It was two weeks ago me and my husband went to Chez Patrick for my birthday. Not long after we sat down, the chef introduced the menu to us himself. I think it was kind of nice. As we were quite hungry we didn't even bother looking at the menu but ordered whatever he recommened. Both of us had Foie Gras and I have to say we totally agreed what KC said about the Foie Gras ice-cream and the dark chocolate sauce - only very interesting. For main course I had the Wagu beef while my husband had the sirlion steak with some stilton cheese on it. I enjoyed my beef very much as it was so juicy and tender. My husband loved the steak so much and he said he wil come back again for it!
Creme brulee was my dessert and came with a candle and a birthday greeting on it as my husband requested beforehand. I can't quite recall what he had for dessert but I can only remember that he did enjoy it.
Pricewise I think it was quite reasonable for the quality of food. Paid a bit more than we expected since we ordered a bottle of quite nice red.
