相信大家也知道觀塘的工廈非常之多,所以要發掘又好食又靚的Cafe絕對不難~但係要好似這一間,空間大,設計與大自然木材相關的Cafe實在罕見去的當日是週末,所以人數較多,進門之後看到幾乎座無虛席,而且已經有大概四五台的客人在等位,本身預計需要排隊等候時間很長,不過等待嘅時間可以坐在旁邊嘅木凳一邊行雜誌一邊參觀傢俬的設計,所以等待的時間不知不覺完了餐牌非常簡潔可選的午餐種類不多卻有意想不到的高質素。今天點了一個芝士辣肉腸墨西哥餡餅$68 和一杯Flat White$38,雖然餐廳滿客,但上菜時間很快芝士辣肉腸墨西哥餡餅的放盤非常漂亮,依然與Cafe主題連貫, 以木材為碟盤放置食物,絕對適合喜歡打卡的朋友在第一口吃下餡餅嘅時候,餡餅薄而脆身特別是旁邊的皮,口感像脆片般的口感,非常可口,再加上芝士和辣肉腸嘅份量非常之多,所以每咬一口都感覺材料快從餡餅中掉下來而Flat White,配上微辣的墨西哥餡餅剛好,味道不會掩蓋食物的香味,一流配搭

芝士辣肉腸墨西哥餡餅的放盤非常漂亮,依然與Cafe主題連貫, 以木材為碟盤放置食物,絕對適合喜歡打卡的朋友



在第一口吃下餡餅嘅時候,餡餅薄而脆身
特別是旁邊的皮,口感像脆片般的口感,非常可口,再加上芝士和辣肉腸嘅份量非常之多,所以每咬一口都感覺材料快從餡餅中掉下來



而Flat White,配上微辣的墨西哥餡餅剛好,味道不會掩蓋食物的香味,一流配搭

之前就知道觀塘工廈有很多特色cafe,這次去是被名字吸引到「廿一由八」表面上看起來不懂意思,但原來加起來看是「黃」,中午放luch時去可以放鬆一下上班時的疲累。餐廳佔地二千尺左右,但三分一的空間是木工作坊和販售木作品的地方,被木製品和植物圍繞著,窗外透入幾縷陽光,非常悠閒自得。 食物選擇不算多,但非常有特色,更有些fusion菜,十分有創意,我選擇了磅蛋糕,咬下去鬆軟有蛋香,入面亦加入了杏脯醬,甜而不膩增添不少層次。

上左來呢到食係因為佢係💛色既. 一入到去就好有文青Cafe既感覺~ 舖頭有一邊係木工場、另一邊係Cafe.我Order左個煙三文魚藜麥薯餅佢無跟餐既、飲品就要分開order. 所以價錢都唔算平薯餅size 唔算大,當Tea食都Ok. 味道好Fresh.感覺好健康。朋友order既意粉佢話幾特別、雖然唔知係咩醬汁,但係整體感覺都好好。我都好少黎呢D 文青地方、呢到比我既感覺都好舒服,仲有隻好可愛既黑貓Tim!

原隻軟殼蟹已經讓人驚喜萬分,炸得酥脆可口卻不油膩更是喜出望外。軟殼蟹裡頭竟然還有膏,不會太鹹的味道剛剛好。米型麵的質感很獨特,明明是意粉卻長著米的形狀,形態有點像意大利飯卻又帶著粒粒分明的乾爽質地。這裡利用了香檸和薑黃作調味,再加入松子提升口感,份量看似不多卻很有飽腹感。

當時被陽光照射得有點熱,所以點了一杯Dirty,看著Espresso已經與牛奶融合一起,並緩緩地在牛奶中沉澱也是一件寫意的事。指尖觸碰那玻璃杯是冰涼的感覺,輕輕呷上一口是香濃的味道。看著陽光穿過玻璃杯在原木桌子上透射出來的影子,這畫面實在唯美。

來到廿一由八,絕對不可不試他們的Tiramisu,只要稍為來遲一步都會出現售罄的情況,要是將它追捧為鎮店之寶也不為過,好吃得可以推上神枱之處在於只要你親身品嚐過後,相信你也會認為它是人生中吃過最好味的Tiramisu。只要將匙羹輕輕放進Tiramisu中已經會有驚喜的感覺,當中的Mascarpone做得好滑溜、流動性很高,中間更以麻糬作夾層,是比較特別和罕見的做法,實在值得一試。

I told the chef that my grandma prefers something pink and colourful and there she made a lovely classy cake. Great deal! It was only around $350! Will order cake from here again to try the other flavours

比較兩者的顏色也差不多,所以latte 雖然多點奶味,但也保存到一定的咖啡香味。而Cappuccino 的咖啡會更濃厚一點,而酸澀的味道也是更特出一 點。

煙三文魚藜麥番薯餅擺盤好精緻,影靚相好啱,唔好睇佢好細份得3件咁,其實藜麥同番薯本身都係纖維多同飽肚嘅食材,亦未食過咁樣配搭嘅菜式,食落好有新鮮感,口感方面幾有咬口,而且幾香甜,幾好。
蕃茄羅勒ricotta 扁意粉上面有啲ricotta 芝士(不過張相影唔到),蕃茄味真係好濃,而且食到有堅果同羅勒嘅香味,意粉咬口亦都非常好,ricotta 配蕃茄同意粉真係幾時都咁夾,唯獨咁啱翡翠苗纖維比較粗,有啲格格不入。

仲有另一樣好重要嘅,舖頭會有隻長毛黑貓,但佢應該比較怕生保人,所以都係遠遠咁望住,行近啲就會走開,多人啲嘅時間會唔見埋添,但佢實在好靚,好難唔幫佢影返啲相。

朋友之前食過,今次帶我嚟食,驚冇位所以12點就即刻打去book位,不過去到發現都唔算多人一出lift就見到廿一由八入到去就見到好多木嘅傢私,感覺好舒服Menu好簡單,冇乜選擇我揀咗紙包挪威三文魚配香檸薑黃米型麵,餐有沙律沙律正常,都幾fresh而三文魚比我想像中好食,唔乾唔鞋第一次食呢種米型麵,好似食緊飯咁,冇乜特別,朋友就覺得酸咗啲另外仲叫咗挪威煙三文魚藜麥蕃薯餅配牛油果醬,呢個配搭幾好食,同埋感覺好健康飲品揀咗flat white同hojicha latte朋友話呢到啲咖啡好飲,不過我係麻麻地咖啡,所以揀咗焙茶latte,出面都好似比較少見,多數都係抹茶latte飲落都好味,不過我覺得可以再苦少少呢到環境好舒服,好靜,好啱坐喺到hea下,不過可惜我要趕住返工,下次有機會再嚟relax(同埋價錢都偏貴,我個沙律+麵+latte已經$170)

Came across this gem yesterday. The usual Western restaurant setup, but this one actually serves good quality food. The main gig is either the woodshop furniture they are making next door, and there were two to three designers/ sales typing their way. They have a small corner opens up for cafe/ food. The food is slight bit on the higher-end, but acceptable price, and honestly so much better than the quality of other Kwun Tong Western restaurants I have been to. The quiet vibe is a great add. Bec

The food is slight bit on the higher-end, but acceptable price, and honestly so much better than the quality of other Kwun Tong Western restaurants I have been to. The quiet vibe is a great add. Because there are only some bar stools and 2 - 3 tables, the capacity is about 30?

The sweet thing is that you can tell they really cared about the cooking, the kitchen has a huge window looking in, and the kitchen is almost as big as the serving area. Definitely a good sign. Honestly I wouldn't hope it gets filled so fast or gets famous like that (yes with my golden touch, and my one magical post), as it is my little getaway now.

The parchment baked Norway Salmon with lemon tumeric orzo was my favorite. The salmon was nice, but I loved how juicy and round the orzo is. Every little bit is quite flavorful.

The super marhjerita linguini with rocotta was another great one, and the most popular item. A lot of tables were having this dish. They weren't stingy on the cheese! The dish tasted quite Western, rather than a interpretation a HK staff would do, which is the problem of a lot of the Western restaurant in Kwun Tong, where they just use the style of dish to upcharge.... You know, money-for-value is a big thing for me. I can tell the chef here is trained properly

Kale salad and smoked salmon quinoa cake were no surprises. Not too bad, tasted healthy jaja. Love the health-centric menu, and loved the coffee because I like my coffee just like me, dirty ;).

自脫離學生時代後,已沒有上樓上CAFE。個人樓上CAFE興趣不大,也甚少主動到訪。從網上看到廿一由八,名字很特別,原來是有故事的,一看到,便決定拜訪。跟一般樓上的CAFE不一樣,不是粉嫩浮誇的色系,沒有殘破的boardgame。而是暖色木系設計,一半是木工場,一半是咖啡廳。咖啡廳,擺滿了木系家具,玻璃用品等。大多是桃木槐木,木理通直,木色優雅,彷彿是被一堆藝術品包圍。先下單,取牌子,便能安坐待店員送上食物。香梨薑黃吉士蛋糕蛋糕的外皮烤得香脆,嚐下是濕潤的,夾著香甜的梨子粒,有淡淡的薑味,是很溫和,甜度適中的蛋糕。惠顧任何食品,可+$10換購小蛋糕或曲奇,瓶子加了香蕉燕麥曲奇,曲奇外脆內軟,沒有半分油膩的感覺。Coffee Tonic夏日來杯較清新的飲料,就是最愛的Espresso + Tonic water,酸酸甜甜,飲品的分層也很漂亮。
