上班前特地去找朋友食Cedele早餐,堂食客人不多一半外國人,環境靜靜的。半自助形式點餐,在雪櫃內選了半份rosemary烤雞肉三文治。很多餡料但麥包都爛掉了,應該是隔夜乾身麵包。沙拉醬過多rosemary偏甜,但因為全部都散開碎碎的很難控制,一咬就全部掉出來。至於重點的咖啡,店員只用30秒不夠就完成自取回坐。(認真沒有30秒,因為才付錢,咖啡就到)味道不太濃,而且份量比較少。

Coffee 就一般,不要抱太大期望。
個Burger就有驚喜,份量跟足外國。Slide 包薯條同沙律。
Burger: 好多汁,個菇好正。個包加咗香草,好有心

With some trepidation, I ordered the chicken arrabiata with whole wheat spaghetti. For all the sauces, you get to pick your pasta, which is nice. I liked the whole wheat spaghetti and it was perfectly al dente. The sauce was ever-so-mildly spicy and there were plenty of mushrooms, but not much else in the way of vegetables. The chicken seemed a little out of place-- it had a crispy sweet glaze on the outside. In addition, it was a really fatty chicken thigh. Everything about the chicken screamed "you are in Hong Kong and don't you forget it!" Decent: C+/B-

My wife ordered the chicken sandwich. Now here's where context comes along. The chicken on her sandwich was the same that I got in my pasta. And she really liked it. Thinking about it, I can see how the crispy sweet glazed chicken would make a good sandwich, while being a little too Asian-y for chicken arrabiata. In her opinion, everything came together really nicely ("it had a slightly sweet bunt, but it really worked") and she gives it an A-.

I would say the food here is good. Other than the questionable choice of chicken for the pasta, there weren't really any missteps. It's a more Westernized, higher-quality Asian pasta and sandwich joint. I would definitely go back, and to tell you the truth I probably will.

個漢堡SIZE不算很大,但呢舊PORTOBELLO MUSHROOM勁爆汁,菇味濃,十分美味,配上調味較重既漢堡扒,剛好令無咩牛味既肉增加味道,加上蕃茄,萵苣,原粒芥末和沙律醬,味道很BALANCED,亦不會很乾,當然少不了一堆甜甜地既洋蔥

而薯條本身無咩咸味,但充滿松露香,可能下的是松露油,粗條薯條十分飽滿,但建議下點鹽

沙律菜經油醋汁均勻地撈過,酸味不嗆喉,菜十分爽口,而且菜既份量不少,減低食漢堡包既罪惡感

I have written about this place before so I won't comment on the environment and hygiene again. 

Service:
For some reason, the servers were nice at first, but eventually act annoyed towards us in the end. We were there for about 2 hours, but they weren't busy and we were not demanding, so I don't know what the problem was. 

Taste & Value:
3 of us each got a tea set that came with a slice of cake and coffee/tea ($55). 
1. Chocolate Hazelnut Cake (+$10) This was their Easter's Special, so it cost $10 more. 
   The texture was moist and the chocolate was rich. My only complaint is that the ferrero on top kinda lost its crunch. Other than that, I think this was the best cake of the 3.

2. Pandan Cream Cake We were told that the pandan pistachio cake was not available so our only pandan choice was this. The cake was quite light. The cream cheese icing was quite rich, and I couldn't really taste the pandan. I only started to taste it when I ate the brown paste in the centre.

4. Roselle Tea I saw that this tea is supposed to be good for our digestive system so I chose it. 
 I find that these teas always smell better than they taste. It was a bit acidic, but had not much taste. My friends got a tea and a cappuccino. My friend liked her cappuccino so much that she ha 2 cups.

For pastas, you can choose whole wheat spaghetti, penne, linguine or others. I like that they let you choose.
5. Black Crab Linguine ($130?) I chose this pasta because it had softshell crab. 
 The softshell crab was quite small, and the whole dish was quite salty in general, but it was not bad tasting.

6. Chicken Arrabiata (Penne) ($120?) This tomato based pasta was surprisingly tasty. 
 The sauce was just right in taste, and the chicken was well seasoned. I like that the chicken was pan fried before throwing into the pasta.

7. Banana Pancakes ($90?) My friend ordered this, but I didn't try it as I was overloaded with sugar after finishing the cake. The pancakes looked interesting, as there were huge chunks of bananas in the batter; more bananas than batter.

位於上環港鐵站毗鄰的無限極廣場,進駐了一家來自新加坡的餅店Cedele。這連鎖店品牌由一對新加坡姊妹創辦,憑自家製糕餅打響名堂。Cedele主張健康飲食,用天然食材,叫人食得放心。店前有一列餅櫃,放滿各款蛋糕麵包,每天新鮮即做,用來烘焙的麵粉、斑蘭葉及合桃等,都是來自新加坡。餐廳分 Common table、一般餐桌及吧位,配以室內的綠色植物,很愜意。餐牌包攬小食、扒類及意粉等,香港獨有菜式包括 Grilled lamb、Scallop and poached egg pasta。半份牛肉三文治 ($25): 好足料,牛肉醃得好味。待應還主動幫我烤熱。Pandan Cake 斑蘭蛋糕 ($40一片)Cedele的斑蘭海綿蛋糕,外觀十分討好,斑蘭香撲鼻。面層塗上斑蘭味忌廉,中間夾一層咖央醬,側面則撲上薄薄的椰絲,充滿東南亞風味。蛋糕餅底夠濕潤,鬆軟而且充滿彈性。忌廉醬夠香滑,味道濃郁,帶少許鹹味。比起新加坡著名的斑蘭蛋糕,這個更具風味,簡直令我著迷。

Cedele的斑蘭海綿蛋糕,外觀十分討好,斑蘭香撲鼻。面層塗上斑蘭味忌廉,中間夾一層咖央醬,側面則撲上薄薄的椰絲,充滿東南亞風味。蛋糕餅底夠濕潤,鬆軟而且充滿彈性。忌廉醬夠香滑,味道濃郁,帶少許鹹味。

Well, the rosemary chicken sandwiches were fine, with mayo and cranberry sauce plus tomatos and lettuce.  Very traditional combination that could not go wrong.  For the apple guava soup, it was to my surprise that it was reddish in color, and after having my first sip of the soup, I realized it has beetroot in it, which was not my favourite kind of veg as it has a raw taste to it.  However, I have no choice but to finish it, and after a few more spoonful, it actually did not taste that bad.  However, I could not really taste the apple or guava in the soup.

All in all, for $45, I think this is ok in Sheung Wan/Central area, if you are looking for a light snack.

Had a great chicken burger there, not a pattie but cooked slices of breast with a great bun.The juices were great too, we had an ABG and an ABC (I can't remember what's in them...)Pasta was cooked well, but too much sauce, I prefer some high quality olive oil and herbs.. but I won't hold that against them.Very nice service too, will be back!!

慕名去Cedele,趕住六點前去到一心諗住食蛋糕tea set,點知二人蛋糕拼盤已售罄,唯有叫一件蛋糕然後等食晚餐。話明新加坡餐廳梗係叫斑蘭蛋糕啦,估唔到咁搶手,隔離抬遲少少到過咗下午茶時間已經賣晒!係咪開業初期未掌握到需求呢... 蛋糕有淡淡斑蘭味但被甜中帶酸味嘅忌廉淹蓋,感覺不及朋友從新加坡帶回來的斑蘭蛋糕手信。食完蛋糕先食晚餐,既然呢度主打麵包同蛋糕,預咗不務正業嘅晚餐未必好食,結果... 簡直係差!漢堡包嘅包烘燶咗,漢堡扒煎燶咗;羊扒叫八成熟,唔代表要又乾又燶㗎!極失望下離開,懶得去第二度就求其喺度買個包第二日做早餐。估唔到個雜錦乾果包攤咗一日都幾好食,麵包鬆軟乾果份量適中又不太甜。與其求其整啲主菜,不如專心賣麵包同蛋糕啦,就算唔係超好食,起碼有特色嘛!
