平時大家都各有各忙 終於同班姊妹就啱時間食飯lu.....所以決定book間房盡情一吓.....mad::yeah!!我地簡咗食中菜,齊人一坐底就即刻點菜lu,增取時間嘛.....我地叫咗招牌菜蜜汁叉燒外,有富貴雞...等等, 真係要讚吓位經理,佢建議咗其餘菜式外,重介紹咗兩個新菜式比我地試....真係good喎,第一個菜(桂花西紅柿) 雖然只係冷盤,但味道好特別.......桂花有小小甜香加埋新鮮蕃茄微酸既味道.....真清新第二個菜(滑豆腐東星班) 哩個真係要比個讚佢呀....可能東星班多數都係清蒸來食,同埋佢用滑豆腐來配合,感覺好食得健康.....有兩種不同(滑)既口感,真係難忘 下次要返炒唯一覺得嘛嘛地既就係個冰鎮露筍,味道一般,賣相唔係好得! 其餘既都好好味.....甜品.....西瓜波波爽,有蘆薈肉一齊食! 天氣咁熱!啱晒重有! 唔知係咪咁啱得咁橋,頭盤係蕃茄,甜品係西瓜頭尾都紅噹噹......

第一個菜(桂花西紅柿) 雖然只係冷盤,但味道好特別.......桂花有小小甜香加埋新鮮蕃茄微酸既味道.....真清新

第二個菜(滑豆腐東星班) 哩個真係要比個讚佢呀
....可能東星班多數都係清蒸來食,同埋佢用滑豆腐來配合,感覺好食得健康.....有兩種不同(滑)既口感,真係難忘
下次要返炒


唯一覺得嘛嘛地既就係個冰鎮露筍,味道一般,賣相唔係好得!
其餘既都好好味.....

甜品.....西瓜波波爽,有蘆薈肉一齊食! 天氣咁熱!啱晒

翠亨村是我從小就熟悉的中菜館今次約了一班好友來裝修後的中環店晚飯頭盤:金勾拍青瓜 - 伴蝦米碎有口感桂花西紅柿 - 濃濃桂花香, 番茄鮮甜夾爽冰鎮小露筍 海底椰響螺瘦肉湯 - 夠火喉, 湯料足, 清甜好飲滑豆腐原條 東星斑 - 自製豆腐溜滑, 雲腿絲, 加上魚的鮮味, ,口感複雜而有層次, 全晚最捧明星菜!竹笙瑤扒蕃薯苗 - 第一次吃, 菜苖幼嫩味清新均安魚餅拼牛乳鍋貼 - 多士賣相特別, 內軟外脆甜品 - 蜜糖蛋散 夠鬆脆大良雙皮奶 又香又滑服務員有禮, 招呼好, 許多道菜有驚喜, 大廚有心思, 配菜選料見真誠, 非一般中式酒樓, 整體印象很不錯, 會再來!

個朋友叫我一定要試吓個"蜜汁义燒", 佢話好出名, 所以叫左黎食, 又真係幾好食喎!
好"林"好多汁又唔係好肥。

跟住係個"海底椰嚮螺燉瘦肉湯", 個湯都幾濃味,分完7個人之後仲可以再添幾碗, 海底椰同嚮螺都幾足料,
仲諗住佢會偷功減料添!不過D瘦肉就真係麻麻地,唔得好食囉!

我覺得最好食就係"滑豆腐花原條東星斑", 條魚同埋豆腐花好滑好好食,不過D "硯"汁就多左少少, 小番D 就好喇。

"宮廷富貴雞"上枱個賣相都幾得意, 用錫紙包往成隻雞, 比我地睇完後就有待應拆開佢, 三兩吓手就分得好碎,
雞入面讓左其食材落去,不過唔記得係乜鬼黎,都OK好食。

之後仲有"魚湯翡翠苗"(個湯幾清,菜都OK!) "素粉果"(普通左D!), "蛋散"(好脆,好鬆化),
"西瓜波波爽"(略嫌甜左D,不過有小小驚喜係,有一粒粒桂花糕喺入面,好食ar!)

總括黎講都幾好食,我老師同埋D同學都好滿意,話下次攪慶功宴都可以考慮黎"翠亨邨", 好彩佢地話滿意,做攪手都好大壓力嫁,
周圍揾地方食飯, 好彩冇黎錯地方,呵呵呵!!!

我哋7個人 圍起上黎唔計請老師每人$300.-蚊倒, 我覺得都好合理。

相比起來, 這裡點心雖然種類少, 但比小菜和主食出色, 例如蝦餃, 又彈牙味鮮, 又有不可缺少的筍! 味道比得上蓮香居; 差燒包也夠鬆, 差燒較大粒, 鬆較面包配上彈牙肉感, 口感不錯; 燒賣正常, 比其他酒樓的大粒

另外, 同事亦有叫其他食物, 不過我沒有試, 所以亦不予批評, 只知整體來說大家都是滿意的

埋單$2,400, 算是不貴呢!

My Central friend told me Tsui Hang Village restaurant is reopening again after months' renovation so we decided to make our lunch date there on their first opening day on 6 May! It's actually my top 3 favourite dim sum place in HK! Would like to try their signature hand-torn chicken but too bad it sold out quickly. Would like to try their signature hand-torn chicken but too bad it sold out quickly.
The friendly waiter sincerely recommended us to try soy sauce chicken ... it's really impressive!! Lovely taste and tender ... highly recommend!! The portion is good enough and value-for-money, especially in Central! Didn't try their famous Cha-siu as it'd be too much for 2 people - but I saw the table next to us had ordered, it looked so traditional as usual. Honestly, I think Tsui Hang Village does a good job in "siu-may" as Yung Kee.

Another highlight is the fried rice (Po Yu Chau Farn) ... before renovation, I often ordered this whenever I came. It's still up to standard and no wonder it's an award-winning dish. My friend tried it for the first time and she just love it at the first bite!

The dessert is so so ... I guess they can add more variety. Yet overall comment on food: high quality.
Service is professional, attentive and friendly as before. I'm very impressed that the waitress even guided my friend all the way to the washroom coz it was at the other end of the restaurant.

After all, glad to see it's reopening and I love their new decoration - neat and modern now in comparison to the traditional decor before. The little blue birds hanging in the ceiling are great touch. Gotta think about booking my parents' anniversary celebration banquet here as the private rooms look cozy.

星期日食brunch喺好寫意嘅。有時間可以晏啲起身,滋滋油油咁食兩餐撈埋一餐,又自在又減肥(其實有啲自欺欺人,一餐食多咗咪一鬼樣)。如果選港人最最受歡迎嘅Sunday brunch,非飲茶莫屬!但揀茶樓好考起,間間出品都差唔多(由工房統一生產),仲話唔定由祖國入貨,“即叫即篜”!好嘅點心師父又自己開檔(有啲仲攞埋星!)。有信心嘅茶樓已經買少見少。翠亨邨喺老子號。我耐唔耐都有幫襯。飲茶最頭痛就喺人少。每樣點心想食少少,但一籠有三、四件。兩公婆一人一件,剩返嘅梗喺我哽。。。今日點咗叉燒腸粉、叉燒飽、白玉四寶扎、蘿蔔絲酥餅、鳳爪、馬拉糕、魚茸藕餅。腸粉皮唔夠薄,叉燒飽也是。比較失望。四寶扎箅不錯,有厚菇和大片魚肚、可惜火腿冇乜味。鳳爪也不過不失,算中上之作(如不怕味精的話)。最好嘅係馬拉糕-古法做,有糖香味!蘿蔔絲酥餅香口,饀熱蘿蔔軟。藕餅煎得微脆,加馬碲,都算未全軍覆沒。值得贊嘅喺佢嘅服務水平高,d阿姐態度好,面帶笑容親切。有時食嘢除咗味道,食得悠閒舒服,好好咁嘆下週日。唔駛趕喉趕命,一樂也!

謝謝海哥安排, 食物適合家人, 大家非常愉快!翠亨村吃飯。必需訂位。 我跟家人不時在這家館子晚飯,次次他們的服務都很好很細心,就是端菜的服務員也很有禮貌,這是很少見的。食物方面,這兒的叉燒是很好食,調味很香,不是一味的蜜糖。桂花炒蟹肉很有獲氣,很多蟹肉,粉絲很香蟹味。總結 : 我們一致讚好。有時間再來幫襯!

thanks to its location i come here pretty often for dim sum and dinneri must say their dinner menu is much better than their dim sum menu, which needless to say is quite limited (this has been raised by a number of reviewers already)always have char siu or char siu bao (barbequed pork / barbequed pork buns) whenever we eat there as its 1 of their must-have. v consistent (good) quality, rarely disappointedCentral price, very attentice service in general but can depends on how busy the restaurant

週五係翠亨村吃午飯。相較其他係中環嘅食肆,此店揾位容易,不過上菜較慢,選擇較少。一行四人點了點心數款,有蝦餃、燒賣、春卷、魚餅、鮮竹卷及咖哩鮮魷。另加叉燒燒肉及荷葉飯一客。蝦餃賣相未算飽滿,但內裡的蝦肉還算爽口。燒賣外貌同樣的骰,味道OK,只嫌饀料包得略為鬆散。春卷剛炸起,來得脆口,不俗。魚餅及鮮竹卷水準平平。咖哩鮮魷的咖哩汁香而不辣,鮮魷爽口入味,不錯。至於叉燒燒肉,水準亦討好。叉燒肉質頗鬆軟,富肉香。燒肉放了一會還是暖暖的,雖肥瘦層次未算分明,但味道良好,外皮鬆脆。最後是荷葉飯,餸料較少,飯粒未夠乾身,評分合格吧!綜合而言,加上以往經驗,翠亨村的食物算不錯,尤以小菜比點心為佳。

一行四人點了點心數款,有蝦餃、燒賣、春卷、魚餅、鮮竹卷及咖哩鮮魷。另加叉燒燒肉及荷葉飯一客。蝦餃賣相未算飽滿,但內裡的蝦肉還算爽口。燒賣外貌同樣的骰,味道OK,只嫌饀料包得略為鬆散。春卷剛炸起,來得脆口,不俗。魚餅鮮竹卷水準平平。咖哩鮮魷的咖哩汁香而不辣,鮮魷爽口入味,不錯。至於叉燒燒肉,水準亦討好。叉燒肉質頗鬆軟,富肉香。燒肉放了一會還是暖暖的,雖肥瘦層次未算分明,但味道良好,外皮鬆脆。最後是荷葉飯,餸料較少,飯粒未夠乾身,評分合格吧!

綜合而言,加上以往經驗,翠亨村的食物算不錯,尤以小菜比點心為佳。

Went here for dim sum the other day with my family. Actually a bit disappointed in the choice of dim sum offered. There wasn't a wide range of selection of dim sum that we liked, so we just went for the barbecue pork buns and the tofu pudding. These 2 dishes turned out to be pretty good. I liked the strong barbecue pork flavor in the buns and the tofu pudding was made well. We also ordered the 荷葉 rice (lily rice) and it was not bad. Not too dry and not too soggy. Went here for dim sum the other day with my family.

Actually a bit disappointed in the choice of dim sum offered. There wasn't a wide range of selection of dim sum that we liked, so we just went for the barbecue pork buns and the tofu pudding. These 2 dishes turned out to be pretty good. I liked the strong barbecue pork flavor in the buns and the tofu pudding was made well.

We also ordered the 荷葉 rice (lily rice) and it was not bad. Not too dry and not too soggy. But we just didn't like the fact that the variety of dim sum was far too limited.

Anyway, prices here are overall pretty high as the restaurant's in Central. Service is pretty ok.

年廿八,本來一心想和三個好同事吃餐好兼聚一聚,早知唔好book呢間! 來之前也知道在這挨年近晚的日子吃中餐必定難book 位,怎知同事又很快便在這兒訂到位。一坐低巳知道今天暫停點心供應,只能叫小菜或套餐。算吧!吃炒飯和小菜也不錯。好不容易等到waitress有空為我們落order. 要了一客海鮮炒飯,她說要等20分鐘以上 (當時已是1点10分)即改簡單些的蛋白炒飯,結果也要等到1点半才吃到(早知唔改)。其間不斷看到waiters 把一碟又一碟炒飯(應該是套餐的)送到隔離D枱度 (不如索性停埋小菜,全人類都只可叫套餐!)。 到叫甜品時, 我們要了4個甜品, 又是經過4,5次追問之後,最後只來了2個(時間巳近1点53分) 我們的頭頂巳開始冒煙,剩下8分鐘,就算你立刻攞嚟,又要結賬,又要行返工司,真是倒落口都趕唔切架! 傳菜阿姐見同事A小姐很不滿地要cancel order兼埋單,為氹返我地,阿姐free了我們一個甜品,但仍難平我們的怒氣。尤其是A小姐,她愈等愈急,結果只有她一個吃不到甜品便要離開。總結 : 炒飯不錯(夠乾身),“鎮江骨”我們一致讚好,杏仁茶也不俗。可是在繁忙的午飯時間有如

A friend's bf said that he knew the “best place for dim sum”, against my better instincts I let him choose (every place he had taken to us to was a dud, but I didn’t want to be rude). Hang Tsui Village is a reasonably nice typical dim sum restaurant in Central in a small shopping center. We got there pretty early on a weekday, so it was fairly empty when we got there. O

A friend's bf said that he knew the “best place for dim sum”, against my better instincts I let him choose (every place he had taken to us to was a dud, but I didn’t want to be rude). Hang Tsui Village is a reasonably nice typical dim sum restaurant in Central in a small shopping center. We got there pretty early on a weekday, so it was fairly empty when we got there.

On to the food:
- Siu yau gai (soy sauce chicken / jiang you ji): as you can see, I’m a big fan of this dish and I ordered this dish before my friend’s bf ordered. This was actually very good, tender chicken, great flavor, just generally good. This was one of two winner’s here (unfortunately, neither of them were dim sum dishes)
- Spring rolls (chun juan): I never order these as I don’t really like them, these were a good rendition. Not greasy, nice and crispy exterior and good flavorful insides. Not much more to say about them.
- Rice with chicken sauce (I have no idea what this was called in Chinese or English): someone else ordered this. This was the other dish and the one dish that was outstanding here. It comes in a wide glass bowl thing. It’s steamed rice with a brown sauce that consists of diced chicken, mushrooms, broccoli stems and maybe one or two other things. It’s sort of hard to explain, but it was really good.
- Shu mai w/ scallops (shao mai): these were just decent, I mean were cooked okay, but I wasn’t wow’d by the filling and I’ve had way better shu mai than this (my grandmother’s were about 100x better)
- Meat balls (always forget what these are called): these are those steamed meatballs that you put Worcester sauce on. Not my favorite dish and just okay.
- Cha siu bao (cha shao bao / steamed pork buns): one of my all times favorite foods. These were just okay, the bread was fine, reasonably soft although not as soft as it should be, filling was decent, but sweeter than I like. Fine but nothing mind blowing.
- Ha Gao (Xia Jiao / steamed shrimp dumplings): my relatives once told me that these are what you are supposed to judge a dim sum place on. Well, these were just decent. Skins weren’t as delicate as I like them, filling was fine, but just nothing to write home about. I know places in the US that do a better job than here.
- Pai guat (pai gu / spare ribs): another favorite dim sum dish, another just okay rendition

Now it wasn’t bad and if it was in the US it would be considered good / above average, but I’ve had way better dim sum in HK and this place just didn’t cut it for me. From now on I’m just going to take charge of the situation or listen to people I know have good taste.

我跟家人不時在星期日晚上這家館子晚飯,次次他們的服務都很好很細心,就是端菜的服務員也很有禮貌,這是很少見的.食物方面,這兒的叉燒是很好食,新鮮烹調,很嫩,調味很香,不是一味的蜜糖.清湯牛腩也是這兒的名菜,很嫩滑入味.手撕雞也不錯,沒有骨啖啖肉.桂花炒蟹肉很有獲氣,很多蟹肉,粉絲很香蟹味.不過他們的燒鱔不太好.

估唔到中環啲酒樓,服務可以咁差原本同一班同事去酒樓飲茶都幾開心,點知個呀姐態度實在太差,叫佢攞個碗嚟盛洗碗水,佢話”頭先已經倒咗,無咗囉”,咁唔可以再攞個呀,咁寶貴???只此一次呀你唔比大碗,我哋咪自己洗自己個碗仔囉,洗完叫佢倒咗啲水,佢話”又倒呀”以為自己係大酒樓,就注意吓d碗筷清潔啦,作為客人就唔想自己洗碗先放心食嘢啦.
