食店是吃西班牙菜的餐廳。裝修是走casual style, 除了牆上掛上幾幅西班牙風格的畫之外,便沒有其他特色可談。不過整列的一邊都是窗,早上來應該很夠光猛,晚上到來便相較失色。

不思議事情通常都是夜晚發生的......

七不思議事件之一:


有井水英雄便會喝酒,這是約定俗成。還未看食物餐牌,井水英雄便急不及待先看酒牌點了一支白酒。點白酒的過程很複習,我們先向侍應生A點酒,侍應生A再向侍應生B耳語一番,侍應生B又去拿來一酒牌再向部長參詳研究一番最後才正式下單。不幸的是,我們等了差不多廿分鐘最後都不見白酒的踪影....


"可能要先冷却一下" 井水英雄還想替食店辯解一下.....(不過之後有太多的不思議本,井水都放棄為食店說好話了) 



結果等了又等,我們已仔細看完餐牌去到點菜環節。

Al la carte 的選擇也不少,不過我們是夜最後選擇了食店的set dinner. Set dinner 係二人份量。可從十款tapas中選擇三款,再加餐湯,主菜,甜品及餐飲。$560 一個二人餐在中環區一點都不算貴。有趣的是,這個二人餐只在星期日至星期三供應,莫非星期四五六只可散點?

我們四人點了兩個二人餐,可以選擇六款tapas, 很是不錯。與此同時,亦發現跟set dinner 可以每人$35的價錢點一杯餐酒。既然之前點的餐酒失去芳踪,我們亦索性叫侍應生hold住之前點的該支白酒,每人先來一杯跟套餐另加$35的白酒.....

點過菜後侍應生亦送來麵包。

麵包盛在一個布袋送上來。相對其他食店那些冷冷的麵包,這兒的麵包勝在摸上手時仍是暖暖軟軟的,伴牛油吃很是不錯。

温暖麵包的竅門,來自布袋內溫熱的石頭。這種做法數年前在一間叫798 Unit&Co 的食店見過。(回家翻查資料,發現原來798與JAR遞屬同一集團,不過798已經於年前結業)

來的是Serrano火腿。雖然同樣是西班牙火腿,Serrano(白毛豬)的品種不及Iberico(黑毛豬)來得名貴,亦欠缺了黑毛豬那種油香及果香,不過總算切得夠薄夠軟,吃落帶鹹香肉味,伴哈密瓜一甜一鹹倒亦不錯。

餐湯份量不小,應該是單點的正常份量。蘑菇味濃郁之餘亦很夠creamy, 加了少許松露油在湯上,溫熱的暖湯滲出陣陣松露香,作為餐湯絕對水準以上。

七不思議事件之二:

大夥兒聚舊談得興起,用餐進度自然慢了點。Tapas還未吃完之際,主菜已經到場。沒問題吧?桌上應仍有足夠空間容納主菜。怎料侍應生像是覺得主菜上場前應先作清場,二話不說便拿起我仍未吃完的Tapas準備拿走!!OMG, 效率不用忽然又這樣高吧?若不是我們加以阻止,兩碟Tapas便要提早離場。


七不思議事件之三:

好了好了,兩個二人套餐四人各自點了自己主菜,主菜亦正式送來。長通粉,好,是胖虎英雄點的。結果呢?侍應生不道一聲把長通粉放在食桌正中央就走了........目定口呆.....nothing to say.....

份量頗大的長通粉,正合胖虎英雄的口胃。

鵝肝松露長通粉賣相不錯。長通粉都掛滿了松露醬,至於豐腴的鵝肝醬,早已溶入整碟通粉當中。

沒有機會品嚐這道通粉 (胖虎英雄,獨食難肥呀!),但從胖虎滋味滿足的樣子,知道這道意粉應該做得不錯。

之前的蒜片蝦tapas做得很是不錯,在這裡的煎大蝦亦同樣出色,吃得井水英雄很是滿意。 反而石斑柳肉質感覺硬實,魚鮮味稍嫌不足。

威靈頓牛柳是五成熟,伴有精選薯菜。

威靈頓牛柳算是鬼佬界的功夫菜,尤其當要處理客人對生熟度有不同要求的牛柳,要保持外面酥皮的香脆度之餘入要確保內裏牛柳不會過生及過熟,時間的掌握很是重要。

最令人驚喜的是食店用上紫薯泥作伴碟菜。紫薯有豐富營養價值,味道既香且甜,亦能中和酥皮的油膩感,是整碟菜式的點睛之作。

七不思議事件之四:

井水英雄除非滴酒不沾,否則小酌一杯開了酒興便絕不會夠喉。好吧,那就叫侍應生把之前hold住的白酒重新送來吧!


結果是,侍應生就像重新啓動放空程序一樣,點了的白酒遲遲不見踪影,我們的主菜也差不多吃了一大半,總不能等主菜吃完才上白酒去配甜品吧?


無可奈何,又叫部長跟進了一下。部長隔了一陣子才過來對我們説要點的那隻酒沒有存貨。吓!沒辦法,唯有點第二隻牌子的白酒。第二隻牌子的白酒終於送來,還安排了盛酒的酒桶,像樣點兒了是不是?...........sorry...不是!!

甜品時間。來到的是brownie伴雲尼拿雪糕。甜品比較普通,雪糕不夠滑,brownie潤濕感亦不夠, 很明顯就是套餐甜品的格式,不能要求太高。

奇異的地方是,甜品尚未來到前侍應生已替我們換過餐具,左匙羹右叉子,一派大氣格局,先給我們一個期待,到底會來個甚麼樣的甜品呢?

一行四人點了熱檸茶,熱咖啡等餐飲,侍應生今次終於學懂了發問,不會盲目把餐飲放下就跑掉算了。

熱飲上後,我們do re mi fa四人都覺得很不對勁,但侍應生自我感覺非常良好,把熱飲放下供我們慢用就走了。


我們㸃的全是熱飲,來的竟然是四杯熱飲搭四杯糖漿!!


糖漿是跟凍飲才會上的,這是飲料基本常識吧!怎可能出現這樣的狀況!真是令人瞠目結舌.....


用餐已到尾聲,大夥兒真的無氣力計較了,就當我們到了EQ訓練營吧!



七不思議事件之七:

結帳時刻,情況亦是一塌糊塗。明明已向侍應生示意埋單,怎料等了良久也遲遲不見結帳單的出現。最後再向部長反映,店方方好像如夢初醒有客人正等待結帳...…



其實食店已開張了一段很長的時間,若以這種服務水平對待西方客人,難堪一點去說還真是一種侮辱。我不知食店是否最近易手還是全部侍應生於年初七人日放大假所以請生手替工幫忙的單一偶發事件,看見食店開飯評價不俗,但這夜的奇幻經歷,真的不敢恭維.....

受七不思議事件影響,這夜晚宴部份的食物好像都在背脊骨滾落下去一樣,滿足度大打折扣。還幸好厨房把關了得,否則今夜真的要狠下心腸給食店一個負評。

還是再來點酒來舒舒悶氣吧!井水英雄酒癮大發。

有井水英雄的夜晚便是不夜天。幸好身處中環,隨便便可找到酒吧繼續尋歡作樂去,可惜肯恩英雄翌日還有要務在身,不然一定捨命相陪。

My friend and I came here to see what the hype was all about this resturant. I was surprised to see how cozy it was when stepping into the restaurant. It had several beautiful paintings on the wall to create artistic and relaxing vibes.Two small buns were served before the actual lunch. There were lots of mixed mushrooms in this dish and they were perfect sautéed
. The mixed mushrooms were definitely the focal point of this dish added a beautiful texture to the pasta. The linguini well absorbed the rich mushroom flavour. However, it was slightly overcooked and thus it wasn't al dente enough
. Although this pasta dish was called linguini with mixed mushrooms and diced ham, I couldn't find any hams in it for some reason. Anyway, the garnishing asparaguses were alright. I had nothing much to comment.

Don't be fooled by the picture. The original chicken kebab was in fact really small. We felt like costing us HKD$118 for two small chicken kebabs were a rip-off. It was more like a snack. Anyway, it had quite a lot of diced tandoori chicken filled inside and the tortilla was pretty crispy. It sounded like a dream come true, but the taste of it was a bit bland and lack of spices to enhance its flavour
. The good thing was the peachy sauce on the side. It was sweet and sour in taste...Indeed very appetizing!!!


After having both the dishes, we found the restaurant didn't live up the hype at all. In fact, it was disappointing
! Hope to see some improvements in the future!

最期待的, 要數到這味主菜西班牙大鍋飯. 除了必有的海鮮之外, (面頭鮮蝦更是加大碼版本!!) 同時添加黑松露在飯中, 芳香樸鼻,雖然飯粒有點過腍, 但整體飯粒夠入味, 挽回不少分數.

餐廳在二樓,地方很大,有open kitchen ,看看餐牌,價錢不太貴,最最最重要開白酒紅酒香檳都是平得很,如果你想扮ifc 張智霖葉朗程開酒食飯溝女仲要約係擺花街附近的地段,上有酒店,下有酒吧,大約這是錯不了的選擇,飲醉番唔到屋企就係酒店訓吧。

這間西班牙餐廳走semi fine dining 的路線,很多tapas 的價錢相宜,因此我地一大班人食左好多,試左好多。

Garlic bread with tomato ,蒜蓉包香脆而煙韌,配和濃郁而大大舊的蕃茄蓉,甜美而配合,一冷一熱如冰火般水乳交融,是很開胃的tapas 。

Classic Cesar ,雖然名字是經典既代表,凱撒沙律係西式類菜式愛將,那裡都是你,不過這裡配上的是煙三文魚,平時吃的是煙肉,但今換了另一個主角,煙三文魚香味四射,入口有甘甜的感覺,加上其自製的Cesar 汁,不得了。另外一個shrimp salad 都係不錯的選擇,特別係蝦又新鮮又清爽,大大隻,加上生菜,磨菇和芝士的混合下,味道比平凡的外表相距很遠。

Manila clams,香草和白酒做base煮呢個很少在外邊見到的馬尼拉蜆,每次吃這些蜆我都會先飲個湯試味,一試便知龍與鳳,當然這個不負所望,淡淡的酒充實香草的配對得出色,蜆肉肥美,加上麵包沾上其蜆汁,是另一個出色的菜式。

然後就打大佬了,roasted suckling pig ,一來已經香氣撲鼻,一如西班牙菜做這個必定出色,這裡也不例外,皮chop chop 聲咁鬆脆,油份不高,但那個豬肉的香,實在充滿係舊豬肉中,這個可以說是必吃的菜式。

Seafood paella ,吃西班牙菜點少得海鮮飯呢,大大隻的蝦加上青口,大蜆等,海鮮都係新鮮無比,特別係蝦仲要用芝士焗過,海鮮飯的質素不是平常好濕個種,反而係較為乾身,兩三下就吃完,於是再試試另一個paella , mixed mushroom paella , 這個更為好味,清新的各種不同菇類混合於飯中,最欣喜的係吃完咁多肉類後有多種既菜類清清腸胃。相對來說,我還是喜歡磨菇海鮮飯多一點,可能今晚海鮮吃得太多,簡單就是美。

Linguini shrimp,是我今晚最喜歡的一個主角,雖然又係蝦,但今次的蝦沒有什麼特別調味,藍蝦的質素非常鮮豔,爽口,沒有如海鮮飯用不同的汁來主調,簡單用蒜和橄欖油這兩個最佳拍檔來煮呢個扁幼麵,麵質應該是自家製,因那texture 令我想起了Jamie Italian 那些意粉,扁身的幼麵裡包含了蝦的鮮味,橄欖油的香和蒜的狂或野,這個絕對是今晚的壓卷之作。

吃完咁多,其實肚已經再沒有多餘位置,不過朋友說這裡的甜品做得精美,於是便點一兩個來吃。cream brûlée ,是我最鍾愛的甜品之一,這裡當然是合乎水準,不過驚喜的是bread pudding ,焗得鬆化,味道香而入口完全不會覺得太甜或太膩,我不太熱衷甜品,但這個也為我帶來驚喜。

非常滿意的一餐,配合sparking wine 的微酒精影響,在中環看夜色特別動人,可惜的是今晚不是如另外一枱男孩一樣與美相伴,唔係再飲野直落真係好方便,不過呢個餐廳已經是我的check list 之一。幸好,第一次不是你,如果那次我來farewell 同事,大概我會錯過一間咁精彩既西班牙餐廳。我的同事經我推薦後去左,不約而同都覺得這裡環境一流,係溝女既兵家必爭之地,環境有軍事優勢,食物酒精等糧倉又出色,各位兵家如果你們遇上了第一次不是你咁靚女的蔣家旻,請你用盡所有方法約佢帶佢黎啦。

以往來過一次,食後感到食物水準不穩,店家也好像有點忙亂,吃罷沒甚印象便不了了之。闊別大半年,這裡從外表及裝潢看來似乎沒變,氣氛依舊輕鬆,雖有個別食品一般,但整體的做得不錯,食物水準是提升了,也不再感到忙亂。

一個個三角形的麵包像個小山丘,口感鬆脆,不過底層的布甸不夠結實,但蛋香十足。反而旁邊的雪糕搶了鏡,是甚少有機會吃的牛油核桃,雪糕香濃幼滑,而且帶點焦糖味,加上核桃的口感,非常美味。

大概是早兩年的西班牙之旅未能實現,在港吃西班牙菜的次數增加了,是要彌補那份失落感吧!今次來到中環的 Jar,餐廳內有西班牙舞蹈為主題的掛畫,紅白黑的餐椅,柔和的燈光,很有情調!先來一個蕃茄蒜蓉包 ($55) ,清新鮮味的蕃茄蓉和香脆的蒜蓉包是西班牙菜不可少的,但我還是喜歡吃牛油麵包多一點,哈哈!還記得上次吃西班牙菜就愛上吃蒜片,今晚也點了幾個有蒜片的,先來一個蒜蓉橄欖油牛柳片 ($88),牛柳片鮮嫩柔軟,然而蒜蓉和橄欖油的味道較突出,牛味偏淡。而我就喜歡西班牙八爪魚配蒜蓉橄欖油 ($188),八爪魚夠鮮味,令我吃不停。而蒜片蝦 ($70) 的味道比想像中淡,幸而蝦肉爽彈,挽回不少分數。自家製蟹餅 ($188) 外脆內軟,內有絲絲的蟹肉,而放在蟹餅上的蟹籽,令人感覺吃日式蟹餅呢。另一香口小吃是炸金文畢配香草蕃茄 ($75) ,香脆的外面,內裡是半溶的金文畢芝士,味道香濃,咸香不過火,不算芝士控的我也很愛吃,如果不想太熱氣,就加以香草蕃茄中和一下吧!估不到白酒煮馬尼拉蜆 ($118) 可以那麼鮮甜,再以那麥包片沾上白酒醬汁同吃,很好的配搭,而我對那翠綠鮮嫩的蘆薈更有興趣,不停吃呢!顧名思義

Spaish food in HK is not those in Spain. These tapas were double sized and priced. They are still reasonably priced, but not welcoming man who look for a drink before going home LOL

In spain this dish should presented with a pot of extremely hot oilve oil, garlic n shrimps shizzling inside, watch them from raw to cooked. Well, not so possible in HK i guess.

We order this paella more or less because of the bisque and luckily it delivered well. With the nice favour at the base, rice cooked well in a way so call humid but not moist.Prawn on top is finally prawn and the shells are managed just well. Dont forget to juice out the lemon before taste, it's totally two dishes!

Seabass. What a nice thick cut pan-sealed a crispy skin. a soft press by fork can sperate it flake by flake. It automatically melt once it land your tonuge and the fish oil explose in the mouth. Just tell yourselve fish oil is health oil.

香煎智利鱸魚柳($280)
作為魚癡又怎能錯過?鱸魚外皮煎得香脆,肉質滑溜無比,並滲透著美妙的魚油,足見廚師掌握火喉功夫準繩。

鱸魚壓著香滑的薯蓉,旁邊圍著青瓜、車厘茄、黑橄欖,並唧了幾圈黑醋汁,建構成一幅美侖美奐的圖畫。

煮得煙煙韌韌的扁意粉,沾上橄欖油後變得潤澤,並帶些蒜蓉獨有香氣。挺喜歡那束翠綠的露筍,顏色亮麗入口爽鮮,配合烤得有點焦香的大蝦,健康清怡,可是整體來說味道偏淡。

焗麵包布甸配牛油核桃雪糕($60)
頂層的麵包鬆脆可口,底層則軟綿綿富蛋香,一次過試齊兩種質感。熱辣辣的布甸旁邊,乃涼透心的雪糕,冰冷與熱情交織一起,衝擊味蕾。

雪糕並非一般口味,而是少見的牛油核桃,雪糕香濃幼滑,粒粒核桃帶嚼勁,煞是好吃。

黑班牙黑毛豬肉丸肉香濃重,配鮮甜的茄醬味道挺好的。不過一切開時看到粉紅色的豬肉確實讓小妹傻眼,經追問後大廚指黑毛豬是可以生吃的;據小妹得知,平日常吃到的風乾火腿是因水份全失才較難有細菌滋生,但黑毛豬不也是通山跑、等級較高的豬隻嗎?為何會沒有細菌呢?我這鄉下妹真的一頭霧水,還是不管啦,反正幾美味,冒著肚子生蟲的危機硬嚥吧。

一直認為烤乳豬是一道極之殘忍的菜式,奈何其肉質確是不能與較成熟的豬肉相提並論,這味西班牙烤乳豬皮像紙般薄,肉質嫩嫩的,邪惡卻讓人心動,若多一點調味的話,肉香或會更突出。

本來吃罷了主菜經已很飽,打算對甜點投降,但第一款上檯的竟是小妹最愛的Apple Crumble 和 Bread & Butter Pudding!我也不想增肥的⋯我也是被迫的好不好⋯

Banoffi Pie 以牛油味濃又鬆化的餅底,盛著香蕉和輕如泡沫的忌廉,再加半隻表面脆脆的Caramelised Banana ,它外表平凡,卻很有水準,值得一試啊。

這夜的吃到西班牙菜式,無可否認與傳統的大有不同,甜點環節更沒有一款是西班牙式的,可惡!不過論食物質素和環境,以西餐廳來說也算性價比高,是個頂癮好地方。雖然許廷鏗說要「趁著有些本錢簽多一些賬單」,但為了小妹的巴塞買樓移居夢,還是好好收斂敗家性格,吃罷了這餐便好好慳家去!
