I had lunch at the Causeway Bay branch today and the manager/supervisor is rude and abrasive. We asked the waitress and she let us sit at the end of the benches but the manager came and told us to sit elsewhere cause that table is too cold, there's a draft. He was loud and impolite but regardless we sat at another table, both my friend and I sat on one side of the table and he was not happy at the way we sat, asking how many of us dining. I said there's two of us and is there a problem; he said whatever I want in a nasty tone. The restaurant was not busy with only 4 tables occupied. He then told us that there's lunch special which includes a drink, and after a while throw the menu on the table saying that we can also order ala carte. We ordered the Hainan chicken rice and chow kwai dew. The noodle is fine but we're so disappointed at the Hainan chicken. The rice is not as tasty as before, and there is only 5 small pieces of chicken meat hiding underneath a bed of chicken skin. To make it worse, when we order drinks, we were told that they ran out of coffee! No matter the restaurant is so slow during Saturday lunch hours, it is just poorly managed! Will never go back again to the Causeway Bay branch! I'll give the Central branch a last try for the Hainan chicken, and if it's the same as the Causeway Bay branch, I'll write off Papparich!

某日在飲食雜誌見到介紹Papparich,是馬來西亞菜,新開業,心即刻想去試試,當然是不可能!星期天在銅鑼灣搵食,不用考慮,11:30便到達食店,成為第一位客人,而且可以坐到窗口位置,開心到極!!坐下來看看餐紙,有單叫亦有午餐,套餐包飲品,便order兩個不同套餐,可以同老公交換吃,等候時間都幾耐,大概等了20多分鐘才上餐,我一向不介意等,因為即刻煮就是需時啦!套餐很豐富,主食是椰漿飯,另外選擇二種配菜,味道可口,賣相吸引,飲品選了拉茶,這拉茶都等了段時間,同樣不介意,因為見師父很用心拉出拉茶來,味道亦很棒!

星期日CWB難搵食,要平更難,呢度環境清靜,坐位舒適,食物品質高,價錢抵食。6點到,無訂位,依然有好位,先叫杯拉茶,香滑無比,是馬拉風味,超感動。再要seafood laksa, 大隻蝦新鮮彈口,海鮮超多,青口魷魚蜆肉,唯獨魚旦有點腥,湯底超色,飲完要口渴,仲有2大塊炸腐皮,有小小林,的確不敵回南天,在HK不宜先炸定,麵條是馬拉原身2款麵混合,夠正宗,又超大碗,整體超水準美味,色香味俱全,索價不用$100,CWB實難得。

在澳洲有多家分店的 PappaRich 終於現身香港!這店在澳洲的生意很不錯,每到午飯時候總要等位,今天剛巧路過銅鑼灣便順道試試香港分店水準如何。樓上鋪,地方不大,中午時分約半滿。午餐牌由$65-$98不等,包一杯飲品,今天叫了巴東牛肉+椰漿飯同凍白咖啡一試。上菜碟擺放精緻,巴東牛肉應該是用牛肋骨條做的,很淋汁少辣夠惹味,椰漿飯沒有椰香味,有點失望,好彩跟飯送上花生同魚仔,配飯連巴東牛肉汁一起吃好夾。白咖啡如果可以再濃少少會更好。在銅鑼灣以$70左右一個午餐來説整體滿意,只是,個人覺得還是澳洲店做得比較地道出色。不過比起其他在香港的馬來亞店這餐飯已教人回味,下次會再來試試其他菜式。

吃了之後忍不住找經理來問,及讚,因為真的是出乎我意料之外,沒有想過在銅鑼灣會有這樣的一間樓上店,真是滄海遺珠。

這間是正宗馬來西亞餐廳,在馬來西亞有店,在澳洲也有店,然後再來香港開店。

經理告訴我,餐廳可以說是原貎風味,因為湯料,配料全部都是在馬來西亞中央工場做好,然後運來香港;除了必要的材料之外,全部都是從馬來西亞原裝運過來。

今晚真是大有口福,以 HKD150 一位的價錢,在銅鑼灣鬧市之中找到一個食物美味,招呼上上的餐廳,真是很滿足。

很有物值,我以後會常來,也要為這間餐廳平反,因為看到有很多劣評,我細心看,都是說招呼不好,侍應不熟悉自己賣的東西;但我來到的這次,完全看不到有很年青而又不熟悉自己賣的食物的服務員,相反,我看到三位很有經驗,招呼很細心的服務員

有多細心?請不要相信我,請你看事實。

剛來到,經理安排了一張可以傾計,舒服的枱子給我們,之後還有人來,他也沒有安排搭枱。

坐下之後,經理給了我們一張點菜紙,告訴我們:「這是點菜紙,這裹也有大餐牌,看看有甚麼東西喜歡吃,隨便叫!」

我也知需要付費,但這樣親切的語氣,會讓客人感覺很舒服。

中間也有四次幫我加水,真是五星級酒店也不可能做到。

每吃完一道菜,他們也會幫我換碟;大佬,只是比快餐店貴一點的價錢而已,能有這樣招呼,個人覺得是超額完成。

吃蝦麵時,經理特別給了我一個筒用來放蝦殻,這也不會是這個價錢的餐廳可以做到。

真是值得一讚及 highlight,也必定要幫這間 Pupparich 平反。
Other Info. : 泊車不要泊銅鑼灣廣場,HKD46.00 一小時真的太貴,後面 E House 泊 HKD32.00,尚算合理;此外,坐地鐵出來行兩分鐘就到,非常方便,就在通利琴行樓上。

今日,我同同事一齊食午飯。入到去餐廳,梳化就綠色,掛上淺金黃色嘅燈光。好有懷舊嘅味道。我叫個set lunch,巴東牛肉加黃金飯。另外加杯參。五分鐘之後就上左個飯。 黃金飯其實同印度飯無咩分別。巴東牛肉夠味無咩汁而且比較乾。咖喱薯仔係夠淋,咖哩椰漿味好足。印度煎餅就幾香黑椒味。本人建議巴東牛肉,如果牛肉可以鎖到肉汁就更好。畢竟巴東牛肉係主角

以前在海外居住的時候就已經吃過這家PappaRich, 所以知道香港有分店就想去回味一下哈哈。餐廳黎銅鑼灣站C出口大約步行5分鐘就到,在一棟商廈裡。餐廳不大,我們7點半到有一半坐滿了。我餓到肚扁,叫了一份roti canai with curry chicken ($45). 好友說這邊的roti像是買現成的,不是新鮮做的。雖然roti沒有很酥脆,但很鬆軟,點著濃濃的咖哩汁吃很香。另外我還點了雞肉喇沙($88)。雞是白切的,很像我們吃海南雞飯那種雞,都是雞胸肉,肉質蠻軟滑。喇沙咖哩湯底椰奶味濃,非常香,不會辣,我覺得味道很正宗!麵是米粉和黃麵混合在一起,煮得很軟,我最愛!忍不住要把整晚喇沙吃完,好滿足(笑)

另外我還點了雞肉喇沙($88)。雞是白切的,很像我們吃海南雞飯那種雞,都是雞胸肉,肉質蠻軟滑。喇沙咖哩湯底椰奶味濃,非常香,不會辣,我覺得味道很正宗!麵是米粉和黃麵混合在一起,煮得很軟,我最愛!忍不住要把整晚喇沙吃完,好滿足(笑)

上次來Papparich沒有吃串燒,同事叫我下次一定要試。今次即刻叫了半打雞同半打牛,個沙嗲醬真的超好味,有適量的花生碎,跟在吉隆坡吃過的醬一樣美味。串燒還有配青瓜、紅洋蔥同薄餅。如果再多些沙嗲醬會更好。牛有點過熟。另外,我叫了蝦麵,兩隻蝦好大隻,而且細心地已經起了腸,非常好。如果覺得不夠辣,餐廳亦有隨麵附上Sambal醬。Lunch set 包一杯飲品,我㸃了凍拉茶。最後,叫了kaya butter toast,麵包夠鬆軟,butter雖然有點多,不過冇butter又冇咁好吃。總括來說,串燒必吃,個沙嗲醬好

馬來西亞同事推介這間餐廳正宗又美味,叫我一定要試下,我便跟兩位香港同事來試一下。我叫了怡保湯河配鮮蝦雞絲,湯味道好,蝦亦很彈牙。還有付上新鮮辣椒,令到喜歡吃辣的我非常高興。因為不是每間餐廳都會主動給新鮮辣椒。不過,份量少了一點,男士可能會不夠飽。另外,我的同事叫了巴東牛肉棷漿飯。她非常滿意,説牛肉跟椰漿飯都很美味。由於是set lunch,只有咖啡或茶可以選擇。除了椰漿飯,也有黃金飯。但見黃金飯有乾提子,感覺有點怪。不是太啱我囗味。介紹我的同事問我有沒有吃串燒,他說也很美味,可惜我們沒有叫,留待下一次吧!
