少年時代住在太子道,媽咪會帶我們幾姐妹到鳳城飲茶。今天,Honey在太子附近工作,所以,跟他「舊地重遊」,再品嚐少年時代的懷舊風味。午飯時間,人不算多,搭枱,很快就有座位。Honey所點的,全是傳統點心:古法馬拉糕、臘腸卷、炸豆沙角和灌湯餃。全都跟我少年時代在鳳城吃的一模一樣!而且,有些點心,例如炸豆沙角,在現在一般酒樓已不多見了。尤其,上湯炸粉果,簡直是「久違了」!炸得香脆的外皮,浸一浸上湯,軟脆夾雜,好特別!論酒樓裝潢、員工服務、食物味道和食品選擇...鳳城雖然並無值得大力鼓掌的地方。但是,仍保留住傳統食品、製作、味道...已值得一再舊地重遊了!下一次,一定要跟媽咪和幾姐妹同來!

Honey所點的,全是傳統點心:
古法馬拉糕、臘腸卷、炸豆沙角和灌湯餃。
全都跟我少年時代在鳳城吃的一模一樣!
而且,有些點心,例如炸豆沙角,在現在一般酒樓已不多見了。

尤其,上湯炸粉果,簡直是「久違了」!
炸得香脆的外皮,浸一浸上湯,軟脆夾雜,好特別!

酒樓裝潢、員工服務、食物味道和食品選擇...鳳城雖然並無值得大力鼓掌的地方。
但是,仍保留住傳統食品、製作、味道...
已值得一再舊地重遊了!

下一次,一定要跟媽咪和幾姐妹同來!

鳳城這老酒家從沒令我失望,次次均回味無窮,吃完立刻又想下次幾時又可再吃。今夜的乳豬生腸,不愧是鎮店招牌菜,乳豬十多件件件脆卜卜,生腸索索聲,花生又是卜卜脆,聲色味俱全。桂魚卷賣完,代之的生魚卷沒失色,和荷蘭豆香芹云耳生炒,魚件香脆鮮嫩,鑊氣十足。藕餅的藕和豬肉剁得細細,片片煎得金黃,爽脆的藕粒和着彈牙鮮肉,啖啖都見證厨功夫了得。炸子雞也是必叫,久居雪梨的哥哥吃一口便大叫不得了,那是他久違了的黃油雞,炸得皮脆肉嫩,咬一口鮮雞汁和雞油飛濺,哥的表情簡直像驚為天人。清炒豆苗也是水準之作,而且大贈送,是無一斤也有十二両的件頭。炒鮮奶我常覺是吸油機器,不愛,不談。蓮蓉西米布甸是連我不嘗甜的也必捧塲,有時甚至要如下戰塲般搶,那熱香甜滑,是中式甜品中之妙品。

習慣每次寫網誌或食評前都會上網找找一些背景資料,了解一下店子的歷史或故事,這次無意間發現這中菜館原來也上演過電視劇般的商標爭奪戰橋段,在此跟大家分享一下吧~根據資料,「鳳城」其實是順德大良鎮的別稱,而「鳳城酒家」便是由順德名廚馮滿於1954年創辦。當年馮師傅在銅鑼灣伊榮街(富豪香港酒店的現址)開了第一間店,其後他的外甥兼徒弟 - 譚氏兄弟於1978年及1984 年分別在北角和太子開了分店,總店則於1988年結業。2002年譚氏兄弟的師弟趙海峰和何盛標離開北角鳳城,帶同數位北角舊店的師傅在上環自立門戶,徵得譚氏兄弟同意,仍以鳳城為名。後來新光酒樓集團註冊成立了「鳳城酒家飲食集團」,更夥同上環鳳城開了多間分店,令譚氏兄弟一度在報章刊登聲明,澄清正宗鳳城只有北角和太子兩家,別無分店廢話說完了,入正題吧~這兩個月經常於太子出沒,順道跟惡人在這區覓食。早前先試了這間位於彌敦道的「鳳城酒家」店子裝潢保留著傳統中式茶館的風格,簡單僕實,還有七十年代專為小朋友而設的木座椅,餐牌上印有鳳凰圖案本來想點幾款點心,但看到這個《二人世界》套餐便點來試試先來一碟【乳豬拼生腸】,薄薄的皮燒得既香且脆,乳豬肉質嫩滑

先來一碟【乳豬拼生腸】,薄薄的皮燒得既香且脆,乳豬肉質嫩滑,沒半點多餘脂肪,一吃便停不了口!
下層的生腸是我吃過最好吃的,比我另一至愛 - 「肥X小食」的滷水生腸好吃數十倍!厚厚的生腸爽口彈牙,配上特製的滷水汁,入味但不會過咸,現在想起馬上口水直流

第一次黎鳳城飲茶,其實之前聽就聽得多。以為酒樓內會好陳舊,不過都幾好鮮蝦韮菜角:炸到金黃香脆,仲一d都唔油,食落仲有粒粒蝦仁,正古法馬拉糕:印象中,古法的顏色應該都會更深色,不過呢一個顏色唔係啡啡的,但都好軟滑雞扎:感覺好傳統,出面的酒樓多數用雞柳,不過佢呢到,係用連骨的雞煎腸粉:煎得較硬及油,醬料都唔係太足夠。豬潤燒賣:肉得散,感覺怪怪

單看外表, 著實聯想不了它就是腐皮卷;

而且賣相一點都不會令人胃口大開。

誰不知, 它竟然是多款點心中,

味道最好的一款!!

與朋友飯聚,想食中菜,因可以坐耐d吹吓水,朋友建議去鳳城我哋由六点半坐到十点,客人都唔少,都有d嘈架,但冇所謂啦,老字号既酒樓就係咁,服務都可以炸子雞~好味,雞嫩皮脆竹笙上素~好多雜菜在內,味道啱啱好炒鮮奶~我觉得一般,冇乜味,又加左d杏仁片在面,麻麻地蝦多士~好香口,不會炸过龙 鳳城炒飯~好大碟,夠乾身,又足料整體上,不錯味道,价錢合理,值得去!

賣相工整入囗不油不膩見功夫;蓮藕粒切成碎下得足夠食落嗦嗦有聲也有很強烈的莞莤香味。質感亦不會太散淰醃味調得剛好。是整桌菜中其一最出色的一道....

光看到碟底的那一攤紅紅而油光滿面的甜酸汁,再加上看似尤如軟皮蛇的炸肉外皮便已覺不妙。好在肉本身肥瘦分佈得宜不會像在食柴皮算是執番身彩,不然的話就真的全碟也不能吃了....

所有材料經兜亂後上碟賣相的確凌亂不堪。蛋是老得很絕不夠嫩滑,而且最弊的是用作調味的鹽好像還未有炒勻便匆匆上桌,有些地方是鹹到入心入肺但其他的部份卻是淡得要命。唯一可取之處是魚肚的份量足且沒溢味,質地也夠爽彈;芽菜亦多也夠爽....

另一道在此耳熟能詳逢來必叫的菜式。墊底的多士乾身不滲油沒太重油溢味,脆度方面也挺足夠;蝦每隻大小不太一致而且肉質稍嫌太淰散少了甜鮮及應有的彈牙口感。相比起從前做出來的水準實在有感退步甚多....

出奇地反而兩味平平無奇的家常炒菜這裡是做得相當稱職毫不求其 ---- 前者好吃的關鍵是椒絲及腐乳落得重手是極之惹味。通菜份量足而每條也夠翠綠夾爽;後者菜心每粿排得井井有條同樣鮮爽甜。蒜蓉量是毫非吝嗇令美味程度提昇了一倍也不止....

隔了良久沒來光顧,感覺到有好些食物的水準是下降了。不過自己此時也為這老店提了一個可能的藉囗 ---- 那便是在過節旺場日,師傅為了應付過多的order而急就章去處理食材的結果....

所以在此的溫馨提示便是,若要試出廚房真功夫的話,那就千萬不要揀這些過節日子來吃東西了....

Arrived at the restaurant and it was brightly lit with crystal chandeliers and glistening décor, although it was brightly lit there were tell tale signs that this restaurant has been here for years with décor to disguise it.
After settling down, it was the usual annoyance because I go into restaurants expecting their bowls and cups to be clean and not have to clean it myself.
The items on the set meal seemed interesting, it was not the usual fare because I did not know that it was Shunde style food that time.

The soup was good too!
The chicken was so soft and full of flavour from the soup that it did not need soy sauce and the black chicken skin tasted sticky and elastic which was not at all fat.

I was glad it was a dessert that I could eat because the usual ones such as sweet soups and puddings are two sweet and I hate sweet soups.

Fresh fruits:
These were sliced oranges.

早1日預訂的菜式,見其名已知是釀雞翼,但不知什麼料,原來是釀入筍絲、金華火腿絲及冬菇絲,托底配以芥蘭
雞翼味道似曾相識,是爸爸煮菜的味道,很有家的感覺(可能都是順德烹調法
),也因這似曾相識的味道,覺得不太特別,加上味道略嫌太濃,尤其芥蘭鹹了點,以這價錢食一道住家菜,感覺也太過不值

也是預訂的菜式,與窩貼大明蝦相似的菜式
一上檯已傳來陣陣的多士味,雖已吃到滿滿,但依然對這滿有期待
多士非常香脆,蝦味亦爽甜,但據說肉和多士中夾雜鴨肝,但我食了兩件也不知道,妹妹則說以為是吞拿魚醬,顯然鴨肝味道未見突出
中間的沙律,內裡的蘋果很粉不爽,而且沙律醬味道不出,中式酒家的沙律也不應存以厚望

及後才發現價錢比窩貼大明蝦(12件)還貴了$100

朋友推介必食菜式,也是必須預訂的菜式之一,乍看來完全估不到是什麼
吃一口,感覺很古怪,中間夾雜像是脂肪的東西,口感乾硬,味道也未見突出,是全晚最差的一道

由於店員太快,未有拍到原貌已給瓜分,全晚另一期待之作,也是須早1日預訂的
比原先預訂的人數少了2人,還怕食不完需打包
一上檯已嗅到香味,熱騰騰賣相十分吸引,雖然小女不好蓮蓉,但此布甸加入吉士一併焗,蓋了蓮蓉的味道多了一點吉士的甜味及香味,西米也夠軟滑,有入口即溶的感覺(太誇了
),而且甜度剛好,雖然不受爸媽的寵愛,但也不費吹灰之力就給清理掉

弟弟還打包了出名的鳳城炒飯 $88,但未有試食,不能comment

酒家最後還附送紅豆沙,各人已經太飽已無人問津,小女也嘗面淺嚐了幾口,吃罷布甸後,紅豆沙味道更被比下去,但入口不太甜,而且煮得很綿,附送的甜品也不差

服務尚可,但在追問尚欠預訂的3款菜式時,店員接二連三問我們是否已經完成,也未免太有點那個


整體食物有驚喜也有失望的,但收到帳單的一刻就有點失望,茶位$14/位,8大1小埋單$2100,小的都沒有吃過東西,每人$263,不是十分飽滿,而且兩老對菜式表示一般,下次家庭聚餐已不會放此在列表內了

Other Info. : 家鄉最愛的南乳骨未在菜單內找到,而菜單菜式偏向普通未見特色

我一向懶打食評,今次都忍唔住要係度寫下野. 琴日同男友去太子鳳城食飯,夜晚九點半到. 一入門口同經理講兩位,佢完全無理我地. 甘我地咪自己揾位坐底囉. 然後佢黑口黑面咁放低D餐牌就走左去. 我地睇完餐牌之後叫左第二個待應過黎落單. 呢個面色都唔係好囉. 大概15分鐘後就上菜,食左一陣(都唔知有無15分鐘),當時差唔多十點兩個字,佢地就叫我地埋單. 心諗:洗唔洗咁早啊,出面寫收11點架喎. 不過我地照埋左單先. 再隔多十幾分鐘佢地就換好曬便服,攞哂手袋出黎圍住我地坐,時不時望住我地食野. 又熄哂冷氣. 要換既枱布放係我地張枱既空位度. 當時10點半都未到啊. 唔好話係香港,就算係大陸都未試過咁既服務態度. 唔想做生意咪出聲囉. 洗唔洗咁啊. 佢地食既野唔平架(一個雜菜煲都要八十幾蚊),環境又唔係好, 又唔係乾淨(我隻湯匙仲黏住好多飯). 食物味道又太鹹.其實北角既鳳城我地都去過飲茶, D野食OK架. 服務都係麻麻架啦, 不過又覺得舊式酒樓通常都係咁架啦, 都慣架啦. 但係離普到咁,真係第一次囉. 唉...香港既食市幾時變到咁架,仲要係有名既鳳城.
