今日又同老公出來試新嘢!早幾日先試過附近的一間,老公十分不滿,本來今日可能不來,不過好彩有侍應下午打比我確認訂位,我們才有去!行去已經很熱,入面冷氣不大,有風扇,我ok但老公都覺得熱.winelist d酒不合口味,故只叫了杯Shiraz tablewine which is ok!I like the crispy wheat bread and we ate two portions!頭盤我要grey shrimp, 老公要mussel,兩味都good!Main dish 我要lamb fillet in pastry, 老公要mushroom risotto, both are good too!Desserts I ordered Dutch pancake with vanilla ice-cream, 老公要chocolate cake! 也很好味!朱古力香濃在熱情果source下十分好吃! One of the first restaurant service experiences I've ever had in HK. The food in Orange Tree I will admit is not bad, but for the price you are paying (all mains range from $200 - $400) the food unfortunately cannot make up for exceptionally bad service. We were a table of 5. Came on a Monday, it was not super busy, they had 2 tables available so we went in. One of the first restaurant service experiences I've ever had in HK.

The food in Orange Tree I will admit is not bad, but for the price you are paying (all mains range from $200 - $400) the food unfortunately cannot make up for exceptionally bad service.

We were a table of 5. Came on a Monday, it was not super busy, they had 2 tables available so we went in. After sitting down for 5 mins, we had to call out to the waiter to give us menus. 10mins later, again, had to call out to a waiter to get someone to take our orders.

15 mins, finally, bread arrives.

After 1 hour from the time we sat down, we still did not recieve any food. Called the waiter, they said they would check on it.

10 mins later, our food arrives. Finally, by then we were starving so I guess anything tasted good after waiting so long.

We finished our sparkling water and asked the waiter if we could get some tap water. He said no. What kind of restaurant refuses to serve tap water after paying for mains that are all over $220?

The waiters here are extremely unattentive. Non-existent in the back room infact if you're unlucky enough to get a table there. Everytime we had to call out loudly so someone would notice us.

To top it all off, we waited 15mins for the bill, decided to go and pay instead and then one of the other waiters told us to go back to our table and they will bring the bill to us. They brought it but failed to give us the 2-4-1 monday deal, even though we showed our card right at the beginning. The waiter said he would go back and fix the bill, and I quote from him "I will be 10 seconds". After waiting 5 mins, one of my friend had had enough. He went out and there was nobody doing the bill. He asked to see the manager and complained to him, but I don't think it was the real manager that night. The guy came running back and apologised after my friend said "the service here has been appalling and we will never come back." He seemed to laugh it off and say sorry sorry in a joking way. We will were not amused.

Orange Tree, we will never come back to your restaurant again. Your service is a disgrace, you waiters seem arrogant ande chummy, and you don't deserve to charge the prices you do when McDonald's has better service than you.

Booked a party for 7 people on monday,we ordered a good selection from both starters and mains(had super monday card)ive not tried dutch cuisine before,ill try again for sure,had the meatballs and smoked salmon to start both ok,mains we had beef tartare(best ive ever tried)lamb fillets 2 portions very nicecrouper fish enjoyedlinguine with prawns ok needed a little sauce thoughbraised veal cheeks great and served with gnocchihad a couple of bottles of wine(pinot noir and cotes de rhone)both good

Perhaps because we didn't order wine, the service was very poor. The food is generally above average, unfortunately, the 2 waiters were too busy to provide any service at all. We need to have 4 attempts in order to make our order (the waiters kept asking us to wait whenever we want to make our order and they never come back).Oh, they did not provide water for free, hence customers are reminded that you may need to order distilled water (around HK$72).I would not recommend anyone who want to enjo

soho上少少,都幾難搵細細間,環境都ok~幾relax,因為係閒日好少人,全晚得4枱人所以好hea好輕鬆3個女仔,冇開酒但叫左4個main course,飽到要打包不過真係好好味,好有水準店員好落力推介,不過都好細心知我地女仔食唔晒都叫我地唔好叫不過我地咩都想試冇理佢hahaa

To many Hongkongers, Valentine's Day is a byword for rip-off, preset meals served by sleepy waiters in a fake romantic setting.

Orange Tree, however, is an entirely different story.


Thanks to sheer serendipity, I went there for our Valentine's Day dinner with my beloved gf (well, she is reading this note).

We heard Orange Tree is serving great food. And now we can testify that it is serving not only great food, but also something unique in HK.

When the table was booked, I was told that set dinner would be served on Valentine's Day. My gut reaction was: gosh, would it be another trap?

It proved that if ever there was a trap, it was a nicely devised, meticulously formulated dinner with three sumptuous and delicious courses: starters with platters of seafood (scallop, tiger prawns etc) or platters for meat lovers (duck liver, confit, etc), which are followed by, well, in my plain and bland English, tenderloin wrapped in some pastry with truffle sauce, or seabass and french mussels in some orange juice sauce. The final dish is an assortment of desserts dotted by two big hearts (one white cheesy heart and one chocolate mousse cake) and various sweeties of Dutch origin. I washed down the meal with a glass of champagne and a glass of Chilean white wine.

To summarise our comment in one word: marvellous!

The thing so special about this restaurant is the use of quality ingredients and food, which sets this restaurant light years away from the high-street restaurants or hotel eat-outs. I can smell and taste the freshness of the beef (a few bites thanks to my gf) and seabass. I also feel the backbreaking efforts of the chefs to prepare the dazzling array of sweet desserts.

The environment is typical of a small boutique restaurant. Tucked away in an area a bit hard to find for me, but nevertheless serene with a feel of old Hong Kong as it is surrounded by old streets and buildings, it is a place for relaxation and some fine dining.

I was quite surprised to see quite a number of young people dining there on Valentine's Day. It is gratifying to see that some "people born in the 1980's" would gravitate themselves towards truly good food. And for those who cannot read English menus or lack knowledge about proper table manner, they should calm down and think about how great food should be consumed.

Overall it was some of my best dining experiences in my life. The food quality is even better than many restaurants in so-called five or six-star hotels. After the dinner I kept on thinking how on Earth Hong Kong has the fortune to have such a great chef from Holland. He must be honoured as a master chef, smiply for his passion about food and about life.

so happy that i found another friend to eat some dutch snacks after i've stayed here in HK for 4 years~recommended to drop by in the weekend lunch hours (fri-sun) in the urban city of central soho, yet not in LKF~ peaceful & quiet place to have a nice chat with some friends

This is a very good restaurant and if you're Dutch then you will really like this place since it's the only Dutch restaurant in town. I don't know why people complained before about the service, it was great when we went. Everything we had was delicious including the Bitter Ballen, Garnaaltjes, Dover Sole, Lamb Fillets and Eggplant baked in Puff Pastry and to finish off, Poffertjes The selection on the wine list was very good and should suit all tastes.It's a lovely little cosy restaurant next

The selection on the wine list was very good and should suit all tastes.

It's a lovely little cosy restaurant next to the escalator. Highly recommended and it's been there since 1997 with the same owner.

不經不覺,和妳拍拖已經一年了,我們都很期待這天的來臨!我自問不是一個稱職的男朋友,謝謝妳在過去的一年對我的包容、鼓勵和支持,為了慶祝這一天,很早以前我已經選定了這裡作為慶祝的地方。由於已經問過曾經來過這裡晚飯的食友,知道是要用電郵訂位再確認,約一週前已發了電郵,等了一天卻未有回覆,於是就打電話去訂位,接電話的男人除了greeting第一句是用英語外,整個過程也是用廣東話對答,感覺有點奇怪。7月13日(星期一)晚,我如常地去接妳收工,這天剛巧是妳試行轉換工作組別的第一天,所以我特別用心等候,雖然我訂位時說八時半。在等待妳的時候,我發現帶了“單反”但又忘記了帶電池,幸好我都有帶昨天妳陪我買了新的“傻瓜機”!八點半過後,妳終於可以收工了,妳來找我後再慢慢地沿著扶手電梯行去餐廳,期間我更不斷努力地分散妳注意力,希望妳別再寄掛工作上的煩惱。過了堅道,很容易就見到餐廳。入到餐廳內,因為過了訂檯時間,我沒有說訂了檯而祇說兩位,那位中國藉的男侍應就指我們去牆邊的二人檯,我們坐下後就給我們menu。之前我已經做了功課,已選定要點Lamb Filltes & Eggplant,跟著就由女友決定再點甚麼。女

Seared Scallops wrapped with Parma Ham Pomelo Salad and Kaffir Lime Leave Dressing :一小片帕爾瑪火腿卷著肥大肉厚的扇貝肉,全碟共有三粒,經過輕烤後扇貝肉質幼滑,鮮味清淡,和濃味且有咸香的帕爾瑪火腿一起吃,美味倍增;
Coral Trout Fillet a la plancha with Saffron Seafood Sauce Sautéed Spinach and Vegetable Pearls :鱒魚煎得肉質結實幼滑,味道清甜鮮味,淋些檸檬汁更覺醒胃,但我倆覺得最好吃的是墊底的菠菜,非常嫩滑;
Lamb Fillets and Eggplant baked in Puff Pastry On creamed Leeks and Rosemary Jus :我就是為了這道菜而來的,吃罷卻未有驚喜。薄薄的茄子黏附在羊柳條上,被酥皮包裹著拿去焗,酥皮鬆化而茄子軟腍,羊柳條羊味濃厚卻不羶,肉質尚算嫩滑,不過有點韌;
Blue Berry Cheese Cake with Wild Berry Gelato And Whipped Cream :芝士味濃郁,餅底亦鬆脆,女友覺得紅莓雪糕比較酸卻很醒胃!

整頓晚飯我們也覺得很開心,食物質素有如預期般美味,環境亦很舒服寧靜,如果服務可以好些的話就近乎完美了!服務方面,外籍男侍應尚可,服務週到有禮,但那位中國藉的男侍應表情木訥,態度毫不友善,招呼更如家坊酒樓侍應般一樣,就連埋單“多謝”一聲也沒有說過!

過去的一年裡,慶幸我們並沒有大吵大鬧過,因為我們都知道彼此間相處要懂得珍惜、尊重和體恤對方,希望在未來的歲月我倆也是如此!

蘋果分會的聚會當然不至在蘋果~先多謝大家的支持才成事~~好友曾經在這裡度過一個又緊張又開心的平安夜~而這個神聖的地方~也成了大家下一個目標~好沾一沾這裡的光芒~哈~~經電郵訂位後~老闆Pieter在當天中午也致電來確認~單在話筒中傳來的聲音~小比就知這個老闆必是個有趣又和藹的人了~~~每次gathering都愛早一點到達打點一切~獨個兒坐在餐廳中沒有半點不安~因為這裡的感覺很像歐洲小屋~是荷蘭不荷蘭~沒去過~不知道啊~但有種在劇院看廚具當樂器的音樂節目的感覺在大家到來之前~Pieter就十分有耐性地給我每個item都介紹一下他的recommendations~雖然小比其實早就在其網頁擬定好是夜的菜式~但聽過他的見解之後~也稍作改動~他還很好人的說遷就我們的人數而改變份量大小~好讓每個人都有機會嚐得到~雖然沙律是小比的主要糧食~但gathering倒不能這樣自私~面對一群食肉獸~是夜就免了沙律~直入頭盤小吃~至少我可每道的伴碟吃到蔬菜吧~雖然大部份西餐廳都會先問你要sparkling/stilled water~但也會有plain/warm water upon yr request~但

雖然大部份西餐廳都會先問你要sparkling/stilled water~但也會有plain/warm water upon yr request~但這裡就沒有~就要了一枝~~不想破費卻沒有選擇~大家陸陸續續的到來~雖然過程有點費神~但無損大家意興~先來農夫粗麥包配上牛油和olive oil~成了大家在等齊人時的醫肚小吃~~先來Bitter Ballen~是為炸牛肉漿的小丸~還以為會是實心的肉丸~誰不知就是半流質帶點肉漿的那種~是個新奇又有趣的小吃~吃起來又方便~每人提起一枝小旗就成了

再來是seared scallop wrapped with Parma ham~Pieter說會因應數目再給大小適中的帶子~至少不用二人分吃一隻吧~結果就齊齊整整的有十一隻~人人有份~~這味在蘋果綠的除夕特別晚餐也嚐過~但這裡的是實在的新鮮和飽滿~若二人前來~帶子必定再大得多~更滿足~因有著火腿的咸香搭上帶子的鮮味吧~底層的是柚子沙律~曾經有一刻覺得不太配合~但吃起來與泰式的當然是兩回事~蠻清新的

Black Mussels是參與性較高的一道~見到好友的動動手食法~大家都模仿起來~又真是吃出個滋味來~以白酒的香逼出青口的鮮~大小剛好~也沒有吃到不喜的微細硬物~但可能落單時搞了點亂子~要兩份來了三份~最後還是婉拒了~因為大家其實都吃得不多~把多出來的都給了熱愛mussel的好友自得其樂~

與好友們相識日子久了~當然也清楚他們的口味~~自此以後都少不了生牛肉~薯蓉~薯條等必點項目~~要吃菜~也總不能叫大圍就自已一個~所以在這個小小的橙~也少了不Steak Tarta~ creamed potato~一大盤薯條~grounded好~sliced好~這裡是前者的牛肉他他~賣相放成一尾魚~toaste~fresh salad~加上那議論紛紛的小咸魚乾塊~大家都對生牛肉有點戒心~吃得步步為營~小比對此味已見慣不已~配上多士後吃~比淨吃的為佳~因牛肉內早已mix入調味~creamed potatoes是為片狀的焗薯~~但白汁稠度濃淡調得好~掛身焗起來還帶點焦~與同為side dish的sautéed mushroom同受歡迎~當一大盤french fries放在好友面前~眼裡早就發起眼部火焰炮來~大家你一把我一把~炸得通透的薯”蓉”條轉眼就失蹤了~

主菜一次過上~放滿一整張長檯~壯觀得來卻有點抱怨上得太快~haha~第一名物Lamb Fillets and Eggplant baked in Puff Pastry~由Gentleman平分得靚靚之後~其實每人只有一小條~未能盡嚐其精巧的配搭和化學反應~只覺得羊肉不太香來帶點韌~~相反全晚價值最高的一整尾Whole Dover Sole ~煎得是完美的金黃格~皮和骨脆得近乎可以全吃下~肉質幼嫩~是為全晚的高潮~小比也最愛吃此~當然少不了配煎魚最佳的fennel~本身淡味~卻善於配搭鮮嫩海鮮~~這個小橙樹對海鮮的掌握似乎很到家~整晚的海鮮都做得不錯

Sautéed Potato Gnocchi充份利用巧妙的顏色配搭~mushroom~ asparagus~ cheese~ zucchini…. 二人吃此味必會飽滯感直線上升~皆因Gnocchi為GI值高高的薯仔為主導的手搓麵糰~但十一人分吃兩碟~每人都貪吃的吃了粒之後~又忍不住QQ下~最後又吃多幾粒~確實Gnocchi不常吃到~是個很好的體驗~但小比更鍾情碟內七彩繽紛的配菜~

Dessert Menu看起來其實不太吸引~想試的只有特式小pancake~ Poffertjes每個都有” 時時食” 餅餅的大小~灑上糖粉後再配上一大球Vanilla Ice-Cream~友人都說有點像AG的Brownie Sundae Presentation~哈~這個小pancake比平常DIY的鬆化~也不像南亞的克戟~大家吃過不停~至於Chocolate Truffle cake就略為苦甜了一些~叫上一件卻傳了一圈也吃不完~但甜魔友就對此愛不釋手~Selection of Orange Tree~這個Sampler原來也有Poffertjes~大家又爭吃一下~haha~但中間的raspberry sherbet和chocolate mousse就不太受歡迎~因加入甜酒的chocolate mousse不太誘人且raspberry向來有種藥水味~大家似乎還未吃夠~已經在商議接下來的蔗汁~綠豆沙~Gelato~昏了~~~呵

賬目有點亂子~但問題不大~因開了酒和不少枝水~最後每人比原定多了$50~也總算within budget~最重要是Pieter的親切家鄉式服務~但經驗老到的waiters就有點刻意的Professional~荷蘭不荷蘭? 大家都沒有多少評價~因為是吃的是多國菜~蘋果分會下一個目標是甚麼? 士多啤梨啤梨蘋果橙~蘋果橙士多啤梨點樣揀?

荷蘭菜對我來說最有印像,便是希靈魚,今次再來,餐牌上已不見此味了.細看其他菜式,很多也是歐洲大陸各國的菜式居多.正所謂去旅行時,人們說的荷,比,盧,即是荷蘭,比利時,盧森堡.在菜單上,也會找到比利時代表青口,同牛肉他他.亦有意大利的薯仔麵團,或者是英國的Dover Sole等等.整體上,也找不出一點點荷蘭菜的影子,或許同英國一樣,飲食文化一早受到外來者的重擊,變成印尼菜,也成為荷蘭菜的代表之一.

未上菜之前,先點支白酒,Bushman,s Gully的Semillion Chardonnay,二百多塊一支,有說是四季酒店的其中一隻House wine.因為這支酒,是我們圈子之中,其中一位友人代理.喝落有種說不出的"親切".

先來的小吃是Bitter Ballen deep fired beef dumplings with Dijon mustard.在每粒肉丸上面,也插上小小的荷蘭國旗,如果你是荷蘭人,或者是捧荷蘭國家隊,一定會有份莫名的親切感.而肉丸的麵包糠外層香脆可口,內裏的肉餡不是一味肉,而是帶點點cheesy,有點奇.點些法國布根地的Dijon芥辣吃,不客氣地吃了兩粒.

Sears scallops wrapped with Parma ham,Pomelo salad and Kaffir lime leave dressing.用Parma ham卷住帶子來一起燒,本身Parma Ham的油份也逼到入去帶子裏面,帶子鮮味肉質飽滿,帶點點Parma ham的咸香,幾夾的一對拍檔.下面的柚子沙律,有點東南亞的味道,畢竟荷蘭也曾是印尼的宗主國.

Black Mussels with diced celeriac ,carrot shallots and garlics in a white wine/cream saurce.小弟一向愛好藍貝,當花生吃得不亦樂乎.小弟吃mussels,一會用個殼當工具,夾出青口肉來吃,桌上眾人不是很多人明白,還是用叉吃.始終沒有那種豪情.用白酒去煮是最佳之演譯方法,酒香但不重,不會搶去藍貝的鮮味.這碟藍貝肉質嬌嫩鮮美,沒有吃到沙,毛同臭味,小弟正在想,手上的藍貝是來自比利時?定法國?一問之下,原來是來自美國波士頓.

法式生牛肉他他,要自己動手去混醬,而在Orange Tree吃到的Orange Tree style steak tartar,就一早將醬料混合在牛肉內上桌.如果是法式,一定會多隻生雞蛋,而這個牛肉伴碟之中,有熟的鵪春蛋.小弟吃到生牛肉,一定口水多多,又會說各地的生牛肉菜式,有什麼不同,味道又是如何之類的話題.說回主角牛肉他他,面頭上的物體,大家正在議論紛紛,其實是鹹魚一小塊.不用人手切,牛肉用搞拌機代勞,將其搞碎,再撈各式醬料,肉質極為纖細,吃下去沒有筋,肉味很濃.正宗的食法.是伴上多士吃.不過,你喜歡點吃就點吃,付鈔的是你,有誰能夠干涉?

來個意大利薯仔麵團,口感煙齦有彈性,身邊的年青人,就用到台灣的詞語QQ來形容,材料有露荀,野菇,伴上黑松露醬同Mild parmasen sauce,清新之外,亦吃到黑松露的香味.全夜最貴的一道,便是煎Dover sole,當然,英國多佛的龍利魚,一向身嬌肉貴,用煎的形式上,肉質很甜很嫩,魚皮很脆,近魚邊的魚鱗更加酥化到連骨也照吞.吃不起金邊方利,唯有吃個金邊龍利,來慰藉一下心靈.最後的主菜是酥皮茄子羊柳,當年沒有數碼相機,沒有拍下食物照,幸而當年有用文字去記錄下來.但最後的一味,竟然是最平凡,因為吃不出羊味出來.說回肉質,也不算特別嫩滑,有點點失望.

大伙兒再吃些甜品,最深刻的是Poffertjes with Vanilla Ice cream.Poffertjes好像我們的雞蛋仔,配上細滑香濃的云尼拿一同吃.眾人甜品之後意猶未盡,想再去蘇豪其他甜品店再下一城,不愧為甜魔也.

蘋果之後,橙也吃了,下一步,會吃什麼水果?

有特別原因要食荷蘭菜,此店全港獨一純荷蘭菜,無得揀。放工時段搭港鐵中環出搭自動電梯上半山,很花時間,上山沿途食肆都很多人,但愈上愈少人。此店亦冷冷清清。食完後要行樓梯落山,行動不便或膝關節有問題的要預搭的士落山。正如下面說,一坐低問飲乜野酒,說不飲就掉低餐牌走開唔願理。後來叫鮮橙汁面口至好回一些,但要等很耐,待應要由外面拿回來(唔知去買定去倉攞)。本餐牌中文及圖片都欠奉。用有限的英文水平看很多都不知是什麼。費了很多時間都不知叫什麼,叫個部長(或經理)來問,問了一個主菜是什麼來,他祇敷衍了事,答不出實在是什麼,又說你們未想到食什麼,想到才找他落單,不待回答走了去其他地方(那時不是很多客人,不是太忙)。我們叫他來就是攪不掂個餐牌求助,不慬用中文解釋(他是中國人)都可以介紹一些必食精品麻(Andy Lau金句真的是永遠適用)。菜式沒有什麼特別,地方不大。清水看了下面已預了要俾錢,所以都不肉赤。以每人$400來說不算貴,但會用來去其他地方食。很多大排檔的服務比這裡好很多。如非必要不會再去食了。

平安夜的晚上,可以選 3 / 4 / 5 courses,不論是 appetizer、main course 或 dessert,也有多款菜式選擇,絕不會死版的只有一個 x'mas set,這點店方確值得讚賞。Appetizer 要了Smoked Duck Breast and Duck liver terrine, Mango and Salsa Verde Dressing,薄薄的三片煙鴨胸,可看出大廚的刀功,沙律精緻,芒果也相當醒胃,再將鴨肝塗在脆口的麵包上,入口鮮甜,是個不錯的前菜! Grilled Scallops wrapped with Parma Ham, Pomelo Salad and Kaffir Lime Leave Dressing 是你的選擇,喜歡沙律的你,應該不會失望吧!

主菜,我點了出名的 Lamb Fillets and Eggplant baked in Puff Pastry On creamed Leeks and Rosemary Jus,羊肉與茄子釀在酥皮中,入口後層次感一流,羊肉的羶味充分發揮作用,酥皮的煙韌及那入口即溶的茄子,確是一絕;Sautéed Potato Gnocchi with a mild Parmesan Sauce, Truffle Essence, Asparagus, Forest Mushrooms and Cherv 是另一主菜,雖然你喜歡澱粉質,但薯仔粉的確容易令人飽肚,或者是這道菜小小的缺憾...

到了甜品時間,分別是富荷蘭特色的 Poffertjes with Vanilla Ice cream 及 Chocolate Truffle Cake with Mango Coulis,前者是圓形的小 pancake,口感卻有點像主菜的小薯粉,印象只是一般,後者是充滿濃郁朱古力味的 cake,唯此刻感覺已相當 full,沒太多空間容下這件甜品了。

這餐 3 courses dinner 接近個半小時,是時候送上我為你準備的禮物,絕對切合這夜的主題,或者過程是有點雞手鴨腳,但希望你喜歡這份小禮物吧。閃閃平安夜,能夠順利完成,真心要多謝大廚 Pieter,身邊為我打氣既好友,同埋你既參與... 或者也要多謝祝我今年好過下一年的朋友,忘記你姓甚名誰,但今年,最後的尾班車上,我找到了最好的...

To be fair, food was ok but it was a real daylight robbery when I saw the amount they charged for a glass of warm water. They charged me HK$20 for a glass of warm water. It's a major rip-off!! I can understand that fancy restaurants serve only sparkling or still bottled water. But this is my first ever encounter in HK where they charge you HK$20 for a glass of warm water. Not even sure if it came from mineral water or just the bloody tap water. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! The waiters should pre-warn custo

They charged me HK$20 for a glass of warm water. It's a major rip-off!! I can understand that fancy restaurants serve only sparkling or still bottled water. But this is my first ever encounter in HK where they charge you HK$20 for a glass of warm water. Not even sure if it came from mineral water or just the bloody tap water. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! The waiters should pre-warn customers how bloody expensive they charge for warm water. I gave the waiters a piece of my mind on their charge of HK$20 but they had no explanation. Not even bothered to say that it's bottled mineral warm water or anything like that.

The meal came up to be HK$300 per person which I think is ok for the food we had but seriously charging HK$20 for a glass of warm water just pisses me off. I will never go back again!

呢間荷蘭菜餐廳,我已經想嚟好多年,aug 08, 08,2人來食dinner,叫咗 :

1) 麵包(免費)
-皮脆,麵包鬆軟,只可惜唔夠熱

-另外包住佢嘅parma ham,就比到鹹香味,底層嘅柚子肉同西洋沙律菜,+埋帶荔枝香味嘅dressing真喺令到呢到菜有好豐富嘅味覺享受
-雖然呢道只喺正常嘅西餐菜色,但整體配搭同味道都較荷蘭蝦仔出色,我哋1致好欣賞

4) lamb fillets and eggplant baked in puff, pastry on creamed leeks and rosemary jus
-waiter另1推介
-其實令我好想嚟呢間餐廳全因為呢道菜,吸引我嘅原因喺酥皮內包住4條羊柳同矮瓜,好特別嘅做法,所以我對佢充滿期望
-個酥皮薄,但可惜唔脆,矮瓜份量比我想像中少,但個羊柳中心部份呈粉紅色,真喺好嫩滑,1d”鞋”嘅感覺都無,有羊味但唔"so"
-個白汁大蔥蒜夠creamy
-另再有1兜白汁焗薯片,都好味
-如果1個人全碟食晒,都幾heavy,味道唔差,但就無我想像中咁好

5) poffertjes (dutch coin size pancakes) w/vanilla ice
-waiter又1推介,問佢除咗呢個甜品之外, 仲有無其他特色甜品,估唔到佢話無,咁緊喺聽啦
-每個pancake size只不過喺大個$5銀少少,但每個都暖熱,又夠牛油香,友人仲食得出牛油嘅小鹹味
-配以dreyxx'x嘅vanilla雪糕
-呢個第1次見同食嘅甜品好好味,再encore多個我都得呀~~~

6) 意大利無氣蒸餾水 (500ml)
-唯1 1點就喺無tap/ filter water供應,有d掠水

- 全晚嘅菜色味道好得,所以我哋2人都好滿意

- 服務好好,亦無介紹錯菜色比我哋,解釋亦詳盡,全塲得1個侍應/經理因客人不多,我嗰晚(由我入去到我走)連埋我呢張都喺得3枱客,無翻過枱。其實以佢個味道同服務質素,應該好多客先啱,唔知喺唔喺位置太隔涉/僻之故
