I went here for dinner tonight and had the $108/per person all you can eat and drink hot pot special. Overall it was a mixed experience.
Pro: the price is relatively reasonable. You can order fat beef, lamb, pork and chicken and all sorts of wonton/dumpling/yuan/vegetable. The selection was decent. As for drinks, you can choose beer (only had one type), sugarcane drink and plum soup (shuan mui tong).
Con:
1. Service was not great. Our server did not smiled the whole time and seemed annoyed when we tried to ask some questions. She also gave us the wrong soup base (ordered the double soup base -pork and satay, but she gave us only satay).
2. Some items were not fresh - One type of the wonton we ordered had gone bad and tasted sour. We had to throw the whole dish away.
3. Limited choice w. sauce - no choice with mixing the sauce. Only has the standard soy sauce.
So, this was an okay experience. If you have a smaller group, then I should warn you about the size of the wonton, dumpling & yuan plates. On average there were 6-8 pieces per serving and generally, the size was bigger.
