This time was to celebrate my son’s birthday as he loves butter chicken. Last time we ordered from the la carte menu so this time we went for the tasting menu at $998 per head.


First of all the service is top class and what you would expect for a restaurant located within a five star hotel.


All dishes were of a high ingredients, cooked perfectly and beautifully presented. There were absolutely no complaints and special mention must be made of the following:


• Tandoori Wagyu Beef Cheek, the meat was so tender and juicy and the charred crust on the outside gave it such a crispy texture and the taste bud sensation was out of this world.


• Old Delhi Butter Chicken & Garlic Naan - To our surprise we found out that the butter chicken and garlic naan were all you can eat! Wow these are our favourite indian dishes and at a Michelin star restaurant, what a deal! The Old Delhi Butter Chicken was creamy and buttery and similar to how it is made in NZ my home town. The chicken pieces are tender and juicy. The Garlic Naan was puffy and soft with a nice garlic flavour. We refilled the butter chicken and naan 3 times!


We had a great time here, and are looking forward to coming back. The price is worth it.

純以食物來說,味道和擺盤是對得住米之蓮一星。由於當日有最低消費,而我哋又唔想一人叫一份tasting menus,所以散叫,如果只叫食物,又好難超過低消,唯有叫酒,我只能說好貴,一個紅酒杯只估計只係倒咗五分之一😌。令到我已經唔想叫第二杯。服務態度真係好,好到有點煩,當日我哋book左晚上6:15,有點早所以想叫杯飲品先,係你未叫食物前,不停會有人行過嚟問係野,統計當應該行過嚟超過20次🙆🏻‍♀️。最後要講的就枱與枱係有足夠空間,裝修唔講得上靚(我個人認為),但真係好生意,基本上係無空枱,所以會比較嘈。

香料味及奶味都取得平衡,不濃烈更易於入口,口腔散發着拉茶獨有的香氣🥹,好amazing好好飲!!值得一提的是店員會席前表演,做法跟絲襪奶茶有幾分相似,撞入空氣也令到茶的口感更為絲滑,是唯一一杯我覺得好味的拉茶🙂‍↕️。

另外服務真心好好,由帶位以至上菜每一個細節都好貼心,加上店員的詳細介紹,就算不了解印度菜也能輕鬆點餐,大家面上都笑容可掬,令人有更深刻印象。個人覺得米芝蓮一星絕對實至名歸,一定會再訪。

The flavors and aroma of the oyster blast through the Pani Puri when we had it in one bite.At the same time, the sweet potato is also a really lovely dish. Lobster Champagne Curry was creamy with tonnes of lobster inside. The lobster was springy and the curry was aromatic without being too strong. Despite I loved their unique cheese/chili naan, I think I would recommend plain naan instead to fully appreciate the flavors of the curry.

For desserts, we ordered the Kulfi and Khubani Ka Meetha. Both desserts had a well controlled sweetness and I loved how they are able to preservemost of the traditional parts of the dessert (eg. the vermicelli for the Kulfi) while elevating it to such aesthetically pleasing masterpiece.

Starter - Baked Samosa
I was absolutely stunned by the jackfruit meat, like how meaty it was. The best vegan meat I have ever had which tasted like braised beef. The meat was completely soaked into the flavourful sauce. Love that✨
Mains - Tandoori Wagyu Cheek
Tandoori is an Indian cooking style which meat is cooked in a clay oven 🔥 so I like how these wagyu cheek tastes so much more tender than charcoal grilled ones. It tastes perfect with the Indian spices 🌶️
Mains - Old Delhi Butter Chicken 🧈🐔
THE CLASSICS 🥘 it’s a must try in every Indian restaurant! The waiter told us about the origins of the butter chicken. It started since the wartime. A group of ppl went into a restaurant and the owner invented the butter chicken with only chicken and potatoes 🥔 it has now become the world famous dish😍
Dessert - Black Sesame Kulfi
It was my first time trying Indian ice cream and it tasted so goooood❤️ it was a lot more flavourful which is made with full fat milk and sugar🥛
