Nino's Cozinha is a tiny Portugese restaurant tucked away on the higher end of Ship street just off Queens rd east (as opposed to the lower end which is between Queens rd east and Johnston road).The restaurant probably only fits about 20 people, so it really is essential to book. The restaurant probably only fits about 20 people, so it really is essential to book. The place was tightly packed when we went. There was a list of interesting tapas and small dishes to try, but being a working day lunch we opted for the set lunch. The crab and leek soup was a milky and surprisingly brothy soup - we were expecting something a little creamier. That said, it was light and fragrant and they were generous with the crab meat.

The main course was a generous serving of oven grilled sole marinated with herbs - I tasted cumin and perhaps parsley. It sat on a bed of cabbage leaves cooked al denta and a lovely hot tomato salsa sauce.

The highlight was really the apple pie dessert, which is probably the best apple pie I have ever tasted. Warm out of the oven, the pastry was light and just the right level of sweetness. No side ice-cream required - its too good on its own.

很喜歡到這裡食飯,價錢是略貴,但水準穩定,味道不錯。中秋飯局,向朋友推介,怎知節目訂位十分爆滿,要加開酒窖位置,所謂酒窖,不是你想像中有個大木筒那種好有feel嘅哋方,係隔籬商業大廈樓上一個單位,我便跟著侍應上去,一問之下,原來樓上因不淮煮食,餸菜都是由人一盤一盤的運上來,唉,經過馬路,搭𨋢,已經覺得很不衛生。一入室內,嘩,嘈得不得了,樓底不足八呎,五百呎嘅空間有三十幾人在喧嘩,隔籬台幾位大叔一邊開酒,一邊越說越大聲,我們只點了些小食,和一早預定的乳豬後便訂位找下場。在這惡劣的環境用餐,耳朵受罪,幾條沙甸魚,焗薯和乳豬連sangria盛惠二千大元,還要到附近打邊爐充飢,完成我們的中秋飯聚。下次訂位,大家真要問清楚是否有餐廳位置。老闆也不要浪費大廚們的好手勢,快快找個大一點的舖位吧。

下次訂位,大家真要問清楚是否有餐廳位置。
老闆也不要浪費大廚們的好手勢,快快找個大一點的舖位吧。

實在太好味!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 一向对青口都無咩好感, 可能我未試過食真正"正"青口, 但係呢度既青口好入味, 青口又好肥好軟口, 食落口有一種感動既feeling! 個湯都好鮮味. 一定要加碼叫多碟.

宜家諗起都仲記得0個种感動既feeling!


其他所有嘢都好有水準, 我只係認為鴨飯DRY DRY 地, 可以唔叫.

一定要番CHURK!

好友 farewell dinner 在 Nino's Cozinha 用餐. 見店子好細兼好多生意,所以一早book好位Portuguese bbq grilled spare ribsgrill做法嘅肉質會結實. 而且有醬汁,醬汁個味亦夠味,肉也腍bacalhau w/fries-將薯仔切成幼絲炸,內裡有馬介休絲, 好香口caesar salad份量好少,但味道okblue mussel紐西蘭貨夠大隻同鮮味,嫩兼無渣,好新鮮個湯是 胡椒雞湯底所以飲落辣辣哋crab in casserole 隻蟹好好味, 好有質素,好肥美肉厚,肉質結實,啖啖肉又甜melted chocolate cake, 切開蛋糕內嘅朱古力醬大量湧出cheese cake, 沒有surprise無水供應, 於是要 一jar sangria, 酒精味唔重,入口比較淡

炸馬介休球----一向對種咸魚興趣不大!因為肉質極粗嚡而味道又不是特別.粗嚡的魚肉纖維加幼滑的薯蓉炸成球,作為小食尚算合格.
白酒煮蜆----其實煮法大同小異,要分高下唯有靠材料新鮮!用的是體形較大的Manila Clam,Size只比Cherry Clam略細.隻隻肥美飽滿鮮味足!這裡的可以推介!
葡式燒沙甸----頗難做得好的一款魚,試過很多其它的餐廳此菜做得外面腥裡面苦!這裡沒有這情形出現,但略嫌不夠乾身!做得香口一點效果會更佳!
胡椒蝦----一開煲蓋濃烈的胡椒味已經湧出!入口並不感到辛辣,肉質新鮮彈牙,胡椒的味道完全滲入蝦內,連蝦頭也非常入味!細看煲內有三種不同的胡椒粒,看得出是厨師有心機之作!
吃完已經飽到甜品吃不下,家庭式的經營令人有一種親切感.沒有一般餐廳經理和下屬的那種緊張壓迫感,感覺不錯!

相約舊朋友吃個 late dinner, 已經是接近九點正, 我當然又提議去找新店吃.
是晚的 Nino's Cozinha, 當然又是在我的 to-go list 當中, 似乎 list 越來越長, 永遠有完不了的食店.

太晚才可以離開公司, 唯有小試幾味, 吃不到乳豬, 唯有下次再吃了.

這裡又是小店格局, 儘管有點狹窄, 但五臟俱全.
白Sangria 較葡國美食天地那杯多點生果, 相對地近乎正宗的, 呷一口, 果味濃郁, 很易入口.
朋友的 "Nothing" - with pineapple, melon juice and vodka, 據聞就不及 Sangria 那樣可口怡人了.
老闆很健談, 我們還三心兩意鑽研吃那款的時候, 他也推荐了幾個菜色, 還作出很好的安排, 可以給半份蕃茄蜆 ($81).
既然有半份, 當然淺嘗不放過了. 這味有著很濃烈的蕃茄味道, 蜆是印尼貨色, 也很足肉.

實在多年沒見面大家只顧說話, 沒有留意這碟咖喱魚是用甚麼魚來做...味道好過鴨飯.
朋友說過咸的鴨飯, 我覺得還可以, 味道一般, 但 size 也不小, 有幾片香腸在面, 略嫌單調.

是次淺嘗不能作準, 似乎要搞一下小局再吃吃.

阿媽牛一,居然選了去屋企就近食葡國菜,平時行開行埋,都覺得哩間餐廳人氣幾足,而當日係星期六人就相對更多。地鋪可選露天座或室內座,室內座位很迫,旁邊一棟商業大廈九樓亦有設座位,感覺就較幽暗及私房菜feel。一行四人,點了報紙推介的幾款菜,包括:1) 燴牛尾煲 - 淋及入味,但無乜特別2) BBQ豬肋骨 - 不錯,但不值這個價位3) 鴨飯 - 個人覺得食蛇鋪的糯米飯好吃十倍4) 白酒煮蜆 - 不太差,但同樣,不值這個價位,蜆略帶點腥味5) 萄國雞 - 我阿媽話個汁okay,但雞就唔太okay,I 同意。6) 四款甜品,包括心太軟x2(外脆內濃,份量很小,配的牛奶公司雪糕卻很大杯)橙餅(外觀不錯,味道粗糙)及木糠布甸(很好,好像澳門氹仔硬木糠布甸一樣濃郁creamy重奶香,但人家是1/4價錢)總括而言,就係唔抵囉。

上星期六與朋友一行18人到 nino's cozinha 攪生日飯. 在朋友推薦試下呢間葡國菜.餐廳裝修頗有格調, 諗住唔會差得去邊....... 點知....1) 餐前點了Sangria, 但味道似肉桂開水..... yuck....2) 沙甸魚份量少之餘又唔新鮮...... yuck.....3) $1200 一份乳豬, 皮又韌,肉又只有肥膏, 又冇味...... yuck.......4) 白酒青口, 水準還不及pizza hut....... 5) 紅酒燴牛尾, 水準一般, 還不及港式餐廳........6)其他菜色, 大部份冇貨..... Busy little restaurant, whenplacing a booking remember to ask for the inside, definitely too hot to be seated al fresco during the summer months. The tapas are quite expensive, a bit on the "unreansonable side" given they are portugese.They priced higher even than Ole, one of the better spanish restaurants, but at the same measly quantity. Foods were hit or miss.Although the Portuguese chicken was definitely well worth trying.

Bread was crusty but not soft enough, the flour has too high tension making it feel "heavy" in the mouth.

This "special" Portuguese ham, at $250 was a total rip off. The texture was tougher than the shoe I was wearing, and there was no rich oily flavour, not to mention any after taste. Definitely a low grade leg of pig, not aged nor seasoned properly.

grilled sardines, a must have amongst Portuguese dishes. Although the sardines were plump, they weren't grilled enough, probably because the kitchen was too busy.
燒沙甸, 夠肥大, 但燒爐控制特唔好, 油香發揮唔倒, 少少腥
Maybe another 5 more minutes on the grill will release those aromatic oils in the fishes.
應該燒多5分鐘就好喇

Portuguese Chicken, this was done surprisingly well, in fact, it's one of the best i had. Both taste and smell were great

我從來唔識欣賞嘅鴨飯, 請問各位師兄, 呢味菜有何可取之處?

Food somehow over priced if you ask me ($36 for one piece of sardine,$20 per bacalhau fish ball, $34 per fried oyster, and clams are normally less than 1/2 the price in similar places), but the alcohol took 1/2 the bill, hahaha!!!!

蒜蓉蝦沙律:蝦雖然不大隻,但總算爽口鮮味,加上淡淡的蒜蓉和新鮮的沙律,配以簡單的油醋汁,清新健康;

葡式臘腸煮雞:其實是薯仔炆雞,祇不過加了葡式臘腸,雞肉嫩滑,薯仔和紅蘿蔔都炆得很腍;
焗鴨飯:雖然味道不錯,但焗得太乾身了,飯粒亦很硬,鴨絲亦不是很多;
蒜蓉雜菇炒法式綠角豆:綠角豆有點像青豆條,清甜爽口,健康之選;
燒豬肋骨:醬汁很惹味,而且豬肋骨煮得“骨肉分離”,肉質嫩滑!

吃完這些食物後,正當我們討論去哪裡吃甜品之際,waitress就給我們甜品menu,於是七個人就點了五款甜品來share,分別有心太軟伴雪糕、木糠布甸、香橙蛋糕、杏仁酥餅和砵酒雪糕。因為每份甜品份量都很小,所以祇能輕嚐。心太軟味道和賣相都還可以,可惜流心度不足;木糠布甸、香橙蛋糕和杏仁酥餅味道一般,砵酒雪糕沒有試,因為幾乎被Y小姐一人獨佔。
整體來說,這裡的食物很正宗地道,但份量比較小而價錢偏貴,不過可以一試!

Had dinner here with a group of 12/13 friends. We were seated in one of the 3 long tables in the Wine Cellar (which is on the 9th Flr of some building near the actual restaurant). With a large group, we were able to try a large variety of the dishes, the tomato clams and the roast pig were highly recommended when we made the table booking. We ate these two dishes amongs other things, the whole pig was good, but overpriced ($1,280), I personally found the pig a bit too fatty (compared to other similar restaurants) - Chinese roasted suckling pig tastes better


The duck rice is worth a try, unfortunately it came quite late, so we were quite stuffed by that time. The portuguese chicken was also pretty good.

White Sangria recommended, the red one tastes a little funny, I think they added some cinnamon or cardamon in it.

Overall, an enjoyable meal with a large group of friends, just found prices a little overpriced (relative to the food cost and portion size).

Planning to take a potential client to a cozy place for dinner. Made reservations for 6:15 and was told that we needed to leave by 8:15. When I arrived, they had a full camera crew there for a taping of their food - lots of people, lots of noise, small little place was lit up like the sun. I wanted to leave, but was assured that the taping was almost over. It lasted for another 40 minutes. Anyone remodeling their restuarant would not also be taking reservations to serve meals at the same time -

I wanted to leave, but was assured that the taping was almost over. It lasted for another 40 minutes.
Anyone remodeling their restuarant would not also be taking reservations to serve meals at the same time - basic courtesy. Same concept for doing a taping with full camera crew. Worse yet if you lied to the client when they still had the choice of going to another place.

Food was not good. Service was terrible - silverware being dropped into my other food is not considered acceptable service.

To top it off, they made noises to force us out around 8:15, when the restuarant was not full and there was no one waiting.

Horrible experience. If you want a decent meal, go somewhere else.

主角上場之後,便輪到其他菜式,葡式燒沙甸魚,魚肉細嫩,而魚頭的味道非常甘香,用手拿起魚頭,放在口內吸啜魚頭的精華,很滋味.炸馬介休球是葡國菜其中一名主要成員,葡國咸魚打成茸,再混合著薯茸,搓成如小小的欖球狀,再炸到金黃,香脆的外層,包著香滑的薯茸,同咸香的馬介休,加在一起,的確又香又滑呢.本來叫個蒜茸炒蜆,上桌是真的不像炒蜆,放在湯上似是白酒煮蜆居多,每一隻蜆肥美飽滿,味道鮮甜.再不去理會用什麼形式去演繹了.馬介休炒蛋同樣做得不錯,蛋香同馬介休的咸香很匹配.

葡國雞這一味,求其在香港的茶記都會吃到,此店的葡國雞,加上葡國臘腸,勉何多一份葡國風味,歸根究底,此一味始終是澳門葡菜,並不是葡萄牙的味道.葡式上湯鰈魚很好吃,番茄味道天然,沒有死酸味道,魚肉煎得鮮嫩可人,在番茄的襯托下相得益彰.大堆頭的胡椒蝦煲,熱辣辣,爽甜的蝦肉並未能突出胡椒的勁度,當一咬個蝦頭,吸收了胡椒味的蝦膏,化身成為香辣的汁液一湧而出.最後的主菜是焗鴨飯,做得乾身,充滿濃濃的鴨香.比年初在澳門的阿曼諾,濕如湯飯的鴨飯好得多.

全夜的指定酒精飲品是Sangria,Watered-down之下,喝了兩大jar.自攜酒品就要收$80開瓶費一支,店內的餐酒主要是葡萄牙紅/白酒,最平百多塊便有一支.

聽聞此店是家庭式經營,味道自然帶有葡國家庭風味,在香港的葡國菜館近乎只此一家,單是做居港葡人的生意,已經夠維持有餘.記得光顧之前,一定要訂位.
