阿拉湯包: 即係小籠包, 唔好食, 皮太厚, 夾時就已經穿, d汁瘺哂出黎, 味道一般, 太重豬肉味.....

腰果炒牛肉: 牛無牛味, 好似食緊肉片咁, 食落又唔入味, 好似分開炒完撈返埋咁....

雖然食物味道麻麻地, 但賣相都呃得下人, 而且勝在環境, 服務好, 最後食完野, 我扮去洗手間搵人幫手拎蛋糕出黎, 過左一陣拎個蛋糕比我地, 仲拎左部即影即有既相機出黎幫我地影相, 真係有d估佢唔到, 轉頭仲附送一個紙製既座枱相架比我地, 張相當然比左主角啦~~

12:30打電話去問吓有無枱,佢話幫我book住先,心唸咁full?!12:45到達,嘩....勁多吉枱,我地兩個人被安排坐卡位,其實卡位唔係咁好坐,不過勝在靜靜地可以傾吓計。兩個人第一次黎幫襯,唔甘心就咁order兩個set lunch,雖然佢既set lunch係幾底。所以決定叫一個set lunch同其他食物。Set Lunch: 酸辣湯粉絲+三隻小籠包+竹蔗薏米水  個酸辣湯粉絲唔太辣,味道唔錯,不過d粉絲太淋。至於小籠包我覺得一般,唔太差但亦唔覺特別好食。 毛豆南瓜,豆味香,有麻油味,不過食唔出南瓜味 小排骨好唔掂,其實味都ok,但超"un",乾淨淨。佢真係要向姊妹食店天與地偷吓師,人地嗰個真係好好食架。 蔥油餅,全餐飯最好食呢樣,入口唔太油,好鬆化。(Good!) 高力芒果,雖然已經好飽同要等15分鐘先有得食,不過一心黎到都好想試吓。但係好失望,呢種整法同芒果一d都唔match。雖然個皮做得幾好,但熱咗既芒果,食落酸酸地,整體覺得唔好食。涷咗之後,d芒果好食好多,但係個皮就變得太淋。

尋日去o左阿拉麵館食lunch,覺得果度d o野真係幾好食,特別係個蔥油餅...真係好正,好鬆化,又夠入味wor,真係好好食!除o左蔥油餅,果度個干扁四季豆都好味,好夠味又唔會太鹹!果度d小籠包外形就麻麻地,不過味道就幾好,皮夠薄而且有好多湯汁!至於個糖醋小排骨,我就覺得味道ok,不過d肉就乾o左d,好似煮耐o左咁,麻麻地啦!總括果度d o野好食而且價錢合理,值得一試!

仲記得好耐之前的食物中毒事件...一路都冇食過,直到男友說他哥哥食過幾好味,於是就去試試啦~同朋友行完街,join 埋男友三個人一齊o黎o左呢度食晚飯 叫了咩餸都唔太記得,有︰雞絲粉皮、蒜泥白肉、小籠包、醉雞本人喜歡食雞絲粉皮,去到唔同的上海鋪都要試試這個菜...都 ok 的,不過不及"翡翠"的那個好味蒜泥白肉和小籠包,覺得很一般...小籠包覺得不夠熱至於醉雞酒不夠入味,還是鼎泰豐的好 Overall 都幾好味o既,但所有份量真係好少...服務都幾好~又可以坐成晚

星期日,繼續在辦公室埋頭苦幹。忙還忙,中午食飯個餐也不應虧待自已,恰巧又約到住office附近的同事,一齊去食lunch。可能不是Working Day的繁忙時間,人客不多,大把位置任揀。其實大家都不太肚餓,商議一陣,決定要個麻辣雞絲湯麵及炒鴨肉松子叉子燒餅,夠食了。先來的是麻辣雞絲湯麵,單看顏色好似勁辣,聞到都幾刺激,心中以為今次闖禍了。幸好,吃落原來辣度都可以接受,之不過麻味唔勁。呢度用既好似係麻醬而不是花椒,刺激程度會比四川的麻辣差一點。說回麵底,幾幼細的,也爽口,配上同樣爽口的芽菜和雞絲,效果不錯。炒鴨肉松子叉子燒餅端上來時幾吸引的,因為叉子燒餅和餡料都是熱呼呼的。炒過的鴨肉和蔥花,是香口的,同埋松子比較爽,將餡料放進脆卜卜的叉子燒餅,也可以。若鴨肉的味道濃一點,必然更理想。吃了個幾鐘頭的lunch,回去Office繼續博殺。

27/8/2008這次和友人來到銅鑼灣看電影,再次選擇了阿拉麵館。點了三款食品,分別是豬肉拉麵、石頭鍋海鮮炒飯以及炒通菜。拉麵頗有咬口,味道不錯,但豬肉實在太肥了,給人一個很膩的感覺。石頭鍋海鮮飯依舊出色,飯很香,材料足,而份量也足夠。最後的炒通菜感覺頗油,而且以價錢來說,分量太少了。這店,依然是我在銅鑼灣裏的經常選擇。

拉麵頗有咬口,味道不錯,但豬肉實在太肥了,給人一個很膩的感覺。石頭鍋海鮮飯依舊出色,飯很香,材料足,而份量也足夠。最後的炒通菜感覺頗油,而且以價錢來說,分量太少了。

這店,依然是我在銅鑼灣裏的經常選擇。

The clash of two sushi joints is embarassing for a shopping arcade, but here we were, at Shanghai Mian. The decor is hauntingly textbook -- dark wooden booths with ersatz lantern-life installations that should belong to thrift stores more than a restaurant. The open kitchen has nothing wonderous to offer either -- a plain counter of cooks not particularly cooking anything.

The magnified publicity doesn't help either, we sat down to realize that those booths are not that comfortable to begin with. The set lunches are essentially a good deal. For $40 to $55 you will get

1 appetizer/ snack
1 bowl of noodle soup
1 drink (apparently soy milk is the only thing worth drinking there)

The two of us ordered 2 set lunches. For snacks we ordered pork-hock in Chinese wine, only to realized that under the chunk of crunchy skin and fat there is nothing to it. The hock doesn't even taste like something that comes from a pig. The second snack we had was braised bamboo shoots. It looks right, except served so cold I could have asked to return it until it's thawed.

The noodle soups are no matter. Spicy shredded chicken noodles reminds me of Dan-Dan noodles, except with less peanuts and a mixture of flavours that are ample on the heat but not much on anything else. The noodles were so-so, at least not mushy. The broth was flavorful but seemed to have covered up any faint taste of chicken or whatever shreds of meat that's piled up on top of the noodles.

Shanghai Beef Noodle soup could only go downhill from there. Turned out it's only plain beef broth (that tasted lighter than canned consomme) and brisket chunks were as expected, nightmarishly shreddy.The noodles were mushy, good thing that it arrived steamy and warm, otherwise...

But the worse can only be anticipated later, when White-cut Pork in Garlic sauce arrived. Neatly arranged slices on top of green bean starch noodles. The sauce, consisted of black vinegar, sugar, sesame oil and a little garlic is flavorful throughout, but it failed to rescue the cardboard-status the pork was in. Sliced ever so thinly the pork only looked nice from afar, and I mean only afar.

Sweet dumplings with osmanthus were up to par, and the soy milk is thicker and tasted nice, at least something tasted right. Shanghai Mian is truly egregious when it comes to authenticity, however ways they claim themselves to be. It has pulled a nice trick to fool some who don't care much about food, especially good food that exist anywhere else... Really, just anywhere else but here.

尋晚周左朋友仔出來食飯, 本身諗住去朱扖專門店, 真誇張, 6點幾收工去到, 都已經要等成廿幾張枱. 梗係唔等啦, 當我傻家咩.所以就去左係附近既阿拉麵館....又幾OK喎.1. 起碼唔駛等位2. 由門口入去, 見到有個半開放既廚房, 感覺好似d野食好似隨時準備好比人食甘 3.廚房前仲有好多假既野食樣板, 睇到我都流晒口水.....2個人去, 叫左個豬肉湯麵, 亞拉湯包, 炒時菜.d野食來果時, 都覺得好細碟, 都有驚過食唔飽, 不過食下食下又覺飽喎, 可能d豬肉肥, 食到溜溜地.價錢都還可以, 都算合理, 食左百零蚊啫.不過仲有好多其他菜式都好似幾吸引.下次都可以再去試埋佢.

2. 由門口入去, 見到有個半開放既廚房, 感覺好似d野食好似隨時準備好比人食甘
3.廚房前仲有好多假既野食樣板, 睇到我都流晒口水.....

2個人去, 叫左個豬肉湯麵, 亞拉湯包, 炒時菜.
d野食來果時, 都覺得好細碟, 都有驚過食唔飽, 不過食下食下又覺飽喎, 可能d豬肉肥, 食到溜溜地.


價錢都還可以, 都算合理, 食左百零蚊啫.

不過仲有好多其他菜式都好似幾吸引.下次都可以再去試埋佢.

後記:打電話訂枱時,留左5位,許小姐,晚上7:30.今日下晝打黎confirm位時,唔該廖小姐,打錯喎...之後行到去門口時,已經打黎吹,又講廖小姐,有無攪錯啊!又要人地9點鐘交枱,唔覺好多人食喎!因為d朋友OT未黎到,唯有等下先,大約8點叫野食,好快就黎齊晒.一到9點鐘,好準時俾我地埋單,執枱,但我地未飲完野喎,咩意思呢?我見有枱吉左架,點解要趕我地走,加陣我唔係客人.坐到9:20先慢慢走人,睇見有兩個 waitress樣好唔滿意咁.

之後諗完一大餐, 最後決定叫四個飯餐一齊食,
即係一個餸跟一碗飯同一小碟前菜, $42 - $45 左右,
有蝦仁炒蛋、咕嚕肉、葱炒牛肉片、素菜豆腐及汁煮雜菇,

啲茶本身亦好差, 澀既?!! 我飲咗兩啖都唔想再飲落去!

雖然話呢間係「麵館」, 可能啲麵好食, 但既然出得噃餐, 唔該唔好咁差吖!
仲要一個餐收我哋四十幾蚊再加一, 呢間嘢真係以後都唔會再幫襯!!

Went to have lunch with gf n mum ytd in this restaurant, we ordered lots of things, we ordered fried rice, chicken fun pei, harw fu and san jeen bao. The fried rice is very very very good, it comes in a heated rock stone and it taste really really good. At the bottom of the rice there are some farn jiew, very crispy. The rice stiffness is just right and there are lots of things mixed inside which is very tasty and juicy so it makes it taste so good. and the portion is very big its around 6 bowls

Very nice lunch ytd, really liked the fried rice a lot.
