今午和跳舞班同學相約在Tiffin吃lunch buffet, Grand Hyatt 最近推出優惠價(星期六4位$1818,12-2:30pm),唔算好平,但去到見到都有9乘滿,環境佈置非常有節日氣氛,打卡一流!而且,有琴師彈奏,感覺好舒服!消費$800有代客泊車(免費3小時)。食物方面,種類不算好多,沒有生蠔、魚生、中式菜肴、點心和炒粉炒麵等,但都頗足夠,因為吃得不多,又顧住吹水,味道都可以,唯一是燒牛肉略靱,服務也好👍🏻值得推介! continue reading

某天跟男友在萬豪食午市自助餐,閒談間他朋友知道了,說萬豪的是食牌子,不好吃,他還熱情的推薦說這間酒店自助餐好好味,還說了好幾遍,建議我們試試,說真的,個人不太相信他的眼光,不過男友有意想試,所以今日就來了。是日睡到自然醒,正值管理體重期間,每天吃自製午餐有點悶,所以就提出可以外出用膳,轉換一下心情,於是男友就有了“激情”,即日打電話訂檯,令人意外的是,餐廳竟然還有位置,但可惜是假期前夕,所有信用卡優惠都暫停,$518 再加一,喔,只能說即興就是沒優惠。到達餐廳時,發覺食客不太多,都沒有一半滿,心裡開始憂心,平常去的都最少7到8成滿,此刻竟然有點冷清?檯與檯間有點距離,不會太擠,環境是挺舒服,但非常寧靜反倒欠缺了點人氣。取餐區食物選擇不多,每個區域雖約有4至5款選項,但當飯、薯菜、蔬菜和薄餅等碳水品項都算進去的話,就意味著肉類和其他特色菜餚不是太多,這方面有點失望呢!熱食區:焗青口:調味可以,但青口有點腥香脆香鱸魚:魚肉好嚡和乾,本身沒什麼調味,要靠醬汁,可惜藏紅花忌廉汁太稀,調味也偏淡,忌廉味不夠濃,失望蕃茄汁炒蝦:蝦有點過熟,吃起來較硬實,只有很微的蝦鮮味,縱使蕃茄汁則正常發揮,調味適中,但整體水準都是麻麻大蒜薯仔炆肉腸配燒肉汁:腸仔有點香料味,味道有點怪,不太喜歡慢煮西班牙豬扒配蘋果洋蔥汁:汁味道正常,調味尚可,但豬扒本身非常乾嚡,而且有豬“除”,好難食印式牛油雞:雞肉不太嫩滑,有點嚡,而且調味太重,連我這個重口味的人都覺得好鹹,實在受不了焗蕃茄牛肉碎薯蓉:薯蓉滑身,但沒薯仔味,亦沒什麽調味,極淡。蕃茄免治牛肉碎整體調味同樣較淡,蕃茄味亦不濃,一般般吧!法式煙肉蛋批:帶點蛋香,但煙肉味略嫌未夠突出,整體調味適中,相比今日其他偏鹹或偏淡的菜餚而言,已算是吃得較舒服,但當然,也不是驚為天人的美味,因為味道比較單一,所以屬一般吧!而且多吃有點膩,只宜淺嚐炸魚薯條:薯條香脆,但調味不太平均,偶爾一兩條偏淡,大部分則好鹹,鹹得要喝水解決 炸魚外層脆漿香脆,整體調味合適,粉漿厚薄度合適,但脆漿多吃還是會飽膩的,故淺嚐就好。相比今日其他熱盤,它算是正常發揮,也算是比較好食的,但我花 $500 多不只是為了吃炸魚的....即切燒牛肉:牛肉肉質很嫩,但有很濃的騷味,不用再談味道,吃一口即可放棄白汁忌廉煙肉焗薯塊:薯仔有點薯仔味,口感軟糯,是挺不錯的,白汁 creamy 且有忌廉味,有淡淡的煙肉味,但略嫌煙肉沒有經過煎香烤脆,未能突出其焦香鹹香味,但整體來說,已是今日眾多熱葷中最好味的了,也是我 encore 最多的菜。不過,$500 多我不預算只食焗薯和炸魚,但無奈其他熱盤真的沒意欲 enocre,這也是我對今日熱盤類的評價。眼見熱盤款式少,又 9 成不太好食,於是開始轉試凍海鮮。蟹腳:欠鹹鮮味帶子:意外地帶點鮮味,不過肉質較實,整體可以一試,總比大部分熱盤好食熱盤、凍海鮮都失守,唯有寄望甜品區。甜品賣相挺好,但味道就....香蕉拖肥批:拖肥流心和香蕉溶味道不是太夾,吃第一口香蕉味較搶,有點蓋過了拖肥味。其實拖肥味道是挺好的,富奶香味,甜度適中,撻皮亦夠香脆,不會過硬,可惜多了香蕉,就感覺有點畫蛇添足RUM 酒提子乾焗芝士蛋糕:芝士蛋糕口感較實且綿密,芝士味和甜度均適中,味道不錯,吃過原味芝士蛋糕後,進而試試 RUM 酒提子這個配搭。蛋糕表面配有一小球提子 RUM 酒醬,入口先有好香 RUM 酒提子味,然後芝士味會慢慢散發出來,這個配搭挺有趣,亦美味。唯一美中不足的是,餅底雖帶點香脆,但部分位置未壓得夠幼細,仍有點小餅塊,所以吃起來比較硬,口感不好,而且餅底味道亦稍微偏甜,這部分需要改善一下呢!香橙伯爵茶撻:茶味太濃且太澀,橙味啫喱的味道完全被茶澀味蓋過,好難食英式朱古力蛋糕:表面的是黑朱古力cream,略嫌有點苦澀,且帶點酸味,個人雖然也會吃黑朱古力,但這個濃度太高了。至於底層是可可濃度較低的朱古力慕絲,味道偏甜,但整體還是被表面濃度較高的可可cream搶了風頭,如果不吃高濃度可可的朋友,可以skip經典英式士多啤梨忌廉:這個甜品有忌廉、新鮮草莓和脆脆。草莓略嫌比較酸,還好配上了甜忌廉,稍微中和了酸味,這個組合味道本是清新的,可惜表面的脆脆太甜了,影響本身和諧的味道,另外還隱約吃到有橘子味,這跟草莓又不太夾,整體一般曲奇類:整體略嫌曲奇甜度較低,麵粉味較重,質地亦比較乾硬,不夠鬆化。唯一比較好一點的是朱古力口味,帶點鹹,又帶點甜味,鹹甜比例適中,不過曲奇比較軟身,個人還是偏向口感較鬆脆的曲奇開心果蛋糕:太甜,堅果香較淡,麻麻貝殼蛋糕:質感像小蛋糕般札實,但味道太甜,減甜吃得會較舒服檸檬蛋糕:表層檸檬朱古力甜甜的,帶檸檬皮香,蛋糕體帶點綿密口感,牛油味較重,亦比較甜膩,整體一般拖肥布甸:拖肥味意外地變成紅棗糕味,布甸質地有點像砵仔糕,口感怪怪的,而且味道太甜,麻麻檸檬撻:沒有檸檬清香味,只有濃濃的檸檬澀味,撻整體味道太甜,總括來說,好像飲好澀口的檸檬茶般,不行!雪糕:要了焦糖味和草莓雪芭,草莓雪芭好甜,有點乳酪味,味道尚可,但多吃會有點膩。焦糖味相對較自然清淡點,帶點奶香,算是不錯其實,甜品普遍不太美味,只有一兩款可以入口,失望 綜合凍海鮮、熱盤和甜品方面的表現,是「不值此價」!服務方面,服務員整體是有禮的,收碟速度合理,但其他事項上,其效率和專業度就麻麻了,例如我向他們取乾紙巾,但良久都沒有給我,最後再叫他一遍,原來他是忘了....另外,衛生方面都請酒店注意一下,例如紙巾盒面有點醬汁污蹟和黑印,看了確實....我不預算在五星級酒店見到這樣的紙巾盒,難道都沒有經常注意清潔嗎?整體來說,無論食物、服務和衛生,都不是五星級酒店該有的水平。這個價格貴而不值喔!跟麗晶酒店的水準簡直不相伯仲,兩間都好差呢! continue reading

I never write a review but this afternoon tea experience was so bad leaving me very bitter from a hotel like Grand Hyatt. I feel like I wasted money, time and calorie quota from it. It's surprising how Grand Hyatt has remained in the 80s and not evolved in terms of service, food and creativity. 1.The service was 3 star max. A.My frd waited for 15mins after being seated before a waitress approached her.B. I asked for the their herbal tea ingredients as I am allergic to some ingredients, the waitress came back with an iphone to supposedly show me a screenshot of it but there was only description of the aroma which she did not bother reading what she was showing me.. then she left and came back with the tea bag and told me to see myself what's inside (is this a joke? as if I am a teaologist and can read what each leaf is?) C. We went ahead to order our tea finally and another waiter served me with my frd's tea. He did not bother telling me what it was or who it's for (if i was allergic to that tea who is reponsible?). He obviously just served without using his head and cared about who ordered what.2. The tea itself was all cold including the scone. The savory was so generic party finger food e.g. smoked salmon sandwich, beef tartare, and a foie gras pate.. The dessert was so sweet with cheap ingredients.. just very low quality. The only thing I finished were the cold scones which tasted worse than the ones I buy from a 10$ bakery ..The homemade icecream from the bar was super duper sweet and the cookie tasted like it's expired and left untouched for a very long time. Overall, the hotel needs ALOT of improvement with such a competitive market, you can't stay in the 80s with generic sub par food and service. I'm just so disappointed and never had such bad tea experience. I have nothing good to say about it and will not come back again. continue reading

一般酒店自助餐賣點都係貴價食材夠多,選擇豐富,樣樣都有。但茶園就走另外一條路線,佢以西式食物為主,種類唔算多但就講求每種食物嘅質素同特色。另外佢用餐時間特別長有四個鐘,環境又非常之舒適,仲有即場音樂演奏,氣氛真係無敵,舊年食過一次印象非常深刻。最近佢做咗一個65折優惠,即刻訂枱!同上次比較,大部分食物水準繼續高水準,包括自家製肝醬、威靈頓牛扒、羊扒、煙三文魚,生蠔都唔錯雖然比較細隻但味道濃郁。另外跟餐每人會有一隻龍蝦,可以選擇唔同煮法,我揀咗芝士焗。但有啲失望嘅係甜品,唔知係咪將貨就價選擇比較少,特別係之前做得好出色嘅自家製特別口味雪糕今次完全唔見,剩低嘅口味味道只係一般。另外依家好多自助餐除咗提供一杯餐飲之外都會無限提供簡單飲品,例如水果茶或者果汁,但係茶園仍然維持只提供清水,要加錢先可以有其他選擇,呢樣希望以後可以改善。另外當晚喺有優惠嘅情況下但都未滿座,真係有少少擔心,希望香港餐飲業盡快復甦。 continue reading

最近酒店做推廣,Tiffin 午餐幾乎六折,同男朋友兩個趁放假嚟食返餐。對上一次嚟已經係疫情前,以前幾乎一個月都會食一次。咁耐冇嚟水準依然保持得好好。酒店員工服務亦非常好,見番以前喺度嘅員工仲喺度,仲主動嚟打招呼!食物方面,比起大部份酒店自助餐,選擇當然係少,但係貴精不貴多,每一款都精緻 。尤其喜歡Tiffin 嘅 liver pate, 印度station 嘅咖喱(又印度廚師主理) 。Live carving 反而有少少失望,雞有啲乾,beef 不錯但冇乜驚喜 。雪糕station簡直令人打開第二個胃 。試咗佢哋嘅crepe suzette ,個人認為酒味太濃,可以減少啲橙酒 。因為係平日,又唔算多,環境清靜,坐窗口位置望到隔籬花園綠茵一片,休閒嘅午餐尚算滿意! continue reading
