I can’t understand why this place got a good review. Tiny menu selection, absolutely no taste to anything ordered, the worst meal I’ve had since being in the Army! Each dish consistently tasteless, so there’s that! Don’t waste your time, money, or tastebuds.

Duck Ragu Pappardelle
Never tried Ragu that’s made with duck meat. The taste is quite unique. Very rich in flavour and texture. Not salty, but genuine taste of cheese and duck.

I was thrilled to try this newly opened resto and it was a disappointing and unpleasant experience. we ordered scallop carpaccio, Frito misto, duck ragu pappardelle, tofu pana cotta, and tiramisu. I love the tofu panna cotta, the pasta was not bad too, but the rest were all just so so. I actually wanted to order stuff calamari, clams and chicken parmigiana, and they told me all these dishes sold out... Our booking is 8:30, and I saw lots guests still coming in.. basically there left nothing much

I love the tofu panna cotta, the pasta was not bad too, but the rest were all just so so. Obviously they were not well prepared to accept all these reservations. The staff told me these sold out dishes are limited .. I was like u should have told me earlier when I made the booking which items are limited..
Besides, all the staffs were unfriendly, none of them were attentive... they never came to pour any wine or water for us until we wave at them. I thought I was in “cha Chan teng” 🤦🏻‍♀️ but the funny thing is they only became attentive when they wanted to collect your dishes (which we were still working on it) it was quite annoying..

Here comes the epic part, we ordered a bottle of wine, and one sleepy staff came and she poured the wine into our glasses, I noticed that’s not the wine I ordered , and I told her, and she was like silent, stoned, stood there and did nothing, the other staff saw it and came over took that wrong bottle of wine away without sounding apologetic... both rude/sleepy servers said nothing at all!
I saw they pour the wine back into the bottle at the back of the counter.. my friend and I saw it, and we were both shock and felt disgusted. A manager probably saw our amazed look and asked us what happened, we told him about it, and he was like “oh...” then walked away, he didn’t apologise or did anything to make it up to us...
and they came back with the correct bottle of wine without apologies again, predictable 😂.

Overall, yes, the interior seems nice, but poor service and inconsistent food quality.. won’t revisit and not recommend..

足足要一個星期前才book 到枱,可惜大失望。外環境不清潔,完全不適宜做這類型意大利餐廳或西餐廳, 所以上手餐廳steak House結業。內地方陝窄影出来好似寬闊,其實啲位好迫,好嘈好嘈又熱,好似坐係大排檔食嘢。雖然價錢平,但完全沒有味道。首先Clams夠細完全上唔到枱,好似麵豉湯擺兩粒蜆肉點綴那麼細😫。因為餐牌上好少選擇,揀無可揀。2.Duck Ragu 扁意粉,有酒味之外完全沒有香味又淡又不熱😫。3.Seafood Tagliatelle 只是有細粒蝦毛冇味不熱。4.Stuffed Calamari 最離譜又細隻大約15cm長BB墨魚當Mean course 冇味又貴$188😡。都會睇幾時會結業,只適宜一些年青人飲酒及食snack 的地方。絕對不是晚餐地方。

佛誕去西營盤,見到有間餐廳開下午三點,同朋友又約咗三點,深信一開門應該有位,所以就去呢間餐廳。

3點開始係happy hour時間,只有小食,5點開始先有正餐。Happy hour menu有wine、cocktail、啤酒,都可以睇返大menu。

樓高3層,地下果層主要飲酒,其他樓層都應該食飯為主,樓底超高,都算係香港少見。

I love food and always appreciate how tough it is to run a restaurant.  Over the years I have come across many great restaurants and the terrible ones, but until now, I have never been motivated enough to write a review.  We learned about Casa Cucina literally this afternoon and we couldn't wait to go try it.  We arrived shortly before 6pm and we were seated on the 3rd floor.  We waited for over 5-7 mins and no one came by with any menu, so I had to wave at the receptionist on the ground floor f

I love food and always appreciate how tough it is to run a restaurant.  Over the years I have come across many great restaurants and the terrible ones, but until now, I have never been motivated enough to write a review.  

We learned about Casa Cucina literally this afternoon and we couldn't wait to go try it.  We arrived shortly before 6pm and we were seated on the 3rd floor.  We waited for over 5-7 mins and no one came by with any menu, so I had to wave at the receptionist on the ground floor for it.  After getting the menu, needless to say, no one came by to take orders.  I walked down to 2nd floor and they finally sent someone who is unfriendly and not ready to work.  Dinner starts at 6pm and perhaps we interrupted her rest?!

Our fist dish (Cicchetti Platter) came and it was fine.  Second dish was the Clams.  While the broth was very tasty, the clams looked and tasted like they are frozen clams.  Worse, one of the clams had a pile of greyish sands in it, and my son (being a clams lover) was disgusted by it and stopped eating the rest immediately.  I understand they can't check on every ingredient of a dish, but as a customer, I was not too pleased about it.  Next came the stuffed calamari which we were very much looking forward to.  Unfortunately it has these tiny little bones (like fish bones) in every bite, which really threw us off.  We told the sleepy waitress about it, and she just took it away without sounding apologetic and showing much interest to hear more.  Maybe it's their protocol?  The manner was a bit abrupt but we still can live with it because we couldn't have continued eating the rest anyway.  She brought a replacement dish later, and this one, to our relief, didn't have the same problem.  Seafood Tagliatelle and Mushroom Risotto were both good.

Aside from the service and inconsistent food quality, what we were also struggling with was the temperature on the 3rd floor.  Outdoor temperature is hot today, but the real problem was the inefficient aircons and the aircon set up.  As other tables were filling and there were more people, temperature began to rise further.  Guests at other tables were  looking at each other and registering their concerns with the waitresses who were unable to help.  Our table was closest to the aircon but 2 of our 4 seats were not getting any breeze, so I perfectly understand how the other guests were feeling.

We couldn't stand the heat anymore so we asked for the bill, and of course the waitress forgot to bring it.  At this point, we were used to their service so we just walked down to pay directly at the reception.  We passed by a manager looking lady and told her it's really hot upstairs, but she didn't reply at all. Not a nod or a word spoken.   I felt it was rude, so by the time I approached the reception table (3 ladies there), I mentioned the temperature issue again.  Here comes the epic moment: they looked at me for 3 seconds without saying a word.  No "sorry", "it's really hot today" or any reason or excuse given.  Silent!  And they went on with their work trying to figure out reservations.  They simply ignored me and didn't seem to care at all.  Is this their protocol as well?  At this point, I was shocked and pissed. 

Diners are looking for a pleasant experience, but most of the things happening tonight is on the contrary. While I understand they are new and not everything can be perfect, I expect at least service can be a lot more pleasant.  Some form of acknowledgement or apology to a known issue is absolutely necessary.  Basic respect to others (let alone customers) is a must.

We ordered the Scallop Carpaccio (HK$108), Fritto Misto (HK$180), Oxtail Ravioli (HK$188), Seafood Tagliatelle (HK$178), Lamb Rack (HK$255), Cod Acqua (HK$248), Tiramisu (HK$58) and Tofu Panna Cotta (HK$58). Our bottle of wine was HK$580 🍷. 

Our favorites of the night were: Seafood Tagliatelle, the Cod Acqua, Lamb Rack and Tofu Panna Cotta 

The pasta and fish dish both had a very flavorful sauce with sundried tomatoes and fresh prawns. It was delicious! 
 Lamb rack was a succulent tender cut of happiness 🐑. Their dessert was a delightful surprise on the taste buds with a strong essence of tofu in the panna cotta 🍮


The only downside was their portion size. All the dishes were very small. Slightly expensive for the price 💰.  Hard to share food with a large group of people.
For example, cod and lamb rack dishes only had 3 small pieces.  Ideal to share only between 2-3 people for each dish.

Dinner for 3 people with a bottle of wine was : HK$ 2,038.

Overall, lovely food and ambiance. Slightly expensive as the portions are small. Very chill vibe. Good place for after work or weekend drinks too with hip music. Would love to come back to try their steak and stuffed calamari (which was sold out that night) !

Unwelcoming staff. Bad service when there’s not even that many of customers in the house. Customers took photos in the bar got judged by the staff, especially the lady sitting at reception. Not worth to come at all. Worst experience ever in town ! Seriously if you don’t want to welcome your customers, might as well don’t work in any restaurants.

Picky Eater saw that the couple on the next table ordered the seafood tagliatelle and the sliced hanger steak (both looking very nice) and started bitxhing about why we didn’t pick those instead of the chicken 🤷🏽‍♀️
Got the tofu panna cotta as dessert. Very yum! Red sugar plus light soy sauce on top was a good idea.

In summary, wouldn’t mind returning to try the tagliatelle and steak but restaurant really needs to do sth abt all the massive mosquitos flying ard before I do. (Spent 1/10th of my time warding them off and successfully killed 2 ✌🏼).

Poor service at the front desk, the lady there was not very kind and welcoming.\When I told her I have already scanned the leavehomesafe app she asked me to show her as a proof.Requested to sit at the leather seats at the restaurant front and got rejected and table was given to another couple who came after us, and then lied to us that they booked in advance for that particular table, but clearly not as I wasobserving how they walked in and got serve the whole time.Since there are lots of other

Since there are lots of other options at Sai Ying Pun we decided to spend our money somewhere else.
Didn't get to try their food but probably just another restaurant with a nice decor only.

先說重點:坐左1.5 hours先食到兩道appetizer! 6張枱情況一樣,最後有5張枱食左一兩個頭盆埋單走左!話說我同先生坐係洗手間附近,嗰個section 有六張枱,大家先後+ - 10 mins 坐低,坐低左15mins 都冇人理過我哋,枱面乜嘢都冇都算,待應越叫越走,好不容易落到單,等了又等,其中有一家人帶住小朋友開始催單,話小朋友要返學,之後就出多2個main course 比佢地,而其他係乜都未有。呢個時候,其中一pair情侶話要埋單走人,而有小朋友的家庭亦都話要埋單(佢地話仲有一半食物未來)我地有傾左兩句,我先生問佢d野好吾好食,佢話Spaghetti house 好食好多!)之後我同其他兩張枱都相繼都叫左埋單,行左去後面feather and bone 20分鐘食完走得!個Clam係完全無味!唔知點解啲人話好食!我先生仲要行出去攞salt自己加落去!我地埋左單先出個意粉,係水 nel nel的,呢間永久blacklist!

話說我同先生坐係洗手間附近,嗰個section 有六張枱,大家先後+ - 10 mins 坐低,坐低左15mins 都冇人理過我哋,枱面乜嘢都冇都算,待應越叫越走,好不容易落到單,等了又等,其中有一家人帶住小朋友開始催單,話小朋友要返學,之後就出多2個main course 比佢地,而其他係乜都未有。呢個時候,其中一pair情侶話要埋單走人,而有小朋友的家庭亦都話要埋單(佢地話仲有一半食物未來)我地有傾左兩句,我先生問佢d野好吾好食,佢話Spaghetti house 好食好多!)之後我同其他兩張枱都相繼都叫左埋單,行左去後面feather and bone 20分鐘食完走得!

個Clam係完全無味!唔知點解啲人話好食!我先生仲要行出去攞salt自己加落去!我地埋左單先出個意粉,係水 nel nel的,呢間永久blacklist!

吸引在三款不同的意大利風味小吃,可以一次過試!店員也有建議用餐次序,先吃香烤蕃茄麵包片BRUSCHETTA,香脆又清新, 一口一件非常簡單易吃;其次吃莫札瑞拉芝士BURRATA,非常新鮮,香滑的芝士及忌廉,如果覺得不夠味/增加味道可以點上醬汁,令味道變濃郁;最後吃意大利風乾牛肉卷BRESAOLA ROLL,包裹着菜及芝士,帶有鹹香同時清新。

喜歡吃鱈魚也不要錯過,煮鱈魚困難在難以控制時間或火候,有機會會太淋影響質感,但這個做得剛剛好,質感夠滑,也不會過火。除此之外更有蜆,橄欖,羅勒等配料提升整體香氣,大大片香脆麵包記得配搭醬汁一同享用啦!

雖然本人對甜品沒有特別研究,但對兩款甜品評價也是正面的,TIRAMISU咖啡味較為突出,香氣十足;TOFU PANNA COTTA 豆腐意式奶凍,用上新鮮豆腐製作,豆味香濃,也有紅糖、輕微醬油等等點綴。

飲品方面也有各式各樣的Cocktail及Mocktail,而有酒精的也有幾款是餐廳自家調配的,特別有特色。例如

朋友這個加了冰, 令飲品保持溫度, keep住酒香。

此款飲品酸酸甜甜味道開胃,但因應溫度會越來越甜,所以早點飲用會比較好。

簡單來講就係一碟海鮮篇意粉,佢嘅醬汁同啱啱clams有啲相似,主要嘅海鮮就係蝦同埋魷魚,我自己都比較鍾意食海鮮,同樣我都係食到唔停口嘅。

甜品方面,我哋就試咗呢一個豆腐布甸,同埋Tiramisu,其實豆腐布甸喺其他地方都好常見,不過佢哋呢度將個味道嘅比例啱啱好,豆腐嘅味道唔會太濃,但係喺個布甸入邊都十分有質感。tiramisu 入邊嘅cream,咖啡同酒嘅比例啱啱好,互相輝映得來唔會搶去風頭。
