突然發現一直以來中菜,都會給人一種環境簡陋,較嘈吵,或是很昂貴的包廂,平常吃不了的感覺,而這次這家中菜,卻有別於舊有的觀念。環境闊落,位置相隔合理。裝橫以木頭與Tiffany blue做主調,略有小橋流水之意,適合與長輩共餐,或是小型聚會。冰浸苦瓜。天氣悶熱,就會想吃點冰涼的。用冰承托住切了薄片的苦瓜,要沾蜜糖吃。苦中一點甜,就是這種感覺。莆田扁肉粥。因加了醋,吃之前要先攪拌。小肉塊份量頗多的,調味也剛好。另湯汁因加了海苔,味道鮮甜,不過略嫌過鹹。閩香洋燒排。挺大的一塊肉,燒得很爛,一咬就斷。肉也是入味的,偏酸甜。鐵板香煎鰻魚。是我最喜歡的菜,剛送上時,鐵板的熱氣還在煎,可以加檸檬或是海鹽,個人比較喜歡海鹽。鰻魚的油脂被煎得超香,只用很簡單的調味,反而更突出鰻魚本身的魚香。超級推!漁民紫菜燜飯。中式少不了一碗飯,這燜飯的紫菜份量特別多,再加上有一些小小的蠔仔,硬生生把這燜飯添加幾分海鮮味,不錯的。整體來講,味道算是不錯的,略嫌價錢略高,不過以這個有誠意的環境,還是值得的。

又去莆田食鰻魚啦今次都係食鐵板香煎活鰻魚,因為我鐘意食香口野多D, 鰻魚肉質嫩滑得黎好很厚肉,外皮被鐵皮煎到香脆,店員亦會另外附上鹽同檸檬汁比食客自行調味。莆田扁肉湯係福建傳統手工菜,湯頭鮮甜,扁肉爽口彈牙冰鎮薄苦瓜片加蜜糖依然適合炎炎夏季食。蜜糖唔夠用的話可以向店員要求再加架興化炒米粉依然係我嘅最愛,因為幼身米粉食落口口感好好,米粉炒得乾身唔油膩,我喺其他地方真係食唔到,呢個絕對係莆田招牌菜將荔枝用黎煮餸的確少見,味道食落同平時嘅菠蘿生炒骨/咕嚕肉有d似,酸酸甜甜,外皮亦都夠晒脆。

Doutou clams on coarse salt and hot plate - Just the way I like it, if the ingredient is fresh and tasty, what more do you need than just to baked it over a bed of salt?! With minimum to none flavoring, you can taste and feel the specialty of the Doutou clams! Sweet, fresh and clean. My god yes, me being always fussy about seafood cleaniness.. found the doutou clams were actually very clean and ate with supreme comfort knowing that the food safety is of the clams were in perfect order!

原來呢道菜式屬非文質文化遺產,因為太陽下自然曬乾,而且呢道菜式係十分抵食,超級大盤,有四人份量,米粉幼細、雪白,炒得條條分明乾身,帶米香味,再加上蝦仁、瘦肉、花生、香菇等等配料,食落十分香口,加上少少辣椒醬更加惹味。


埋單3位$520左右,我地3個都食到好飽,因為碟炒米粉真係份量十足,黃花魚、蟶子都係食過會想再黎食既菜式,仲有蝦苗拌頭水紫菜,兩老亦表示岩佢地胃口,唔會太清淡或者太重口味,味道岩岩好,必定會再帶佢地黎食。

又係招牌之一睇個名就知點解叫百秒,因為只係用一百秒蒸熟一條魚,時間控制得嚴謹,肉質一定唔會蒸老,好鮮嫰。
