Christmas came early for our taste buds last night. We had heard good reviews of this restaurant and it so lived up to its name. Staff were extremely attentative. We were served what seemed like recently baked bread with the most delicious smoked butter (Not sure how they did it but it was really good.) Christmas came early for our taste buds last night. We had heard good reviews of this restaurant and it so lived up to its name. Staff were extremely attentative. We were served what seemed like recently baked bread with the most delicious smoked butter (Not sure how they did it but it was really good.) Bread was complimentary and we were offered seconds wihtou having to ask.
We started with the The Merguez (tunisian sausage) and the Pork Belly. The sausage was very spicy and so very tasty. The pork belly was even better. Sometime you get it where it is soft all the way through even the skin but this was spot on -crispy on th outside and so moist on the inside. It worked wonders with the marinated plums and panna cotta.
For the mains we ordered the Wagyu and the head to tail lamb. My wife asked for the Wagyu to be well done as she is pregnant and to our delightful surprise the chef had advised that if they did that to that type of meat it would not be nice at all. He provided an alternative to replace the Wagyu in the same dish and they adjusted the price of their own accord.
Once again the mains could not be faulted. They were delicious the flavours were extraordinary on the head to tail. My wife had similar comments on her meal as well. We finished with the passion fruit dessert to share. It was wonderful conclusion to the meal.

There weren't many people there when we were there for dinner so it maybe a different story when it is packed but through out the whole meal the staff were attentive and paid particular attention to explain each item on the plates although our waiter did come very close to the food as he was pointing out each item. Tables were well placed so that you were not so close to the next table you felt like you were dining with them as is the case with many places in Hong Kong. Without doubt I would recommend this to anyone.
