隨餐送上綠豆沙糖水, 有下香草去煲, 不錯。

週末的晚上, 七時半已滿座, 豆腐未夠八點已沽清了, 場面熱鬧。埋單每位平均要三百元, 以家常小菜, 沒有貴價海鮮和海味而言不便宜呢。

既是招牌菜之一, 西米蓮蓉焗布甸不在餐牌內(只在12人套餐內見到), 要先預訂, 可是訂位時卻沒有提醒。老店有老店的個性, 但教生客都敗興而回, 不是能長期持續經營的好手法吧?

顺德菜一直是心头爱,喜欢他的清淡不油腻。作为一家老店,凤城老店自然要来亲自捧场。晚上6点开始营业,店员的服务热情但不过分,点菜时还会提醒你点太多可能吃不完,但是我们又很想多试几样,所以就没有客气~很多人推荐大虾锅贴,但不爱吃油炸的我,实在喜欢不起来,吃了一口就没再碰。蒸鲮鱼球让我很惊喜,是我吃过最好的。当红炸子鸡就没什么惊喜了,可有可无。当晚最让我心水的,还是莲蓉焗西米布甸,点了细窝,发现还是一大盆,适合3-4人,不过真的很好吃,莲蓉细滑香甜,令人回味无穷~

蛋黃蓮蓉包 $17: 8.5分, 還好蛋黃蓮蓉包就沒有令人失望, 大大個的蓮蓉包, 熱辣辣, 包身鬆軟, 蓮蓉味道香甜, 蛋黃夠甜美, 這個蓮蓉包的味道, 跟小時候祖母帶我吃蓮蓉包的很相近. 昔日的, 回憶中的味道, 還是最有感情.

很久沒有來太子的鳳城酒家, 這次再來, 一切依舊, 一系列傳統點心很有水準, 如上湯炸粉果, 香芋鴨腳扎, 淡水鮮蝦餃, 以及蛋黃蓮蓉包皆有水準. 能夠繼續吃到這些昔日的味道, 要珍惜.

乳豬的外皮燒得脆卜卜,中間夾著一層超薄的嫩滑脂肪,底下的肉位很瘦且有鹹香,配合起來就是美味的頭盤。生腸入口豐厚,口感不算很爽又未至腍軟。沒有怪異的羶味,這個倒是處理得宜。

之前晚餐黎食過粟米班塊,覺得好好食,今日專程黎食lunch食粟米班塊飯炒底,同埋我至愛既焗西米布甸!炒飯好正!汁夠多,班塊係新鮮石班,唔係一般急凍魚,份量亦夠,炒飯好乾身,唔油,呢幾部份同蓮香差不多不相伯仲,但更勝蓮香既係炒底同個汁有蛋,蛋香令佢贏了!食完加個布甸甜品,不過今次甜品略淡同蓮蓉比平時少,未夠完美。

炸子雞皮脆, 雞不算肥, 尚可;
豆苗新鮮。

埋單約$600, 價錢合理。

除非十分想吃蝦多士(鍋貼明蝦), 不然, 只是普通連鎖式酒樓水準而已, 可不用再去。

In the end they managed to find us another seat but that 2 dishes disappeared into the air as well. As it was nearing Christmas, so the waitress informed us that some of the dishes were sold out.

In front of the photo was stir-fried minced pork wrapped in lettuce. They were served separately, so we can decide on the amount of meat to put on the lettuce. Minced pork was cooked together with nuts and cut mushrooms. Lettuce was fresh and the minced pork paste was nice too. On the top left hand side was braised Shatin tofu. Besides having braised tofu in the dish, it also has green beans, mushrooms and roasted pork. Tofu was not smooth enough. Roasted pork has layer of fats with it, when eaten it was nice. Top right was fried prawns. Basically it was French toast with prawns. Bread was toasted till crispy and with a bit of garlic taste. Prawns were very tender as well.

因為一早約了藏友是夜吃晚飯,而星仔事後才告知買了機票來香港,於是就促成第一次星仔跟我的朋友的第一次見面。因為知道這裡的名氣菜式八寶鴨和蓮蓉西米布甸都要預訂,所以已早於兩星期前訂位時,說明要此兩道菜,但甫來到食店時,竟然說把我們的枱給了別人,幸好最後他也能安排座位給我們,但那兩道就沒了。因為臨近聖誕,很多菜式都說售罄了,在沒太多選擇下,就點了幾道小菜。最前面的是鳯城生菜包($128),就是用生菜包著左面的松子、肉粒和冬菇來吃,生菜都算新鮮,材料都算多,生菜都用完了,還有不少食材剩呢!肉粒用鹽醃過,調味剛剛好,不會過咸。左上角的是紅燒沙田豆腐($88),內裡除了紅燒豆腐,還有青豆、冬菇和叉燒。豆腐外皮煙韌,但入面不夠滑。叉燒屬半肥廋,不會過韌,不錯。最後面的是鍋貼大明蝦($160),其實就是烘多士上面放有大蝦,多士烘得非常香脆,而且還有一點蒜蓉的香味,大蝦肉質彈牙爽口,真不愧是這裡的招牌菜。而右手面的是蒜蓉炒豆苗,豆苗是我最喜歡的菜,這裡的豆苗不會炒得過老,不錯,不過就不大吃到蒜蓉的味道。焗蓮蓉西米布甸侍者原本說沒有蓮蓉西米布甸的,但後來又說有一個多了,可以給我們。焗蓮蓉西米布甸其實幾年前

焗蓮蓉西米布甸

侍者原本說沒有蓮蓉西米布甸的,但後來又說有一個多了,可以給我們。焗蓮蓉西米布甸其實幾年前來這吃晚飯時都有吃過,味道依然。布甸味道甜度適中,能味到蓮蓉的香味,非常好吃。

以為老酒家的點心一定會有保證?其實不一定的哦。連最普通的蝦餃也弄不好,一點鮮蝦味也沒有,只有咸味!其餘的蒸點亦只屬平平,不難吃也沒有驚喜。例如蒸節瓜應該是火候太過了,一點也沒有口感,味道亦太淡。唯一稍出色的是炸魷魚,夠脆口!最後,價錢也不是便宜的,同樣的價錢已經可以去稻x酒家多吃三,四個點心了。

本來我地諗住去始創飲茶(一行4人),但點知超爆,朋友突然話不如去鳳城食,都好喎,舊式又未食過,因而我地即去!~差不多2點去到大約等20分鐘有位,裝修舊式但乾淨。待應比茶同野食紙,茶就冇咩味道,淡淡的。朋友見到人地食义燒辨面,顏色吾錯,所以我地照叫一個和一些點心。义燒辨面:义燒偏瘦(竟然!~少可舊式酒家用瘦义,但味道夠同吾硬),辨面份量都好多,但䓤油太少,同味道吾太夠。只覺普通質素,但其他地方比較少見。點心:蝦餃好味,夠大隻同薄身。魚頭醬吾好味,吾夠野味同咸。鴨掌夠入味。燒賣在外比較少見,味道吾錯,材料也很多同豬肉足料而吾硬。馬拉糕質感係吾錯,但濕左少少,可能整得太耐,有水滲入去。最後我地食左大約2小時左右離開,始終都要支持下舊式酒家同味道真的同大財團好吾同,不論人情味和食品質。
