Though they were less oily, the meat fillings were mediocre and they were less authentic as compared with those supplied in other traditional Shanghai restaurants such as Wu Kong Shanghai Restaurant. Price wise, it was not considered competitive though you would have discount on selected dishes if you made advanced booking.

今日要去太古城探老朋友,順道共聚晚飯。友人情有獨鍾上海菜,得知王家沙花樣年華進駐了太古城有一段時間,我又欣賞這間菜館的水準,於是乎去了。麻辣牛𦟌少少辣,惹味開胃的前菜。京蔥爆牛肉火喉到家,惹味十足。牛肉軟腍夠入味。用薄餅包裹著,味道變得溫和,可多吃兩件。薑汁炒芥蘭時令芥蘭,翠綠鮮嫩兼爽口。咸味粢飲包裝精美,衞生。咸菜和油條份量適中,整體有黏黏的口感,好味。高力豆沙甜品我一定揀高力豆沙,十年不變。蛋白的外層夠鬆軟,餡料豆沙不膩喉,滋味!
