We came here for some kind of celebration tonight and the food and the service tonight was absolutely satisfying.The restaurant does not offer set dinners. There are not many many choices on the menu but many of them looked attractive to us. So we asked the server to make recommendations. The 3 kinds of bread are not very fluffy but are rather dense and chewy. I like the tomato bread most.

This cold soup is very appetising. It's creamy with a little sour taste, quite some crab meat in it to make it flavourful


Next we have our appetisers, I ordered the Oyster and Hamachi tartar while Hubby got the beef carpaccio.

This is not a cheap dish but definitely worth the money. The super fresh Gillardeau Oyster is chopped and mixed with hamachi tartar, tomato confit, avocado and topped with Caviar!! This is really delicious

The beef carpaccio is served with my favourite artichoke and arugula. The chef added a little light mustard sauce to enhance the flavour. Another very appealing appetiser.

Then we had some carbohydrates before we had our main courses.

The sea urchin risotto is creamy and mouth watering, yet you can still feel each grain of rice
you can see generous amount of sea urchin on top and mixed in the rice. A must have if you are a sea urchin fans

This pasta with langoustine is another nice surprise. The pasta used is called chitarra or guitar ( which is a kind of pasta I have never heard of
). The chitarra is thicker and more chewy than normal pasta. The tasty tomato sauce sticks really well onto the chitarra! The langoustine is really yummy too. It tastes somehow like lobster!

Pan-fried iberico pork neck served with some vegetable cooked in balsamic sauce and a spoonful of perfectly done mashed potato. The iberico pork is very juicy and tender but the mashed potato is actually the real highlight of this dish
it's so smooth and creamy that you would want to ask for more!!!

Roasted baby lamb chop is always my favourite main dish. The baby lamb chop is thick yet perfectly cooked. It's a little crispy outside but extremely tender inside. The middle of the lamb chop is still pink and juicy!

This is the best tiramisu and coffee ice in town. The coffee ice is surprisingly rich! We like it so much we have to ask the server how to make this coffee ice and we were told that it's made out of expresso

The tiramisu sitting next to it has perfect taste and texture. We simply love it

This dessert drew a very nice conclusion to our celebration dinner.

We will definitely come back for another great meal. Till next time

先淋上 rum酒在蛋糕上,而蛋香蛋糕能吸著rum酒,
配水果粒及忌廉,整體味道不會過甜也不會帶有rum酒的酒精味道,反而有陣陣清香味道,細問之下原來是放了雲尼拿籽,
難怪味道很有層次感。

It was my first time to try burrata cheese, and I found it interesting. It had a solid outer layer, and the creamy insides spilled out when I cut the cheese. The trios of tomatoes each gave different sourness and sweetness, while anchovies brought savoury taste. They all matched well with the burrata cheese

Baba with rum: A good dessert is always the highlight of dinner (at least to me)
This dessert surprised both of us, first by its appearance and then by the flavour. The baba soaked as much rum syrup as possible. It tasted sweet with very slight liquor flavour. I would immerse the baba into the syrup before bringing it into my mouth, so that it could grab even more of the yummy rum syrup
My boyfriend liked it so much too, even he doesn't like alcohol

職員為我們特別介紹這道菜式,原來意粉是大廚親手製作,所以望落是扁身的,跟外間食到的圓碌碌的與別不同,別樹一格,而且食落仲多點煙勒的感覺,所以跟老公有點搶食的情況。
另一方面,旁邊的大蝦啖啖肉,入口超級鮮味。

大廚選用了北海道的海膽製成,RISOTTO 發出金黃色的光芒,非常吸睛。
老公已經瞄住果幾 PAT 海膽,所以係咪俾 RISOTTO 我食,不過都俾我搶到兩塊海膽,覺得 RISOTTO 個汁煮得好濃,好香好滑,而海膽的海水味濃郁,怪不得老公食完一件又一件吧~

I've heard so many good things about this restaurant in the past so this appeared on top of my list when I wanted to do a nice wine dinner. The food was alright, I thought all the courses were mediocre except the wagyu prime rib which was very very good, probably one of the best in town actually. Pink in the middle it's juicy and very tasty. The Uni and sun dried tomato risotto was also nice. However, I didn't really like the service and attitude of the staff there. The food was alright, I thought all the courses were mediocre except the wagyu prime rib which was very very good, probably one of the best in town actually. Pink in the middle it's juicy and very tasty. The Uni and sun dried tomato risotto was also nice.

However, I didn't really like the service and attitude of the staff there. The way they say things or the way they say no certainly wasn't very caring and warm. I have a feeling that this place is mainly for regulars which they will be more attentive to, which is rather unfortunate. Business seems to be pretty good so maybe that's why they don't really need to pay so much attention to the non-regulars.

Not entirely sure if I will come back again but I will certainly miss the prime rib if I don't!

Unlike other strong taste fish like tuna, black cod is mellow and rich. It is not an easy ingredient but is well-cooked here. Slice the golden crispy skin over, you will find the pearly pure white flesh.

The signature Italian dessert, served with Coffee ice. Liqueur with almond taste is used to make the bottom layer. One bite with the tiramisu followed by a spoon of coffee ice is recommended.

有說這個risotto派頭十足,曾獲得Robuchon的好評~主廚Angelo亦因此被獲賞識

Risotto的生熟程度控制得剛好,沒有因為迎合大眾的口味而煮得偏腍,加上每一顆飯粒均被金黃色的海膽汁所包圍,連同一片又一片鮮而不腥的海膽放入口中,好像沒有什麼要批評的地方

這個螺絲粉融入了意菜Carbonara的做法,但當中為了減低膩感,故此減卻了忌廉和蛋黃的成份,改取加入含中國色彩的“咸蛋黃”!
螺絲粉的調味並不花巧,正因如此更能突出咸蛋旦的咸香,配合了數片薄切風乾的豬面脥和鮮嫩的籚筍,看似簡單卻能吃出大廚利用食材特質的精妙配搭

除了由軟滑的mascarpone cheese和沾上espreeso而變得濕潤的lady finger所做成的tiramisu外,旁邊更附上一杯coffee ice,跟著店員的建議,一口冰再一口tiramisu

就是這樣笑著吃著的與友人享受了一頓滿意的燭光意菜,加上每道菜式上檯時也有店員的細心講解,令我倆可在品嚐美味的同時更了解到菜色的特點和大廚的心思,教人吃得身心均覺飽足

跑馬地係一個富貴得來又低調的小區,無倒模豪宅,呢度唔似中環銅鑼灣,區外客唔多,但居然養得到好多高質素的餐廳及店鋪,可以想像區內居民消費能力極高。今晚來食意大利菜,餐廳氣氛輕鬆,好好生意,平日都滿座,味道唔錯,甜品尤其出色,價錢唔平但份量合理,要知道今時今日好多貴價餐廳份量似餵雀。侍應友善,知我唔識字,好有耐性地解釋餐牌每道菜。我地幾個人share 頭盤,每人一個pasta同甜品,已經無位置再食main course 了。
