churros was recommended by the staff here, she said its their top selling dessert and ppl always order it after meal. The chocolate was thick, rich and pudding-like, it was somewhere between hot chocolate and chocolate pudding, with a consistency that was just the right thickness to drip the churros intoa. The churros were light and crisp, very crisp on the outside and very tender, as well as very slightly eggy, on the inside.

chocolate mousse is always one of my top favourites. It's a one of a kind creamy smooth and sweet dessert that'll tickle all your taste buds! the silky smooth mousse texture, we went awww for couple of times. its so amazingly good, it is one of those dessert which u want to finish it all by yourself without sharing.

Complimentary bread was served after we placed our order.  The bread was rather bland, but tasted better with the rich olive oil.  Was a little bit disappointed that they didn't have balsmic vinegar (may be not a Spanish thing?).
Asparagus and Potato Soup (with Argentinian chimichanga sauce)
This was a well balanced soup - filling without feeling too heavy.  The herb based sauce gave it an extra aroma and flavour too.

過,想不到今天會在香港重遇。

吃飽後,朋友提起西班牙人吃午餐的習慣。原來西班牙人多數喜歡一早吃一頓豐富的早餐,午餐會少吃一點甚至不吃,黃昏時份跟三五知己一邊把酒一邊吃馳名的Tapas,到晚上近夜深時才正式吃晚飯。這一頓西班牙午餐,我想也切合了西班牙人的少吃文化吧。

we all love pork belly, this made the most wanted dish of the night. the presentation of this dish was extraordinary, everything was perfectly placed on the dish, pork belly with crispy skin on the bottom, tender caramelized apple and top with some herbs. The roasted pork belly that gave us beautiful succulent moist tender pork with light crisp crackling. To have it with apple sauce was just classic.

Fishermans Stew
Fantastic deeply flavored broth which is what it's all about. That was DELICIOUS!!!! So simple, wholesome and hearty. This was a big plate to share, tomato base stew with all sorta fresh seafood, clam, fish, prawn, mussel etc. clams and and mussels gave up their liquid for flavoring the broth. Crusty bread is an essential when it comes to broth, so glad they put a few there.

在香港和良久沒有接觸的西班牙菜重逢,無論是味道或是份量都是讓人會想再來嚐點別的想法,想必這是再次回港的時候和朋友聚會的地點了。

Mushrooms sautéed with cherry tomatoes & Jerez sherry vinegar $89- This dish smelt so good the moment it was served on our table, the aroma of the mushrooms was brought out by the vinegar during the cooking process, and it also gave the dish a lot flavors. The cherry tomatoes were extra juicy and sweet; I loved this dish so much I can still remember how it tasted like right now.

Tartar of salmon, traditional garnishes, smoked paprika & quail egg $95- A surprisingly fun and tasty plate of raw salmon, mixed with quail egg, and eight other herbs and ingredients. The entire dish was so complex but flavorful, the egg yolk gave the dish its creaminess and the tartar was gooey in texture. A very original dish they have here.

Seared scallops and caviar, grilled asparagus- The scallops were freshly chosen, seared until the top and sides were charred but the center was still soft and it did not require much chewing. The caviar gave the scallops more saltiness to it, which made the dish even more like a seafood dish. The asparagus had the char grilled flavor, the vegetable itself was crispy and easy to chew.

Iberico & Co. Paella, Spicy Chorizo and Seafood $338- The paella was a bit disappointing though, the rice was soggy maybe because there was too much sauce, and the spicy chorizo made the whole dish quite spicy (I’m not a spicy eater) therefore I wasn’t able to really taste the seafood.

5J Jamones Iberico dumplings with pea & thyme broth $95-Nicepork filling, heard that the Iberico pork is quite rare and is not served everywhere. The broth was rich but light. Baileys serradura with popcorn & peanut brittle $70- Even though I’m not a fan of Baileys but I liked this dessert a lot, the jar of serradura tasted somewhat like cream pudding with digestive biscuit crumbs in between layers. The peanut brittle popcorn tasted sweet and crunchy, which gave the serradura the exact texture it lacked. Nice pairing.

三人吃了兩款tapas兩款big plates便有飽意,轉戰甜點環節。Churros with 72% Coca Chocolate Sauce ($70),朱古力醬用上72%的黑朱古力製成,可可味果真甚為濃郁。可惜Churros本身不夠外脆內軟,是麵糊攪拌過度起筋太多,還是因模型坑紋太深令中心太幼影響嚼口,原因不得而知,只知把黑朱古力醬白白浪費了讓人好惋惜。

Pears poached in Rioja with cinnamon & ginger ice-cream ($70),紅酒煮過的梨子裡釀入了玉桂薑味雪糕。梨子吸滿紅酒,肉清爽香甜。別看它紅彤彤的模樣,酒味其實並不重。中間的雪糕玉桂味非常重,薑味倒是不明顯,但跟梨子味道融合,還是很不錯的一道甜點。

整體不俗,而且食物份量多,適合五至八人的聚餐,還是可以一試的。這裡有不少酒精飲料供選擇,只是剛好那天沒有很想喝,且沒特別吸引我的Sangria或Cocktail(它的Sangria都很像cocktail,不太傳統的),便未有一嚐。而且特別要提提各位相機先吃的朋友,這裡燈光明明沒很暗,但不知怎的很難拍照,要把ISO調到3200或6400才不會手震。大家做好準備,別費時失事拍照拍得熱食都涼了才吃啊!

Iberico Breakfast。早知這個早餐份量如此大, 就不點那個Iberico Granola了。以一個黑色鐵鑊盛著,有兩雙太陽蛋、兩款香腸、豬腩肉、雜菇、蕃茄和一大片多士。雖然份量多但整體味道一般,兩款香腸都太鹹,豬腩肉也有點乾,而且剩下大量油在鑊底,感覺太油膩。

不知是否點錯東西,旁邊客人點的好像都比自己的好,還是只像Iberico Breakfast一樣,好看但味道不怎麼樣呢?值得一讚的是女店員的服務態度親切,所以味覺上不算很滿足,但整體用餐感覺還不錯。

這是友人點的餐湯,餐湯份量非常強勁;遠處已經嗅到那truffle香;湯的濃稠度亦很強,非常厚身,creamy度十足但又不會很膩;薯仔味很香,當中還有點露筍香,這個湯很好喝,真材實料,非常喜歡。
而我則點了Pan Roasted Portuguese Chorizo,其實我有拍照的,但不知道是不是我拍不到或是不小心del了,反正現在照片消失了.....那只好聽我的形容吧。
其實我不太想點這個,但又想知道是甚麼樣子,所以就點了。其實就是洋蔥炒Chorizo,味道不算差,但沒甚麼驚喜,而且Chorizo非常鹹,一定要配洋蔥吃,但Chorizo份量太多,洋蔥不夠分,而且非常多油,吃到滿口都是油。

這是友人點的,其實我也想點這個的,不過這天身體不適,太炸似乎不太適合我,可惜。
試了一口,炸魚炸得又熱又脆又沒半點焦,實在炸得太好了;而魚肉很嫩,魚味亦鮮;而薯條亦很好,當中的薯比較實在,是我喜歡的口感,外脆又香脆,如果我不是病了,我定會點這個的,實在太不錯。

這是我點的豬扒,本來看到上面的炸魚,我已覺得份量大得誇張,估不到我的豬扒也一樣,份量非常勁!豬扒非常的厚身,厚度約2.5-3cm,大得像我的手一樣,而下面的薯蓉份量亦很足。以豬扒來說,這件不但份量大,味道都比其他店的好吃,質感不算很硬很嚡的那種,有時還嚐到些油脂,不會乾身,豬味亦算濃郁;而那薯蓉充滿了牛油香,質感不是幼細的那種,但都算不錯;我還很喜歡伴菜的小洋蔥,味道濃郁之餘又軟身。

最後便到甜品了,這churros炸得比較過火,太脆身,所以整個口感太硬,我比較喜歡那種外層很脆,還可以吃到內裡那軟稔的;但朱古力醬的味道不錯,很喜歡。
回到公司,才發覺自己忘了點咖啡,失策失策。這店給我的感覺很好,份量大之餘,味道不俗,環境亦不錯。來之前,本以為有西班牙美食,原來午市套餐不是Tapas,只有甜品有churros,幸好質素也不錯,以致我不會失望。有機會我還是會再來的。

We went to Iberico & Co. and were not disappointed.They didn't have "a small bowl of olives" on the menu. To get olives, you have to get sun-dried tomatoes and pickles as well. "Mojo dip" is actually a thing. It's olive oil with tons of garlic and some paprika and cumin. I'm not a huge cumin person myself, but my wife is partial to it. I don't think I could talk her out of ordering this if we came here again, so that's a solid recommendation. The bread's only "OK," but at $18 you're not really being screwed (except for the fact that other restaurants regularly give you free bread). B-

I'm a huge patatas bravas fan. You can't really get the recipe wrong, because there are so many varieties. These were very good-- really nicely cooked with an excellent sauce. I like 'em spicy, but alas, it was not to be. The mayo (excuse me, "garlic aioli") was served on the side, which I'm in favor of. The portion was a really good size for this-- sometimes in Spain they give you a huge pile of potatoes and you wonder how you're going to finish it and also eat other things. By far my favorite tapa, so much so that I have several packets of pimiento seeds I got in Barcelona that I'm planning to plant... any day now. This isn't on the regular menu, and I didn't notice it on the specials board until after I'd ordered. But I had to have it so I added it to the order. I thought they could have charred the peppers a little more, and maybe just a little more salt, but mostly I thought they were great. Check the specials when you're there and get them if they have them. A

By the time this dish came, I was running out of room in my stomach. I thought what I had of it was pretty good. The chorizo was crispy from the heavy metal pan they fried it in; the egg was nicely cooked and the other things in the pan-- onions and peppers-- tasted great. Wrapped up in a (Mexican) tortilla this would be a great breakfast. B+

The moral of the story is that the food here is pretty good. We got at least two excellent dishes, and one almost excellent one (the chorizo). With future trips and exploring around the menu, I think one could have a pretty amazing meal here for not all that much $. The portion sizes of the tapas are perfect, and the prices are reasonable. The sangria's pretty good and I've heard the house wine is too. B+

A friend suggested this restaurant and I was immediately intrigued as soon as I saw it was part of the Enoteca Group. We all decided to order Iberico Sangria Tinto to share as there were 4 of us and that arrived a few minutes later. Really tasty and had a nice balance - not too much red wine.

We all chose a dish or two from the Alacarte menu, including goats cheese stuffed peppers, hanger steak, pan fried morcilla, spicy meatballs, as well as a half peri-peri chicken and a cold meat sharing platter. For 4 people we ordered exactly the right amount of food.

The food came out at the right time, considering how many dishes we ordered. We only had to wait 5 minutes or so and 3 of our dishes arrived to get us started. The goats cheese stuffed peppers were delicious and not too salty or rich. The meat platter was a great choice as there was plenty to go around and went well with the bread. The spicy meatballs were perfect and had just the right amount of kick, without over-doing it.

Next was the pan fried morcilla with potato and that was my favorite dish of the night. Really tasty! The hanger steak was also another hit and melted in your mouth. The half peri-peri chicken was nice and juicy too. All in all, we were very happy with the food.

The service was OK. Later on we were asked if we wanted dessert or more drinks and we said no to both, but our server brought another jug of sangria. We weren't too bothered by this, but something to watch out for if you're planning on eating there on a Fri or Sat night.
