My company's business partner was organising a lunch and they suggested Club Qing. It was a hot and busy afternoon, but the restaruant was cool and quiet. It was serving only 2 tables with less than 10 diners during the hour, but there were 5 in our table already.1. Drinks: Rosebud tea2. Appetizers: a) Spanish iberico ham (wrapped with winter mushroom?) - It looked like winter mushroom but not really tasted like it as the ham has a strong flavour.b) Netherlands tomato soaked with lychee juice -
1. Drinks: Rosebud tea

b) Netherlands tomato soaked with lychee juice - refreshing and light lychee after-taste.
3. Deep fried chicken stick with passion fruit yogurt sauce - no difference from my mom's cooking, but I'd prefer not serving the dish with the sauce as it should go with salad rather than chicken wings
4. Steam egg-white and soya-bean milk in XO sauce - smooth texture and the XO sauce was not spicy
5. Soup with yellow cucumber, sea shell and Hokkigai - just a normal "soup of the day" in any restaurant
6. Sanuki udon in prime beef consomme - al-dente udon with tender and succluent beef
7. Dessert: Hokkaido milk pudding with rasberry puree - quality similar to those served in a decent cafe
The staff was sincere and kind enough to explain the origins of the ingredients and how each dish was prepared. The restaurant was also considerate by offering cold noodles or similar to those diners that did not take beef.
It is really a home dining to me, but for sure, do not expect any surprises.
