The food quality is high and the service is great. Very reasonable price lunch sets for the high grade sushi. I absolutely love love their 三色 Don. The environment is nice and quiet though the view is not as good as some of the other high end places. Will definitely come again for a nice lunch date.

今日同男朋友慶祝紀念日,經網上介紹下決定食omakase。我同男朋友都係日料愛好者,多年來都試過唔少日式餐廳,今次亦係滿心期待光臨”天膳”晚上7時正準時到達餐廳,餐廳只有我們二人,我們被職員安排到角落位置,一坐下就發現枱角有紫菜碎,此時已對餐廳大減印象分。餐廳沒有主動提供餐牌給我們,價錢亦視乎當天材料而定.。只是問我們有什麼不吃便立即上菜。其後進食期間開始陸續多客人,發現大部份客人都是熟客,此時待應開始忽略我們,不停跟熟客聊天。食物水準一般,廚師打開刺身冷凍櫃後長期打開,刺身亦隨處擺放,口感和味道只是比連鎖壽司店千両好一點,這個價錢、質素和服務態度不值得一吃。在銅鑼灣區的廚師發板多到眼花撩亂,比他們好的餐廳應有盡有。

有日忽然做嘢做到好崩潰,同同事呻好想食comfort foodFriday lunch即日book好驚無位,但好彩依間有研究左好耐8貫($250)同12貫($390)有咩分別中拖羅啊大拖羅啊海膽啊池魚啊依啲兩邊都有得揀8貫嗰餐仲有埋烏冬為咗想食埋烏冬,就揀咗8貫坐sushi bar睇住師傅整,真係會令人更加期待前菜嘅茶碗蒸自選壽司 (8貫)$250食完前菜啲壽司就到啦係好吸引嘅樣子每款都係中上質素中拖羅真係不得了好想食多幾件🥺海膽都甜嘅,不過太大無乜驚喜烏冬 (加牛肉 $20) 牛肉好好味依$20真係加得夠,大大塊嘅肉肉不過個湯底就一般般啦最後仲有雪糕同生果好滿足嘅一個lunch ah食完已經即刻想嚟食第二次

相比起係MENU 上既SET, 我比較鍾情呢D 自選SUSHI SET.
8件SET $250, 12 件SET $390.
我地叫左$250 個款, 有D 款式有寫住只限叫一件, 
一見到時就諗, 唔通會有人叫哂8件UNI 或者8件OTORO>? 哈~ 諗起都開心~~~~
不過人係貪心既, 好似食多幾個款式會開心過全部食死一款..

我地都爭扎左8件叫D乜好呢?! 
除左自己心水外, 都問左店員有冇特別推介..
店員姐姐就介紹手寫既款式-- 鰤魚, 銀鱈. 因為佢地係SEASONAL 既款~
朋友就試哂呢兩款, 我就只試左銀鱈.

大TORO, 中TORO, 左口魚邊, 海膽,    象拔蚌, 赤貝, 帶子, 銀鱈, 配碎蔥吞拿魚腩卷.

我都係第一次食銀鱈魚SUSHI~ 哈~ 個感覺同左口魚差唔多, 
不過可以再肥美D~
SUSHI 質素好好, 值得呢個價錢~

差不多兩個月冇去銅鑼灣樓上鋪食壽司,忽然醒起已經有一段長時間沒有去過「天膳」,決定重回舊地。銅鑼灣地區雖然很多樓上鋪鮨店,但能夠長時間經營的並不太多,很多小店做了四五年就結束營業、或者改名、或者轉手變成另一間鮨店。印象之中,在銅鑼灣區屹立時間最長、直到今天仍然生存的只有寥寥數間:「廣」、「今村」、「天觴」。最早幫襯的就是「廣」,當年選擇唔多、所以人氣旺盛,亦曾經開設幾間分店;但亦因為太多客人,後期開始變得有點似流水作業式捏壽司,質素下降。適逢越來越多鮨店加入市場競爭,就轉去其他逐間品嚐,已有好長一段時間冇再去「廣」了。「天膳」內部間隔分開左右兩邊。右邊地方較細,佈置成為餐枱區;左邊空間較大,當然佈置成為壽司吧。未夠12:30去到,訂了位的客人尚未到達。當然,筆者也有訂位,並且揀了壽司吧枱的轉角位,方便一邊享受壽司、一邊傾計。每次去鮨店,一定指定坐壽司吧;既可以欣賞師傅手藝,又可以品嚐到最新鮮的壽司。有時候,又可以直接向師傅要求不要採用某些食材。「天膳」已經開業七至八年,唔似進行過任何翻新裝修,感覺有點過時。壽司吧的設計、擺放魚鮮刺身的雪櫃、壽司吧的設備等得,雖然全部都是傳統日本鮨店風格

「天膳」已經開業七至八年,唔似進行過任何翻新裝修,感覺有點過時。壽司吧的設計、擺放魚鮮刺身的雪櫃、壽司吧的設備等得,雖然全部都是傳統日本鮨店風格,但就顯得有點殘舊。餐廳同一時間最多可以招呼40幾位客人,總共有四位壽司師傅,裏面還有一個熟食廚房及和食廚師,另外還有三位侍應姐姐,人手尚算充裕。

每份午市定食都包括前菜、茶碗蒸及味噌湯。可能侍應姐姐並非年輕小姑姐,上菜時稍欠親切殷勤笑容,服務比起其他鮨店稍為遜色。前菜只是非常普通的海帶蘿蔔魚乾,而且太多水份,又冇鮮味,唔好食。味噌湯同樣失望,只是普通味噌湯加腐皮圈。

茶碗蒸有別於近年流行做法,沒有加入任何芡汁,味道有點單調。蒸蛋稍為稠身、但仍然滑溜,蛋香亦因為稠身而更濃;所以即使沒有芡汁,仍然好食。

雖然已經坐在壽司吧枱,但自選壽司定食(12件)($390)同樣是一次過整盤奉上,少了那種即時新鮮享用的優勢。不過,話說回頭,香港初代鮨店的午市壽司定食就是整盤奉上;只是近幾年開張的鮨店,才開始在午市壽司定食也採用逐件上的做法,營造更高級的感覺。12件壽司分別是大とろ油甘金目鯛BB吞拿帆立貝響螺赤貝牡丹蝦左口魚邊生鯖沙甸日本海膽鐵火卷 ⋯⋯ 點解變咗13件? 原來係大師傅特別送多一件 BB吞拿!食材新鮮有光澤,但未至於是最好質素;壽司造型及賣相亦有點參差。味道方面其實是可以的,只不過銅鑼灣有其他更加好的選擇。

鮨店竟然有兒童午餐($130),用了一架粉紅色仿車仔餐碟,大人見到都會忍不住話「嘩」一聲;如果可以再細心一點,男仔用車仔、女仔用公主南瓜車,小朋友一定更加開心。有一小片銀鱈西京燒、六小件卷物及天婦羅,基本上小朋友鍾意食的和食款都有齊。碰巧師傅有一個兩歲半的小女兒,所以主動與小女生攀談:「㚷鍾意三文魚、吞拿魚定吞拿魚蓉?」 小女:「三文魚。我要多啲,但又唔好太多!」結果,就有了六件三文魚卷物。

「天膳」老闆兼壽司大師傅非常健談,與坐在壽司吧枱的客人有講有笑,甚至談及家庭瑣事;與其他大部份鮨店師傅的拘謹及不苟言笑的待客態度有很大分別。12:30入座,1:45埋單;期間不斷有客人陸續到來,很多都是一家大細。師傅話有很多熟客由結婚前開始光顧,到現在變成一家四口,一齊到來用餐,相信必定與老闆的健談態度有很大關係。可能有人會覺得侍應姐姐的服務唔夠殷勤、壽司師傅們又有點隨心;但換過另一個角度,卻多了一份親切感。這裏的壽司未必係最出色,但如果想一家大細開開心心食正宗板前壽司、同時又想有其他熱和食選擇,「天膳」是銅鑼灣的不二選擇。

提三次, 食呢間記得記得要book位book位book位!如果lunch hour唔預早訂通常都會無位。有一日心血來潮想請朋友食個飯, 天膳就近近地。比較中意簡自選時令壽司既set lunch, 不過對上一次食係12月, 呢個已經加左20蚊價。每次黎都必點Fatty Tuna Belly同Medium Tuna Belly, 叫哂佢Mark左**既壽司就岩架喇! 呢兩件必定入口即溶, 次次都忍唔住第一件食呢舊, 肥美得黎有少少油脂。不過佢**推介既壽司每樣都只係可以點一舊, 如果唔係佢就蝕哂啦。食完飲啖荼, 下一件食左口魚邊, 個群邊燒左少少, 不過好快凍左就無咁香, 過得去! 日本海膽Oishi! 海膽鮮甜一D都唔腥, 唔細舊, 同埋好彩紫菜夠脆, 一啖過真係唔想佢係推介壽司可以點多幾件! 帶子同魷魚都係正路野, 叫左實無死, 唔叫又唔得啵!另外好喜歡碎蔥吞拿魚腩卷, 不嬲呢個組合就係皇牌, 而且吞拿魚腩走左筋, 唔會食食下突然有渣。唔選擇碎蔥吞拿魚腩卷都可以叫個冷/熱烏冬, 咁就飽肚D。茶碗蒸要第一時間襯熱食, 中間好夠料, 令你每食一啖都有蟹柳或者菇, 蛋亦都非常滑, 熱食就對了

without focusing on one part of Japanese cuisine, tenzen dips it's hand into sushi, yakitori, shabu shabu, dons and other facets of Japanese cuisine.surprisingly this does not hamper their quality, and each dish served to us was of an acceptable standard. the speed of their service was particularly remarkable, I'm surprised that their sushi chef has not yet chopped off a finger.
