大蝦烤得剛剛好,蝦肉不單爽甜,蝦頭更有不少蝦膏,夠邪惡但充滿難以抵抗的誘惑;牛扒是五成熟,非常合個人口味,但朋友的卻是七八以上熟,這可能是翻熱的關係,時間上拿捏有點困難;德國腸算是配角,味道是大路了一點;雞扒反而出色,表皮烤得微焦,香脆可口,滿是油甘,好味;吞拿魚的問題跟牛扒一樣,有時候烤得太熟了。

今天的餘興節目,是由駐店調酒師Patrick即場調製的Rainbow特飲;預先擺好九隻玻璃杯,再慢慢將調好的飲品注入杯內,結果是由藍色開始,逐漸變成黃色,到最後竟然變成橙色,非常有趣的場面,而酒精度就以第一杯為最高,橙黃色的差不多是果汁的味道,十分適合一班愛玩的朋友。

悠閒週日,很想找個適舒的地方吃個Brunch,這一刻想起了以前在太古下班後常來Happy Hour的東隅酒店頂層Sugar。黃昏時分,坐到戶外沙發座位,對著一百八十度的港島東海景,跟友人喝酒談天,醉人環境,令人忘掉工作煩憂。最近,他們更推出了週日燒烤早午餐,頭盤及甜品任吃,並可選兩款燒烤食物,價錢是$285。雖然Sunday Brunch不包飲品,但散點價錢也不太貴,好像是Cocktails,一杯也只是$50,比Happy Hour來喝更便宜。我就先點一份Mocktail Killer Kiwi,由Kiwi、Grapefruit及Sprite調製,味道酸酸的,很清新,最合我口味。頭盤及沙律是自助形式任取,個人喜愛吃凱撒沙律,新鮮生菜加上芝士及麵包,爽口好吃。蜜糖鴨胸青蘋果沙律,味道酸甜,十分酸胃。另外還有希臘沙律、Couscous Salad、Nicoise Salad、Mixed Green Salad及多款麵包。走到露台,有大廚為客人燒烤各款食物,有大蝦、雞扒、牛扒、吞拿魚及香腸,客人可挑選其中兩款,份量不算太大,對女士來說就恰好,而男士們的就可能未必足夠,或許要多吃點沙律及甜品。

之前在Feast吃下午茶也吃過杯子蛋糕,這裡的造得不錯,蛋糕質感鬆軟濕潤。味道有朱古力及檸檬,配上不同的Toppings,朱古力味不會太甜,檸檬那款又帶點酸香,吃得滿意。香蕉拖肥撻同樣不錯,厚厚的忌廉下是拖肥醬,質感濃稠,甜膩味香,配合微脆的撻底,又吃了不少。

吞拿魚扒肉質頗厚,但出現過熟的情況,牛柳也是一樣,太熟了。後來再去到BBQ爐前,對廚師反映過意見之後,再試一次吞拿魚與牛柳,這一次,感覺好得多了。雞扒與香腸還不錯,最好吃的是大蝦,帶點焦香,更保持蝦肉的鮮味,還有蝦膏的甘香,肉質也爽甜。

喝Shooters當然要一乾而盡,藍色的那一邊是最烈,滿口都是伏特加,與Gin的濃烈感,橙色的一杯較為溫和,最適合女生喝。

開邊大蝦燒得很漂亮,肉質彈牙甜美,配上綠色的香草醬,吃起來更加滋味。雞扒燒成金黃色,外層微微脆,雞肉有彈性之餘又保留肉汁,好好吃。

三層的甜品架,放著一個個迷你的杯子蛋糕和香蕉撻,賣相精緻,size小小的,多吃幾款也不擔心吃不下。三款小蛋糕之中我最愛吃香蕉撻,忍不住吃了三件,香蕉撻裡面有香蕉蓉,味道很濃,中間加了少許鮮奶油中和甜膩,而最上層放了一片灑了可可粉的香蕉,味道與賣相都是一流。

飲飽食醉之後,Sugar的調酒師為我們表演彩虹魔法,他預先在吧檯上放了九隻小玻璃杯,然後不知有什麼秘密,他慢慢的把飲品從調酒杯倒出來,杯子裡的酒慢慢由藍色漸變成黃色,就像彩虹一樣,在場的朋友們都嘆為觀止,這肯定是我見到最適合夏天喝的Rainbow shots。

美食、美景、美酒,三合為一,為悠閒的星期天帶來愉快笑聲,還見到一直在網上交談卻沒有見過面的食友,實在很高興。

But never got the chance to visit Sugar

One fine evening
We decided to pay a little visit
Sugar opens at 5pm and it is the perfect timing for enjoying the sunset hour

其實一直都好想去這裡試試, 可惜苦無機會, 今夜好友就趁著為我慶生, 於銅鑼灣晚飯後與我到這間Sugar試試。可幸去到的時間尚早(7點半左右), 人不多, 還可以坐到露天的座位好好欣賞對岸景色。佐酒小吃-免費可添加的!不過可惜不太好吃, 粟米片都是「淋」的。這裡的mocktail倒是不貴啊, 50蚊就有交易了。左邊是Killer kiwi, 奇異果味反而被西柚味搶去了(也好, 我愛西柚多一點), 很解渴的一杯飲品。右邊是Strawberry Bee。再點了一客小吃, 芝士薯條, 芝士味濃薯條新鮮炸的很香口!最後一round, 要了Corona beer跟grapefruit juice。我們起初坐室外的座位(圖下), 不過後來以為下雨, 又越來越多人, 所以轉回室內(圖上)來這裡當然是想欣賞東九龍夜景啦~可惜玻璃反光, 總會拍到反光的景物。以酒店飲品價錢來說, 真的不貴! 沒Happy Hour都抵飲~感覺這裡服務質素是不錯的, 至於環境也是令人滿意的! 不過如果想坐露天的座位, 建議真的要早點到, 因為9點多後, 真的越來越多人!!! 有不少更是外藉人士呢~氣氛也很熱鬧(也不算太嘈)

以酒店飲品價錢來說, 真的不貴! 沒Happy Hour都抵飲~

感覺這裡服務質素是不錯的, 至於環境也是令人滿意的! 不過如果想坐露天的座位, 建議真的要早點到, 因為9點多後, 真的越來越多人!!! 有不少更是外藉人士呢~氣氛也很熱鬧(也不算太嘈)。以價錢及質素來說, 真的算是值得一試呢!

Highly recommended- East hotel 32nd floor Sugar Bar.Have indoor & outside area, outside have a great view and the seating is really relaxing (beanbag).The serve is great. On reservation they ask me to join the membership and then approached to table. The server recommend to me drinking mojito reloaded so nice. The price is not expansive.

We went because the online menu looked good, and the terrace is supposed to have a fantastic view.

On arrival we were told only standing room was available......and we should have left at that point. But we stood, and nursed a drink and hung around until a "table" became available.

The terrace does have a great view, but only if you like standing up or lying down. (The seating is all bean-bags on the floor, with low tables that are very hard to eat off, so we really didn't much enjoy the food we ordered.) There is insufficient light at some of the tables to see your food.

The food we did have was okay, but nothing to rave about. Drinks were expensive. Draft Heineken goes for $85. And then the wine.......for $75 a glass, you should get something better than the cheapest Italian plonk in the market. (I bought the same wine in Oliver's two weeks ago for $79 for the whole bottle!)

So if you go here, know what to expect: a great view, but not a great eating or drinking value. If you're going to preen, and see, and be seen, then this is your kind of place.

6) 飲左兩杯野加個併盤,食物尚算ok。

好多bar好過呢樹,只係呢d bar唔夠呢樹高。

最後都無拎張membership卡走。
