Full of anticipation to try this unique Nordic gastronomy fining dining restaurant at Poho area. The ambiance, lighting, open counter kitchen (not the main cooking area) were all very pleasant and cosy. Tried the 7-course menu with 3-glass wine pairing. Every dish was innovative, pretty and delicious; well deserved Michelin star. The only room for improvement is the service details - the server removed our bread (and the yummy signature butter) without asking us, and the chef did not ask us and assign the choice of dessert to us (quite weird feeling!) Chefs and servicing team need more passion in making the experience truly star-rated and hearty (some of them looked “meh” or tired). continue reading

1 🌟 Michelin Nordic fusion restaurant @frantzenskitchen at Sheung Wan. The restaurant is a 3 🌟🌟🌟 Michelin restaurant in Stockholm. Wanted to visit for a while, finally came here for lunch! Requested for the kitchen table & I love the vibes in here! Feels like dining in Europe ☺️ wouldn’t say the food is super amazing but I really enjoyed the dining experience in here! We took the “sharing is caring” menu for two ($1288) the set includes all 7 courses available for lunch/ 3 glasses wine pairing ($328) and of cause we add the signature truffle french toast($125) truffle french toast: signature one 👍 worth trying. The bread is served warm & soft. Truffle & cream on top. Superb sourdough-one of the best, it’s sooooo good. We refilled it for 3 times 😹😹 the chef told us it’s from bakehouseFirst starter: salmon- averageSecond starter: seasonal vegetables- I really enjoy this although it’s vegetables 😂 scallop- not bad!😋First main:Cod- love this 😍 it’s perfectly cooked with super rich sauce👍My fav in here apart from the truffle french toast and sourdough 🤣Second main: chicken breast- is actually not bad but I expect more from this price and restaurant 🙈desserts: thyme ice cream and blackcurrant sorbet- desserts never go wrong in fine dining restaurants haha. I love the thyme ice cream! 🥰Lunch ard $1000 pp including food & alcohol continue reading

I ordered a four course dinner. To start with, it’s French toast, with seasonal truffle, balsamic vinegar, aged cheese and truffle sea. It’s so delicious and full of truffle taste! Love it😍!Then I had scallop as my first course. Also, we served bread with their signature brown butter. Love the brown butter and bread a lot! I had beef tenderloin as my second course. The beef was yummy too! I had Rasberry creme brûlée.I also selected three wine pairing. The three suggested wine matched my food well. What a enjoyable night! continue reading

We sat next to window and the environment was comfortable.I ordered a four course dinner. For snacks, I ordered Chawanmushi, which consists of cauliflower, blue mussel, lobster bisque and caviar. The presentation was pretty and the taste was good, full of caviar! Then we had bread , with their signature brown butter! That’s sooo yummy! Can’t stop eating, although I avoid eating carbohydrates! Then I had scallop as my 1st course. It’s ok.I had grilled lobster as my second. The lobster was fine and I especially love it’s deep fried black rice. Taste special and good. Finally I had matcha green tea sorbet. It’s ok.Nice environment, service and food, but better check it’s drinks price before order. Overall , the experience was good and will revisit. continue reading
