The only good thing about this meal was the relatively quick service.
We got the "Pot of Gold" set which was advertised all over the MTR, Beef Lasagna, Onion rings and Baked Pipe Rigate with Ham, Cheddar and Parmesan Cheese.
Let's start with the biggest disappointment - the Pot of Gold set. It wasn't fondue - it was watery, instant (powder) fondue, and were given raw ingredients (raw mushrooms, raw scallops, raw salmon, raw meat, raw corn, and even raw meatballs...). So basically we had to cook everything... in the cheese. Hotpot and fondue fusion? What a mess. The only stuff we could dip and eat, which is what fondue is suppose to be, was bread and french fries. The bread was so old and stale that it was hard to chew, and the french fries were old, soggy, and obviously frozen. I won't even go into why on earth there were 6 tiny pieces of cheese (the only real cheese in this set), and melons. Most of the set was placed on a ridiculous amount of (dry and inedible) lettuce to give the illusion of having more food. 400 dollars down the drain.
The onion rings... Made from frozen, pre-packaged onion rings. What are we paying for?
The pasta was boiled pasta with cream and that horrible canned Spam-type meat, no seasoning, and maybe a millionth of a gram of parmesan. Horrible. 118 dollars, really?
The lasagna was obviously frozen, either microwaved or baked, incredible dry, hard to even cut let alone chew. Obviously the taste wasn't good either. Being frozen, the tomato sauce tasted like concentrated, canned, ketchup. 138 dollars?!
In total we paid 770 dollars, one of the most expensive meals I've had in Hong Kong, for probably the worst food I've had in Hong Kong.
DO NOT EAT HERE. Just throw your money in the garbage, you'll feel better than having your money stolen by this disgusting "restaurant".
