人﹐
會用匯豐銀行白金卡優惠﹐去到居然是窗口﹐好開心呀﹗另外他們給我們的olive oil 及balsamic vinegar 都好香﹐尤其是balsamic vinegar 好“杰”﹐似乎都aged 左頗長的一段時間﹐係靚o野﹐讚﹗

吃完甜品我們請侍應拿媽媽的生日蛋糕出來啦﹐怎知除了我們order 了的2 磅tiramisu 外還有一個粉紅色的fairy floss dome﹐媽媽已經很高興﹐因為很久沒有吃過fairy floss 了嘛﹗怎知原來fairy floss 底下還有一塊brownie﹐驚喜真是一浪接一浪。很有thought﹗﹗

總括來說﹐呢餐唔可以算係我食過最好的意大利餐﹐不過係香港來說都可以算是中上喇﹗

P.S. House Wine 是用澳洲Hardy﹐紅酒是Cabernet Shiraz﹐白酒是Chardonnay Semillon﹐才$270 一瓶﹐價錢合理﹗

15/1(日) 12:30nn-3pmgroup project 由我決定揀左呢間餐廳,原因系價錢中等,位於shangri-la裏面既意式fine dining餐廳,估計都吾會差得去邊.一行6人book左12:30nn,我地準時到達,佢同cafe kool同一層,但佢自成一角.環境方面頗cozy,播放著traditional italian music.星期日客人多系family gathering.未點菜先黎grissini同暖暖的ciabetta,點pesto吾錯!反而牛油吾夠香!我地叫左3個set lunch$210/2 courses,$250/3 courses,(試晒set lunch內既菜色)另加左一個pizza vegetariana $148.overall味道都可以,但portion系法式portion!味道較特出及特別既菜色有:red wine n richicco risotto以及roast of dat day(羊架),連我吾食羊都吾覺羶!甜品方面tiramisu相當出色!home-made雪糕我地揀左tiramisu同開心果味,亦是水準之作!咖啡香濃不澀,

The Italian food is ok. My friend like the duck breast. Scallop is good too.The desserts are excellent esp the recommended.But not as good as its predecessor, MargauxStill remember the hot bread & liver of Margaux

We went to this restaurant 2 days ago after reading attractive columns on magazines. Tables are pretty crowded so the place is quite noisy. When we ordered, one of the young waitresses knew almost nothing about their dishes and couldn't explain how the food is cooked, what's in a dish, etc. to us. When we ordered, one of the young waitresses knew almost nothing about their dishes and couldn't explain how the food is cooked, what's in a dish, etc. to us. She just repeated the one-line description of the dishes to us. When we told her we wanted to share the pasta (as we're going to have a second main course), she said their pasta is much smaller than those of Spagetti House!! When we tried to talk to the Chinese manager he just asked another guy to take our order and didn't even bother talking to us! The 3 young female waitresses there are really incompetant to work in such a restaurant and the Chinese manager keep telling jokes with them while at work! The Italian manager and chef only talked to gweilos and ignored all Chinese customers! Everything is self-help (ie have to ask them for olive oil and vinegar for bread) and they just put them on the table, like at Spagetti House or Pizza Hut! Food is not worth their price. We ordered a baked sea bass (over $300) as main course but it's not worth it at all! The other 'signature dish' duck breast is even worse! Over $250 for this dish but the quality is the same as other places at a much cheaper price! All in all, service is really poor here and the food is not worth the price at all. We paid $1500 for 2 (already with 20% off with HSBC card) but what we got was like from a local western style restaurant at $500 for 2! I definitely won't go there again. Think twice if you want to try out this place!
