朱古力餡味道則比較濃,雖不是很純的朱古力,但可可味相對較搶。質感上亦較為企身,不是吉士狀,伴牛角酥來吃不太順喉,硬鬥硬的感覺。

同樣地,亦有烘過的砂糖表面,同時又有少許的甜味栗子蓉,更突出主題。
栗子味的餡亦是吉士餡,栗香濃郁沉厚,不失適量的甜美。質感同樣幼滑可人,沒有暇疵。

芝士味不見了,反而多了芒果新味!

自從銅鑼灣開了新商場後就牽起了牛角包熱潮,我早前也瞅瞅熱鬧分別吃了樓上和樓下兩店。樓上是指Le Salon,在餐廳外有一小角可供客人買了牛角包和飲品後坐下食。雖然是坐在走廊,但位置在盡頭一邊,都幾自成一角。這裡沒有原味的牛角包,全部都是有流心餡的。我們選了榛子味和朱古力味的牛角包,和兩杯latte。牛角包都焗得金黃色,聞起來亦有牛油香。兩款的酥皮都鬆脆,層次感不錯。而餡我就較愛榛子味,很香亦不會過甜。在這商場內,說到牛角包,無論質感和味道我都較喜歡這間店的出品。如果有原味的話,相信我會更喜歡。至於咖啡,喝起來是有淡淡咖啡香,但不過同時亦帶淡淡苦味,不是我們杯咖啡。

Le Salon因牛角包而高據Open Rice的榜首小妹當然要試試她的出品啦!兩次於週末七點多來到都因售罄而吃不到牛角包惟有在平日的中午來試試看這次終於買到了!由於我不吃焦糖 就試試較特別的Tiramisu味吧!不至於燙手 是暖 容易入口的溫度一口咬下去 果然是非常鬆脆(特別是頭尾)有很多層的質感吃多幾口 就吃到Tiramisu的涵料了!不太甜 很香濃的咖啡味口感味道都值得一讚不過 有好的 也有不足的地方(看你個人的口味而言)對於小妹來說 這裡的牛角包實在是太油膩從包裝已經看到滲油的現象中午吃完一個 飽到晚上雖然好吃 但那份油膩感還是讓我扣了她很多分如果跟2個人一起分吃可能會好一點$20一個不算便宜 但我認為她的出品較坊間的大有不同總算值得一試

由於我不吃焦糖 就試試較特別的Tiramisu味吧!
不至於燙手 是暖 容易入口的溫度
一口咬下去 果然是非常鬆脆(特別是頭尾)
有很多層的質感
吃多幾口 就吃到Tiramisu的涵料了!
不太甜 很香濃的咖啡味
口感味道都值得一讚

不過 有好的 也有不足的地方(看你個人的口味而言)
對於小妹來說 這裡的牛角包實在是太油膩
從包裝已經看到滲油的現象
中午吃完一個 飽到晚上

雖然好吃 但那份油膩感還是讓我扣了她很多分
如果跟2個人一起分吃可能會好一點

$20一個不算便宜 但我認為她的出品較坊間的大有不同
總算值得一試

Located on 13/F of Hysan Place, Le Salon offers two dining concepts – a French restaurant comprising a dining room that seats 40 people and a VIP room that seats up to 10 people, and a separate café-style Croissanterie that opens to the mall and serves gourmet croissants and premium coffees.

Le Salon means “the living room” in French, and the restaurant lives up to its name with an intimate and cosy setting and black and white tones which exude a sense of serenity.

The menu of Le Salon Restaurant offers a humble selection of no-nonsense, classic French dishes. Even though some of my friends found the dinner menu at Le Salon overpriced, a great-value set lunch is available throughout the week at $188 for 2 courses and $268 for 3 courses. The staff were warm and gracious when I visited the restaurant and my overall dining experience was enchanting.

(2) The waiter recommended the Burgundy Coq au Vin (i.e. chicken in wine) to us, and it turned out to be a winner. In traditional recipes, an old rooster or cock (“coq“) would be used as its flesh has strong flavours and is sturdy enough to stand up to hours of simmering. Le Salon re-invents this ancient recipe by using spring chicken. Even though the flavouring of this dish could be stronger, we enjoyed the smooth texture and the mild, natural taste of the spring chicken.

(4) The Brûlée Waffle with Strawberries & Fresh Cream is one of the must-try items at Le Salon. Indeed, it had a layer of creme brûlée caked over the waffle grid! I loved this dessert as two of my favourites have been ingeniously combined into one - the doughey waffle worked very well with the silky creme brûlée!

(5) Another delightful dessert was the Lemon Tart with Mascarpone Cream. The interesting thing about this tart was that it only had a very thin coat of lemon curd, and underneath that was a layer of sponge cake. The ingredients were well judged, and the whole combination held together very nicely.

Since its opening, Le Salon Croissanterie has been boasting a steady clientele who have come from all over Hong Kong to get hold of this ultimate indulgence. The croissants are available since 11am, and are often sold out early in the afternoon!

We tried a chestnut croissant which was topped with candied chestnuts and filled with chestnut cream, and also a caramel croissant which was seasoned with Maldon sea salt and filled with toffee cream.

While we enjoyed every mouthful of this buttery, flaky goodness, at times we found the filling a tad too sweet. Moreover, even though the croissants are freshly baked in-house, a cream filling has to be piped into them which means that by the time you eat them they are no longer piping hot.

Verdict: I prefer good, honest croissants that are unseasoned and come straight from the oven!

(8) Surely, it would be wrong not to order a cup of fresh coffee ($15) at Le Salon Croissanterie to go with the lovely croissants.

Even though some aspects of the cooking could be fine-tuned, Le Salon Restaurant et Croissanterie is a fantastic place in Causeway Bay for fun, exciting French fare. We are really delighted about the opening of this deservedly popular new restaurant!

For the service, last time, a girl served me and I can remember that the service was not too good. Without smile. No magic words. This was what I expected for a busy and famous shop. (But not acceptable for me
) But this time, surprisingly, the service is good. A male cashier, cheerful and nicely. therefore, happy customers

Caramel:
Surprisingly, not too sweet, crispy croissant . The caramel and the croissant matched well...but on the other hand, I can't taste much caramel. The taste of croissant has slightly covered up the caramel taste. But I still like it.

Chesnut:
Even less sweet that caramel taste. Similarly, the chesnut taste was slightly covered up by the sweetness of croissant. Made me think that the croissant alone itself is good enough without the filling. And the filling seems unneccessary. But as I am greedy, I will always want one with filling
But of course, they are generally delicious~


Tiramitsu:
For dessert, tiramitsu must be the least that I will choose. So I am also surprised that I chose tiramitsu croissant . Actually, I just don't like the texture of tiramitsu, but I don't mind the taste. I think they won't simply put the whole tiramitsu inside the croissant, so I chose that. (And it's new, that's why I chose it) Oh, surprisingly, this is so far, my most favourite one. I can say it just tastes like coffee filling. As I like coffee, I like this too~
Unlike the previous two (Caramel & Chesnut). The coffee stands out from the croissant, while it matches well with it. I can eat the croissant as a whole, while can taste both coffee and the croissant taste. So delicious~
p.s. the tiramitsu croissant looks really nice (you can see in the photo), just looks like the tiramitsu, with coffee powder on top.


Anyone has tried the mango one?? Please do write a comment. I really want to know!

輕輕的咬了一口, 卡滋的一聲, 外層一塊一塊的碎裂,
而且還掉了數塊麵包碎屑在地上, 希望沒有人看到我的醜態(笑~~).

它的橫切面是一個圈一個圈的, 咬下去很鬆化.
整體來說, 這個牛角包是外脆內鬆的質感.

牛油香而不膩, 不像英式甜品的牛油的厚重感.

牛角包的頂部有一層焦糖, 脆脆的甜甜的,
就像cream brulee上的焦糖,
一種食物, 兩種甜品的質感, 怪不得能俘虜女孩子的心

焦糖內餡是常溫的, 不是熱騰騰和流心的, 令我有點失望,
(如果是流心的, 必定會更出彩!)
焦糖醬甜度適中, 只是在出色的牛角包底下, 只能淪為配角.

翌日, 把栗子味牛角包翻熱了, 想不到隔了一天仍然能保鬆脆,
只可惜栗子內餡太過甜, 果真有法式甜品甜死人不償命的特點
甜度重令栗子味不夠突出, 和焦糖的味道沒甚分別.

但下次我會點一個原味的牛角包(不知道有沒有?), 反正內餡一點也不突出.

我還想試一下Le Salon Restaurant et Croissanterie餐廳,
沒錢買個Chanel包包, 唯有花兩三百元感受一下Chanel式的低調奢華,

看到openrice的好評 趁有空檔也去了hysan這次買的是焦糖口味 結果有點失望牛角包只是微暖 裡面的焦糖也有點少(可能個人喜歡較澎湖的感覺)或許下次是要到樓下的urabn bakery比較比較一下
