很久以前已經想試下呢度既豬扒飯,今日終於的起心肝走上黎搵呢碟豬扒....飯 星期六中午時間,門口排晒隊,我前面有6-7位等緊,幸好排係我前面既兩位哥哥都係一位,有張三人枱走左,三個單拖既人就一齊入去,坐底使諗就叫左金牌豬扒飯+熱檸茶。檸茶好快送到,咦!加左糖水架喇喎!原來呢度既檸茶唔使自己加糖既,我第一次見到杯檸茶係兩層色架 而且都幾好飲呀!我係檸茶怪,講真茶底真係唔錯。大約十分鐘,豬扒飯送到,擺底後我竟然唔記得左第一時間影相,食左一舊仔豬扒先醒起未影相喎!唯有砌返靚黎影,豬扒堅係好食!!份量又足料,認真抵食!下次再黎試埋個牛肉麵先得!

在上環上班,甚少外出吃飯。難得今日朋友相約我吃豬扒飯,嘴饞的我當然一口答應了。店內座位不多,午晚時間人龍不斷,濟得水泄不通,恰巧今天下雨,排隊輪候的人少了,等了不一會便可入座了。 朋友點招牌豬扒飯($50),我卻貪心一點,點了豬扒雞翼飯($45)。以全人手搥鬆豬扒,豬扒即叫即煎,肉質嫩滑惹味,味道香濃美味, 鬆軟多汁,配白飯一流!

見佢平時咁多人排隊,今日特登早啲走去食早餐唔駛等位本來好開心既坐低即刻叫咗個$44嘅豬扒麵,加蛋加$4 ,凍奶茶$15食第一啖已經覺得好失望,公仔麵太lum,個蕃茄湯一般,而啲豬扒只可以話得個鹹味,完全唔特別,好多間茶餐廳都食到既味道。而奶茶就好甜,好後悔冇叫到少甜完全唔明白點解會需要排隊食啲咁普通既茶記,又貴喎,食個茶記早餐埋單要$60幾蚊真係貴到傻!

Look at that glistening pork over a bed of hot steaming rice. The pork chops are tender, juicy and extremely flavorful. For Kee’s signature pork chop over rice, marinated (in I have no idea what amazingness that is) and then pan-fried. Easy, comforting and delicious. The pork has a nice simple char but is not burnt. LOVE IT! The rice soaks up that amazing pork marinade. NO MSG either. #LEGIT

趁早上冇乜人就黎到呢間好出名既豬扒飯店食飯,真係好彩唔駛排隊就有位。我叫左個什扒飯($44),友人叫左鮮茄豬扒飯($55),另外叫左杯凍好立克($14)。基本上係到食就預左比其他一般快餐店要等耐少少,鋪頭都有大大隻字寫不要催促。約10分鐘後鮮茄豬扒飯先到,食左少許都覺得個飯好正,豬扒夠鬆軟,醃好味道,絕對出面一D餐廳唔醃塊扒搵汁撈就算。等多5分鐘我份什扒飯都到左。什扒飯包括豬扒約一塊,雞翼(非豉油王)、腸仔,午餐肉及火腿各一件。先食豬扒,一樣咁鬆軟好味,雞翼比我想像中好味,腸仔果D都係大路野。至於汁方面我覺似洋蔥汁,但唔會有洋蔥比你食到(想食洋蔥應該要加錢)。食埋D飯我發覺我成碟飯都有一個問題,就係唔夠熱。除左塊豬扒係熱,其他所有餸都係微暖近乎凍,連白飯都係唔熱,我等左成3個字都係比D唔熱既野我食其實都唔太開心,明明間野計埋我地都冇8個客,又冇乜人外賣……之後杯凍好立克黎,我滿心歡喜地想像一杯14蚊既野會有幾好味,但點之完全唔值呢個價。好淡,九成九比好少粉就算數,唉,明明我係用原價單叫又唔係跟餐叫,咁都比D垃圾黎,好灰。黎得呢到梗係試埋牛肉,所以再加份鮮茄牛肉三文治($45),另外再叫

一場來到當然要試金牌豬扒飯,配上奶茶或咖啡的套餐售$48,改為老火湯則只需加$6。小妹原本想喝老火湯,但阿姐告知星期六並不供應,於是退而求其次柯打一杯熱檸茶。

由於豬扒即點即煎,因此製作需時不能心急,牆上也貼了告示提示客人耐心等候,成品差不多20分鐘始送上。這碟招牌菜份量澎湃,兩塊切件豬扒置於面頭,幾乎把底下的白飯也遮蓋。雖然成品顯得有點凌亂,但味道方為至上。

據知餐廳夥計每天用上大半小時,以人手拍鬆3箱共數百塊豬扒,之後再以白糖、豆粉、豉油等醃製過夜,第二天便能煎香奉客。

眼前的豬扒鑊氣十足,入口即嚐到一陣焦香,肉質未至於鬆化無比,但也不會硬磞磞死實實,中心還保持著充足的肉汁。近骨的部位連著少少脂肪,油份令美味更加昇華,豐腴甘香非常邪惡。

墊底的白飯煮得稍為腍軟,未有粒粒分明之理想效果,幸而淋在面頭的豉油不俗,甜甜的夠惹味,再夾雜豬扒的油份,輕易地便能把整碟白飯扒光。順帶一提,這裡的豬扒很快沽清,想吃便要趁早了。

柯打熱檸茶時阿姐即問:「要不要糖?」起初不以為意,後來才知他們沖製時會一併調校。檸茶送上時小妹大感好奇,為何出現上啡紅下透明兩截顏色?原來店家先在杯底落糖漿,然後再倒入紅茶,由於兩者密度不同,因而不會混在一起。

杯內浸著四片檸檬,今時今日已算慷慨。紅茶清徹香味充足,未叫醇厚但不苦澀,甜度剛好深得我心。個人認為吃過豬扒後,再喝一杯帶酸的熱檸茶,有助消減油膩的感覺。

牛肉乃另一名物必定要試,為食妹頭就選了鮮牛肉公仔麵($32)。成品的賣相絲毫不吸引,著實教人失望!碗內約有七、八片牛肉,淥熟後全部捲作一團,並被公仔麵重重包圍。夾塊牛肉放進嘴巴,咦!想不到又頗嫩滑喎,不似被鬆肉粉處理過,很家常的味道。

公仔麵則煮得過份腍軟,完全失去煙韌的質感,吃至中途經已發脹。如果可以轉為出前一丁,我寜願多付幾元好了。至於湯底淡而有味,應該加入了調味粉,不宜多喝。

沒有甜品總是若有所失,我們想到以奶醬多($9)代替,還不是為多吃一點找藉口。多士厚度足足超過一寸,四邊仍保留著包皮,面層和底部都經過烘焗,絕無馬虎。店家貼心地把多士切開,移開來看即見麵包氣孔,大大小小形狀各異。

咬下去時眼睛不禁瞪大了!為何會如此鬆軟?就是那種吃一口之後,麵包會慢慢回彈至原先高度的效果。特別喜歡深褐色的包皮,焗得非常香脆,塗在面頭的煉奶花生醬,前者比例較多而後者稍欠香濃,為食妹頭表示份量可再多些,而我則覺得恰到好處,否則便會變得過膩。

這天因要在灣仔辦點私事,向公司請了半天假,搞妥後便坐叮叮過來上環。天氣實在火熱,店子門面也與上次稍有不同,主要是落了兩塊白簾,上兩分別寫著「科記牛肉麵」和「科記豬扒飯」,其實主要作用是遮擋太陽,亦防止冷氣走出門外。

由於是平日十時許非繁忙時段,客人遠比之前稀疏得多,也較方便拍些環境照片。店內並無甚麼裝潢設計可言,只能以平實、樸素、簡陋來形容,但亦因此散發一種古早風味,置身其中就如回到過去般。屋頂還掛著白色吊扇,讓我想起小學時代的日子。

洋蔥沙嗲鮮牛多士($45)是行程目標,還未坐定便心急落單,店員伯伯還以為我是來外賣的,認真失禮!新鮮即製的多士送到面前,十分燙口,裏面夾著澎湃的鮮牛肉片,包著一層薄薄的沙嗲汁,不似坊間般沾著大量醬液。經過醃製後的牛肉微辣,惹味過癮,洋蔥爽脆又香甜,可惜份量相對太少。

小妹向來不喝奶茶,但知道這是老舖名物,也忍不住一試。從廚房那個小窗口隱約看到沖製過程,只見店員先在杯底加奶加糖,然後再把沖好的茶膽撞進杯中,三兩下手勢便成事。正常甜度的奶茶($13)夠熱力,茶的濃度不算高,奶味亦見單薄,可取之處是夠順滑,整體來說有點失望。

後記
小妹對老餐廳有一份好感,除了欣賞店主默默耕云、堅守本業,𡚒力對抗無情社會的淘汰,也特別珍惜那份濃厚的人情味。科記開業至今經已數十載,由最初的大牌檔至遷入地舖,一直留守在太平山街的地段,久而久之累積了一班熟客,看見他們不言而喻的默契、聽到他們說笑式的對話內容,小妹也不禁會心微笑。

雖然科記算是闖出名堂,但卻沒有那種驕橫的氣燄,繁忙時段用餐要這要那,店員全無黑面或置若罔聞,付錢時仍會聽到一聲「多謝」,這些看似基本的服務態度,今時今日已非必然。店內放著一幅黑白相片,科記的外貌不無兩樣,如今,能夠抗衡時代巨輪的老店,還剩下多少?

早前無意間在朋友的臉書上看到一張豬扒飯的相片,讓人垂涎三尺,馬上show給惡人看。原來是近來網上熱爆的「科記咖啡餐廳」,他數月前亦嚐過店裡的招牌豬扒飯,味道確實不錯。上星期剛巧要到中環辦事,惡人便先帶我到這間三十多年的老店嚐嚐~上斜、下斜、左轉、右拐,好不容易終於來到時間大概是下午一時三十分,店前排了數位食客,等了約十分鐘便有位,但當然是要「搭枱」啦~原本想喝老火湯,但老闆娘說星期六不煲湯,只好點兩份豬扒飯。點餐後又再等了十多分鐘,終於迎來這碟【芽菜洋蔥豬扒飯】,豬扒鬆軟入味,肥瘦適中,鑊氣十足(HK$55)【金牌豬扒飯】特別叮囑要多色(即多汁),送來時卻是特別少汁,只好自行加豉油。相比惡人那碟,這份豬扒味道相當淡,肉質軟但不嫩 (HK$51/飯&可樂一枝)【茶走(奶茶不加糖,改加煉奶)】茶味剛好,入口醇滑,是整頓飯的亮點。但因是後加的關係,要HK$13,如果是跟餐點,只需加HK$2。如此笨的行為大家千萬不要學!埋單HK$119,紫瑤跟大家一樣覺得價錢偏貴,但店子標榜以全人手搥鬆豬扒,並即叫即煎,這些功夫確實難以用金錢來衡量。另外,光顧店子前建議大家留意一下以下幾項評語,免得吃罷一肚氣

店內約有三十個座位,但空間很少,食客們背對背,「搭枱」是必然的。大概是因為有多份報章及雜誌報導過這間老店,所以店前總排著一條人龍,少一點耐性也吃不到。那天就見識到一位「正宗港女」等到發爛渣,手指指要店員把一位正坐著等餐的食客轉往其他桌著,好騰出空位讓她和男友坐,那種港女本色看得我目定口呆。

食物質素: ★★☆☆
老實說,豬扒沒有我想像中美味,網上亦有不少文章批評店子越來越有名氣,價錢越來越貴,豬扒越來越薄,服務亦越來越差。我只吃過一次,不確定是不是廚房一時失準,但整體而言並不算是非吃不可的名物。

服務態度: ★★☆☆☆
店子由一對六十多歲姓盧的老夫婦打理,老闆娘管廚房,盧先生負責水吧。不知道是否因為太多客人,服務態度及效率確實有待改善。跟我們同桌的夫婦吃完多士良久,連奶茶也喝光,仍未見兩份豬扒飯,怕漏單了,禮貌地問了一聲,老闆娘馬上黑面回應說豬扒要等。所以奉勸大家一句,趕時間千萬不要來這店啊~

Be sure to go early before their peak hour, because they have limited seats while people still love going there for lunch.
I ordered their famous pork chop rice, with hot milk tea. Some would say that the pork chop rice is just like any other ordinary pork chop rice that you can get outside. But to me, I think the pork chop was very well-marinated and every bite was so tender and flavorful. It also had this subtle ‘honey’ sweetness to it. This dish was very simple indeed, but it is always this kind of simple dish that makes you feel homely. If you want me to comment what can be improved, I would definitely love to have the meat more juicy.

To me, I think their pork chop is even better than the one in Macau. I will try out their pork chop bun for my next visit, for a direct comparison.
