這是我第二次光顧此店,想番起對上嗰次已係好幾年了,當時其中一位同事(現已離職)好鐘意試新野,又愛咖哩,所以便同佢到這裡吃咖哩,沒有太大印象,不過若果好好味,我諗我一定會幫襯得密啲。事隔咁多年再嚟,純粹係唔知食乜好,行到咁上下舉頭一看便是這個招牌,於是決定入內再試。當時大概12時正,未到太古坊放飯時間,所以餐廳仍有大量座位,我們被安排在冷巷附近既二人枱,枱上已放了餐具及是日餐牌,可選既款式唔多,羊﹑雞﹑魚﹑蝦同雜菜咖哩5款,可配 Naan Bread或白飯,雖然同是咖哩,但辣度﹑煮法各有不同,如Masala﹑加蕃茄既等等,其實我想吃牛的,但唔知點解冇,所以點了平時唔係成日吃既羊。朋友知我唔食魚唔食菜,所以點了蕃茄咖哩雞,我地兩個都選擇配 Naan Bread。店員問我地飲唔飲野,本來我想試芒果酸乳酪,但同事話佢唔啱飲,所以我都唔敢點,只係請店員給我們兩杯水,繼而主動送上餐湯,望落去乳白色杰撻撻,我一向唔好餐湯,所以只試了一小口,真係好杰,亦唔知自己飲梗乜,所以冇飲哂。未幾咖哩同 Naan Bread 都嚟了,好快,應該一早煮定,轉眼間餐廳已坐滿人,勁!我地趁咖哩尚熱趕快吃,味道都係一般啦

店員問我地飲唔飲野,本來我想試芒果酸乳酪,但同事話佢唔啱飲,所以我都唔敢點,只係請店員給我們兩杯水,繼而主動送上餐湯,望落去乳白色杰撻撻,我一向唔好餐湯,所以只試了一小口,真係好杰,亦唔知自己飲梗乜,所以冇飲哂。未幾咖哩同 Naan Bread 都嚟了,好快,應該一早煮定,轉眼間餐廳已坐滿人,勁!我地趁咖哩尚熱趕快吃,味道都係一般啦!印度烤餅冇乜味亦冇麵粉香。

一個午餐HK$58不用加一,其實都幾貴,因為我唔覺得特別好味,不過同區真係得佢同另一間,冇乜競爭,所以多年來生意不減,又或佢只係唔啱我地口味,因為同場都見唔少外籍人士幫襯架!不過我就唔會再嚟,如想食印度咖哩,我寧願去重慶E7好了!

時下興米豬蓮,拎到星既餐廳有保證?獲推介的就是好食?我未能一一去試,但係在家附近有一間,梗係去買個外賣啦是但叫個偉大既咖哩雞,加個GARLIC NAAN咖哩賣相很豐富,味道比正宗咖哩來講比較簡單,無咁多層次,嚴格來講香料味不夠濃,可能係為了就香港人口味吧.這是中辣的版本,但食落屬少辣,咖哩味不夠濃.雞也不滑,但不至鞋口.GARLIC NAAN蒜味不足,餅底不夠脆.送既薄脆也是求其整片比我的感覺.總括而言,味道中等,不屬上品又話米豬蓮有保證

是但叫個偉大既咖哩雞,加個GARLIC NAAN

咖哩賣相很豐富,味道比正宗咖哩來講比較簡單,無咁多層次,嚴格來講香料味不夠濃,可能係為了就香港人口味吧.這是中辣的版本,但食落屬少辣,咖哩味不夠濃.雞也不滑,但不至鞋口.
GARLIC NAAN蒜味不足,餅底不夠脆.送既薄脆也是求其整片比我的感覺.

總括而言,味道中等,不屬上品

又話米豬蓮有保證

A nice little find tucked in the back of a small shopping centre.  Polite, welcoming staff despite the restaurant being about 75% full. Quick service. Very tasty Indian food which was a surprise to find in a non touristy area of HK.  The hydrabad biryani was tasty, dry (a positive thing, not soaking in oil) and very spicy which was a great find. The chicken curry my wife had also had much good taste. Nice breads too. This will be a place one returns to when Indian food is needed.

A nice little find tucked in the back of a small shopping centre.  Polite, welcoming staff despite the restaurant being about 75% full. Quick service. Very tasty Indian food which was a surprise to find in a non touristy area of HK.  The hydrabad biryani was tasty, dry (a positive thing, not soaking in oil) and very spicy which was a great find. 平時很少有意見的C小姐這天帶我去吃印度菜,就在公司附近,非常就腳,只是地點有點隱蔽罷了,在一個小mall裡面。聽C小姐說這店已經開業很久了,menu這麼久都沒有變過,她不用看都知道要吃什麼。我研究了一下,也很快做了決定。Chicken Tikka Makhani with Garlic Naan $68 (8/10)看中文名字很有趣:茄汁咖喱雞。第一個問題浮在腦海裡的是:「茄汁又點樣咖喱呢?」,也是因為這麼問題讓我對它有點好奇。茄汁跟咖喱都是比較搶戲的汁料,放在一起到底誰會贏?這裡的答案是咖喱。基本上茄汁就像香料像藥引,微辣中有股蕃茄香,但咖喱味很濃很重。雞肉倒是沒什麼特別,不是很嫩但不o鞋口就是了。另加$10換的Garlic Naan也算是物有所值。蒜茸味夠出,Naan也不會太油,剛剛好,配咖喱同吃永遠都是我的favourite~Lamb Masala $58沒吃過就不點評了,C小姐永遠的選擇。份量看起來跟我的也是差不多,Masala一般都有很重的印度咖喱香料,但C小姐吃不得辣所以辣度應該還好。羊肉感覺還蠻腍的,反而飯的份量有點嚇倒。Samosa $8 (4/10)午餐set加$8有

聽C小姐說這店已經開業很久了,menu這麼久都沒有變過,她不用看都知道要吃什麼。我研究了一下,也很快做了決定。

看中文名字很有趣:茄汁咖喱雞。第一個問題浮在腦海裡的是:「茄汁又點樣咖喱呢?」,也是因為這麼問題讓我對它有點好奇。茄汁跟咖喱都是比較搶戲的汁料,放在一起到底誰會贏?這裡的答案是咖喱。基本上茄汁就像香料像藥引,微辣中有股蕃茄香,但咖喱味很濃很重。雞肉倒是沒什麼特別,不是很嫩但不o鞋口就是了。另加$10換的Garlic Naan也算是物有所值。蒜茸味夠出,Naan也不會太油,剛剛好,配咖喱同吃永遠都是我的favourite~

沒吃過就不點評了,C小姐永遠的選擇。份量看起來跟我的也是差不多,Masala一般都有很重的印度咖喱香料,但C小姐吃不得辣所以辣度應該還好。羊肉感覺還蠻腍的,反而飯的份量有點嚇倒。

Samosa $8 (4/10)
午餐set加$8有一個Samosa,C小姐推薦的,我也樂得試一下。也許我吃慣中式咖喱角,餡料不用太多但一定要脆而不膩,這是我的準則。這隻印度咖喱角反而像油角,明顯餡料超多,但外皮一點都不脆,而且附上的醬汁有點怪,青草味加奶味,不行,真的不是我的菜。

雖然咖哩角不行,但主菜還不錯,價錢也算商宜,最重要是吃完出來不會一身咖喱味,不失為一個不錯的午飯地方。

個人鐘意千層烤餅多D, 比較薄身, 蒜蓉烤餅就厚D但蒜蓉味可以再勁D

期間侍應時不時都會問下我地岩唔岩食咁, 又會介紹食D咩好, 服務唔錯,
環境清靜, 情侶或朋友幾個人傾下計唔錯

抵達時間尚早,人不多,印度人主人家招呼周到,坐位雖稍為狹窄,但整潔舒適印度烤肉料理說是肉類料理,但其實肉的份量有限,烤雞味道不錯,咖哩中的牛肉頗硬,不太入味咖哩味道不算濃,辣度適中易入口,或令重口味的朋友失望椰汁咖哩魚配烤餅友人點的菜,反映指椰汁甜味頗濃,咖哩完全不辣,適合喜歡甜咖哩的朋友烤餅份量很「澎湃」,友人讚沒有油酥味芒果乳酪偏甜,乳酸味挺濃,上桌時飲品是室溫的,冷凍後味道應更佳友人說乳酪能解辣,但由於主菜的咖哩不辣,解辣功能用不上了若想光顧,建議早一點到場,餐廳坐位不多,午餐時間開始不久,已有食客在門外等侯了

Other Info. : 以前亦幫襯過印度人主理的餐廳,咖哩同樣偏淡,不及「香港咖哩」,後者是加重口味迎合港人嗎? 還未嚐試過地度咖哩,懷疑正宗印度咖哩,是偏淡的嗎?

假期前夕, 搵食指數突然標升!!!路過太古坊, 突然醒起當年港澳一推出米芝蓮指南, 呢度附近就即刻有間印度餐廳拎到「米芝蓮精選食肆」榮銜, 想試好耐, 但一直醒唔起去試... 擇日不如撞日, 就而家去喇...去到門口, 有d猶疑... 點解... 羅勒呢個名咁陌生嘅呢... 但係位置又一樣, 裝修又一樣, 門口都一樣係放住「米芝蓮精選食肆」嘅牌, 只係由2009年改咗做2012年... 以為自己冇記性, 寫Blog時做資料搜集時發現, 原來之前2009年拎到米芝蓮精選食肆果名叫「皇轎印度餐廳 Palki Indian Cuisine」, 2010年時已經Close咗, 轉咗而家個名!!!餐廳入面都幾企理, 真係出乎意料之外... 因為... 呢個商場都幾噏耷吓...我地6點鬆d去到, 未開冷氣, 好焗... 店主隔咗一陣走埋o黎開冷氣, 個天花機係正我地頭頂, 太太太大風, d o野食凍得過快... 我加件外套都凍到滕滕震...6點半先有客入o黎, 話Book咗位... 到我地食完鬆人, 都再冇人客入過o黎...初o黎步到, 都唔知食咩好, 網上嘅參考又唔多, 多數都係食Lunch嘅C

初時見個2人餐有咁多o野食, 仲擔心會食唔晒, 已經計劃好打包個炒飯走, 點知食物份量出奇地細, 結果食晒所有食物都唔係好覺飽...

想食印度菜, 行遠少少去筲箕灣, 恆河同皇子呢2間印度菜好食兼抵食得多~

We shared a dish of samosas - three pieces (HK$30)
I had the dahl makhani (HK$55) my friend had tandoori chicken half (HK$68) and we had garlic naan.
The chicken smelled and looked delicious and my friend said she was happy with it. I suspect a miscommunication with the waiter ended up in us being given two servings instead of one. My dahl was tasty and as I had asked them to hold back on the butter and cream, not too greasy. The naan was very buttery and fresh. I would recommend this as comfort food if you decide to go to this restaurant.
Sadly the service was just awful. The serving staff seemed completely disinterested in the clients, and there was the inevitable wait for the bill.
The thing is that the food was not good enough to lure me back for that kind of service.

This is the only Indian restaurant left in Quarry Bay and Taikoo area. Today is Sunday, this resturant opens 6-11pm on Sunday. We arrived at 6:35pm and there was only 2 customers. We ordered Tandoori chicken, which was very fresh and tasty, not like frozen chicken. We also ordered curry prawn, spinch with cheese, samosa, naan, garlic naan and roati, Masala tea and lime soda. Everything was made immediately and very hot when they arrived within 10 minutes. My husband loves samosa, he said they were very fresh.

My 7 years old loves naan and he ate 2 pieces even after he ate the food I brought for him to eat in the restaurant. I was thinking everything there is spicy for him. I asked the waitress if they can make non spicy Indian fried rice, she said they would if we let them know when we ordered. So we can come next time without worrying about my son's meal, which is nice.

They also deliver within Taikoo and Quarry Bay area if you order $200 or more. You can check the menu in their website, http://www.tulsi.com.hk/ and call them to order. In their website, there is 20% discount coupon for dine in dinner. We print it out and took it with ustonight
. The whole meal, including 10% service charge, was $297. We think it was a good deal. They also have a coupon for a free bottle of wine when you spend $500 or above for lunch or dinner.

Tulsi is an excelent place for Indian food. At first I expected that food would be like one of these chinese miked with some Indian style, like what we get in Singapore or Malaysia. But this was fantastic. The food was amazing, spices used seems to have been brought from India. This place is highly recomended.

今日lunch 去咗鰂魚涌一個舊商場搵食, 見到呢間餐廳set lunch HK$65蚊一份, 因為時間尚早未夠12:45 入面仲有位, 拿臨入去唔駛諗啦...招呼的侍應全是印藉人士, 要咩有咩, 但又唔會'懶'慇勤, 都恰到好處, 唔錯! 睇番餐牌好多選擇, 反而唔知叫咩好, 都係叫番set lunch (Non-Veg), 樣樣都有啲, 可以試多啲嘢, 有幾兜細細的羊, 牛, 雞, 各有不同的香料/咖哩味道, 有脆薄片同薄餅各一塊, 餐前有湯, 餐後有咖啡或茶, Mango Lassi 就係唔要餐茶將飲品upgrade 加錢換嘅; 全部食品都算 OK, '正路'食呢啲嘢就係番呢啲味咁囉, 我唔會話'好好味'呀, 但真係OK o架....anyway, 咁嘅價錢都OK喇, 最重要係後來一到1點正, 全場坐滿晒都唔太糟, 可能因為當中有幾枱都係西方人的關係, 不得不承認真係無咁嘈之巴閉, 呢區食lunch通常都要忍受'全場氣氛熾熱, 人聲鼎沸'嘅環境, 呢度聲量起碼減半, 可以細細聲傾到偈, 唔駛嗌到拆樓咁, 真係'難得', 食晒嘢, 其實出面一直有幾個人等緊位, 我留意到侍應係
