尋日同男友去左呢間餐廳食晚餐,完全唔得。平價食材,貴價兼唔飽。廚房唔夠人,而且煮得完全唔好食。我個餐$198+1,包括任飲1.5小時同以下既野:任飲:你叫完d員工都好耐先拎比你!除左青島同汽水,千祈唔好叫菠蘿汁同紅莓汁,因為只係糖水!主菜:一件羊架(無味兼好細件)配菜極小,得薯仔一件仔同少少菜,仲要唔好食既。任選12款玻璃燒:名就靚喇!但完全唔掂。食材平,而且食店好孤寒,五串沙嗲(肉同主菜件羊架一樣無味)、一串煙肉番茄仔(得兩粒同唔好食)、金菇肥牛X2(一樣好細件同無咩味)、多春魚(好細條)、冬菇同蕃薯(夠膽死比一小件)、菠蘿X2(竟然係苦的!)麵:蕃茄湯底/豬骨湯底或加錢$30-40要其他麵。我要左豬骨,黎到只係浄麺加兩條菜,湯底得個咸字!食到呢度已好想死。同男友快快手埋單。點知原來我仲有個甜品... 好啦,就食埋佢。原來係一杯連花奶都欠奉既細芒果味啫喱!呢間野真係一d誠意都無!絶無下次。

麵:蕃茄湯底/豬骨湯底
或加錢$30-40要其他麵。
我要左豬骨,黎到只係浄麺加兩條菜,湯底得個咸字!

食到呢度已好想死。
同男友快快手埋單。
點知原來我仲有個甜品...
好啦,就食埋佢。
原來係一杯連花奶都欠奉既細芒果味啫喱!

呢間野真係一d誠意都無!
絶無下次。

The rest of the choices could be ordered at other restaurants so I chose the abalone and fish maw.
However I felt the noodles were rather expensive because at Maur's Kitchen in wanchai you can order abalone or parma ham noodles for $88 excluding service charge.

There are five types of noodles which can be seen in the picture below.
I chose the bottom most one which is a flat noodle sheet cut in triangles.

Fish maw and abalone noodles
For a bowl of noodles costing $138 you could imagine the most important item is the Abalone, so I was expecting to see the abalone or the presentation as good as their product picture above.
But all I could see was the vegetables on top.

The noodles which were cut in triangles reminded me of wonton skins cut in half.

But overall the noodles tasted great, and the soup was nice and gelatinous.
The fish maw was nice, but it was slightly too fishy.
The abalone was soft and fresh.

Chili sauce
They make their own chili sauce and you can also buy jars of it to take home.

For improvements I think they should improve on the presentation before serving it, but then I did not see the noodles when it left the Chef's hands, the abalone and fish maw may have sunk beneath while it was being brought over to my table.

馬拉松前夕,和老公仔到Gym 房向肌肉作最後的呼喚稍舒腳頭後,就來到預先買了團購劵的醉滋味此店的英文名,More than Noodles,是其創作概念其中以花膠鮑魚麵和東星班麵最引人著目店員服務態度有禮誠懇先端上青瓜薄脆,青瓜爽口味酸,十分醒胃原條海東星新鮮拆肉,新鮮煮製,肉質結實之餘富魚鮮香麵質較稔,掛湯力強,但較欠咬口湯底無加味精,用魚骨熬製的湯底呈奶白色,混合香濃豬骨湯還透出微微鮮蘑菇香,整體頗出色的湯底即叫即燒,包括雞翼,馬來沙爹串,餃子,冬菇,菠蘿利用德國三百八十度之高溫玻璃燒製,使食物更快熟以鎖住水份既能做到原汁原味,雞翼和沙爹串更是外脆內嫰,十分滋味北海道牛奶布甸剛吃過Milk Top的高質牛乳布甸,這裡的也不差質感幼滑,入口極富奶味

这家店开了不久,卖的是fusion的贵价面,装修的比较现代,而且有酒吧区域。我们提前订了位子,结果发现完全没有必要,整个晚上包括我们只有两台客人,可能由于价格的原因。点了招牌的鲍鱼花胶面,和图片一样,确实有两只小鲍鱼,很新鲜。花胶也有很大几片。汤底很鲜美,是炖汤熬出来的,面选了上海面,很筋斗。出色的一碗面,虽然价格有些小贵(138),不过也算物有所值。 朋友点的咖喱牛腩面,牛腩超多,铺满了整碗面,咖喱味道超浓,闻着都很香。葱油饼一般。送的奶茶,茶很浓,奶另奉可以自己加。服务不错,很亲切。

剛剛一時才在醉滋味吃完午飯,三時便已經很肚餓了。 因為看到食評不錯,所以便去試試。 午餐主要供應套餐與飯,小吃/點心只有幾款供選擇,我想,可能晚餐比較豐富吧!我們一行五人,我們五人都選了麵餐。 麵餐包括: A. 前菜 B. 主菜 C. 麵類選擇 及飲品。 A, B 及 C 都是放在湯碗內,碗是大的,可是A+B加起來就只有一個杯碟而已。我們選了:A - 黑豚肉, 手切牛肉B - 鵪鶉蛋及雞翼, 時菜, 魚蛋及魚片頭C - 泰國粉絲, 烏冬 (另外有全蛋麵、韓國拉麵、河粉選擇)總結來說:黑豚肉好像炸過然後用湯煮熱, 又由於太薄(我相信如果炸起來便是台灣的薄脆豬肉片)和太小,唔好食! 雞翼有三隻,美國雞翼size,味道也不錯! 魚蛋及魚片頭比較鹹 時菜是菜心,很新鮮,菜也甜 其他的都沒有甚麼特別。可以一讚的就是沒有味精,不油,健康食之選!

題外話/補充資料: 出門口的時候,看到蔡瀾的簽名在餐牌上,照片在牆上。 但這並沒有增加我們的興趣,反而大家說;果然是與蔡瀾有關係,只做門面工夫,食就嘛嘛!

I have been holding on writing Comments for these restaurants. I saw a couple newspapers clippings ~ and a few magazines about this place, and as all of you Central WORKERS~ you all know how hard it is for us to get a seat during lunch hours. I mean, WE GUYS are ok, we can eat anything anywhere, (lunch box~ me likely when only have 1 hour to dine and towards the End of the month~) HOWEVER, if you want to go on to a Lunch date with your better half, and you want a respectable place to begin with,

HOWEVER, if you want to go on to a Lunch date with your better half, and you want a respectable place to begin with, AND without reservations and TIME (and Money) More than Noodles is one option.

I have lunch with my wife and dinners with a couple friends there.
I love the design of the place. Looks like a Japanese restaurants, clean and neat~ and quit roomy compare to a lot of other Soho/ Central place. Also, the place gives out a very h

Service was good, I wouldn't say GREAT, nothing unusual happened, but it is GOOD ENOUGH. Everyone are Prompt ~ Smiles~

I should have said it up front that I am a Big guy~ and I eat about 1.5 time more than the normal Hong Kong Chinese dude.
My wife on the other hand loves to order a full table full of stuff, especially in a new restaurant, just to see if they were any good.

This time, we ordered the 鮑魚花膠烏冬 ( Wife)
And 薑蘭粒瑤柱咸肉炒飯 ( Me)

We also ordered the 雀巢鍋貼 and 小籠包

The 鮑魚花膠烏冬 was GOOD! GOOD amount of Noodles, Good AMOUNT OF 花膠+ 鮑魚~ the taste was not as heavy as I imagine~ My wife was very happy about it. And the soup has NO MSG! My wife kept telling me how it's good for her skin~ and You can't really have enough of 花膠 in a meal... I did not pay much attention to that~ to tell you the truth, Cos For me, the taste alone did me in for coming again.

The Fried rice was a good size plate of food. You can taste the meat and the egg white Rice. It is NOT as oily as the fried rice out there (Which was Great) NOT heavy, (I think that is what they aiming for here.) but a bit healthier.

I Asked for Chili Sauce~ They Gave me XO醬, and it Turns out they Make their own XO sauce getting More impressed by the minute.

The 雀巢鍋貼 and 小籠包 were tasty HOWEVER, they are not cheap, cost 68 and 58 ( I think ) respectively. BUT the pricing really gets me ... The 雀巢鍋貼 cost more than 小籠包. Hum... See, the usual noodle set cost 88, the 鮑魚花膠烏冬 set cost 138...
I just wonder if they can lower the price of the sides so, I could order more... I hope there is something cost about 30 HKD. (I think that is reasonable for a noodle shop)

I also went there during dinner time~ this time with a few friends from College. We drunk a lot of Wine ~ Beer~ Order things from the Grill~ cost us about 250 HKD ~ and came out with a belly full of meat and beer and WINE...

Ask me to find another place in central where I can drink and eat the same amount of food with that price Hard~ Ask me to find a place with "SPACE" where we can "CHAT" with a small baloney you can smoke outside~ EVEN HARDER.

I think this place is design more with the women in mind. The meals are light~ the in house music are softer~ and the food on the meal~ as My wife puts it, " I can eat this every other day"

For me~ the place is great when I want to drink something and have a meal with a couple friends.. with a small setting.

題外話/補充資料: OH~ The Toilet iS the CLEANEST in Central area! Chinese place or NOT! A Very BIg PLUS!

第一次寫食評評一間新開的食店在The loop 入面的不是西式就是西式或是日式云云看見more than noodles bar應該係o的fusion 野決定book位試試食一行十多人在大雨天走進這一所簇新的店鋪光線十足與外面冷冰冰的大雨天形成很強烈的對比因為晚上關係沒有那麼多人而又有訂檯的關係我們坐下餐牌前每一個位都有一個前菜一個脆脆加青瓜不加思索用手"拿"起放入口還脆的應該是弄起不久的青瓜也很爽口沒有細心研究餐牌因為有幸見到老闆娘吃了她介紹的皇牌鮑魚花膠烏冬不過落左order有少少後悔心諗百幾蚊又鮑魚又花膠又冬菇加五十仲有雞翼同串燒等左十五分鐘左右有得食即刻拎對筷子同匙"了"碗烏冬竟然有兩隻平日o係屋企先食到o既鮑魚同埋有一塊大過肯德雞薯格o既花膠真係以為係阿媽落重本煮俾我食咁鮑魚夠"林"之餘又好趙口個湯底又夠甜有驚喜還有雞翼同串燒對串燒尤其有興趣個口感同平日食o既串燒好唔同有微spicy可以接受食noodle加啤酒呢個配搭o係中環o黎講幾特別不過佢個noodle又真係more than noodle百三蚊我覺得抵到笑下次再去試另外o個o的再寫過

在大雨天走進這一所簇新的店鋪
光線十足與外面冷冰冰的大雨天形成很強烈的對比

因為晚上關係沒有那麼多人
而又有訂檯的關係
我們坐下

餐牌前每一個位都有一個前菜
一個脆脆加青瓜
不加思索用手"拿"起放入口
還脆的應該是弄起不久的
青瓜也很爽口

沒有細心研究餐牌
因為有幸見到老闆娘
吃了她介紹的皇牌
鮑魚花膠烏冬

不過落左order有少少後悔
心諗百幾蚊又鮑魚又花膠又冬菇
加五十仲有雞翼同串燒

等左十五分鐘左右有得食
即刻拎對筷子同匙"了"碗烏冬
竟然有兩隻平日o係屋企先食到o既鮑魚同埋有一塊大過肯德雞薯格o既花膠
真係以為係阿媽落重本煮俾我食咁
鮑魚夠"林"之餘又好趙口
個湯底又夠甜
有驚喜

還有雞翼同串燒
對串燒尤其有興趣
個口感同平日食o既串燒好唔同
有微spicy可以接受

食noodle加啤酒呢個配搭o係中環o黎講幾特別
不過佢個noodle又真係more than noodle
百三蚊我覺得抵到笑

下次再去試另外o個o的再寫過

見到剛剛新開,, 身先士卒去試下先~The Loop 好多人排隊.. 但唔知係咪因為新開無乜人識.. 所以基本上唔使等位..但我今朝以防萬一book o左檯.. 聽電話個人仲叫我12.30前到囉... =.=都算喇... 上到去... book o左檯ge 坐男廁門口隔離..人地walk in 坐係正正常常ge 位度.. 想點?間舖幾光猛..雖然舖名話係bar.. 但無bar ge feel坐低得一張餐牌..前面有d 精選麵食、咖喱同炒飯後面就好似d 車仔麵咁揀野食.不過都有限定揀d 乜.. A(主打配菜)+B(副食)+C(麵底) = $78 真係有什麼魚蛋蘿蔔,,,=.=""見到呢D 款式就已經唔想叫..都係揀返前面D精選算了落完野食就有一小碟前菜..一d 炸蛋片+青瓜青瓜好清甜炸片好脆.. 應該唔係攤o左好耐兩樣野一齊食會食到有d 甜味.. 呢個真係幾gd~~點了$108海鮮冬蔭公湯烏冬 + 凍檸茶少甜海鮮冬蔭公湯烏冬要讚係個烏冬真係彈牙好食!!佢唔係好粗身.. 而且又夠滑不過唔知佢點煮煮到個烏冬成餅野.. 好難先夾得開..湯底比較淡味.. 而且唔辣.我唔太食得辣.. 連我都唔覺

炸片好脆.. 應該唔係攤o左好耐

海鮮冬蔭公湯烏冬要讚係個烏冬真係彈牙好食!!
佢唔係好粗身.. 而且又夠滑
不過唔知佢點煮煮到個烏冬成餅野.. 好難先夾得開..
湯底比較淡味.. 而且唔辣.
我唔太食得辣.. 連我都唔覺有辣味囉..
兩隻無殼ge蝦.. 兩件墨魚.. 四件青口
無腥味.. 青口可接受.. (平時我唔食青口)
不過食完好口乾..
檸茶好過份... 點解d 檸檬大過個杯口..
我好辛苦先篤落一半.. 卡住係杯內..
我怕篤多兩篤隻玻璃杯會爛囉...
都算喇.. 檸檬阻住.. d 冰又多..
糖水沉晒底.. 我搞都搞唔到..
飲到最尾就成口都係糖水...=.=""
篤唔到d 檸檬已經唔係檸茶...
仲要咁樣... 我唔知佢想點..

薑蘭粒瑤柱咸肉炒飯 + 凍啡
英文係 ginger, conpoy, chinese kale and pork fried rice
呢個飯先勁...
我個烏冬食到最尾果啖佢先上檯...=.="
我話下次肚餓要叫車仔麵..
因為隔離檯遲過我地落order.. 但快過我碗烏冬
一上檯就聞到好香..
個賣相其實都ok ge.
不過食落就乾身o左d..
飯還飯..蛋白還蛋白.. 瑤柱絲還瑤柱絲..

勝在凍飲唔使加錢...
asahi 生啤要加$30
有鮮果汁.. 不過要加$25
fruit soda 就加$15
