帶上海嘅客人嚟食飯,都係揀呢度最穩陣。大家都係食肉獸,叫咗個黑椒香草牛柳粒夠惹味,懷舊中式煎牛柳都唔錯,牛肉軟腍嫩滑,口味酸甜開胃。仲試埋個荔茸香酥玉帶子,外層香酥,蓉滑而唔漏,帶子新鮮,個客最鍾意係呢道,話未試過咁嘅做法。食埋個黃金奶皇煎堆仔,成餐好滿足。啲侍應見生面口都會主動介紹,講解都好詳細。今次揀咗二樓樓梯附近有十八定十二羅漢個位,環境舒服啲,啱傾生意。最後啲客仲要求買佢哋個XO醬番上海。

中環行完街諗住搵個地方坐低食嘢。鏞記依然保持到傳統酒樓嘅格調,但又唔會老土,裝修夠晒靚,啱晒影相。叫咗個黑椒香草牛柳粒,黑椒配埋啲香草夠惹味,牛肉嫩滑又唔會太生,啱啱好!個人推薦個炭燒蔥油叉燒包,啲包仔軟綿綿又唔會散,叉燒夠香又唔會太甜,個蔥油香到出面都聞到!最後仲試咗個原盅花膠燉螺片,啲湯清甜又滋潤,啱晒天氣轉涼飲。坐喺窗邊望住出面嘅中環景色,慢慢享受個餐真係幾寫意。座位舒適,侍應態度都OK,但建議lunch time最好早啲嚟,唔係等位都要等一陣。

肥到不行的燒鵝,咬下去就覺得,鵝肉也太肥美了吧!沒吃過這麼肥美的鵝肉,一般對鵝肉的印象是稍微偏硬的,但這個口感卻很軟,口感好不說,味道更是一絕。鏞記燒鵝的烤乳豬也是好厚一塊,皮烤的超級脆,原汁原味。

白切雞冇咩技術可言,依賴嘅只係隻雞本身嘅質素,但呢碟雞睇嚟連基本味道都做唔到。雞肉普遍鞋口,好似煮得過熟,但其實可能根本係隻雞唔夠靚,肉質較差。鋪面嗰幾件雞髀算係嫩啲,但雞皮又厚又膩。以呢個價錢嚟講,呢碟白切雞真係欠缺説服力。

*椒鹽炸魷魚:全場最有水準的一道菜*
成晚最令人滿意嘅反而係呢碟椒鹽炸魷魚。魷魚炸得啱啱好,外脆內嫩,口感爽彈,調味嘅椒鹽唔會太重,但又有層次感,仲帶少少微辣,令人一啖接一啖。雖然只係一個好普通嘅小菜,但表現反而勝過其他貴價菜,幾乎可以話係全場最有水準嘅一碟。

*服務:收碟收得太勤力,搞到好似趕住食*
VIP房環境睇落體面,但服務有啲過火。男服務員一路都不停收碟,個客明明隻碟啲嘢都未食完就拎走,要個客扯住隻碟。跟住我哋一台人喺度講嘢個服務員又插嘴問個客,我覺得佢應該先企喺我哋旁邊有啲示意,咁我哋負責點菜的同事就會主動問佢,但佢成日走到個客嘅老闆嗰度。

*結論:名氣大,味道麻麻,宴客需三思*
鏞記VIP房環境高級,名氣十足,但食物嘅水準並唔匹配佢嘅價錢。「美人肉卷抱珠簾」食完冇咩感覺,燒鵝唔脆又偏靭,白切雞就冇乜味道。唯一令人滿意嘅反而係椒鹽炸魷魚,但講到尾,呢間餐廳靠嘅係歷史同名聲,未能提供令人回味嘅菜式。對於打算喺呢度安排商務聚餐嘅人,我會建議三思,呢個價錢可以揀其他地方,菜式質素同性價比可能會更加符合宴客嘅要求。

從小就來這間老字號吃飯,今次相隔很久再次光臨,心中有數是貴的,叫個例牌燒鵝,燒鵝皮不脆,肉韌一個致命點 (我都經常到國內品嚐有口感嘅鵝鴨雞,所以才感到什麼叫韌什麼叫口感),沒有在堂食的感覺,此外買回家吃的溫度,所以感到失望。跟住叫咗個頭抽炒斑球,魚肉很鮮味,做得不錯,只是份量少了一點。反而最出色就係個甜品,叫咗個熱嘅荔芋西米露,很出色,員工態度非常好,有禮貌,但主體食品不理想,尤其出名嘅燒鵝,有改善嘅空間。
