In term of the decoration, services, and food ingredient, I have no objection on the price. All of the food was not bad. I love the glutinous rice because of its has so many different types of ingredients. the CNY sweet pudding was another surprise, not because of the pudding, but the preparation. Most of the restarant pan fried sweet pudding with oil but this one was steamed and sprinkled with coconut fakes. It reduce the greasy taste at the end of a big dinner.

Not sure if the dim-sums here are more expensive than other places, but quality is good too, they always have artistic dim-sums too such as penguin shaped things etc.The packaging they gave for the dim-sum is also good, not the CFC ones that fume the food with chemicals.This time I got the prawn toasts, not that similar to the ones in UK, but they are bitesized with one prawn on each toast.The ones in UK are ground prawn paste on top of bread and dipped in sesame seeds.

老闆要返外國過聖誕節, 所以提早一個星期來鴻星飲茶慶祝鴻星的出名, 其實唔錯的, 但侍應唔多夠係名店/大店的通病一個侍應睇幾張台, 係lunch繁忙時間, 無論你有多勤力都做唔切啦, 希望老闆多加人手啦炒飯, d飯硬到無朋友, 好在係大店, 可以取消甜品-楊枝甘露, 原來一樣係7仔有得賣的樽裝, 下次唔會再叫, 但蛋白杏仁露就唔錯, 好香杏仁味其他點心就不多介紹了, 午餐七個人, 埋單 $730, ok啦

幫親左好多次飲茶同晚飯.但未試過呢度既大閘蟹,同屋企人一齊黎擦番餐.  推介係蟹粉小籠包:有 juicy 湯汁,蟹粉份量亦不少.  食大閘蟹時發覺外殼有甜味,相信蒸蟹時落左sugar.(老人家話通常唔夠 fresh 就會咁樣處理)  蟹羔嫌少左d.  小菜亦唔錯.服務幾好,d部長反應快很醒目.Overall is Good

  一向都不喜歡吃海鮮的我給家人半迫下食這個蟹宴,人齊後開始上菜.先嚟大盆蟹,雞手鴨腳,後來經高人指點下很易原隻切開慢慢品嚐.嘩!都几好喎,好多肉又好多羔.第二道菜上來了,跟住一道跟一道的菜,似乎太密了,都未來得切消化,不過最值得一提的是蟹粉小籠包:一啖咬下看見有上湯包在皮內(包滿整隻包)不雖醮任何醬汁也吃到鮮味;芝士釀蟹蓋,很乾身,很濃的芝士味;海鮮卷,D料的味道配合得一流.  但那個翅就真的入不了口,好像飲茨水一樣最後卡路里超標,每人前後有三隻蟹,但我只吃了一隻,因為係新手,吃得不夠快及純熟,給家人吃掉了!!埋單每位差不多四,五百元,但是我覺得很值得.出年再嚟過.  駕車的朋友記得泊酒樓側的停車場,因為他們會CHOP印後可享免費泊車.

幾經辛苦(其實很享受才是)到達分店,店內客人為數只有數檯,坐下後看看有甚麼新的點心供應。起手式蝦餃跟蟹粉少籠包,另加荔茸香酥雞、排骨蒸腸粉、黃橋燒餅、豉油王炒麵和雞球大包~

今天的
蝦餃皮厚度一般,不過蝦肉鮮甜,以及筍絲的香味,不錯~

而蟹粉小籠包的香味當然沒有當造時好,不過也有一定的甘香味道,暫時"頂癮"還是可以的~

荔茸香酥雞的荔茸幼滑芋香四溢,可惜雞肉普通沒雞味......白白浪費了荔茸~

豉油王炒麵鑊氣夠,豉油味亦香,不過略為不夠乾身,但也算是合格的了~

從前的雞球大包餡料跟現在的大有不同,現在的餡料都會用上新鮮食材,而從前的大多是把剩下的材料加入調味再製成餡料。這個大包內有叉燒、冬菇、雞肉、碎豬肉和小量咸蛋,包身算是軟熟。可以收貨了~

排骨蒸腸粉味道一般,腸粉不滑,排骨有點過咸......
再來就是橫橋燒餅,想不到有點驚喜。外層酥皮鬆化,內餡味道跟蔥油餅相似,有著陣陣的蔥香氣味,加上小許的金華火腿,兩者的味道甚是配合。這個各位有機會要試試~


在離開時本來想買一隻家鄉梅肉扣肉糭回去的,可是原來早已沽清了,想試也沒機會了......

買了蘿蔔糕和芋頭糕各兩盒,年初二煎來吃,怎知竟然是水汪汪一片,不知道是不是煮糕時加入大多水所至.昨晚看"食到篤問到篤"節目,看到大廚煮糕真是下太多水了,令到糕身太軟,他也說要"蒸糕",這樣的價錢換來品質欠佳的糕品,令人失望.

年初二煎來吃,怎知竟然是水汪汪一片,
不知道是不是煮糕時加入大多水所至.
昨晚看"食到篤問到篤"節目,看到大廚煮糕真是
下太多水了,令到糕身太軟,他也說要"蒸糕",
這樣的價錢換來品質欠佳的糕品,令人失望.

食晚飯想吃鮑魚又想食大閘蟹,於是來到曾經過飲茶的荔枝角鴻星.Order個大閘蟹398套餐, 大閘蟹好甜好,好味道,但其他的就完全不得,元貝燴生翅沒鮮味, 個小鮑魚不入味鮑魚汁沒味道得個咸,食九孔鮮鮑仔好過, 個條海參酸的蟹粉小籠包皮太厚發覺這間鴻星都係飲茶算啦個廚房不得. 煮不出靚0野
