To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 估唔到係灣仔有咁多中東/印度野食，多到唔知點揀。駱克道其實有好多細細間既餐廳，適合外國人食。土耳菜係香港比較少見，而且佢又係halal food，適合同行的巴籍朋友。舖仔細細，雖然入舖時冇4人枱，但係侍應都唔嫌麻煩，即刻為我地搬枱，香港既食肆學下野啦。食物方面，主要提供kebab，肉類配飯之類既中東特色食物。我地3人+一個小朋友叫左︰芝士蛋pizza(唔知d蛋去左邊，都係香料濃郁既羊肉味)、串燒雞飯(燒烤雞味)、kebab羊肉飯(d羊肉幾好食，不過少d)，總體黎講...好味! 每個dish都係$45-55，平平地有咁好服務同唔錯既食物，係灣仔都難搵喇。

執野返工司前，同事瓜瓜叫，要吃kebab什麼什麼的，買他怕，倍他來吃。甫坐下，替他叫了羊肉kebab，洋蔥配又甜又酸的sauce，同事話羊肉幾削，切了件來試試，真的好削，生洋蔥不是不好，但中國人吃不慣其腥就是了，此品落在鬼佬口中一定大呼過癮，卻非偶那杯茶。反而小姐見同事靚仔健談，送來2杯土耳其茶是幾對口味的。走前問kebab如何，偶道：「凍了點」，面色起了180度變化，忠言總是逆耳的，好人難做。

專登走去試呢間野,無加一都食得過,但一試之後又係無下次.1.Lamb Rolled (轉燒羊肉卷)$45~一碟二件,都幾好食,唔會好多醬在內,羊肉份量都OK,羊味好食兼有點羶,但個卷只係微暖.2.Minced lamb pizza (土耳其羊肉pizza)$45~唔係圓形的,是欖形的.個pizza好薄,但唔夠熱,因為佢地唔係即刻焗的,係翻叮的.羊肉有點辣,整體唔好食.3.土耳其咖啡$20~好細杯,似expresso size.麻麻.

Tried Istanbul Express' set lunch on Monday afternoon. The place is disgustingly fly-infested as I saw SIX OF THEM AT THE SAME TIME. Is this supposed to be part of an authentic Turkish dining experience? I hope not. As for food, the lamb pizza I ordered actually tastes quite good, but the portion is TOO small to justify for the high price.

I STRONGLY ADVISE ALL PLEASE DO NO GO TO THIS RESTARUANT!! WHAT A TERRIBLE SERVICE AND FOOD.

I went there and attempted to try their foods all because i read about the comments in openrice. Another reason why i wanna try is becuase my friend went to Turkey few weeks ago, and the pictures were so nice, so i had an urge to try turkish foods.

Anyways..let's talk about my experience.

It was a thursday around 10:00 pm. First of all, there is no greeting and no one show us to the table..and when we sit down, We found that the place was quite nice and neat, but the air con is not enough for that hot humid night.

We spend like a few minutes browsing the menu and still can't decide what to order, so we asked the waitress about what is good....do u know what she answer? she said," sorry i have never tried any of the dish before!!". and the waitress seems to be drugged...not responding to any question we further asked.

Ok..fine..then we ordered ourselves then. We ordered a lamb donar with rice, and one lamb pizza. The lamb pizza came first, and it was just ok.....(quite spicy)..then, the lamb donar came. Guess what we found in the rice...?!?!?!?!?

A SCREW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(later we found out, the screw had fallen of from the rice cooker!!!)

We immediately told the dumbass waistress about it, and she just helplessly went to his Turkish boss and told him about it!! NO FORMAL APOLOGY IS GIVEN AT ALL...HE STILL TRY TO EXPLAIN WHAT HAPPEN TO ABOUT THE SCREW FALLING FROM THE RICE COOKING LID...AND GIVE ME EXCUSES!!!

Lucky that we did not have a bite on the rice...if my teeth got chipped..i will definitely sue this restaurant for dental expenses!!! and also if i swallowed it, i will sue his ass off for operation fee!!!

So everyone, if u don't wanna have a screw in the stomach churning around, please don't even try to go in such stupid, smelly, impolite, dumbass waitress and boss restaurant!

    Yesterday I tried this restaurant. I ordered a chicken doner with chips.It didnt taste as nice as i expected, but rather plain, the manager told me that turkish doners do not have sauce.But anyway the chicken tasted a bit dry and crunchy, and i could feel it scratched my throat when i swallowed it.The chips were also overdone, or they had been re-fried.I also tried the native apple tea, I couldnt really taste any tea in it, but it just tasted like hot apple juice.

    finally try out this restaurant which was opened some time ago. It was larger than as seen from outside.Their lunch set includes a soup, main and a drink. I ordered a chicken kebah with rice. It tastes good and the chicken kebah comes in generous portion.It's a pity that they dont hv apple tea in stock, I really miss the apple tea in turkey.No +10% for this restaurant. The lunch set range from $4x - $5x. a bargain indeed

    要參加公式除夕晚會，太座去左set頭，我當然要食少少野，因為果種場合通常講多過食，唔會有野到肚，打定底絕無損失。見這裡有間新開的卡巴店，幾新淨又有得坐，就來幫襯。同名在尖沙咀都有舖頭，不過這裡就更企理。聞著串燒羊肉的香味，就叫了個羊doner的套餐。前菜可選湯或沙律，不想渴到一肚水，就要了沙律。原不寄厚望，但賣相又不錯，除了不少的生菜絲及蕃茄粒，還有醃青椒、洋蔥及青橄欖在內，灑上點香料粉，都是一個清新又幾豐富的頭盤；羊doner要了飯，除了烤羊肉又是一堆沙律菜在旁，幾夠份量。先吃羊，烤起上來有點乾，是意料中事，不過味道不錯，尤其吃得到帶肥膏的部份就更加香，是有一貫的水準。飯還加了菘子仁，不過味道卻沒有預期中的香味，都算及格。套餐連汽水一罐，45蚊，都唔算很貴，下次來要試試其他食物，因為望落都幾對辦又唔錯。

    上個星期lunch見到呢間好似新開既食店，第一時間飛左去試。我對呢d中東包好有興趣，佢叫gyros或kebab都好，我都百吃不厭。今次試左一個lamb roll (即kebab)加一個唔係diet既lemon coke ($45)，羊肉滑而有汁，個包好有當地feel。食完個包好似覺得重想試多一d野，就叫左一個叫lahmacun 既東東(即伊斯坦堡pizza掛)，薄麵包皮上有一丁點肉，我張個送既greek salad中d生菜放左響上面一齊食，都ok架，送多支水($40)。冇加一，全店有十幾個位可以坐。
