小食方面,點了生炸雲吞王($50)。一客六隻的雲吞金黃誘人,炸得外皮香脆,入口卜卜聲響,極其酥化。餡料是原隻蝦仁,爽口鮮美。至於是日油菜($28)可選菜心或生菜,小妹要了前者,果然細嫩無渣。吃過蔬菜,打風便不用跟別人爭崩頭了。

至於友人選嘅自家豬孖寶撈麵 ($65),食味亦不俗,幼麵配上三片扎肉,另外仲有一碗用湯浸住嘅豬肉丸。扎肉厚切成片,入面加咗豬耳同黑胡椒,食落爽滑彈牙,有咬口之餘仲多咗份辛香。手打豬肉丸亦很有質素,外形雖然唔算好大粒,但看起來脹卜卜,入口新鮮,鬆軟不死實,口感彈牙。

如果想口味豐富啲,可以試試店裡的調味料,淨係辣醬都已經有三種,包括沙爹醬、紅燈籠椒同黃燈籠椒,另外亦有自家製辣椒油,啱曬愛吃辣的朋友。

見店裡有唔少小食,一場來到,當然要試下。揀咗雜丸拼盤 ($68)、生炸雲吞 ($50)  同招牌滷水拼盤 ($75)。雜丸拼盤有炸牛丸、炸魚蛋、炸墨魚丸同炸豬肉丸,每樣兩粒,大大碟,一次過試勻咁多款,非常豐富。雲吞炸至色澤金黃,入口外皮夠薄,非常香口,外脆內多汁,蘸點酸甜醬吃,開胃惹味。滷水拼盤有豬手、豬大腸、豬腩肉同蘿蔔,豬手滷得香軟入味,外皮入口即溶,骨膠原豐富。

與朋友本來打算幫襯老字號魚蛋粉店,但估不到7:30來到已關門。我們於是轉戰這新派潮州粉麵店,夜市營業,真好!其實好幾個月前幫襯過其位於店沙咀的食店,估不到在食店林立的東大街原來也已占了一席位。我點了豬三鮮湯河,朋友點了魚三鮮湯河,勁搞笑,正正原來就是牆上poster所介紹的。粉麵本身送熱飲,但我們加三元點凍飲,凍奶茶、凍檸茶,味道合格。很欣賞以木盤上菜,精緻得很,很有點日式定食的感覺。豬三鮮有豬肉丸、豬腩肉和扎肉,應該是自家製的扎肉很彈牙,好味。湯的顏色較深,湯底濃,並不是「白開水」類湯底。朋友的魚三鮮的湯就看來比較清,但喝了一口,味道不錯,而且粉的份量不算少。我們並加了兩個小食:清湯蘿蔔和炸雲吞。蘿蔔入味,無筋。生炸雲吞王很好味!新鮮彈牙的蝦,好明顯是即叫即炸,炸得乾身不油膩。絕對是高水準之作,雖然$50六粒看似很貴,但絕對是一分錢一分貨,在其他地區的粥麵店也是這種價錢。要在東大街這區開新店絕不是易事,要衝出重圍,我覺得這個炸雲吞絕對要推介。
