My boyfriend and I decided to come here for a quick bite before going to the madness of Halloween in Lan Kwai Fong. I ordered spinach noodles with hand slapped shrimp balls and ice corn drink. Since portion size was really small, we also ordered a bowl of crab fish fin soup and fried shrimp cakes. These were ok. The soup had a bitter after taste.
The owner was there and it appeared he had friends over as they were sharing a bottle of wine. He came over and talked excitedly with us and said he made extra Ovaltine pudding so will give it to us to try as it's not on the menu. He mentioned he wanted to offer what was fresh on the market and cook it for customers. He then told a waiter to get us some cheese baked stuffed crab shells that he was trying. Though not much crab meat, it was really tasty. I liked the baked cheese. Then he gave us the Ovaltine pudding. It was yummy. Then he chopped some poached chicken. Also not on the menu but he wanted us to try. It was a bit too rare but tasty. I think he would have kept giving us more food for free if we didn't leave.
