薄脆焗得很鬆化 又帶很香的曲奇味 很不錯
而乳酪本身的質感較軟身 比較易溶
入口奶味亦很濃很順滑
不過我個人就喜歡酸一點的口味呢
配料方面 除了面頭的薄脆和優美的黑白朱古力外
內裡還有朱古力糖 榛子醬 榛子朱古力粒等
這些配料不是鋪在乳酪上
而藏身於乳酪裡 吃的時侯有點像尋寶呢

由於乳酪溶得比較快
吃的時侯有點像跟時間競賽一樣


吃到一半的時侯 謎底終於解開
究竟為什麼乳酪能浮在杯中呢

原來店方用了一塊白朱古力來承托
這個方法挺有創意啊


總括來說 朱古力的味道的確比外間吃得講究
但乳酪溶得太快 酸度又不太合我心水
而且以半杯的份量來說 價錢不太值呢

There are lots of variety of cakes, crepe, frozen yogurt and also gelato.

We choose the red wine braised pear cream cheese cake and also a chocolate brownie with cinnamon blueberry crepe.

The cake was a disappointment. No red wine taste to the pear. But the crepe was wonderful. There wasn't cinnamon for the blueberry. But the texture of the whole crepe was very nice. They also have I think a crunchy Caramel in the crepe to make it extra nice

I will definitely go again and try all their other desserts.

總括來說,這裡的甜品相當出色,也很悅目,店員雖然友善,卻錯漏百出,也慢手慢腳,明明只要從櫃出端出來即成的蛋糕,卻等了半小時還不給我們上,店外站了一堆人,多少也因為店內客人還沒吃到自己點的甜品…而且還很會把甜品端錯桌子,客人都吃到一半才跑過來說端錯了…

最後的一杯凍抹茶鮮奶,很貼心的沒有加糖,讓客人自己控制甜度。
在還未加糖前嚐了一口,帶有濃濃的抹茶香,和一點點應有的澀味。
入口的感覺很順滑,喜愛抹茶的朋友應該大愛。
奈何J先生不太接受那種澀味,加了很多糖…變成Not my cup of tea了。

撇除價錢有點高之外,其實三款出品都有水準,特別是那客Froyo,相信會有再訪的機會。

If there is one thing that I am sure of since my previous visit to black n white, it is that black n white is a hit in Hong Kong. This unassuming dessert cafe in Tai Kok Tsui, helmed by celebrity chef Jeffrey Koo, is constantly churning out new products to lure us back for more.

With the Christmas products sold out, Chef Koo now introduces something to help us keep warm in the cold weather - muffins!

These buttery delights, which can practically be eaten at all times during the day, come in 5 flavours and are sold at $20 each. If you are feeling adventurous (and/or hungry), you can order the muffin set at $88 and devour all 5 flavours!

上次到black n white 試了多款精緻又美味的朱古力蛋糕及甜品,現在又有新系列! 我這次吃了鬆脆暖胃的鬆餅,很喜歡熱烘烘的黑朱古力軟心鬆餅,每一口都充滿香濃的朱古力味,十分滋味。還有香甜幼滑的焦糖杏仁雲呢嗱忌廉泡芙,和裝滿杏仁或榛子朱古力的手製的朱古力賀年禮盒,感覺非常甜蜜!

(1) I'll start with the lightest muffin, the Lemongrass muffin. The touch of lemongrass was utterly refreshing, and the citric taste cut through the butteriness and made for a delightfully fruity muffin. Next, the Raspberry Rosemary Muffin. I really liked the distinctive herbal taste of rosemary, and its fragrance lingered in the mouth. I understand that rosemary may not be everyone's cup of tea, but do give it a try if you can - I don't think I have seen this flavour anywhere else in Hong Kong! Thirdly, the Blueberry Cinnamon Muffin. This classic muffin is always satisfying, and the blueberries gave the muffin an extra layer of soft, mushy texture. The cinnamon taste was very mild, so don't worry if you're not a fan of cinnamon. Fourthly, the Salted Caramel Muffin - I simply adore salted caramel...Underneath the crust was a soft, tender muffin with a salted caramel filling. The filling was not completely melted yet, but the alluring sweetness of the caramel made up for it. Lastly, the 72% Dark Chocolate Muffin. Look at that gorgeous mud black colour - the chocolate muffin was very chocolatey from top to bottom. A thin layer of melted dark chocolate is coated over a hot, moist muffin. The chocolate filling oozed out as we cut the muffin open and it was a very happy moment!

(3) If you order a cup of Sinking Island ($38), you can add $10 to get a muffin. This chocolate drink comes in 3 flavours: white chocolate, milk chocolate and dark chocolate (72%). Having tried dark chocolate last time, I decided to go for the white chocolate drink. The drink was sweet and decadent, and its creamy consistency was broken up by some ground cocoa bean sprinkled at the top. Instead of a sinking tropical island, the pure colours of this drink reminded me of a snow mountain!

(4) black n white has also introduced cream puffs which come in two flavours. The first one I tried was the caramel and almond vanilla cream puff ($38). The puff itself was light and airy, and it had a beautiful, crumbly crust which I adored. The cream filling was fine and smooth, and a piece of buttery almond cookie sat at the base of this lovely dessert.

(5) More playful was the black olive and chocolate cream puff ($38). You can trust black n white to make chocolate-flavoured desserts, but the addition of black olives in a cream puff was rather unexpected! It tasted surprisingly pleasant, and in fact, the taste of black olive could have been even stronger for a more shocking effect.

There is a Golden Chocolate Hazelnut flavour, and a Sparkling Chocolate Almond flavour. Both flavours were awesome, but I preferred hazelnut just because I personally always find hazelnut a fantastic match with chocolates.

下單後等了5分鐘左右,甜品到了~擺放得精緻,令我更期待會有驚喜~
基於味道的差異,先試夏日的玫瑰......一入口,真是不可思議....?_?
很奇怪其他食評說的「陣陣花香」.....花香倒有一丁點,不過很快已被其他味道蓋過,玫瑰不可思議地消失.....
夾層的海棉蛋糕塗上草莓醬,無疑可以增加味道的層次,可措我個人認為此為破壞整體味道的元兇之一,而且蛋糕的雲尼拿味太重,與草莓的味道各自爭持.........可謂一個謎。海棉蛋糕亦較粗糙....頂層的mousse 也稍欠濕潤 (存放時間問題??)....mousse帶有一點忌廉芝士味道...真奇怪,一件餅有那麼多的味道卻又不協調..........與夏日盛放的意境有很大距離...只能稱為凋謝的玫瑰
另外,餅上的朱古力及蛋白餅的裝飾,味道與餅身格格不入。幸吃的時候沒有先吃裝飾,否則更擾亂味道

單純這一件餅,令我極為失望。作為甜品師,理應了解味道的配搭,充份發揮食材的味道...我本十分欣賞以玫瑰作主題,非常冒險。可惜,味道的處理實在令人失望。
外觀仍算合格,但裝飾設計上有改善地方,即使朱古力為主,這件餅要加入朱古力很容易破壞味道,喧賓奪主。反撲歸真,一片玫瑰花瓣,或者簡單的糖塑。甚至花點心思,自家調理玫瑰花醬、玫瑰花糖...........希望有關的甜品師,可以重新考慮這一件餅的主題,還有味道的協調

至於榛子朱古力,個人認為不過不失~頂層的榛子mousse, 入口好像某牌子的朱古力!這裡的像放大版。底部的朱古力十分香濃,一人吃的話就稍為膩,二人分享就剛剛好~質感上尚算合格,再滑一點、入口即溶會更驚喜

總結來講,以$78價錢享用兩件餅.......嚐甜的朋友可以一試。
若問我會否再光顧?要再考慮吧...畢竟,相同價位選擇很多......................

內裡唔止mousse ,仲有少少chocolate cake 配合,而Raspberry 既酸味加chocolate mousse既甜味,岩岩好,唔會覺得好滯。

PS 去之前,冇睇過其他食評,只係聽朋友同事介紹就去,以為好貴,但其實都唔算,值得一去再去~~哈哈

點選了創作甜品~紅莓朱古力慕絲!

早肥先生則選了法式薄餅,Crepes有多種配料可供選擇,
如:紅莓香蘋、焦糖香蕉、玉桂藍莓、經典朱支力糖漿、蜜糖草莓等...
但不想兩份甜品都是朱古力味,
所以選了較清新的玉桂藍莓,中和舌頭!





兩位主角終於出場,先品嚐《玉桂藍莓法式薄餅》
薄餅烹製時間掌握得很好,
當中的忌廉不太膩口,不會過甜!啖啖都是清新味道!
若份量再大些會更好!





《紅莓朱古力慕絲》
非常像藝術品,單看面層的精緻通花半圓朱古力,
已感到店方對甜品的尊重!

味道香濃的朱古力,配合酸酸甜甜的紅莓,
絕對是天衣無縫的組合!
一酸、一濃、一澀,整體味道不會太膩,開胃至極!

Co-owner Chef Jeffrey Koo is somewhat of a local celebrity, and boasts an impressive profile: he has worked in the Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop for 13 years, has won a range of awards along his career path, and has spent time training with Pierre Gagnaire in France, before opening this cafe in December 2011. Many Hong Kongers would recognise him as the host of the TVB series “Sweet Corner” (“甜心先生“), in which he taught celebrities how to prepare a selection of chocolates and desserts.

(1) Jeffrey insists on using the finest Venezuelan chocolates in his desserts, as these exquisite chocolates give a sensuous, delicious aftertaste. I started with this Grand Marnier Chocolate Opera Cake ($45), and at first bite I already knew that this cake was reason enough for me to come back to the cafe. This set below was a Grand Marnier Opera Dessert Set ($68), and it came with a small cup of icy Grand Marnier granita which you could sip while enjoying the decadent opera cake.

Jeffrey likes to use a lot of sponge cake in his desserts, which means you can eat more than one piece of cake without being overly full! Layered with orange zest butter cream, Grand Marnier chocolate ganache, blood orange jelly, vanilla sponge and chocolate sponge, the opera cake was, quite literally, intoxicatingly delicious…and if you are a coffee addict like I am, they also have a Rum and Coffee Opera Cake available.

(2) This N-I (Vanilla Napoleon) ($38) is another signature dessert at black n white. A layer of caramelized puff pastry helped break up the soft textures of crème Chantilly, vanilla custard and chocolate sponge, and the dessert held together to give a marvellous variety of flavours and textures.

(3) I am very attracted to anything salted caramel-flavoured, and this Salted Caramel Mousse Crumble ($40) was an absolute winner for me! An ornate white chocolate dome sat on top of some creamy Himalayan Pink Salted Caramel Mousse. A touch of saltiness penetrated the sweetness of this dessert, while its texture was enhanced by the crunch of coffee and almond crumble. If you love salted caramel desserts, then this is just a dessert made in heaven!

(4) This beautiful Cassis Marshmallow ($40) had a mélange of magnificent textures – the softness of marshmallows, the crunchiness of meringue, the smoothness of cassis mousse and the silkiness of white chocolate mousse. The cassis (blackcurrant) gave natural sweetness to the dessert, and the meringues and marshmallows were both delicious and comforting at the same time!

He playfully created a Chinese almond (南北杏) gelato (left) – you know, the Chinese almonds that are used to make soup – and it tasted fresh and bright, with a perceptible almond flavour. Jeffrey only uses fresh ingredients in his gelato, and the resulting flavours are amazing! Besides the Chinese almonds gelato, I also tried the caramel gelato (middle), which had cocoa bean bits in it, giving it more of a bite. The passion fruit sorbet (right), which was mixed with some white chocolate, milk chocolate and dark chocolate bits, was light and refreshing. Lastly, that piece of almond cookie is worth a mention. Fantastically buttery and crunchy with a strong almond taste, you could use it to scoop your ice cream instead of using a metal spoon!

This was definitely a cup of hot chocolate that had a lot going on! The delicate, artistic chocolate dome was specially handmade, and you are supposed to put the chocolate dome on top of the hot, freshly made chocolate drink and watch it slowly sink into the “ocean” (you should have guessed by now why this drink is called “Sinking Island“!) I went for the milk chocolate flavour, which was rather sweet, so if you prefer something which is less sweet you should go for dark chocolate!

(8) My dessert stomach seemed to have an unlimited capacity, so as a final treat, I tried black n white‘s house made Matcha Latte (Hot/ Cold, $32). I can never get enough of green tea lattes, so I was really happy that the Matcha Latte at black n white was so yummy, with the combination of aromatic green tea and hot, frothy milk giving an attractive, soothing taste.

時間尚早, 接近晚上九時還未需要等位, 終於可以初嚐聞名已欠的甜品天堂餐廰設計簡單, 黑白為主, 有不少可供購買的物品如hamper等在一邊counter, 另一邊牆身全是枱櫈, 很分明, 店主情願display多一點店舖的特色產品, 都不需擺放兩邊都滿是座位, 真型! 走入一點, 才看見三個display cooler, 一個是gelato, 一個是macarron等, 一個是小餅, 全都非常精緻, 令人目不暇給, 款款都想試呢! 回到座位, 細心看看餐牌, 終於選了幾款甜點及飲品, 之後到cashier落order及即時付款第一口很深刻, 很分明的一些朱古力味, 然後便跟著一股香的咖啡味, 很令人記著的感覺, 都是第一次喝過最深刻印象的mocha!!!三款朱古力飲品可供選擇, 包括白朱古力, 牛奶朱古力, 及黑朱古力, 是次牛奶朱古力, 又香又滑, 朱古力味夠濃但少許澀, 很美味 然後再把另上的朱古力網放在這杯熱朱古力中, 慢慢下沉, 非常有趣, 再加一個小型攪蛋器作茶匙, 輕輕的將兩者混合攪勻, 然後微熱的整杯可一口接一口的喝, 溫度適中, 苦中帶甜, 一大享受!選了蕉糖香

選了蕉糖香焦crepes, 整體絕不會過甜, 很香的味道, 焦糖其實是脆片裹著內裡的焦, 外層的皮少許脆加上微熱, 放進口裡, 是很多口感很完美的味道呢! 很難形容呢

一大杯yogurt其實是凌空的, 由一塊絕不令人感覺會很甜的白朱古力盛著, 很特別, 其實底部空心的位置是很多hazelnut碎, 當然yogurt上及裡面都有很多, 這一讚的是, yogurt味道不會太酸, 而且很香, 真要一試, 再加上一粒粒一塊塊的nut, 香口非常, 分開吃或夾雜一起吃都各有風味, 讚!

服務良好, 職員有禮醒目, 是晚是一個大滿足!
