This is a hidden treasure in town... offered parking for guest... though you may need to spend some time to find it... but totally worth it... Dinner set offered here is of premium quality, and I really like the way they did it... simple but very good quality ... owner was a French Chef, and so, spending all their time and effort to make every guest understand the true favour of French Cuisine... and this is the 2nd time they try to launch it... followed their success in Yuen Long... Every dinne
Every dinner set comes with a soup and a starter... and finished by a nice homemade dessert after the main...
I have tried the beetroot soup... very nice one... rich in beetroot taste (not usual), but not too thick... and the feeling was quite special as I have never tasted anything similar before... light and rich... very interesting... Then it followed by the famous dish - French Snail... very nice touch as well, as you can feel the careful selection of the ingredient and the not-too-hot oven finishing... nothing get burned with juicy meats inside every one of the shell... lovely...
Fillet in Wellington style... a perfect way to do it as the fillet itself is strong in taste already, but when it is baked with the pastry surrounded, the steak itself can still be juicy with a tender texture... how can it be.. and don't forget the potato slides (instead of mash), a very nice touch to keep the nice potato taste, with a great match of cream and butter... I really enjoyed it, too bad that I can only have a slide as this is the main dish for my partner...
While the specialty of the night is this Barrcuda... freshly by air from French every Thursday, and so, usually not that many left if you can come on Saturday or Sunday, better call to reserve one if you like it... the fish was slowly baked with sea salt covered ... keep the juice of the fresh, while adding a bit of salty taste into the fish... very warm dish to enjoy in the Winter... and easy for non-fish bone expert, like myself...
Home made dessert, surely won't disappoint anyone, as dessert itself was invented by French people, and the way they treat the dessert is very careful and nice... this is the Mont Blanc Cone... quite big in size, but mainly foam in cameral and nice eggy sauce...
While this one is the very unique dessert that can give you a perfect finishing... stronger in sweet taste, not only rich in cameral taste, but also rich in texture... I have spent at least 20 mins to slowly enjoy it... bit by bit... slowly... what is a better way to enjoy the Chef's effort... take it slowly... everyone !!
Highly recommended for those who loves to enjoy a private moment and fine dinning in a reasonable price range. I want to be their VIP over time...by visiting here more... Well Done !!
