其實整間馥苑於晚上8時之後基本上只剩下4枱客人,分別是 VIP房內的4名煙民、坐於我們身後的醉酒鬼及另一 VIP房內的正常客人。經此一役後,我己對尖東的酒樓失哂信心,怪不得當其他地區都爆滿兼做兩輪的時候,馥苑只做一輪兼且並不爆滿。希望馥苑能在明年的大裝修重開之後能多多改善管理及服務。

肉帶少許爽囗的原因是它有點點脂肪的存在,不過在沒有底味之下肉味就顯得平凡沒趣;醬汁收得不錯但有些刺鼻,但調味上倒是甜酸有道,的確無負送飯王的美譽....

好的椒鹽菜式一定要弄得乾身而不旱。眼前的這個就做得到了....不過大家亦沒預料到它是辣得如斯厲害,卒之最終就算將所有的紅椒粒及炸蒜撥走後那吊片仍是辣得只能給我們兩個年輕人享用。但話說回頭,吊片本身是爽中帶啜囗沒橡膠feel;釀上的蝦膠是撻得甚爽口且味鮮...

一口氣食了好幾件,膽固醇指數恐怕要直線上升了....

原煲焗的它一等便是正正四十五分鐘。飯本身是粒粒皆清楚但食落卻少了一份沙煲香及飯香;飯焦的量是甚少所以最後覺得無端端加了三十大洋添了上湯來送飯焦這舉動確是愚蠢了 (縱然湯本身是無添加的清甜,不錯);在一眾臘味當中以味甘香豐腴的膶腸最好。臘腸則是滲入了點點肥肉進去帶少許爽也不俗;臘肉如果可以有帶半透明的肥脂肪當然是更滋味,現在光只食瘦的就太硬了;鴨肶肉在調味上則是過份地鹹....

絕對並不便宜的一頓家常飯。若和食物質素拿來一起估量的話,我想我是不會再來的了....

We tried to order something else too on their specialty menu which was a pot with taro and preserved meat. We waited and waited for quite a while before someone came out to tell us that the kitchen can't make it. Another WTF moment! Why do you have something on the menu that you can't make? Apparently it was coming out all watery and they have tried twice already. After hearing that we just cut our losses and hightailed out of there. As the prices were not cheap here either, I would rather go to Lei Garden next door instead if I was dining in the area.

喜見新廚手藝不俗,特別是兩道川菜都頗有驚喜,期待下次再來品嚐其他川辣菜。

原來已是三十多能的老字號,也是在區內少數有能吃到早茶點心的中餐館。有時候約了Morning meeting早來到,也會先來「一盅三件」,除了味道份量亦十分老實;幾款點心中也少不了會叫招牌的蝦餃,皮不會「散修修」而蝦肉份量稱職,難得是水準保持得很好。有了蝦餃亦少不得燒賣,是較為創新的品種,加入了黑松露而面層放入鮮蝦,賣相較傳統豪華,肉餡吃起來足料不會「實的的」,頗合現代市場吃得精緻的潮流。腸粉也是即叫即拉,有時會吃傳統的叉燒腸,經理推介另一款特別的海鮮腸,原來是近年頗受歡迎的「春風得意」手功腸粉,把餡料釀入油條後再以粉腸皮包著,吃起來幾綿滑亦夾雜脆脆口感,加上海鮮料,比炸両更豐富豪華。埋單平均百元左右,價錢也是親民的,生意老實,也是再回來的理由。

總括來說,食物質素都ok的,算是新鮮的,最好吃就是那條魚,蒸得剛剛好,肉質非常好,很彈牙很新鮮, 吃魚對皮膚好,所以我很喜歡吃魚。
不太熟悉中餐,也沒有特別喜歡,所以都不知道好還是不好,也不知道這店的名聲是如何,不過感覺不太差的。
因為接近端午節,所以一改往相,沒有吃炒飯粉麵,而是吃粽,我對粽子的感覺一般,可能以前吃得太多了,所以現在都是一般而已。
其實還有很多道菜色,但因為電話的問題,每張照片都是朦的,為什麼電話影會這樣?
因為我那部電話沒有靜音相機,所以每次拍都很嘈,而我是非常討厭那個shutter聲,只好download一個slient camera,但可惜質素始終一般。我頗喜歡吃燒鵝的,如果再多點肉就好了。

It's hard to give comments to Dim Sum restaurants as different restaurants have different specialties which one might miss.First about the service, everyone in the restaurant were eager to help and were efficient. First about the service, everyone in the restaurant were eager to help and were efficient.


The place was pretty spacious with a high ceiling (which significantly reduces the noise level in a restaurant) and plenty of spaces between tables.

A lot of natural light from since the windows weren't blocked.

About the food, these were what we've ordered:

Abalone Shao Mai - it's fine, the abalone itself was small but it's taste was absorbed by the shao mai.
Char Siu Buns - warm, soft and the char siu was sweet. Good;
Congee with Oyster, Faat Choi (Seaweed) and Spare Ribs - Very delicious.
The congee base should be made of pork bone;
Turnip Cake - this was OK. Not warm enough;
New Year cake: this was quite sweet and fried with egg. Again, not warm enough;
Dou Miu (a type of bean sprout) with dried bean curd: very good
The vegetables were very fresh and tasty;
Lobster dumpling: Very strong seafood taste
good but a bit pricey ($48 per piece)

All in all, some hits and misses. "Good" for the service and comfortable interior. OK for Dim Sum.
