I'm happy to finally find tasty banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich) in Hong Kong! The first time I attempted to try Delicieux was in the evening, but they changed their hours to close earlier at 7p so I was out of luck. I'm happy to finally find tasty banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich) in Hong Kong! The first time I attempted to try Delicieux was in the evening, but they changed their hours to close earlier at 7p so I was out of luck. I went back for lunch on a Saturday and snagged a table in their cozy but small cafe.

I grew up eating banh mi with cha (pork roll), ham, and pate, so I was a bit disappointed at first that only the No. 1 deluxe sandwich had pate (along with salted pig knuckle and meat floss). But the sandwich itself did not disappoint! The bread was fluffy and crispy (although the edges slightly burnt). The liver pate was made from scratch and was delicious. The sandwich was also filled to the brim with meat, pickled carrots and radish. The flavors were very well balanced - not too sweet or salty. I was pretty full from the whole sandwich. I think I might try the half sandwich and appetizer combo instead next time as the spring rolls and Vietnamese coffee looked good. I tried their 3-color drink this time which was average. Combo prices are very reasonable. I can't wait to return!

Haven't had a proper Vietnamese sandwich since I came back from Vietnam. Happy to find this little cafe at a quiet corner in Central! Have been here a couple times so have tried a few dishes already. The number 1 Deluxe sandwich is the best & the most authentic one. It goes really well with the Vietnamese coffee! I'd suggest they put more cilantro and chili in the sandwich to bring out the flavor. Would be great if the chicken is less salty. The waiting time is a bit too long for sandwich. But

因為在佐敦上班的關係…因而有機會試到好好吃的越南法包…被那脆脆的包和那些越式札肉深深的吸引著…而這家同樣有越式法包的店其實一早就在我的心水餐廳list中很久…不過都沒有時間到中環…反正晚上要到中環都是已經有飯局要去…就在一個悠閒的星期六下午…一次消滅兩間心水餐廳…第一站就來到這裡…..正值下午茶時間…可惜星期六是沒有下午茶供應的…在眾多款法包裡面…就選了最basic的那種…另外加錢變成一個special combo…有飲品和小食…飲品選了店員推介的三色冰…味道很淡…沒什麼甜味…椰奶味也不重…很一般….小食就要了越式春卷…剛剛炸起…包著生菜一起吃…熱辣辣的很不錯~最後的越式特級法包…份量也不少…裡面包著越式扎肉…鹹豬手…肉鬆…紅蘿蔔絲等等…法包很脆…內面鬆軟…包在裡面的材料十分多…滿滿的…整體味道是很好的…只是我們都認為肉鬆下得太多了…那肉鬆的味道有點濃…搶走了其他食物戲份…有時候我也明白人客當然會想配料多一點…不過怎樣在食物當中取一個平衡也是很重要的…不然其他配料也就沒辦法發光發亮了~寫到這裡...突然又想吃法包了~~

One of the few restaurants that live up to expectation, especially after all the positive reviews online thus far!The waitress has very a good attitude; extremely patient and friendly.The Deluxe Viet sandwich is nicely toasted with just the right amount of ingredients.The Viet fresh prawn rolls and fried spring rolls are simply delicious.Delivery available during lunch for orders over $100.

睇雜誌介紹呢間新的法越三文治,又咁啱去荷李活道睇展覽,見佢咁多就試下。我地叫左兩個餐,一個特色三文治同一個豬肉三文治同兩杯滴滴咖啡。個法包好脆好好味呀!個特色三文治都幾多料,但個豬肉三文治d料就同個特色三文治相同,味道比較淡。其實比起佐敦的添記,兩個三文治都冇添記d料咁多層次,如果d料可以多d味就好了。至於兩杯咖啡就好特別,份量唔算好多,但就甜到漏,可能落得花奶太多,飲到尾就更甜,真係要飲杯水先得。至於服務方面就冇得彈,個老細好好招呼,d員工都幾有禮貌。

我最鐘意佢ge 特式法包。。食過好幾次。。都仲系甘好食。。本人系kowloon 反工。。。男友都特登走去中環買外賣比我。。買返黎虽然mo甘熱,但味道still fantastic!!!如果你地唔系甘like食硬ge包(好似我甘)。。可以加$2轉包。。2種panini 包。。。唔記得個name。。。however 2種包包都好好食

眨下眼又黎到第 400 篇,有時會好無心情好求其寫,有時又會突然勁熱衷,哈哈,真係奇怪。不過而家上Openrice睇又好寫都好,都已經成為左我生活既一部份。今日係中環原本唔係想食呢間越式法包架,雖然佢都係我想食既店子之一,但又有D覺得好熱氣,想遲D先再黎試。點知黎到附近其他店子都無哂位,咁我又趕住返工,見呢到有位所以最後都黎左呢度啦。我企係門口已經見到大大個Openrice笑臉,原因係佢地入選左2010年Openrice既選擇嘛,所以大大張Poster痴左係門口。跟住到我入去坐低,檯面又有Table Stand又係Openrice,到處都係OR笑臉,唔知呢個笑臉有無成功為佢地宣傳呢?入到去拎個menu睇下,望左陣就有個姐姐埋黎問我食咩,我見我一個人,唔想阻左人地D檯,所以就「柄」埋一邊,自己對住個窗慢慢食。呢度俾我既感覺好CAUSAL,即係無咩規矩咁,你鍾意俾錢先又得,唔鍾意食完再俾又得,佢都好似唔係好理你咁。佢有套餐選擇,最後我就要了越式法包+小食+飲品,都係$50,都算抵食,始終係中環區喎。我要了個越式特級法包 + 水晶蝦卷 + 圓肉冰。姐姐很貼心問要不要辣椒和芫荽,我即刻耍手擰頭

飲品好快就來到了,送飲品來的是一個好SWEET的姐姐,超好笑容,應該唔係香港人,真係好鍾意佢,因為佢笑容好靚又有禮貌,總之就係好Sweet sweet既感覺。圓肉冰開頭飲覺得有d淡,但可能係我未搞均,飲下飲下慢慢越來越濃味,好香龍眼味,感覺好清新,而且佢仲有好多龍眼肉,粒粒都又大又甜好爽口,好喝!!!*** 不過搞笑既係我話要龍眼冰個個人問我要熱定凍.... 乜冰都有熱架咩??

食物由於即叫即整,所以都要等頗長既時間先有得食。先來半份小食水晶蝦卷,嘩,擺得好靚,感覺好似去左D靚靚餐廳食野咁。而且份量都幾多呀,不過佢只係俾隻叉我,令我食起黎非常論盡,散到周圍都係,最後發現應該一口食哂佢係最安全既選擇。佢個醬汁酸酸地,加埋好清新好開胃。D蝦好細隻,但蝦味好鮮好出,內裡再附有扎肉,檬粉,蘿蔔絲等等,是不錯的,不過佢仲加埋薄荷葉... 搞到我食到D牙膏味咁,同我屋企隻牙膏味道勁似,哈哈!!! 俾我我會想唔要左D薄荷葉就好啦。

之後又再等,等左 8 分鐘到,主角終於黎啦,用個籃子裝住,非常整潔。唔好睇小呢個法包,我食完非常飽架。特級法包餡料有鵝肝醬,雞肉鬆,鹹豬手加埋扎肉。本身個包佢地就有牛油,蘿蔔青瓜絲再加自製醬料。法包外脆內軟,又有麵包香,加埋牛油同自家醬料既味道,好食。鵝肝夠香,豬手亦好味,反而唔係好食到扎肉既味道。幾種食物放入口真係味道感覺真係好有層次,味道唔會過鹹,加埋酸酸既青瓜蘿蔔絲,真係好味!!! muah*** 食到尾食到少少蒜蓉,相信係佢自家醬料既材料之一。

呢間店子小小,不過客人幾多,有唔少外國人客呢。而且很多人看到它的廣告也停在店子門口研究一番,相信會越來越多客人呢。這裡食物好吃(雖然真的慢了點點),服務又好,難怪入選Openrice啦。吃完就滿足的走了,希望下次來再可見到sweet sweet的送食物姐姐。第 400 篇就此報告完畢。=)))

前一陣子見到Big Apple拍的靚相,就很想要到這來試試。正巧這陣子因為要吃中藥,平常喜愛吃的食物通通忌口,而那些以前沒吃過的食物,反正中醫生沒有說過不能吃,就來試試吧!店裡不大,中午一點抵達時連我在內一共是八位顧客,不過最大極限應該只能塞下另外八位吧。視覺上有些凌亂,我想主因是吧台上擺的東西高矮不一,靠近吧台的四張小桌子是銀色會反光的桌面,剛好映射到有點掉漆的吧台。位置也不大,不過有放幾個小cushion可以讓人靠著腰,算是比較舒服一些。坐了約莫三分鐘,服務生送上菜單,很快的點好45元的越式套餐,任何特色法包加上任何飲品。在等餐的時候想起來很久沒打電話回家,於是撥了個電話給母親大人,隨便東扯西扯我的午餐便送上桌。首先送上來沒有見過的「越南滴滴咖啡」,由上方的 “鐵製漏斗”慢慢滴到下方的玻璃杯中。咖啡味道淡了一些,不過還可以。服務生提醒玻璃杯中已經有擺上煉乳,可以攪拌後再喝,這樣倒讓我回憶起前陣子去泰國喝到濃醇香的泰式咖啡了。隨後送上主角「越式特級法包」,菜單上寫著鵝肝醬、越南札肉、咸豬手及雞肉鬆(點餐時服務生有問我要不要加辣椒與芫荽,我當然說要啦!看起來我的吃中藥去燥計畫是永遠不會

很抱歉這是我第一次吃越式法包,如果你在閱讀這篇文章,我沒辦法很詳細形容給你鵝肝醬、越南札肉、咸豬手及雞肉鬆每一樣是什麼味道,我只能說整個味道融合起來實在是非常好吃,有各種豐富的鹹味,還有點甜甜的,再加上法包硬硬的口感,好吃!

吃完後覺得口味重了一些,不過沒關係,出了店門口右轉再右轉繞上荷里活道,不遠處就是「公利」,花個八元來杯「竹蔗汁」,消除口裡殘留的過重口味又可消除火氣,還可端著杯子悠閒的站在荷里活道的樹蔭下享受正午的悠閒!

Yummy Yummy !!Although the location is not easy to find but it's value to taste the Vietnam Bread. It's 9 inches long for each bread in HK$38, the materials used is good quality and delicious. I love this food and buy it at Jordon (only selling this type of bread) previously but now I will just buy it at Delicieux Bistro.

The material of the stupid silk Ma Li's beef sandwich, the very obvious one is the cooking the beef slice and inserting in the bread of lower stupid silk Ma Li's juice, whom here spend whether Mai wrap up, have wheat to be fragrant very, seem not very fresh, it is silk Ma Li that take,getting more obvious very one after there build is salad sauce added, seem to be it will be a bit better with the sauce of salad, but it is the weight too much to cook the beef, also there is fragrant and not too t

So I'd been craving about eating Vietnamese bánh mì (baguette sandwich) ever since I read a local food blog about a place called "Tim Kee French Sandwiches" in Kowloon. Anyway, when I found out there was a similar place in Central (and rated pretty high on Openrice) I was all over this place like white on rice...haha. Environment: The place is cozy (but really more on the tiny side) but also brightly lit (perfect for food photography!). Chairs are not the most comfortable and honestly feels kind of cramped but considering it's a sandwich shop that requires high turnover so I understand. I guesstimate the place probably seats about 10-15 people max. One thing I particularly liked about the place was when the cook started cooking and the yummy aroma of the grilled meat/veggies filled the entire room (I was so drooling)!

Service: There were 2 people (1 cook & 1 server). Both were super polite and friendly. When we got there we were the only customers (so service may be different when they are packed). Food was served promptly and they were totally on point in regards to clearing up the appetizer dishes before they served the sandwiches. Maybe because the place was small but there was kind of a warm feeling like you stepped into someone's home (which was nice).

My friend and I both order the $50 combo which includes 1 sandwich, 1/2 portion of a appetizer and also 1 drink. We both shared each other's appetizer. Now onto the food:

Vietnamese Spring Roll - To me this was the better of the 2 rolls. The exterior was really crunchy and piping hot while the interior was flavorful (I believe it was pork). I dipped this in the fish sauce they gave me but to me the fish sauce didn't add all that much to this dish (it felt like pretty regular store bought fish sauce). Regardless, this is quite the perfect snack food. I could eat a ton of these while watching the game in front of the TV...haha!

Vietnamese Pork Summer Roll - This looked quite appetizing on this square white plate with sauce all around it. Sadly it tasted pretty average. To me these kind of translucent skin 'summer rolls' really should give you a slight cooling sensation when you eat them. In this case it was warm and kind of defeated the purpose of a summer roll. Sauce was nice visually but I'm not sure it helped all that much. Also the roll looked like it might fall apart when I stuck my fork in it (but it did hold nevertheless). Meat and veggies inside did taste pretty decent. Overall still an appetizing dish to eat before our sandwiches.

Vietnamese Deluxe Sandwich - Finally our sandwiches! Just so we are clear I ordered the 'medium' spicy one (it had some heat but I easy could have gotten the most spiciest one since I like spicy food). So inside the sandwich I could see they had grilled meat, salty pig knuckle meat, peppers, Chinese meat floss (肉鬆), radish, coriander and foie gras sauce. The bread was warm and crunchy (thumbs up since it truly sucks when you get a good filling and a cold bun). The filling tasted quite well together but to me the game changer was the meat floss (Chinese shredded dry meat that has a 'fluffy' texture). I just would never expect that inside a sandwich but made the meat flavor that much more intense. The peppers also gave it some nice heat. Even though I can eat much spicier I question whether additional heat would overpower the flavor from the rest of the ingredients. Overall an unique and tasty sandwich.

Ice Lemon Tea - Pretty average iced lemon tea (would have been nice if there was a Vietnamese twist). What I did like about it was it was pretty big and was serve in this cool looking glass jar-like mug.

Overall I thought this place is really nice change of pace for people looking for a different type of sandwich for lunch. For $50 you really get quite a substantial amount of food. The meal isn't going to knock your socks off but it was still quite tasty.

Didn't spend that much time looking over the menu but if they had a sandwich with 'the works' (basically stuffed with everything) and maybe throw a sunny side up egg on top...that would be killer. Going to suggest that to the cook next time I go

小食 #1 水晶香茅牛肉卷: 一客 3 件, presentation 好靚
米紙薄薄的, 濕度剛好, 餡料有牛肉, 檬粉, 青瓜, 菜絲 etc, 包得緊緻, 蘸點酸甜汁成件放入口食, 好有食沙律的清新感覺, 又帶點牛肉的 juicy; 蘸魚露食就多一份鹹香及「腥」濃, 開胃又惹味, 幾好食的.

小食 #2 越南春卷: 賣相有點「盤栽」feel
網皮春卷炸得皮薄熱辣, 脆口無油, 餡料 juicy 帶肉香, 配上魚露, 食唔停口! 下面仲有塊疑似米餅, 不過有點「濕氣」, 咬落韌韌的, 麻麻哋.

主食係「越式特級法包」: 法包係「傳統」嗰隻, 烘得暖身鬆脆; 餡料有鵝肝醬, 扎肉, 鹹豬手及雞肉鬆, 自行走芫茜及辣椒後, 配料仲有醃蘿蔔, 青瓜及店方的 homemade dressing, 加加埋埋係幾有層次的味道 -- 有醃蘿蔔的微酸及爽脆, 又有鵝肝醬的油香, 加埋味道似足 pickled mayo, 酸甜又帶蛋香的 homemade dressing, 鹹豬肉的肉汁及鹹香, 真箇 délicieux, 最後係順利清「籃」


朋友食「吞拿魚法包」, 有芝士, 蕃茄, 生菜及 homemade dressing, 唔知又好唔好食?

食物即叫即做很不錯, 環境簡約中帶點型格, 店員們亦幾友善有禮, 印象良好.

埋單每人 $50, 唔貴, 食物清新好吃又飽肚, 真不錯的食 lunch 點, 值得試試.

聽到友人嘅介紹,nov 14,09嚟lunch,叫咗 : 1) 越式特級法包餐($49)i) 青檸梳打-+咗hk$4-因為罐梳打喺無糖,所以只喺有氣,並無甜味-於是要額外向店員索取糖水-青檸味也很弱-呢個就以元朗邦美x較為出色喇 ii) 越式特級法包-經店員推介,呢個喺人氣之選-有鵝肝醬,越南扎肉,咸豬手及雞肉鬆,醃過的紅蘿蔔絲-另再問我要不要+芫茜同辣椒絲-個包咬落暖熱,都脆口,硬度唔會挖口-餡料有咁多,味道自然豐富啦,尤其有鵝肝醬同雞肉鬆,呢點比佐敦嘅添x或元朗嘅邦美x突出-辣椒絲就要求隨量啦,雖然只得1條,但咬到辣椒籽,真喺辣到我跳晒舞 * 服務很好,我食剩1/2件,女店員主動幫忙拿去pack起佢

在中環返工, 雖然有很多食午餐的地方, 但有些真的很貴, 七、八十大元一份的午餐, 實在不能天天吃, 負擔不起!, 但平的又大排長龍。上星期看見平常去的yogurt店隔離開了一間越式法包店, 裝修乾乾淨淨。吃厭了其他的東西, 而且越南食物不嬲都是我的頭三名選擇之一, 於是叫了一份特色三文治, 同事叫了雞絲三文治, 套餐還有飲品, 包括越式飲品例如龍眼冰、青檸梳打、越南咖啡…… 特色三文治很大份、味道很清新, 內有扎肉和另一種肉片(不知是什麼), 還有青瓜、紅蘿蔔絲……還有那個 baguette, 外脆內軟, 非常新鮮, 與餡料很配合! 初初以為自己會吃不完, 但因為好味, 食下食下都食哂! 但很飽!, 同事飲青檸梳打, 飲了1/2 飽到死, 放棄了飲品, 但食哂個包! 她說雞絲是處理過的, 有些脆, 很香口, 好味! 唯一不好的是價錢都幾貴, $45一份套餐 (現在有10% off), 但size有翻咁大, 其實都ok抵食的, 但女仔食唔哂, 好像有些浪費! 因為法包放得耐了會不脆, 不再好吃。總括來說, 口味很清新、很好味, 餡料多卻不油膩, 這是越南食物的好處。
