Wanted to try for so long and finally went tonight. Arrived at 7:30 and got the seats at 9:15pm (long wait! Yet at least we didn't have to wait outside but went for a drink beforehand until the seats were ready - usually they would call you once it's your turn)We ordered..1) LB fries - absolutely loved this as we love sambal taste. Wanted to try for so long and finally went tonight. Arrived at 7:30 and got the seats at 9:15pm (long wait! Yet at least we didn't have to wait outside but went for a drink beforehand until the seats were ready - usually they would call you once it's your turn)

We ordered..
1) LB fries - absolutely loved this as we love sambal taste. Very yummy
2) mushroom salad - I thought it's quite nice too although my girlfriend thought it was just ok
3) eggplant shiso pork tempura - not as good as expected, perhaps the ume ponzu dip did not go too well with it (well, not for us)
4) Mac & cheese - again, not as good as expected (had pretty high expectation after reading all the reviews) the sauce and the topping was good however I think id prefer the traditional mac rather than steam rice roll
 
5) pork belly bao - yummilicious!!! This is my favourite of the night, super juicy and the pork belly was exquisite, the dressing and salad was brilliant. I wish I have room for more but was too full. Love it!!
6) fish tempura bao - love the tamarind glaze and although we can't really taste the lemongrass but there was some ginger (? The yellow thingy) which makes it much more special and tasty. Yummy too!
7) fried green tea bao - honestly I thot it would be a wow for me but it did not;) it taste good but maybe I'd prefer some other taste than green tea Icecream lol
8) also order the drink special drunk baby j (?) which got spiced rum, mulled wine (?), cinnamon etc - I love mulled wine and cinnamon and although I usually do not like rum I do like this drink too!!

overall speaking, i think the wait is worth it and I'm so happy tonight that I finally got to try it. I'd definitely come back for the fries and bao bao!!!!!!

近期最受歡迎既包係咩包?每個人心目中可能有唔同既答案,但我相信有唔少人都會同我一樣揀LITTLE BAO既 LB ice cream sandwich(fried bao with green tea ice cream) 綠茶雪糕包!呢間小店位於中環半山區,近蘇豪位置,所以現場都會見到唔少外藉人士呢!店鋪標誌係一個可愛既巨型BB,店員都幾NICE,有啲店員會主動同客人聊天同埋了解食物質素同改進既地方。LB ice cream sandwich(fried bao with green tea ice cream) ($48)比較保守既人可能會諗,綠茶雪糕包...會唔會不倫不類?其實呢種擔心係多餘,因為呢款綠茶雪糕包可以話係中西合壁既完美例子。包可以話係炸饅頭,炸得香脆唔會乾身而且鬆軟。綠茶雪糕同煉奶好夾,綠茶雪糕雖然綠茶味唔算太濃但都幾香而且幾順滑,好食!$48一個包,我會話係值既!一直都計劃再嚟到呢間小店,但聽朋友說近期等位都要等2個鐘...希望有朋友會陪我再來吧。

比較保守既人可能會諗,綠茶雪糕包...會唔會不倫不類?其實呢種擔心係多餘,因為呢款綠茶雪糕包可以話係中西合壁既完美例子。包可以話係炸饅頭,炸得香脆唔會乾身而且鬆軟。綠茶雪糕同煉奶好夾,綠茶雪糕雖然綠茶味唔算太濃但都幾香而且幾順滑,好食!$48一個包,我會話係值既!

一直都計劃再嚟到呢間小店,但聽朋友說近期等位都要等2個鐘...希望有朋友會陪我再來吧。

It was a Wednesday night and we arrived at Little Bao at 7. There was already a queue outside n the staff told us it will be a 30-min wait. We walked around the area n returned at 7:30. In general the food was unique - in a positive way. It would be great if they could void the "no bao cutting" rule, as it really was a bit difficult to bite without spilling the filling.

Little Bao is definitely worth a try, even if you're just here for desser! LB ice cream sandwich (fried bao with green tea ice cream):

睇到其他食評講到佢咁特別咪諗住去試下囉... 點知覺得真係麻麻地叫左 mac and cheese, pork belly bao, fries, short rib dumplings.個pork belly bao食落好似叉燒包… 佢只係個樣唔叉燒包mac and cheese 好油fries我覺得泰國味幾得意 朋友覺得勁怪dumplings都幾特別既 不過係怪果隻特別...都唔係唔好食既… 但係真係俾d好評呃左

在剛過去的星期四已經想試試這間新開的餐廳,可惜晚上九時多去到的時候仍有一條長龍,肚餓得很的我只好放棄。到星期六的晚上我再接再厲,去排隊務求一試這間位於中上環的小店。晚上八時四十五分,抵達的時候餐廳仍然是很多食客;餐廳不是太多位置,坐無虛席,我跟友人一邊等一邊尋找別的餐廳。幸好最後同事也給我們找到一個半企半坐的位置。餐廳的招牌很搶眼,你是不會錯過的。門外的椅子可以讓你坐著等;我們亦看到有人當加枱的坐在餐廳外進食,另有一番風味。一個細小的廚房提供不多於二十種食物,坐位只有兩邊的 BAR 枱,可見中環的地租有多高。此外,不得不提的是門口那像香香公主的接待員,很親切和友善,跟我們說原來餐廳才開張了一個月,真的不能相信!她還提到老闆是位在國內出生,在波士頓讀書的廚師,所以這餐廳的概念是中西合壁的,利用了本地的食材加上西式的煮法,予人一種 fusion 的味道。我們首先點的是:Mac & Cheese。只看它的外表以為是焗薯蓉,其實它是大家在早餐經常吃的腸粉!腸粉加上明太子芝士醬一起焗,是意想不到的菜式。吃的時候每一口也充滿了芝士,十分滿足;而腸粉是滑身而軟棉棉的,有水準的表現!鋪面的還有洋蔥絲,

我們首先點的是:Mac & Cheese。只看它的外表以為是焗薯蓉,其實它是大家在早餐經常吃的腸粉!腸粉加上明太子芝士醬一起焗,是意想不到的菜式。吃的時候每一口也充滿了芝士,十分滿足;而腸粉是滑身而軟棉棉的,有水準的表現!鋪面的還有洋蔥絲,增加了食物的層次,我也不知道是較中式還是較西式了?

包的選擇其實不多,只有四款,而友人點的是 Pork Belly。沒有很仔細的試,我只咬了一口豬肉,很軟身亦帶點肥,應該真的煮了很久。醬汁是海鮮醬的味道,相信外國人會比較喜歡,是在美國會吃到的中國味道。

我便試了 Chicken Bao!很好味!!首先是那個包很軟熟,蒸的時間剛好,帶點水份,放了一會也不乾身。咬下去的剎那是十分 juicy 的感覺,雞扒的肉汁加上少量沙律醬從包裡流出來,一百分!雞扒帶點四川麻辣的味道,好不惹味,叫人一吃難忘。我個人絕對是推介雞多於豬。

份量方面,本想吃這麼小的包也應該不會夠飽,不過包比想像中的大,也要吃四五口才可以把它吃掉,也有飽肚的感覺。

甜品當然也要點啦,唯一一款:雪糕三文治。說穿了其實是炸饅頭中間加了綠茶雪糕,是中西合壁的完美演繹。炸饅頭炸得鬆脆,配合綠茶雪糕一起吃沒有傳統跟煉奶一起吃般甜,好味!不過炸過的麵包還帶點熱,所以雪糕也熔得頗快,吃的時候有點兒狼狽,要吃便要快。

總括而言這也是一間做得不錯的餐廳,我一定會再去試其他還未試過的菜式!不過話雖不收加一服務費,但差不多要 $80 的一個包其實是有點兒貴的,如果可以平一點會更吸引。

為食鴨分數: 9/10

I heard about this place from my sis, then my friends, so I thought maybe it was time for me to try it.  At ten to, there were already about 10 people waiting outside hoping to get in as soon as the doors open.   I don't blame them because this place has less than 20 seats, with one side facing the wall and one side seated around the kitchen. The whole party has to be present for you to be seated, but if unfortunately someone is missing, they put you on a waiting list and give you a table as s

That's why there are these Little Bao fold chairs outside in case you need to sit down and menus for you to look at.

The 3 of us were told that the wait would be about 45 mins, but if one of us didn't mind standing, we could go in, so we did that. It was a bad idea, because it was such a small place and with one of us standing, the place seem even more small and crammed. Also, all the seats were high chairs placed closely to each other, so you were pretty much sitting elbow to elbow with the people next to you; definitely not a place for bigger people. 

The style of the restaurant was very interesting. Like the food they serve, the decor was a fusion of Western and Asian and old and modern. The open kitchen was modern, but the floor reminded me of the tiles used in an old Chinese Cha Chann Teng. On the walls, there were these modernized pictures of old HK things like mailboxes as you can see in the picture. Then, the napkin holder and sauces on the table really reminded me of an old fashioned Western diner. I think this whole concept worked, and I liked it a lot.

I liked that diners can see the chefs put together the food because then you know what exactly goes in it and how their hygiene is . However, I didn't know how to appreciate the loud music that preventd me from hearing clearly.

The staff recommended the 3 of us to get 3-4 starters and each a bao, but we each wanted an ice cream sandwich so we stuck with just 3 starters and 1 bao.

What we ordered:
Bao: Fish Tempura ($78) Interesting enough the bao came before the starters!?
 The "bun" used was a steamed Chinese bao that was a very well made soft bao, which was not dense at all. We were told that if we tried to cut the bao, the bao would fall apart. However, even if we didn't cut it, after the first bite, it fell apart anyways so... ..
Anyways, the bao was very delicious and fresh!! The pickled lemongrass fennel salad acted as the tartar sauce to the fish in my opinion and went really well with the crispy fish. I'm sure if a regular grilled bun was used instead of the lovely soft bao, the roof of my mouth would probably be quite raw and sore after a few bites.

Starter 1:LB Fries ($68) The fries had sort of a sweet coating on them that gave them a hard crunch; making them quite sweet and crispy.
 The dipping sauce was roasted tomato sambal and kewpie mayo that complemented the sweetness of the fries. They were pretty good.

Starter 2: Mac & Cheese ($108) This was not your regular mac n cheese since there was no macaroni, instead Chinese steamed rice rolls were used!
 The cheese sauce had mentaiko in it, which gave it that pinkish colour and grainy texture.  The rice rolls were cooked perfectly and were not mushy. It was a nice combination because the sauce was so hearty.

Starter 3:  Short-Rib Pan-fried Dumplings ($128) I LOVE BEEF SHORT RIBS! 
 These dumplings had a thin wrap and were fried until golden. We were told to eat them with the coleslaw underneath along with the hot sauce on the table, but eating the 3 together was just too much going on in the mouth, so when I had the 2nd piece, I skipped the hot sauce and ate the coleslaw and dumpling separately and preferred them that way. The coleslaw was fresh and the short rib was tender; quite an innovative dish that was pretty tasty.

Dessert: Sweet Ice Cream Sandwich ($48) I think it'd be cooler if they created their own flavour of ice cream instead of using green tea. 
 This sandwich was smaller than the Baos. The sandwich consisted of a deep fried Chinese bao with condensed milk with a slab of green tea ice cream in between. This was very messy to eat, since the bao was hot and caused the ice cream to melt quickly. The bao was crispy and the green tea ice cream was okay too. It was good, but were the two mindblowing together? No, I don't think so.

To end, they put your bill in a little jar along with Little Bao stickers. 
 There is no service charge so tip accordingly. Overall, service was okay as the staff explained the menu to us and even taught us the best way to enjoy their food even though they were so busy.

Final Verdict:
Everything was so fresh and delicious that I want to go back to try their other items, but they are quite pricey.

再接著就上個餃子,Short-Rib pan fried dumpling ($128)。
上碟時,員工話要餃子,coleslaw同hot sauce 一齊食。於是就跟佢既食法食,食落就明點解會咁建議。因為餃子個餡肉味好rich,如果單食可能會有啲太heavy。

最後就係全店唯一既甜品,LB Ice cream sandwich ($48)
之前睇過既blogger 都話係must try item,我地就決定一人一個。由於係即叫即做,要等。大概十多分鐘就上檯了,雪糕係綠茶雪糕,加上練奶,幾好味,但我就覺得唔係must try item 。

呢度既食物一流,環境唔錯,係迫左啲,仲要我地企係度食就真係迫到連送餐經過既員工都要同我地身貼身。
不過呢度不設訂位都仲可以客似雲來,證明左佢浄係靠食物既水準,就可以今大家甘心去排隊等。而且佢唔收加一,服務質素都唔錯,仲要冇因為有太多客而做到煩燥,好值得讚!
店員大部份都講英文的,可能外國人style,連做野都relax啲,不過relax得黎又唔hea!Very good!!!

很少餐廳能吸引我短時間之內去兩次,這次不到一個星期又再次來了,因為第一次來只是吃了店內唯一的甜品,而且是買外賣站在門外吃,所以這次我要坐在裡面吃,而且還要多吃幾款食物。約了在上環加班的友人,到達時已經是八點多,門口有幾個人在等位,還好我們不算太肚餓,最後等了差不多二十分鐘就入座。坐進去除了面壁,還有自家的醬汁在跟我們對望。店子挺小,只有二十個座位,全部都是高腳椅,坐得不太舒服,而且有點擠迫,另外店內偶然會播放強勁音樂,和朋友談天的話要提高聲量,大概外國人都習慣這種店吧,如果不是為了試那些小包包,單看裡面的格局和頗嘈吵的環境,我可能不會光顧。餐牌很簡單,只有前菜小吃、鹹包包和鹹包包,鹹包包大概七八十元,甜包包只有一款,前菜大概有十多款,有沙律、薯條、煮海鮮、餃子之類的,價錢由幾十元到百多元都有。看著別人的鹹包包,看似一個迷你白色漢堡包,以為一個女孩也要吃兩三個才會飽,而其實鹹包包只有四款的豬、雞、魚和素菜,友人不太愛吃Pork Belly而且有點喉嚨痛,所以也不點炸魚,最後要了雞和素菜。提醒一下,這裡不設切包服務 " No Bao Cutting ",所以想和朋友分享的話,就要靠自己了。

店子挺小,只有二十個座位,全部都是高腳椅,坐得不太舒服,而且有點擠迫,另外店內偶然會播放強勁音樂,和朋友談天的話要提高聲量,大概外國人都習慣這種店吧,如果不是為了試那些小包包,單看裡面的格局和頗嘈吵的環境,我可能不會光顧。餐牌很簡單,只有前菜小吃、鹹包包和鹹包包,鹹包包大概七八十元,甜包包只有一款,前菜大概有十多款,有沙律、薯條、煮海鮮、餃子之類的,價錢由幾十元到百多元都有。

看著別人的鹹包包,看似一個迷你白色漢堡包,以為一個女孩也要吃兩三個才會飽,而其實鹹包包只有四款的豬、雞、魚和素菜,友人不太愛吃Pork Belly而且有點喉嚨痛,所以也不點炸魚,最後要了雞和素菜。提醒一下,這裡不設切包服務 " No Bao Cutting ",所以想和朋友分享的話,就要靠自己了。前菜有不少都是熱氣炸物,餘下的就在當中選了Clam, Bacon and Potato。

Clam, Bacon and Potato($128)。柚子青瓜湯蒸蜆,小蜆是平常在街市買到二十蚊斤的那種,雖然肉小但都幾新鮮,不過亮點是在煮蜆的湯,帶點青檸的清新味道,雖然略為鹹了少許,但用附上的饅頭片醮著吃又不錯,最後不知不覺的用了湯匙把湯喝完。

Sloppy Chan素菜鹹包包($78)。雖然包子看起來不大,但其實吃完兩塊也有點飽的。白色的包子其實是饅頭,口感較實淨,不像中式蒸包子般綿軟,不過太軟身的話,又未必可以夾著餡料,而且拿起來吃也不容易。素菜包裡有菇菌和咖喱黃的醃瓜,醃瓜味道幾突出,但整體未算很特別。

Chicken雞肉鹹包包($78)。裡面有一塊烤過的雞扒,雞肉也夠嫰,但肉汁可以多一點就更好,而最特別的是加入了四川風味的蛋黃醬,吃起來有輕微麻辣味,令人留下深刻印象。

最後當然少不了抹茶雪糕甜包包($48),要不是上次吃過覺得好,或許未必會再來,但這次的炸包好像比上次油膩一點,沒那麼乾身,不過整體味道還是很好,雖然只是簡單的炸包包夾著抹茶雪糕和煉奶,但配合起來確實頗有驚喜呢!

友人的胃口不怎麼好,所以吃不了太多,最後只是花了每人百多元,如果胃口好的話,應該要二百元以上。賣Fusion小包包的確幾有Gimmick,難怪開業不久已晚晚爆場,且風評也不錯,值得一試,但再來的動力則不太大,始終不太喜歡嘈吵的用餐環境,除非鹹包包會經常轉口味,否則再來也只是吃甜品外賣了。

The place is obviously trying to be 'rad' (or whatever the kids say nowadays). Beck was playing when we walked in. We were seated right in front of the bao preparation station, and got to watch all the magic happen.

Eggplant with Minced Shiso Pork Tempura and Ume Ponzu Dip: Shiso, I just found out, is an herb. I didn't know that while I was eating these. I can't say I remember any exciting new flavor. These were fine but my wife and I thought the minced pork was a little undercooked. I'm just going to say I have no clue what ume ponzo is, but the dipping sauce was good. Good: B

Slow-Braised Organic OBE Short-Rib Dumplings: I was not a fan of these dumplings. They were nicely crisped on the bottom, so there was nothing wrong with how they were cooked. But inside was very tender, almost mushy, bbq short ribs, and I think the combination just didn't work. There was a nice hot sauce to go with them, but I don't think that really rescued them. OK: C-

My favorite dish of the night, "macaroni and cheese." This was actually thick rice noodles like tteok bokki, instead of macaroni. The cheese sauce was a little grainy and oddly pink in color. I thought the rice noodles and cheese sauce constituted a mediocre mac and cheese, however, the crispy stuff on top really took this dish to a new level. Flavorful and crisp without being too crisp, it's hard to describe, but I definitely recommend it. Excellent: A-

Fish Tempura (w/ tamarind palm sugar glaze, pickled lemongrass fennel salad, and tartar sauce). The piece of fried fish on the bao was excellent. Hot, crisp, tasty and not too heavy, perfect for a fishburger. The bao artist put on a crazy amount of tartar sauce, and a crazy amount of the other sauce (tamarind glaze, I guess), and taking bites caused an explosion of sauces in every direction. At least this place has tons of napkins!

Too many places, in my mind, don't trust their own ingredients. They go out of their way to get quality fish, or organic beef, or whatever, and then just smother it with so much aggressive sauce that you can't taste the main ingredients. Definitely what was going on here. OK: C+

Our other bao was the pork belly with sesame dressing and hoisin ketchup. Again, very aggressive on the sauce, but luckily pork can stand up much better to that sort of thing. I definitely liked the pork belly-- it wasn't just a pile of porkfat, which I've definitely gotten before after ordering "pork belly." Nicely seared, very tender. A little on the sweet side, but that's to-be-expected. Good: A-/B+

We ordered one green tea ice cream bao, but the owner gave us an additional one for free. Pretty straightforward: green tea ice cream, obviusly, and the bun is made out of really sweet batter, like they use to deep fry oreos in. I lost my sweet tooth when I was about 12, so I'm turning the rating over to my wife who says: Excellent, A.

Little Bao also has a decent selection of imported beer, which is another good reason to give it a try.

On the whole, I'd say that I was disappointed. The promise of the place seemed so great and the hype so high, that I almost could not have failed to be disappointed. The stuff here is good, but it's not amazing. It cost around $700 and sure, there was all sorts of fancy and exotic and organic ingredients, but the end result didn't really seem that much different from what you could do with normal ingredients. I'll probably go back to try the two other baos and the things on the sharing menu I missed, but I won't spend any time daydreaming about this place.

I loved the texture of the steamed but, it was soft but not too soft that it held together well as a burger bun and the filling in the middle was amazing.
The crispy chicken was delicious with the tart medley of julienne cabbage and coleslaw with a gorgeous creamy taste that got jazzed up with szechuan mayo.
The szechuan mayo did not have a fiery tone but had a slow tingling sensation that accumulated when you finished the bun and there was a fragrant taste of szechuan peppercorn.
The only flaw was that it was not hot enough and to me it felt like an appetizer.

Anyway, there will be a similar Steamed bun shop coming up soon in Wan Chai, called Bao Wao.
They will make their 1st public appearance at PEZ HKC from 1830pm - 2030pm on the 15th November (one night only, $38 per bao).
During the opening period in Wan Chai, it will be HK$58 for 2 Baos.
As well as that I will be looking forward to their Asian poutine which will be taro fries topped with cheese and Korean style beef!

於名字加上 " 符號, 當然有原因, 其實這是一道集合中、西、日元素的 "Mac & Cheese", 就是 中式腸粉 x 明太子芝士醬 x Mac & Cheese 製法, 屬即叫即焗貨色, 熱度極高, 外層焗得既乾身又香脆, 醬汁又不像一般 Mac & Cheese 的濃, 以腸粉取代通粉, 多了一份煙韌口感。整體來說, 就是好味到不得了, 是包包以外的必食推介。

至於主角小包包, 選擇貴精不貴多, 只有四款。以場內所見, 幾乎人人都點選了 Pork Belly, 肯定是最受歡迎的小包包, 不過風評卻只是一般, 從現場所見, 部份豬腩肉更有被烤焦了的情況出現, 因此選擇了另一款包。

Fish Tempura ($78) 的賣點就是從市場直送的新鮮貨色, 肉質非常新鮮嫩滑, 加上店子獨到的炸功, 就是幾近完美的一件炸魚; 輕輕洒上以香茅和茴香調製的醃菜, 還有加入羅望子和香椰糖的沙律醬, 是令人感覺幸福的組合; 反而兩片饅頭「包包」則略嫌乾了些, 沒有應有的濕潤感。

LB Ice Cream Sandwich ($48) 就是近日被「炸版」最多的食品, 簡單點來說就是一客綠茶雪糕三文治, 用上的「包包」卻是炸饅頭, 效果像一個迷你漢堡包。炸饅頭的質素被蒸饅頭略佳, 綠茶雪糕甚具「件頭」, 厚厚的, 味道亦不是行貨, 茶味和奶味平衡, 同樣香濃; 漢堡內還加入疑似蛋黃醬的煉奶, 還以為會甜上加甜, 想不到效果甚佳, 只略嫌吃的過程較為狼狽, 溶掉的雪糕會漏出來。

店子沒有強制性收取加一服務費, 小費隨顧客所感受到的服務水平來給予, 事實上當晚店員的服務態度和水平甚佳。結賬時, 店員送來小禮物 - 印有店子名字的小貼紙, 可見形象包裝上的心思。

想不到小小的店子, 無論形象和食品設計、製作和調味方面均十分出色, 令人感覺驚喜。 因此, 單憑食物來說, 水平是甚高的, 怪不得開業不久便隨即成為人氣高企的食店, 只是未必人人能夠接受這裡的用餐環境, 而事實上價格甚為進取, 因而性價比相對減低, 加上地點較為不便, 須要專程到訪, 首次到訪還可以, 重來的話, 則是可遇不可求, 隨緣會比較好。

這家新開的店是我在instagram看到有別人去試, 其中他們的包讓我很想去吃我是比較喜歡吃像饅頭或台灣刈包的那種包點, 而看到這裡的包是以那種白色的包做的中文名字很特別, 叫"小包包", 營業時間是晚上6點到12點, 白天是不開的上星期五去吃, 人已經蠻多的, 因為店子只有18個座位而不受電話訂位登記好之後店員跟我說要等1-1.5小時, 本來是想要放棄的了但離開了20分鐘他就打來說有位, 可能是前面的人都去了別的地方, 所以就可以吃了先點些喝的, 我點了洛神花茶, 姐點了薑啤. 洛神花茶給人感覺很中式, 正正就是這邊想做的東西吧做的東西都是蠻中式的但感覺卻帶西式. 花茶味道很好不會太酸或太甜姐點的薑啤很好喝, 這品牌的薑啤原來很有名的, 薑味很夠, 可以喝薑啤的人可點這裡的配東西吃這枝是辣醬, 可加在包跟其他菜式, 微辣的味道不錯的前後點了兩款"bao", 這款是pork belly, 這裡做的包形式類似漢堡兩塊麵包裡面夾餡, 但就用了白麵包, 像平時吃饅頭的那一種有兩塊豬腩肉, 油香十足, 但吃起來不會覺得油膩喔, 豬腩肉用了慢燉的煮法去煮就像在吃滷肉, 醬油香帶點甜, 沒有死鹹的

先點些喝的, 我點了洛神花茶, 姐點了薑啤. 洛神花茶給人感覺很中式, 正正就是這邊想做的東西吧
做的東西都是蠻中式的但感覺卻帶西式. 花茶味道很好不會太酸或太甜
姐點的薑啤很好喝, 這品牌的薑啤原來很有名的, 薑味很夠, 可以喝薑啤的人可點這裡的配東西吃

前後點了兩款"bao", 這款是pork belly, 這裡做的包形式類似漢堡
兩塊麵包裡面夾餡, 但就用了白麵包, 像平時吃饅頭的那一種
有兩塊豬腩肉, 油香十足, 但吃起來不會覺得油膩喔, 豬腩肉用了慢燉的煮法去煮
就像在吃滷肉, 醬油香帶點甜, 沒有死鹹的感覺, 味道其實做得好
但就覺得肉質韌了一點, 處理的方法要再改善. 配菜的紅洋蔥很好吃的, 有大蔥跟紫蘇的味道
配上海鮮醬跟茄汁, 還有芝麻醬, 味道加起來有點像台灣刈包. 只是肉的質感不太好, 不然這個也做得很不錯的

相比起pork belly, 我更喜歡這裡的fish tempura bao, 因為質素綜合起來水準都比較高
餐紙寫著魚是用上菜市場的新鮮貨, 再做天婦羅. 吃得出肉質很鮮很嫩, 雪藏貨很難會做到這樣的味道
天婦羅一點都不會油, 脆身的面層加上嫩滑的魚肉, 很好吃!
另外那些醃菜加了香茅跟茴香的味道, 酸中帶很香的香料味, 但香料的味道淡淡的, 一點都不會搶了其他食材的味道
也喜歡配魚的梅子醬, 因為也是酸的, 這裡也是有他他醬, 但就比一般的他他醬味道上更有層次

除了包, 他們還有"for sharing"的菜可點, 這款天婦羅配搭很特別喔
包著茄子, 豬肉跟紫蘇葉. 不過味道就可以再更好一點, 豬肉的肉香蠻淡的
而且豬肉的份量在比例上也比較少, 茄子放在底部, 吃得出茄子的味道
紫蘇葉的香也能帶得出來. 天婦羅的皮夠薄, 也是不油. 點的梅子醬救了這款天婦羅
點了才會好吃, 不然光吃的話就沒有甚麼太突出的味道

我很喜歡吃brussel sprouts, 中文叫抱子甘藍. 不過就覺得brussel sprouts要用烤的才好吃
這邊的是用烤的! 很有興趣就點了來吃. 烤得可以再久一點點, 焦香可以再更重一點喔
不過用上魚露跟糖去烤, 味道很好. 還有上麵的炸乾蔥, 好吃. 在家也可以試試這樣做呢

這道橙雞其實還蠻像港式的那種"黃金蝦", "黃金魷魚", 都用上鹹蛋黃來炒的
不過他們就用來炒雞塊. 每塊雞都被炸成雞球, 炸層很好吃, 因為裹了蜜糖還有橙香
橙加雞肉加上鹹蛋黃味道原來是搭的! 而且很夠熱, 讓我們吃不停口呢
雞肉本身也不會乾, 這道都很美味呢, 沒有骨的雞球相信我男友應該會很愛吃

看前面的兩篇食評都是特地來吃這道甜點, 他們的甜點就只有這一款, 但幾乎每個人都點了
包被炸過, 加上裡面有煉乳, 就真的好像一般吃的炸饅頭
中間夾著美味的綠茶雪糕, 非常非常好吃喔. 綠茶雪糕就不像抹茶的那種甘, 但也是很好吃
吃到最後怎樣都要點這個來吃, 一個人絕對可以吃得了一個呢

我蠻喜歡這家小包包, 我很怕吃甚麼fusion的東西, 但這裡的都做得好, 不是亂來的那種fusion
不過位子很少, 又不接受電話預約的, 所以要吃的快早點去找位子吧
服務很好, 我比較欣賞店裡的香港員工, 都很熱心的為我們介紹他們店的東西

在 Instagram 第一次看到「它」,我便立即把 Little Bao放到to-go list的最上。有點好奇中式炸饅頭配雪糕會是怎麼樣。餐廳的logo十分搶眼,一定不會錯過。店子樓底高,通風良好,因此縱使有open kitchen,也不會覺得油煙大。因為我和朋友都吃過晚飯,所以我們各人只點了一個 ice cream sandwich。LB Ice Cream Sandwich ($48)Mark:8/10冰凍的綠茶雪糕加上燙手的炸中式包,在口腔裡冷熱交融。炸包外脆又帶點嚼勁,跟香滑充滿綠茶香的雪糕成對比;還有少許練奶作點綴呢!雖然吃的時候雪糕會滑來滑去,讓人吃得有些狼狽,但這點應該是吃這個甜點的樂趣吧!很喜歡它完全不油膩,不過炸包若果能再鬆軟點就更好了!看到餐紙的鹹包和各款小吃菜式都很吸引,令我們很後悔吃飽了才來!

炸包外脆又帶點嚼勁,跟香滑充滿綠茶香的雪糕成對比;還有少許練奶作點綴呢!雖然吃的時候雪糕會滑來滑去,讓人吃得有些狼狽,但這點應該是吃這個甜點的樂趣吧!很喜歡它完全不油膩,不過炸包若果能再鬆軟點就更好了!
