Cornerstone is a casual all day dining bistro in the heart of Soho by @shaneosbornchef of @arcanehk & @netflix ’s “final table”. aprcane is one-starred michelin, and cornerstone also made it to @michelinguide ’s bib gourmand guide.

cornerstone has really exceeded my expectations. speaking of the décor first, it is modern and neat with fine lines, loved the grey-ish wooden tone. it’s surely a hideout for a perfectly tranquil getaway moment in the bustling central

the handful of ingredients in every dishes just worked so well tgt, yet highlights and gives spotlight to the main dish, really sophisticated finishing and platings, genuinely enjoyed the whole dining experience!

Resto by Chef Shane Osbone of Netflix’s “Final Table”👨🏻‍🍳 tried his another resto called Moxie as well and i actually found them kinda similar in cooking style🤣 carrot salad was surprisingly delicious that I would say it was my fav starter among the three🫢 mains were actually tasted as gd as i expected🤣 nice yet didnt give me any wow factor 🫣 the combo of ube and mango matched quite well with brittle added on top to give extra crunchiness

The nori cauliflower rice looked like mashed potato but just in green colour. Balanced well with yuzu beurre blanc and lemon zest, the octopus was very tender and I absolutely loved the charred edges. Side with mizuna to make it less heavy.

I liked how the chef uses different ingredients to mix and match together. Honestly I found it better than many Michelin starred restaurants and not very pricy. Would love to return and try out their newer dishes.

Pic 1️⃣: 𝑹𝒊𝒔𝒐𝒕𝒕𝒐 𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝒐𝒎𝒐𝒅𝒐𝒓𝒐 - Buffalo Mozzarella, Basil, Sun-Dried Tomato, Annato seed🍅
— Loved the flavours in this, the tomato taste was strong and very aromatic, the basil was the perfect complement to the sun-dried tomatoes and added a nice fragrant touch to the risotto. The buffalo mozzarella added an undeniable creaminess to the dish, and was also able to lighten up the dish a little. One thing I would say is that the risotto was quite watery at the bottom, there was literally a small pool of water underneath the rice which affected the consistency of the dish.

— Loved this starter! A very refreshing start to the meal, and I particularly enjoyed the feta mousse which was light and airy, though also quite salty on its own. The walnut pesto was unique too, giving the dish a slight nuttiness. The cherry tomatoes were fresh, and crisp, and went perfectly with all the other elements on the plate.

— Simple, and light flavours. The smoked onion purée was delicious and really brought the dish together. I loved the different textures the dish had to offer, especially the courgette noodles and sea grapes giving it a nice crunch.

— Definitely worth the extra money! This steak sandwich was super tasty and the beef was really tender. Personally not a huge mustard fan, but I’m glad the mustard mayonnaise is quite light and not overpowering.
