聽到木片琴的聲音,也趕緊霸個頭位看師傅表演=] 要承受這種人人舉機的壓力也不少呢,哈哈,年青的師傅果真三幾下就切好用來當刺身的部份,檢查沒有細骨後就切片侍客。吞拿魚其他的部份,就會分給酒店內其他餐廳製作菜式,公關哥哥謂每日酒店都可以消耗得到一條25kg的吞拿魚,絕不浪費,欣賞欣賞。

老老實實,近年吃自助餐已經很少將胃納焦點放在甜品區,通常質素也平平,但真心真心真心推介Conrad這裡的甜品,無一失望,而且酒店與美國的農場合作,將不同的新鮮莓果引進,所以這夜看到的大部份甜品都是士多啤梨跟藍莓為主,也有紅莓黑莓等款式。魚子醬跟媽媽也是草莓控,這個晚上大滿足!

正準備進入吃熱葷的時候,大約是七點半左右的時間,場內有了一陣的起哄,原來是特別安排的即席劏吞拿魚表演,此魚達25公斤,平常很少會見到的,查問之下才知道每天餐廳都會安排一場,看見師父不消一會兒,便將新鮮的吞拿魚切成刺身給客人享用,新鮮切下來的味道果然在鮮度上吃得出來。

欣賞完表演後,慢慢開始吃點熱葷了,近門口的位置擺放了一盤燒烤食物,吸引力非凡,正拿點來吃時,侍應說平時會將燒烤檔放在室外的露天位置,即叫即烤,但由於下大雨而搬了進來,雖然是不是即叫即烤,但由於反應熱烈,很快便被清盤了,幸好refill的速度很快。如此受歡迎不難理解,羊架烤得恰到好處,豬肋骨更是惹味,雞翼也有不錯的水準,再加上豐富多汁的小漢堡,賣相吸引,味道誘人。

基本上其他的熱葷也沒有吃過,為的就是接下來的重頭戲 – 烤澳洲和牛肋排及烤豬架,友人更大膽地叫師父切下一塊份量十足的給我,外焦內嫩,肉味濃厚,而肉汁更是豐富,近骨的肥厚脂肪位有著肥美甘香的味道,這塊連著骨的肉眼真是帶給人無比的精彩,出面要賣也要幾百大元,現在是任吃,真是滿足。

其實熱葷中也有不少值得推介的,好像賣相對辦的咕嚕肉,吃時還帶點香脆;豉椒炒聖子,聖子炒得極具鑊氣,又惹味;還有由印藉廚師主理的咖哩,既香濃又層次豐富,香而少辣,十分美味。

吃到此時,都差不多時間了,場內再次起哄,由位處一角的甜品檔傳出,比籃球大上數倍的巨型蛋糕放在枱上,餅廚們嚴陣以待。其中一位拿著點了火的酒精淋在蛋糕上,蛋糕即時著了火,在熊熊烈火下,表面的蛋白烤出香味來,直至大火熄滅後,餅廚切開後,才知道是火焰雪山,有點兒慚愧後知後覺。內部由士多啤梨、朱古力、雲尼拿及榛子味的雪糕製作,吃時除了有陣陣的焦香外,還有濃濃的冧酒香,令人驚嘆的甜品

胃口實在很難再吃得下其他甜品了,可是卻還有一個可愛的賣點,就是雪糕意粉,廚師先將雪糕放入特製的機器內,擠壓出意粉狀的雪糕,再在上面淋上士多啤梨果醬、杏仁片及脆粒等模仿著肉醬意粉般,極為有趣。

甜品除了大路的蛋糕外,還有一樣非常有趣的東西就是雪糕意粉,店家把雪糕球放進特製的機器中,就可壓出一條條狀似意粉的雪糕條,而雪糕意粉一共有四款口味。另外個人心水推介是即焗窩夫,口感香脆又有蛋香,塗點牛油加點蜜糖再配水果,美味得令人在最飽時也吃了兩塊。

既然說是有心思的自助餐,表演當然不只一個,繼即切黃鰭金槍魚後,接著八時半就有火焰焗雪山表演。廚師捧著超大型的焗雪山出場,再淋上點火酒,整個雪山著火的過程就在五六秒之間完成,到時記得要金睛火眼地看清楚和拍照。切開雪山中間有四種不同口味的雪糕,而每一件的份量都好大呢~

吃完首輪,時間接近7:30pm,是時間開始現切黃鰭吞拿魚刺身表演!同樣是吞拿魚,藍鰭與黃鰭繁殖期相差很遠,體形巨大的前者要8至12年才有繁殖能力,因此很快瀕臨絕種,黃鰭吞拿魚需1至2年便達到性成熟期,所以較能承受捕魚壓力,當然體形較小,這晚的是25kg。

相比新鮮即宰的赤身,我還是更愛吃龍蝦。試了半件本地龍蝦,的確肉質鮮美,但因體形較小,還是選吃波士頓龍蝦較安心。某程度上,選取體形較大的海產,也是支持可持續發展的原則,因為牠們除了易較飽肚,也可能已繁殖了下一代;吃幼魚/魚苗則盡量可免則免!

食物方面就真係不敢恭維喇。一心諗住原價六百幾蚊既貨色實有生蠔啦,點知係「冇」既。青口、龍蝦仔、凍蟹方面份量就真係好足喇,但口感真係非常之一般,入口既時候好似「白焯」咁一D味都冇!

魚生方面就不過不失啦!基本既野好似三文魚、吞拿魚呢D都有,勉強可以接受。但熱盆方面真係差左D,除左D燒牛肉、羊架之類之外,其他都係D好基本既大路野,乜野炒飯呀、車仔麵呀咁。呢D offer 如果喺3-4星酒店都叫做可以接受,但以一間金鐘咁頂級既酒店黎講你俾D咁既貨色我真係幾過份。

總括黎講-期望越大、失望越大。一心諗住黎五星級酒店食自助餐,但無諗到呢個原價六百幾蚊一位(星期日晚飯既價錢)既buffet夠膽死俾D咁既食物D客人。自問自己由金鐘至尖沙咀既自助餐都差唔多食過晒,真係好難搵到一間既食物總類同質素可以咁樣。如果唔係above average既服務質素,我真係會struggle 要俾個喊臉佢!

Full house on Friday night, need not wait for the table since advance booking had been made. However, tables were packed together, not spacious enough. We were seated behind a column.

Nothing special about the food; the variety, the taste and the food quality were all just average. I do expect a 5-star standard, or at least 4-star, should be met.

For seafood, lobsters, shrimps and whelk, etc. were offered, however the taste was not that impressive, very average and the quality was not the premium ones. For hot dishes, only the very common choices were offered, such as "siu mei", grilled pork, beef, etc. The cooking style was rather common without any special sauce, and honestly I could not recall any special memories about the food.

Food was refilled from time to time, but everyone would rush to grab the food very quickly.

Staff members are friendly and polite.

熱盤﹕ 比海鮮及冷盤多,有燒牛肉﹑燒羊腿﹑紅酒燴牛肉﹑蒸魚等 (燒牛肉&羊肉都"鞋"唔夠肉汁,紅酒燴牛肉)

甜品雪糕得兩個味(朱古力,青檸雪葩)﹑拿破崙蛋糕﹑tiramisu﹑蛋白球﹑芝士蛋糕﹑豆腐花﹑梳乎厘等,但8:30PM雪糕只剩朱古力味,而拿破崙蛋糕都無埋。(無咩好揀下,食咗蛋白球但太甜,梳乎厘未冧都係得半杯,返到檯面得番層皮....

寫咗以上咁多,你話好少食物種類咩,又未算..... 但無諗過喺呢啲5星酒店嘅buffet出現(4星都不如...)

餐廳似乎因為半價而要降低成本,貴些少嘅食物就要配給或唔再加。剩番啲咩,就等你清埋佢。最後9:45PM都走剩10檯客都無,侍應們都開始番緊檯...

雖然半價後係HK$344.80一位,但真心覺得唔值。差不多價錢嘅buffet而又好過佢嘅,大有酒店在喇﹗其實hea到咁,真係唔好勉強開到10:30PM,又要搞個半價,搞到間餐廳仲cheap晒囉~~
