開心果疏芙里:係個晚餐最好好味,啖啖充滿開心果味, 直係好好食

嗰度除咗個經理態度離譜外,待應都算ok.不過可能因為個阿頭渣,所以班待應連一些基本待客的技巧都冇. 一上菜,因為張枱細,佢地就會張枱面上所有可以移開既嘢(包括杯,碟,點著candle)移去枱上幾它地方, 包括你既手踭邊,於是我俾canlde燙到,我地既杯移到亂哂,唔知邊隻打邊隻.

我地冇叫嘢飲,埋單$230一個人,中等價錢,但如果要等一個月,加上service咁"好",食物水準參差,就一定唔會幫襯.

I went to Agnes B restaurant in CWB last night .... but was totally upset by its food quality and services. I'd suggset you and your friends not to be attracted by the brand name of Agnes B and the media coverage, but do read about the commentaries in Openrice com. I just can't imagine the pan-fried Foie Gras was so bad and when the 4 of us try to share this "little piece" (which costs us $140), we just can't divide it into 4 complete pieces. There are some very strong tissues in the foie gras

I just can't imagine the pan-fried Foie Gras was so bad and when the 4 of us try to share this "little piece" (which costs us $140), we just can't divide it into 4 complete pieces. There are some very strong tissues in the foie gras and when we are able to cut it into 2 pieces, it already melt. Oh.. considering the piece was as big as the size of 2 pieces of sushi. When we complained to the supervisor (i guess a manager wouldn't response it this shit way), he said: "em.. em... maybe we can give you a knife for cutting beef .... is that ok?" My god.... if this happens in an authentic French restaurant, he should take back the dish and check the quality with the chef. And have someone explained to me where and what brand of foie gras they are using. But this supervisor just walked away without apology.

The crepe with ham, cheese and egg is bad, it's just like the Chinese crepe offered in Chinese restaurants but it priced at $108. It's really like the egg and ham you have for sandwiches in the morning at cafe de coral or maxims. But it's not parma ham at all.

The cockerel (chicken) is bad too, it has been cooked too much and it's small too (that's what the girls said).

What impressed us are the Mussels (500g) with white wine and cream sauce, the pistachio souffle and apple tart. I guess it's just a restaurant for cakes and dessert.

Talking about the services, you just can't imagine the tables are so small and the 4 of us has to share a small table which is usually for 2. The servers are not professionally at all, they are lacking the business mindset and would understand the "Journey to excellence". They do not have the product knowledge and fail to recommend dishes. When we finished our main courses, they cleaned up the table... and gone. Are they supposed to "remind" us to round up our dinner with dessert? Even the maxim restaurant would do that, but an authentic French restaurant forgot about this??

Just tell your friends not to go there!

The restuarant is always fully booked and one-month advanced booking is a must. Naturally it is expected the food quality is much apprecited to attract the gourmets.However, it's just another hype in the city. Overall the food is so-so while the price is a bit high in the regard of the food. The cut cakes look much nicer than they taste.The environment is nice and cosy. 作為佢的fans, 仲要係全球首間命名的餐廳, 都真係好想試一試, 但一直以來見各位的食評好壞參半, 我都真係有d驚. 不過都係訂左位去試一試, 真係要一個月前打電話booking呢~打左成半粒鐘先打通是晚dinner, 三月廿四星期六waitor的service幾好喎, 主動俾wine list/drink list menu你先, 之後你唔要就俾正餐menu, 再加埋一set四塊的bread, 仲主動幫你介紹是晚chef recommendation, 到你order完之後就俾可以refill的french bread你. 幾好食, 不過唔敢refill, 因為驚食唔到以下的dishes...Onion Soup ~~~ 其實我好怕架, 但試左幾淡又ok喎. waitor的service幾好喎, 主動俾wine list/drink list menu你先, 之後你唔要就俾正餐menu, 再加埋一set四塊的bread, 仲主動幫你介紹是晚chef recommendation, 到你order完之後就俾可以refill的french bread你. 幾好食, 不過唔敢refill, 因為驚食唔到以下的dishes...

Onion Soup ~~~ 其實我好怕架, 但試左幾淡又ok喎. Salmon salad~~~~salmon味道幾好, 個sauce好好味, 令我平少食菜的都因為呢個sauce食左不少. Tuna Grill ~~~~~好好食, 唔"鞋", 低下的tomato茸好正. Creamy mushroom omlette~~~~~好食, mushroom好好味, 食完先記得原來係$108, 哈! Chocolate Souffle~~~~~~~chocolate味好好, 不過下面冇乜味

整體來講, 食物質素一定冇得同Petrus或者Gaddi's相比啦, 不過係ok的. 服務方面就完全唔覺差喎. 話說當晚原來冇mussel食(好失望), 不過waitor就好好解釋原因, 仲叫我下次booking時可以reserve定喎. Good!

其實睇完食評都知唔好去, 但係友人話始終想去試下, 所以今日一行三人13:45去食lunch, 去到門口, 有人走,以為可以跟住入去唔洗再開門, 點知個waiter想關門, 好似唔想做我哋生意.入去等了一陣有位, 入座之後冇人理, 冇menu , 冇人問我地食咩, 到我問先至有menu 同要問先可以睇下set lunch 有咩食, 最終我地3個都係要2 course set lunch(@165) ( 有soup or salad, 主菜: 牛肉絲及飯or 龍利柳) , 水(成為5x元), 之後見每枱都有包, 但係我地soup 飲完, 都冇包, 又係要問佢係唔係我地叫set 所以冇包, 佢話漏左, 終於有包食啦, 我地3個talk完一輪, 15:15 仲未有主菜食, 又係要問佢, 佢又話漏左單, 而家即做比我, 到有得食, 肚餓o既都覺得唔好食, 結果食完都己經16:00. 最後朋友話真係唔知佢地點做生意, 食dinner仲話要早一個月book, 打死我都唔會再去, 一肚氣!!!!!

The booking was made at 7 pm and I went into the restaurant at four minutes to 7 p.m., ie 6:56 p.m. A waitress told me that they are still closed and asked me and my friend to walk around and come back later. I said it is almost 7 pm, may we take a seat first and they could serve us after their briefing section. The waitress still insisted us to go away first and I insisted my position. The most reputatious main course, angus beef, got a bit overburn and the beef is full of overburn taste instead of the so-called charcoal taste. The lemon tea is awkful. Only the roasted duck leg is quite good.

I made the booking a month ago, go with great expectation and leave with great disappointment. High price, food is just so-so, not recommended!

很少寫食評,為記錄今次慶祝生日,期待已久的dinner (i.e. 需要一個月前訂位),再次動筆。餐廳外的環境很French,而內部比想像中細,有大約十五至十六張枱,枱與枱的距離很近。室內燈光很暗,空氣還有點局。一坐下,便送上一碟暖暖的四片toast,有cream cheese for them.落order後,再有另一籃麵包送上,麵包有三款,全都好味。My Order:A glass of Kir White Wine –Black Currant: 味道一般,有些dry,不過不失。A glass of strawberry juice –Too thick, not really like it白酒Cream 煮Mussels: 味道還可以Mussels size較細,酒味不夠,下次會試另一款tomato source。Shrimp & Scallops Risotto: Lobster with new potato salad (大size): MY favorite dish!! 味道清清地,龍蝦很配合的沙律汁,令我過吃不停。太飽了,這次沒有吃到甜品。值得一讚的是服務很好,有

一坐下,便送上一碟暖暖的四片toast,有cream cheese for them.
落order後,再有另一籃麵包送上,麵包有三款,全都好味。

My Order:
A glass of Kir White Wine –Black Currant: 味道一般,有些dry,不過不失。
A glass of strawberry juice –Too thick, not really like it
白酒Cream 煮Mussels: 味道還可以Mussels size較細,酒味不夠,下次會試另一款tomato source。
Shrimp & Scallops Risotto:
Lobster with new potato salad (大size): MY favorite dish!! 味道清清地,龍蝦很配合的沙律汁,令我過吃不停。

太飽了,這次沒有吃到甜品
值得一讚的是服務很好,有禮,有效率。

這一餐的感覺很好,會再來的,只可惜很難訂位。

Feb 20, 2007It was Tuesday at 5:30pm when I walked in. The restaurant was full of people but the waitress told me the restaurant is closed. The sign outside the restaurant doesn\'t say it closes during that hour. After I asked her why it is closed when the restaurant is still full. She just said the restaurant is closed for 1 hour before dinner...no explanation and her face tell me to just go away. The sign outside the restaurant doesn\'t say it closes during that hour. After I asked her why it is closed when the restaurant is still full. She just said the restaurant is closed for 1 hour before dinner...no explanation and her face tell me to just go away.

I don\'t care how good is the food or how cheap it is, this kind of poor service and management will never get me in the door again.

題目這樣寫,不只是因為這是小妹第900個食評,更是描寫是日心情。 話說小店人氣高企,三點幾去到要等四張檯,兩姐妹唯有到樓上agnes b Librairie Galerie流連。平日的銅鑼灣極度繁囂多人,各人爭相購買最新最抵名牌或仿名牌;樓上卻完全另一風光,簡單、清幽、花草、書香氣息。小逛十分鐘,彷彿自己已經由香港出發到法國;選購完一些合意文儀用品後,帶著另一番心情再品味agnes b le pain grille。 不徐不急的坐下,細心欣賞小店的佈置;是不算精緻出眾,也逼,可我的悠閒在心裡,感覺就是寫意。兩姐妹都揀了cake set,細妹選Strawberry Almond Tart,配搭同樣清淡的The A L'Opera綠茶,我就揀濃郁的Chocolate Truffle cake,配以Sultane紅茶。 我的朱古力餅甜甜的濕濕的,朱古力味幾濃郁,交得到功課但不算出眾。紅茶帶有少量朱古力味,不說卻實在嚐不出來,整體味道普通啦,但其精繳茶具誠然賞心悅目! 細妹的士多啤梨杏仁撻賣相精美,頂層的吉士香甜滑溜,拿破侖薄脆也鬆脆可口,底層就較實較普通.她評價Antique的Mille F

不徐不急的坐下,細心欣賞小店的佈置;是不算精緻出眾,也逼,可我的悠閒在心裡,感覺就是寫意。兩姐妹都揀了cake set,細妹選Strawberry Almond Tart,配搭同樣清淡的The A L'Opera綠茶,我就揀濃郁的Chocolate Truffle cake,配以Sultane紅茶。
 
我的朱古力餅甜甜的濕濕的,朱古力味幾濃郁,交得到功課但不算出眾。紅茶帶有少量朱古力味,不說卻實在嚐不出來,整體味道普通啦,但其精繳茶具誠然賞心悅目!
 
細妹的士多啤梨杏仁撻賣相精美,頂層的吉士香甜滑溜,拿破侖薄脆也鬆脆可口,底層就較實較普通.她評價Antique的Mille Feuille較美味,有同感。她挑的雲尼拿綠茶卻是不錯,其實那是一壺沒有雲尼拿香味的茶,卻勝在很清很清,喝下去舒暢舒心。
 
小店味道稱不上出色,不過那份法式風情始終令人神往。最重要還是自己的一份悠閒心情!

我同三位朋友諗住去食TEA當時係下午六點十分, 我同一位朋友先到門口玻璃清楚寫住星期六既buriness hr係12:00-00:30我同我朋友就推門入去入到去, 水吧果個外藉人士就大大聲講:「we're closed」咁我正想問佢點解出面冇寫呢個時段係close時, 佢用一d好差既態度再講一次:「sorry we're closed!」然後有一個女侍應行埋黎, 問有咩幫到我地我問點解出面個hr係由十二點都十二點, 佢就話:「係呀, 但我地而家收左, 七點開返, 你係唔係要book?」我朋友當時就拎電話出黎打俾另外兩位朋友, 問要唔要book晚飯電話講到一半, 果個女侍應先再出聲:「你想book幾時? 今晚full左架喇喎」佢明知我地係想book今晚, 點解唔一早清楚講明今晚full晒, 要我地企響度講左幾分鐘電話先出聲? 加上水吧態度差得可怕, 我以為自己去左大陸果d街邊食店最可惜係我冇問到果個女侍應同水吧叫咩名, 如果唔係我一定一定打電話去complain!我唔需要知道d野係唔係好食, 但咁既價錢, 咁既服務態度... sorry, 真係說服唔到我會去試.

平時去agnes' b買衫, sale 的服務一向好好點知今日去到agnes c le pain grille , 侍應生服務竟然差個大排擋!!先打電話去問他們詳細地址, 侍應生竟然每一句都有個" law"字, 好似怪你多此一問入到去, 面積不大但好多人客,我同朋友及後面的一對情侶呆立門口center多時都無人理會, 及後終於有位女侍應生回到center, 但竟然當睇我地唔到,到我地主動開聲詢問, 該女侍應依然唔理我地, 全程唔望我地一眼, 只應左我地兩句" 係呀, 無位, 要book 架" "booking去到3月3日”之後繼續當我地透明我地未食已經無曬胃口, 即時奪門而出呢種服務態度去邊到搵

Last time I just went here for afternoon tea , already tried their cake so this time came here for lunch Tried the mussels.. which is consider good quality as they haven't overpriced the dish ( it think it's just $95) Some of the other resturants I've been to they charged like close to $200 ( but of course the dish is much higher standard)I had a simple ham and cheese sandwich with fried egg on top .. unexpectedly yummy ! I agree the tables are a bit packed .. but overall is a good experience !

其實冇試d cake,但就叫左個chocolate banana pancake 同Hot Honey lemon water ($28). 個pancake 一般,雖然買樣幾靚,但pancake一d都暖的(我0係paris食過熱熱地),味道還可以.但... 我相信暖會好d. 另外,honey lemon water 都幾好. 佢比一樽未開左的honey 給我.好衛生. 環境- 出面好像靚d. 想不到裡面咁細. 其實, 如果和朋友傾下計又喜歡試下新野, 呢度都幾好.不過, 下午茶時間,所以人客都係女性.真係一個男性人客都冇呀.
