I was gonna eat at the food court in Hysan, but the trendy decor attracted me. The outside is decorated with superman like memorabilia and the place also has a mini photo machine that you can play with to edit pictures. The menu selection is small, which I appreciated but I ended up choosing an assorted spicy seafood ramen off their separate seasonal menu. The one thing I did notice is that they charge for everything. Most ramen places give you free tea, there's a charge for it here. Most ramen places also include condiments, none here either.
The texture of the ramen was alright. It was cooked nicely. The broth was not too spicy either but I do have to say that it was definitely over seasoned. It was just too salty. Sometimes you can get away with it by being salty and rich. This broth not so much.
My ramen also came with free dumplings. They were generic and cooked nicely. Nothing to write home about.
Overall, I feel like you're paying for the novelty of the place more than actual food quality. Don't get me wrong, the food was alright, but it was just so average, there are cheaper places with the same quality. So average almost to the point of forgettable.
