We were shocked by the fancy decoration once entering the cafe. It is unique and just like the name of the cafe, full of roses. Food blogers will definitely like this place/
Roseate Cafe, located in Lang Ching Place is easy to fin as it is just 3 minutes walking from Mong Kok station and it is just next to Langham place. We stopped by at around 8pm and there was just a few customers inside so we didn't need to wait long to get seated.
The cafe is decorated with lots of roses and some of the seats are in the shape of a cage which allows you to take a lot of photos around the restaurant. Unlike other restaurant that this cafe is very comfortable especially in seating. Spaciously seated, you won't fee crowded - the atmosphere in the restaurant is really quiet and with its dim light, it offers a romantic environment. The staff there is nice and polite as well. When I ask for a change of my cup of water (because there was some dirt on it), they were more than willing to do so. Also, each table has a bell to call for the staff - very thoughtful. The menu is available in both Chinese and English.
I have ordered the scallop risotto with truffle mushroom (152HKD). The dish is served ina a nice plating - looking appetizing and it is nicely scented. However I was quite disappointed with the dish as the risotto is bit rough and not creamy enough. It is quite savory as well but the scallop and mushrooms give me some refreshing scent. I think the dish is not filling as well. It may only suit people who dont have a big stomach like mine.
Overall speaking the price is reasonable and I think most of the customers will enjoy the environment more than the food. It is worth visiting.
