If you are looking for a place where you would be impressed with good cocktail and liquor quality/selection, coupled with good seafood and dining/drinking in a setting where you would be able to mingle with your other half or dates, then congrats, you’ve found a hidden gem in Wan Chai.
I was recommended by my Italian friends to give this place a try so I took a leap of faith (not trying to be racist here). Upon arrival, I
was immediately impressed by the whole restaurant/bar’s décor. I then put the bar manager (Andrea) to the test when I ordered “Corpse Reviver No.2” and to my surprise he actually knew what it was (none of the other bars I’ve been to in HK know what I was talking about…) and made it for me to perfection straight away (literally – he didn’t google). Perhaps it might be of showmanship by the way he created the cocktail, but my corpse reviver was one of the best I’ve ever had in my life!
Later I ordered around 2 dozens oysters (consists of $10, $5x) ones which my friends and I destroyed with ease. We then ordered their Lobster
Roll, which again, was another highlight one must try! The Clams Spaghetti was another good one too!
We later ordered a few more classics (cocktails) before marching our way to LKF. It’s an awesome place, must give it a try.
N.B) Upstairs is the restaurant in which it would be catered for a more formal/quieter setting. And I believe they also have VIP rooms
available.
