換上總廚的Angelini又令我找到再光臨的理由, 新總廚Andrea Burzio來自意大利北面的都靈市, 但他主理的菜式很有南意風情, 例如是在Brunch吃到旳煎吞拿魚, 配上蕃茄乾和甘筍醬, 甜酸中和了豐溢的魚油, 赤身沒有太多根節, 煎出來口感甚似牛肉, 相當不錯. Ravioli又是令一個驚喜, 內裡不是豬肉以及芝士, 而是鱈魚蓉, 一口咬下去魚湯滲出, 再加上由於西蘭花打成的醬, 味道比傳統的更為清新, 難怪女朋友也覺得很”WOW”! 有點要改善的, 也許是Brunch之中的頭髮盤Semi Buffet, 火腿的質素比之前有點下降了! (笑)

等玉仔也抵達後,三母女就接個人心水選點主菜:很喜歡自家製意大利雲吞配豬肋肉、椰菜及柑橘汁,一口一個甚有口感,好吃!自家製意大利寬扁麵配紅酒燴牛膝味道也不錯,最後一款魔鬼魚伴忌廉粟米蓉及小粟米口味就比較新奇,因為印象中的魔鬼魚都是香燒的!

另外午餐的 Torta mimosa 意式合金歡花蛋糕配雲尼拿及檸檬吉士醬、Angelini 意大利芝士餅、Gelati e sorbetti 是日精選雪糕(當日為特濃朱古力及開心果,兩款都超好吃!)等甜品也上檯,加上自選咖啡/茶及 Petit Fours(沒拍了...),滿足飽足不得了。多想每年都繼續這樣慶祝,可能嗎?

Besides a better value, I have to say the service here was better than lobster bar(I am comparing these two as I only tried it two days apart and they both are under Shangrila) . It was less rushed despite actually being more busy than lobster bar. Definitely will come back again.

說到我和女朋友最常用去吃Weekend Brunch的食肆, 非位於九龍Shangri-La的Angelini莫屬,原因除了是因為我和她也喜歡意大利菜外, 物超所值的價錢也是一個主要原因.Weekend Brunch以Semi-Buffet模式提供, 頭盤的選擇並不太多, 但有不少做得比正餐Starter更好, 特別是炒菇, 大蝦及Mozzarella芝士, 尤其以後者最為可喜, 質感不會太水汪汪, 水牛奶的香味舒服而不會太過濃烈.主菜之中以龍蝦Linguine最為吸引, 這菜式很自然和另一間意菜名店Sabatini的Seafood Linguine比較. Linguine的彈牙和掛湯度兩者不分勝負. 味道上前者龍蝦湯味道滲入麵條, 以咸鮮的香為主調; 後者用上其他海鮮, 味道咸鮮之中也帶有比較重的蕃茄酸性. 說回這裡的安排, 我喜歡廚師將所有龍蝦肉和殻分離, Luxurious之中在吃的時候也不會雞手鴨腳就是.

因為友人係香格里拉既會員,所以今次試下入面餐廳既質素(聽聞甜品係特別出名),順便可以儲酒店積分餐廳環境:環境非常優雅,近窗位亦睇到維港夜景,配得起係五星級酒店既名譽服務質素:餐廳服務員主要係外籍,以英文為主,服務態度非常好,會細心介紹每個course ,亦會預先詢問是否有食物敏感。食物:正宗Fine Dining, 每個course 份量唔多,但勝在夠精緻,食得出係廚師用心烹調。最出色係甜品,如果係名符其實整體而言出色,係會再回頭既餐廳

I thought the restaurant only serves brunch menu at $408 on weekends, it’s happy knowing that they also serve $328 set lunch on Saturday, both are with same main dishes.We pick the semi buffet and both of us chose fish as main course. Their cold cuts and appetisers like ham, clams, prawns, and various vegetables are very fresh and not over marinated. My sea bass was nicely packed in a cooking paper like a gift box, the tomato sauce perfectly matched the fish. We also love the dessert bar a lot,

We pick the semi buffet and both of us chose fish as main course. Their cold cuts and appetisers like ham, clams, prawns, and various vegetables are very fresh and not over marinated. My sea bass was nicely packed in a cooking paper like a gift box, the tomato sauce perfectly matched the fish. We also love the dessert bar a lot, cakes and mousse cups were much better than what we had in lobby lounge at the same hotel.
