朋友大讚既“赤焗薩摩雞腿”確實無令人失望,除左火雞腿之外,真係第一次食咁大隻既雞腿!!!
雞腿以鐵板形式呈上,由店員即場為我地倒下醬汁,帶有蜜糖香甜既醬汁配以外皮脆薄不帶油脂、肉質結實又不失嫩滑既薩摩雞腿,使人食得滋味,難怪朋友食完大讚

呢碟意大利扁麵都好有驚喜呀

麵質彈牙而掛汁,當中既醬汁帶有蠔既鮮味,十分濃郁

朱古力卷蛋既蛋糕綿密濕潤又不失彈性,而捲住既係濃滑不膩既creamcheese,味道合拍,好耐都無係餐廳入面食到咁出眾既卷蛋啦

I arrived at lunch. It was pretty full and I was given the last  table. And there I sat. For a long LONG time before someone came over and asked if I was ready to order. I replied that I was provided with no menu. The waiter apologized and then gave me the lunch menu. Before I could look at the menu, another waiter came over and stood next to me, pen poised. I didn't expect to be paying over a $100 for lunch to only have cha chan teng service. I  told him that I just got the menu and so he so "Oh, I'll come back later. I see you're not ready to order." You're right, buddy! I just told you I just got the menu!


ANYWAYS .... Lunch menu is in English and Chinese. It includes a main and soup. You can upgrade with appetizers, drinks and dessert with a certain amount of money.  There apparently is a minimum charge of $88 per person, so no sharing of one set.

They also have a daily special lunch sets. Of whatever they want to point out. This includes an appetizer, soup, main, drink and dessert for $218. I chose the Hiroshima oysters and clams Provence style.

The appetizer was (from left to right) tuna cerviche topped with black fish roe, Japanese potato salad and mixed greens with sesame dressing The cerviche was refreshing and nicely complemented with the crunchy roe on top. The potato salad was creamy and what I like about Japanese potato salad. The mixed salad, however, was ok but I found a number of browning greens.

The soup was a crab soup with a heavy handed drizzle of truffle oil and an odd streak of black pepper. This was disappointing because  all I could taste was truffle oil. Though I did find lovely chunks of crab meat throughout. The soup was also very VERY creamy.

Then my main arrived. This was fabulous! Lots of clams with meat in each one. There were also 2 big Hiroshima oysters. The seafood was cooked perfectly.  But it was the sauce was the winner. A rich tomato based sauce that was fragrant with an added kick of heat from the chili added.

Dessert was a choice of roll cake or creme brulee. Roll cake was my only choice and I was not disappointed. A soft sesame roll cake with a sakura cream. It was not too sweet and was a total highlight.

My drink was an ice orange tea. This was nice and refreshing with a whole piece of orange in it. The tea wasn't infused with orange flavor so I had to poke at the pulp to release orange flavor.

The food was quite good. Well, aside from the mediocre appetizer and over truffle oil soup. But the rest was astouding. The only thing I didn't like and is reason I really won't be back or at least create extreme hesitation for me to return is the service. First, I wasn't provided with a menu. Then when I was provided with one, I was expected to order like some sort of cha chan teng. Next when my food arrived, the waiter noticed I had no eating utensils. Then he noticed he didn't even wipe the table. Don't you do these things before your diner sits down?  Another thing was how fast everything came out. I had EVERYTHING in front of me (including dessert and drink)  at once.  I guess if you want a fast lunch, this is the place for you. If you want a quiet relaxing lunch  this may not be for you. It's sad really as I did like the food. It's too bad the service made me think twice. And thus, my happy face gets pushed to an ok.

今日和朋友去Lunch,順便傾下計,所以想搵間靜少少,又可以座久少少的餐廳,開個app,搵下附近有乜好選擇而我朋友話想食法式,就搵了呢間。去到真係唔使排隊,可能因為價錢相對上比較貴。它有2層,由於下層已滿座,所以我們要上去一樓。在走到盡頭,準備上樓梯時,見到有2座舊式量體重機。噢!體重機點解會放嚮度?拉一下,很輕而且能動。再大力拉一下,才發現原來是洗手間,好特別!座下後,看了一會餐牌,這裡提供7款Lunch Set,我看了一會後,便想試試其中一道 "焗赤雞薩摩雞腿+黑胡椒飯",而我朋友就點了 "廣島蠔新鮮意大利扁麵"。在我點我的餐時,Waitress 告訴我,這個焗雞腿因為要即時焗,要等15分鐘。很快,2個餐湯和麵包便來了。這個忌廉湯濃度適中,不錯。再過了一會,我朋友的意大利麵也上,再等多5-8分鐘,我點的菜也上了。這個焗雞腿,由於即時焗,所以,每一口也能感受到它的味道鮮味油汁。它的黑胡椒飯也是有一點特別。

廣島蠔新鮮意大利麵 $108
一碟意粉豪氣地放了4隻廣島蠔,而且每隻都飽滿肥美,入口蠔味十足而且零腥味,加上一點點檸檬汁,更覺鮮味。新鮮的意大利麵一入口已經吃得出有分別,口感軟中帶韌度又有彈性,麵條都有吸收到醬汁的味道。醬汁的濃稠度剛好,口感滑溜不黏唇,味道濃郁但不會蓋過蠔的鮮味,適量的黑胡椒讓整道意粉更綿上添花。

跟餐 +$28 可要一份甜品,作為甜品控又貪新的我,決定每份午餐加一款甜品,要了一件綠茶Roll Cake 和一客Crème brûlée。

Crème brûlée 上有燒到脆口又夠薄身的糖霜面,底下是口感軟滑輕巧,味道濃郁蛋香中帶淡淡薑味的燉蛋,加上不會太甜,作為餐後甜品也不會覺得膩。

綠茶Roll Cake 賣相不算特別,但一入口卻是充滿驚喜,清透的綠茶香叫人為之一振,味道真誠又不會覺得澀。綠茶蛋糕做到很薄身且口感鬆軟,而且不會一叉開便與忌廉散作一團。夾著的綠茶忌廉綠茶味十足,口感輕盈而不甜膩。即使明明吃飽了,再吃這件Roll Cake 也不會覺得有負擔,甚至會覺得不夠喉。這是我目前吃過最好吃的一件綠茶Roll Cake ,比起很多以綠茶為主打的甜品做得更出色。細問之下原來用上了京都的高級綠茶粉,難怪味道清幽不庸俗。

老闆更說除了綠茶口味,還有伯爵茶、朱古力口味等,每日不同,如果想指定口味,也可以整條預訂,下次再去中上環一定要訂一條回去呢。

由尚有日光坐到天色變黑,除了口腹得到滿足,平日忙碌工作帶來的繃緊情緒亦得到放鬆。一間好的餐廳,就是有這樣的魔力。

是日餐湯是牛蒡湯生蠔,牛蒡被語為蔬菜人參,能緩解和治療便秘,並有很好的效果。可惜我之前並沒有碰過有關的菜餚,能令我動心。
今晚試了這湯,便明白厨師的烹調方法是非常重要,她將牛蒡打爛煮熱,再用牛蒡湯的熱力令生蠔呈現半生熟的狀態,令廣島蠔的甘香清甜品道,得以發揮,只能說一試難忘吧。

主菜要了鴨肝法國煎蛋波特菇燴飯,鴨肝外表焦脆,內𥚃嫩滑而甘甜,美味程度可以媲美鵝肝,而又沒有鵝肝的肥膩感。至於波特菇燴飯,有點像西班牙飯,軟中帶點嚼勁。而最美味的是法國煎蛋,煎蛋外表看不出內𥚃面的鬆軟,有些像梳乎厘蛋糕,而且蛋味香甜,這個飯濃中有淡,甜中帶甘,非常值得推薦👍👍👍👍👍

識飲識食的食家,當然喜歡日本料理,而以日本廚師主持的法國菜,也非常吸引,在網上看到這裡,我們即刻去訂位。當晚人流不多,老闆親自招呼,其實他是識飲識食嘅人,他分享了紅酒和煙火腿嘅學問,他懂得真的好多。試咗一支平嘅Red Wine,由於老闆介紹的,枝酒不要以為平就差,其實佢質素係一點不錯,入口都好甜美味道,body 好厚,都250元一支👍火腿拼盤168元,有法國、西班牙嘅黑毛豬火腿,西班牙是41個月㗎👍,法國是11個月,連伴碟嘅薄荷葉都食埋,果然是送紅酒一流。我們分享了一個晚餐$498,有前菜、湯、主菜、甜品、茶。前菜有四款,分量雖然不多,但是很好味。是日餐湯是牛蒡湯,內藏兩隻生𧐢,又creamy 又滑,生𧐢鮮、香、甜👍,期待再次來臨,睇下有啲乜嘢是日餐湯。主菜鴨肝梳乎厘蛋伴飯,鴨肝外脆內軟,不會肥膩,意大利飯入口香糯,梳乎厘蛋軟滑,口感與梳乎厘蛋糕相似,不可不試。甜品是朱古力蛋糕,不會過甜,無得輸,入口軟滑👍這麼好的晚飯,不能不分享,我誠意推薦👍👍👍👍👍,期待有機會來吃午餐。

最近IG都不少人分享上環的Figaro食物照和餐廳的小故事,相當有趣,今天到上環工作,我趁機約附近工作的朋友品嚐Figaro特色西日午餐。老闆很友善,在午餐期間閒聊不少,包括他和日籍太太開設餐廳的理念,想給客人家庭料理的好滋味,所用食材更來自不同國家,就連意粉都是新自製的,在這頓午餐我們完全體會到老闆娘的用心和健康的美味。這裡的午餐價錢合理,88元至158元就有一份沙律,餐湯及主食,飲品另加18元,加配甜品則28元。我們當然不會錯過品味甜品的好機會,故也加配甜品與飲品。黃澄澄的南瓜湯撒上胡椒粒,香氣十足,看似簡單,卻令我們驚艷。南瓜湯一舀起來,可以感受到南瓜的濃稠感,天然的甘甜順口鮮美,少少的胡椒粒畫龍點睛的提味,很不錯的湯品。沙律清新爽脆,餐前一吃,胃口大開,想吃更多的美食。朋友的凍水果茶採用新鮮的水果,不添加任何濃縮果汁調味,很快她全喝光了。水果茶入口冰涼,新鮮味美,又不甜膩,全靠滿滿的蘋果,橙肉等水果浸泡冰茶中,把水果甜美發揮得淋漓盡致。清香的櫻花抹茶盡得我心,櫻花抹茶需浸泡一分鐘,香味和茶味漸漸顯現,淡雅的花香撲鼻,仿佛櫻花於眼前舞動著,幽幽的抹茶讓人心曠神怡,精神百倍。蜆肉蕃

蜆肉蕃茄湯新鮮意大利扁麵太好吃了,我們不得不給它滿分。意大利扁麵鋪滿飽滿的蜆肉,喜歡海鮮的我們看到這畫面不禁心花怒放,當我輕咬蝦肉,蝦肉蘊藏的蝦籽大爆發,我第一次嚐到蝦中的鮮蝦籽呢。新鮮意大利扁麵比平日一般所吃柔嫩多,同時盡情吸收垂涎欲滴的酸香蕃茄湯,其清新風味化於口中。

赤雞皮薄薄的,烤得香脆,呈現出美麗的金黃色,香氣逼人。雞腿肉也太白嫩了,女生所渴望的晶瑩剔透,深呼吸呀深呼吸,我們要通通吃掉,雞肉滑溜細緻,肉汁豐沛,回味無窮。胡椒飯挺有咬口,加上胡椒粒,蒜片輕輕調味,伴隨赤雞薩摩雞腿一同吃,更是一流。

甜品是焦糖燉蛋,平常我吃焦糖燉蛋時,都會用匙羹輕輕敲燉蛋表面的焦糖,敲碎後再挖燉蛋一起品嚐,這焦糖竟然敲不破,頗有厚度又香甜。燉蛋部份口感像雪糕般入口即化,最特別的是它以薑汁入饌,使燉蛋甜度恰到好處,散發出絲絲薑汁香氣卻不嗆辣,很溫柔綿密的焦糖燉蛋。

不小心地選了最特別的, 但沒有中伏喔, 反而有驚喜!
