五月上旬‧悶熱飯局過後,想找個地方睇埋場波。可以想像,在駱克道一帶,每一個有波睇的地方都絕對的是插針不下。就算不介意迫,也有不少人在室內吸煙,要找一個可接受的地方,不易。心血來潮,上這裡看看,又真的有位,還要是對著大銀幕的位置,超正。這裡雖然是座無虛席,但因為外邊露天的位置是吸煙位,所以室內的空氣也幾清新的。來一杯生啤吧,以為照酒牌叫,但要什麼就沒有什麼。說了一輪,看來一杯Leffe Brune。用上的是膠杯,看色水已不對路,味道也是拉了生力吧。再來一杯健力士,黑啤那綿密的酒泡是賣點,但是晚的拉成好像汽水的泡似的,喝多幾淡,個膠杯更顯現了Krispy Kreme的字樣!不過也不要緊,至緊要找到地方睇波,可惜場波沒有入球,和氣收場。

之前曾經給此餐廳劣評並從我lunch餐廳選擇中除名. 後來收到餐廳回應及邀請我去享用lunch. 這算是很有誠意的反應, 但當時我無應邀.最近有一天因無頭緒去邊度食lunch, 於是再到這餐廳一試. 這次lunch 後感覺招乎幾好, 食物都唔錯, 埋單都好爽快, 既然有改善, 這次之後都幫襯好幾次. 食過牛扒, 法式鴨胸卷, pasta 等set lunch菜式, 好味, 價錢合理. 這裡已再是我lunch 選擇之一

試過這裡幾多食物,為何只寫Burger?因差不多時也試過一間也較出名食Burgers 的店 Burgeroom。食物質數:送到黎時,陣陣的香味。Trafalgar's Burger的牛肉,食下多汁,口感並不是一般的漢堡扒,佢有漢堡扒的鬆軟,也有牛扒的咬感。一啖咬落去,品嘗到面包的香脆,隨後是鮮甜的菜,特製的醬汁,食到漢堡扒時,加上牛肉汁。另外,配菜也不錯,一食就知是空運到港的,沒有苦澀味,清甜,從此,也打消了我從來不吃這些配菜的念頭(因為我以前食過類似的菜,還以為全部都是苦澀的)。超正,記住唔好慢慢食,趁熱食。Burgeroom,我就試左Mushroom Burger with Cheese Expensive,Burgers到我面前時,真的好香Mushroom味,好想食。但咬落後,又唔係咁好食,特別是Burger內的主角,咬落去,口內感覺不到牛肉的香味,牛,就如一般的漢堡扒,淋淋的。消費者都會比較重價錢:再者是差不多,Burgeroom的部分Burgeroom還較貴一點。貴就等於好食,就見仁見智!但比同樣的價錢,Burgeroom,環境細細的,不太好坐,成日都會因為周圍的人行來行去而

Firstly, I would like to thank Trafalgar for their Britishly gesture.Came here for a weekend lunch, and decided to order traditional dishes rather than the set lunches.It was quiet and relaxing for a good chit chat.Ordered Toad in a hole, and chicken kiev.The toad in a hole was served with mash and salad, and the chicken kiev was served with chips and stir fried vegetables.Toad in a hole:This was yorkshire pudding batter baked with sausages and served in rich onion sauce.The dish was piping hot

Firstly, I would like to thank Trafalgar for their Britishly gesture.

Came here for a weekend lunch, and decided to order traditional dishes rather than the set lunches.
It was quiet and relaxing for a good chit chat.

Ordered Toad in a hole, and chicken kiev.
The toad in a hole was served with mash and salad, and the chicken kiev was served with chips and stir fried vegetables.

Toad in a hole:
This was yorkshire pudding batter baked with sausages and served in rich onion sauce.
The dish was piping hot from the oven, and the mash was good.
I really liked the onion sauce, it went very well with the mash, infact I contemplated ordering bangers and mash, but in the end I ordered this because of the yorkshire puddng, it would be great if there was more yorkshire pudding or some at the edges so when it is baked, it would be crispy.

Chicken Kiev:
Rolled chicken with butter and herb filling inside.
If you've had the bird's eye ones, they are escaloupe form, the ones served here are like two big rolls encrusted in bread crumbs and fried.
The whole kiev was quite crunchy and tender, but the butter in the middle didnt ooze out.
As for the chips, they were the lovely crunchy flat cut chips, and there was a generous pot of garlic mayonnaise sauce provided too.
The vegetables was good to balance out the dish, but slightly Asian style.

In general it is a good place to hang out over the weekends for a good long and relaxed lunch.

I've been to Trafalgar more than 10 times now and I've tried quite a few things on their menu. I have to say the general quality of the food there is really good and the price is also reasonable. Here are a few things which I find really tasty1) Toad in the Hole - excellent gravy and herb filled susages (cumberland?); smile(2) Chicken Kiev - the chicken is suprisingly tender and the fillings are good;(3) Scampi and Chips, Fish and Chips - both are really good. (2) Chicken Kiev - the chicken is suprisingly tender and the fillings are good;
(3) Scampi and Chips, Fish and Chips - both are really good. The batter is quite well done;
(4) Lamb shank - large portion;

I also heard from my friends that the pies there are really good, but I haven't tried them yet.

Very friendly service - but you have to remind them of your orders at least twice!

Typical English Pub atmosphere. Spacious in door area for non-smokers.

作為傳媒工作者,食煙飲酒就一定有。今次推介Trafalgar,飲Hoegaarden全日$31pint。對於有得合法食煙再加杯酒又坐得舒服perfect!地鋪有D可以食煙,但只係一兩張檯可以咁,張檯又高。一D都唔好坐。Trafalgar既可以合法食煙兼飲平酒。鐘意o係市區飲平Hoegaarden,呢度真係唔錯

After my first visit when it had opened not so long, the food took ages so I waited longer till my second visit.On my second visit, I came with a group of four people.We were arranged a four people table which sounds reasonable, however the Daily menu was placed at a rather odd spot, behind the chair.If you see the picture, the customer will be blocking the menu view, also not an appropriate place to place the menu, firstly people can’t see through people, and the person infront of the menu woul

On my second visit, I came with a group of four people.

We were arranged a four people table which sounds reasonable, however the Daily menu was placed at a rather odd spot, behind the chair.
If you see the picture, the customer will be blocking the menu view, also not an appropriate place to place the menu, firstly people can’t see through people, and the person infront of the menu would need to turn their head 360 degrees to see it.

The waitress who served us, had rather funny English with some chinese mixed into it, she was introducing the dishes on the board, saying:

“A CHAN is chicken leg with baguette, B CHAN burger, C CHAN is ………, D CHAN
notice the chinese word CHAN mixed up with the English!

We ordered the chicken leg with baguette, Burger with cheese, Chili Con Carne, Cheese and Spinach quiche.

For starters we chose minestrone soup and ham and apple salad, which was also funny as the waitress pronounced it as “Manistrone soup”.

Anyway the starters came, the soup was ok, the salad was quite nice, thick mayonnaise sauce with diced apples, ham, strawberry and almond flakes.
Then the main dishes came, when she put down the dishes, she verbally said the names of the dishes, however the Chili con carne which she said was "chili con carne" was actually Chicken Tikka Masala, also entered wrongly as Chicken Tikka Masala on the bill. It was also much more expensive than the Chili con carne. We wanted to tell them at the time, but my friend did not want to waste time and have the right dish cooked, he also thought there wouldnt be much of a price difference.

As for the chicken with baguette, I think it should be written as chicken thigh not chicken leg, because chicken leg is normally a drumstick with bone.

For the cheese and spinach quiche, the contents on the plate was rather empty, just a few pieces of greens, fried onion rings, and the quiche. The onion rings tastes better than the ones at Outback, not so greasy.
The quiche was not firm at all, I thought there was too much spinach in it. The cheese in the quiche was very creamy and tasted like Camembert.

Anyway we were nearing the end of our lunch, and drinks were served. Then we were given complimentary fruit.
All our cutlery were taken away, so we had to eat it either with fingers or toothpicks.

Lastly we got our bill and realised she put Chili con carne as Chicken Tikka Masala, but anyway if you’re an experienced waitress, even if you input the wrong dish for the chef, you should know what the dish is when you serve it.
Also we noticed something amusing on the bill, for my friends burger with cheese had the remarks
“ > no sausage, want cheese instead Add sausage”

I doubt burgers have sausages in it anyway, unless its a sausage muffin like Mcdonalds.

If I had no choice in Wanchai I would probably come here again, but my friends have certainly blacklisted it.

今日去左間上樓既英式餐廳食飯,間餐廳環境非常唔錯!系香港地好少呢一種格局既餐廳(有室內同室外)室外重有2部投射機重可以食煙(good)因為我去食飯既時候系happy hour所以上面都好多人食飯同飲野...所以要等好耐先有人理會,等等之後又系等等,不過真系好肚餓..等左1個字有多終於有人理喇!!我同個朋友叫左個南瓜甘荀湯喇,凱撒雞沙律喇,魚立魚喇,fish&chip喇!雖然等落單系耐左d,好彩食物都好快到首先黎左個湯同沙律,個湯好好飲好香南瓜味,味道又岩岩好喎,唔會太咸又唔會淡。飲完個湯再食個沙律,開頭睇個賣相都唔差...但食落去原來個汁同d菜系咁岩個喎d雞都好滑,之後fish&chip同個立魚一齊黎哂...我睇到個立魚落哂口水好香~我同個朋友一人一半,我地食完都話好味..個fd話個魚好滑好香魚味喎...食完都飽飽地...之後再慢慢飲下酒食埋個fish&chip...我覺得個炸魚好香脆..好好味,個青豆蓉汁,咸咸地酸酸地,好過癮...食完真系好飽...個fd重話想試下d甜品,但系食唔到...為有下次再食....總體間餐廳d食物好好味飲品一般,價錢唔太貴,不過埋單個陣又要等叫2,3次都人

,不過真系好肚餓..等左1個字有多終於有人理喇!!

我同個朋友叫左個南瓜甘荀湯喇,凱撒雞沙律喇,魚立魚喇,fish&chip喇!

雖然等落單系耐左d,好彩食物都好快到
首先黎左個湯同沙律,個湯好好飲
好香南瓜味,味道又岩岩好喎,唔會太咸又唔會淡。飲完個湯再食個沙律,開頭睇個賣相都唔差...但食落去原來個汁同d菜系咁岩個喎
d雞都好滑,之後fish&chip同個立魚一齊黎哂...我睇到個立魚落哂口水
好香~我同個朋友一人一半,我地食完都話好味..個fd話個魚好滑好香魚味喎...食完都飽飽地...之後再慢慢飲下酒食埋個fish&chip...我覺得個炸魚好香脆..好好味,個青豆蓉汁,咸咸地酸酸地,好過癮

總體間餐廳d食物好好味

今晚行行下街無啦啦想食西餐...咁就捉左個firend去食喇...早排見某本雜誌介紹過間餐廳...見環境幾好咁...就一於去試下啦...一上到去...咁大間餐廳竟然冇人帶位既...要我地企左陣先有人見到我啵...好肚餓了...我地兩個都好like蘑茹湯..咁就叫左兩碗蘑茹湯...個湯唔錯啵...點解可以咁有蘑茹既濃味既...好似好足料咁...到食沙律既時候...我叫左希臘沙律...我真係好鍾意食芝士..呢個沙律竟然用左芝士粒配新鮮沙律菜...個味到好夾...直得推介...主菜我叫liver and onions...我覺得好夠肉汁...我再望望我個friend果個炸雞卷...個樣好吸引呢...切左d黎試試...好味好味...d雞肉肉質嫰滑亦好夠牛油味...真係意想不到...因為通常o係第二d餐廳食到既雞係冇咁嫰滑既感覺...真好味...雖然開始飽...但d野食實在好味...我唔得捨走住..點都要叫番個deserts食下先得...我叫左brownies...真係好好味...d朱古力既味道正到難以形容...好彩係一個deserts兩個人食...真係好飽好好味...聖誕節一定要叫boyfr

7月3日(星期五)晚,是晚女友又被上司無理取鬧,女友激動到非立刻離開公司不可,打電話給我問我在那兒,幸好我已幾乎到達,不過女友寧願在天橋等我也不願在公司樓下,可知她非常氣憤!我和女友會合後,女友說想找個比寧靜舒適的地方坐下,我突然想起這裡,不過又不記得詳細位置,於是就去地鐵站免費上網的電腦seacrh,找尋一會後才找到。我們坐地鐵過灣仔,依著地址去找,去到方知pub的位置其實就是外國bar立林的樓上。上到去,waiter問我們想坐露台還是室內,其實我是想坐露台,但見很多人在吸煙,惟有下次罷,於是就坐在門口隔離的二人檯。看過memu後,這裡食物和飲品的選擇頗多,當然有些英式地道食物,環境頗噪吵,始終人客多而空間少。我們沒有點晚餐,因為不太肚餓,祇點了一客Fish & Chip 來吃。女友點了杯Mocktail “Diet Im Bru”,聽waiter解說好像是可樂加些青檸和薄荷葉,味道祇屬一般,未見特出;這裡的Draught beer 選擇約有五、六款,而我依舊選擇Stella,冰涼順喉。等了約十分鐘,食物送來了。鱈魚約有兩大塊,炸醬不厚,據KC兄所言,炸醬奇厚才是正宗;鱈魚肉質幼滑,

;鱈魚肉質幼滑,仍吃到有淡淡的魚味,薯條頗大條,炸得香脆,不過份量很少,十條也不夠,伴碟的沙律和綠豆蓉則很一般,不吃也罷!
綜觀這裡,如果來飲野Happy Hour 的話應該不錯,以draught beer一杯為例,平均比地鋪平一至兩成;不過來吃正餐的話,則自行決定了!

Slight hope to re-cap the joy from my happy UK student days. So was there!Decor is close enough- British pub look-alike. Powerful air-con (we sat indoors).Ambitious menu. Usually not a great sign for small restaurant. Decided to play safe then.My $108 Set Dinner included:Tomato SoupRibeye Steak with Roasted VegCoffeeMy lady had super dry pan-fried Liver steak. Tomato Soup - obvious trace of processed tomato puree
Ribeye - steak was good! Nicely seasoned
Roasted Veg - DISAPPOINTING. All dry inside... coz they were all frozen veg
Coffee - wehey, that was not bad
Not bothered with desserts.
Guess if I am a true lad I wouldn't mind all those.
A good pint and live sports on big screen are all they desire. And they have those!

Crab Meat & Asparagus Risotto -- 幾好味, 如果啲意大利飯可以更有咬口就更好!
German Cheese Cake -- OK, 味道唔太甜, 有芝士同檸檬味...

女友嗰份:
Mussel Salad -- 普普通通....
Rib Eyes -- 唔記得乜sauce, 不過幾濃幾好味.... 奇怪店員無問個steak要幾成熟, 所以份牛扒有成八至十成熟.... 好在味道唔太差....
German Cheese Cake -- OK, 味道唔太甜, 有芝士同檸檬味...

埋單時發現呢道係唔收service charge o既, 不過我都好樂意另外俾tips 佢.....
下次再嚟試佢個fish & chips......
