今日過海本來諗住去波記見識下聞名以久既燒鴨肶瀨,點知星期日唔開,於是走左去對面市政大廈熟食中心,打算睇下個間老闆好過癮既四川美食。當然早餐都未食,無理由走去叫條巴蜀烤魚,於是坐低叫左D例牌茶記乾牛河加咸魚雞粒炒飯,見唔少阿伯阿叔幫襯叫魚餐,一條魚加碗飯再加個例水$35真係超值,條魚仲任叫整法添。唔怪得枱枱都叫啦。等兩碟野黎既時候,見唔少水煮菜,於是又忍唔住叫左個水煮肥牛鮮魷,一個拍青瓜。兩碟炒飯炒河,碟頭唔少,味道亦唔錯。拍青瓜個汁幾好味又唔太辣,不過就拍得唔夠爛。個水煮肥牛鮮魷係用面盆上,嚇得我倆個人點食,但其實肥牛鮮魷唔算好多,反而成盆芽菜辣椒,我揀中辣但其實都唔算太辣。最衰遠,唔係下次過黎食晚飯試下佢個烤魚。

因為公司起堅尼地城,有時心血來潮都會走黎石塘咀食晏,黎過幾次街市個熟食中心,之前因為就個唔食得辣嘅同事,所以都會去其他幾檔,但今日既然同事已走,就去辣一辣佢!本身想叫個午餐,店員話賣晒,一輪咀推介左5,6樣野,我就揀左辣子肥腸,嘩,黎到碟嘢紅噹噹,有一半都係炸辣椒,大鄉里出城,真係未見過到食落口,真係正斗,豬腸香脆得黎唔係話好辣,味道略鹹佐飯一流,其實有啲似椒鹽炸XX咁,不過就辣少少,如果嫌唔夠辣,可以食下啲炸辣椒,我就咬左兩粒,真係辣到喊……見對面個阿姐叫左個水煮鯇魚,明顯係辣好多,下次一定要試下!最後我食剩啲辣椒,臨埋單我問老闆娘:「啲辣椒唔使食晒嘎?」佢話:「裝飾黎嘅啫。」臨走,幫我落單個店員話:「你碟肥腸就真係抵食,我地員工自己買返去食都無咁多肥腸。」呢啲咪人情味囉!

到食落口,真係正斗,豬腸香脆得黎唔係話好辣,味道略鹹佐飯一流,其實有啲似椒鹽炸XX咁,不過就辣少少,如果嫌唔夠辣,可以食下啲炸辣椒,我就咬左兩粒,真係辣到喊……見對面個阿姐叫左個水煮鯇魚,明顯係辣好多,下次一定要試下!最後我食剩啲辣椒,臨埋單我問老闆娘:「啲辣椒唔使食晒嘎?」佢話:「裝飾黎嘅啫。」臨走,幫我落單個店員話:「你碟肥腸就真係抵食,我地員工自己買返去食都無咁多肥腸。」呢啲咪人情味囉!

招牌麻辣鷄煲(大辣,半隻) 落單時服務員話中辣已經好好好勁,所以強烈建議我地叫左中辣先,唔夠辣先再加辣都未遲,咁我地見佢咁緊張,所以就聽佢講一次上枱已經聞到好香好惹味~熱熱的煲炒到D鷄咋咋聲,加上青紅椒洋蒽,大蒜係咁炒~睇到已經令我地呢班餓鬼,流晒口水~終於入口~感覺真係太意外,鷄係有鷄味的,而且唔算瘦,即使炒過收左水,仍有食啖啖肉的感覺~唔錯~!嗯…辣味方面雖然係有辣味,但係一定唔係我地心中的感覺~!於是就叫服務員黎同我地加辣,我地一心諗住佢會拎D乜野秘製辣汁比我地啦,經我地的目測,感覺只係一般的辣椒油…加左大約半小碗,我地再試味,結果都唔突出,為左可以一嘗辣到喊的感覺,於是再叫服務員再加辣, 今次服務員個樣己有少少不爽,但仍同我地再加一小豌…加完辣又試試~仍係覺得唔夠再想加~今次服務員已經唔再點理我地,我地再三要求,佢就話:老闆講要加辣就要加 $ 20!!! 嘩,….我地真係呆晒LA…係乜野道理~!?! 最後因心情不爽,決定唔加錢,亦再冇同佢地作冇意義的溝通!!
蜀巴辣魚(大辣,一條) 上到黎個樣好令人興奮!外面炸到4,5成熟的鮮魚放喺辣湯入面,再有辣椒青菜木耳大花蒽一齊慢煮,有少少刺鼻仲有少少香~未食就覺得好食~入口感覺魚鮮甜啖啖肉,但係唔算辣囉~~
水煮牛(大辣)- 全枱唯一一上枱就好有辣感的菜式!!紅椒辣椒胡椒仲有厚厚的一層辣油…加上好多數之不盡的調味料,令到每一啖入口都有好多雜質,仲有好多芽菜.牛肉片就好少好粹好細件,感覺雖係有辣味,但主菜真係唔知係牛肉定係菜囉~!!
我地用珍貴的時間品嘗到的係空歡喜一場~唔辣到嘁到算LA…仲話要加錢…感覺好深刻,,.而且真係好不爽~反省自己…其實只係去左大排檔~唔應該有過高的期望
相信呢到會比我列入don’t come again 的名單當中~但願佢地可以有所進步~~真心的!!

睇電視見到介紹桃源美食,即刻上開飯網搵吓係邊區,見到D食評讚好多過彈就決定約埋班好辣[]既朋友去試。果然冇令我地失望,D川菜做得唔錯,全部都有分大,中,小辣,粤莱都好有水準呀!口水雞又夠辣又夠滑~香辣雞煲夠香夠辣重有好多乾葱頭,芫荽,鐘意食香菜[]既人就最[]岩! 加湯打邊爐都重得呀!巴蜀烤魚同樣做得咁好又夠斤兩,我地就用埋黎打邊爐水煮田雞味道就唔錯, 可惜田雞太少豬紅酸辣粉,酸味較重辣味不足豬紅太碎有D失望我地重叫左椒鹽鮮魷,放耐左都一樣香脆,生炒骨,甜酸味適中,咸魚雞粒炒飯,略為濕左D,碟頭就真係夠大有四大碗呀!萵苣,午餐肉就用黎打邊爐,汽水,啤酒一定唔少得,六個人食,每人都係$140,真抵!

和久未碰面的朋友聚餐,有人提議吃水煮魚,所以就到了石塘咀的熟食中心。雖然很快就上菜了,可是魚還沒有完全熟,必須等到水滾之後才能吃。巴蜀魚味道還是一樣好啊!當然我指的是麻辣的湯底,雖然味道沒有特別濃,不過我們還是吃到全身熱。魚就ok,不過反正這道菜最主要還是取決於麻辣的湯。

點了水煮完魚午餐。又點了啤酒。其實應該送飲品的,但是你不講,他們不會告訴你。環境較差,午市忙的時候,盤碗洗得過來嗎。令人擔憂。菜上來之後,發現魚肉較少,菜底也較少。午餐的原因吧。味道還好,麻辣味道不是很足,但是都可以啦。結果覺得不夠吃,又點了口水雞。味道也是還好。

先來的是沙嗲肥牛粉絲煲,真的很大煲也很滾燙,白煙直冒醬汁在滾,面層舖滿肥牛肉,眼看也有不少的青紅椒,加上洋蔥及芽菜,配合濃郁的沙茶醬汁,牛肉掛上了不少沙茶醬汁,味道濃得跟牛肉就是絕配,加上爽口的青紅椒及芽菜、惹味的洋蔥,熱騰騰的非常好吃,也千萬不要錯過墊底的粉絲,吸飽了沙茶醬汁的粉絲,味道好就不在話,雖則稍嫌彈性不夠,但夾起來至少不易斷,實在也很是不錯。

之後來的是口水雞,雖則口水雞是一味涼盤,而且也只是點了例牌,一大碟呈橙紅色的東西,面層除了辣汁之外,也能見到不少的芝麻、花生、芫茜及辣椒乾等,夾上一件雞就張口去吃,雞肉多個部位都很腍,一點兒也不嚡,但就稍為有點點散的感覺,雞肉蘸汁吃夠鹹,入口是吃得到花椒,但其味道又不太強,就連花生及芝麻的香味也不太夠,加上辣度又麻麻,看來有點有形無神的感覺。

之後來的是水煮鯇魚,本來想加多廿塊錢吃魽魚的,貪它魚油比較豐富,肉質也爽口彈牙一點,可是原來是日要魽魚的,就只可以要個大的八十八元,心想都是有點不值,一於就點經濟一點的鯇魚,這水煮魚看來都挺有水準的,面層的紅油上浮有不少辣椒乾、芝麻、花生、芫茜、花椒及蒜,蒜的味道使整碟水煮魚的味道變得更濃。

不過舀深一點取魚件吃,發現層紅油不太厚,水煮的汁也是不夠麻不夠辣,所以底下的魚肉或是大豆芽也好,味道夠鹹但就個麻香不夠,至少咀唇不太發燙,身體也沒有狂冒汗的反應,說回主角魚件,數量也真不少,入口不着泥腥味,肉質嫩滑但就比較腍散,而且吃起來也挺多骨,而配角大豆芽入口爽嫩無渣,真的蠻好吃。

最後也用上一點篇幅提提店家的白飯及啤酒吧,啤酒不太夠凍而個杯也是沒有先雪過,所以喝起來不夠冰涼;白飯夠大碗,但就稍為多水份了一點,吃起來偏軟身,不過仗着那麼多好下飯的小菜之勢,一碗白飯又怎會難到我們。

誠然此店子的質素,也不要拿來跟渝川及三希樓來比,就算是北角街坊川店小辣椒也勝它一籌,不過本着一分錢一分貨的精神,其實又很難說它三,再說它四了。

蒜泥白肉即是將蒜頭磨茸,與切成薄片的五花腩和白菜一起吃. 蒜味超級濃郁,吃後會有口氣,但五花腩經處理後變得稔滑,也不會過肥,表面的皮層更變成類似者喱的口感,爽爽彈彈的很好吃.重點是有些肉片中有小許豬軟骨,咬下去是會又有者喱的爽,又有豬肉的滑,更有軟骨的脆,豐富的口感超級好.

再來是今晚的重點菜式-巴蜀烤魚. 阿姐出動明火爐和金屬架,將一整盆鯇魚連紅當當的辣汁加熱,場面墟陷.
魚是大鯇魚,上面以大蔥,芫茜覆蓋,只是表皮熟了而已,所以只能夠靜靜等候水滾才能夠起動.

也不用多夠就ready的魚肉, 老實說,我個人不覺得味道特別好,是因為我不喜歡淡水魚的泥腥味?又或是這條魚的確有點過腥? 但眼見爸媽努力不停地吃也大贊好吃,這相信是個人口味的問題吧.
不過, 這分量可真不小,沒有三四個同好此道者(不包括我), 相信會無力將有不少肉的它完成呢.

滿是紅油辣椒的一餐, 令人吃得非常滿足, 也便宜,只是二百七十元左右.


不過環境就真的一般, 檯面餐具都是立痴痴的, 阿姐們也越叫越走,是生意好的原故吧.
也因為明爐烤魚賣相實在驚人,很多人走過到會對我們的枱行注目禮,私隱度可算是零.
又,場內的通風系統不好,吃完會滿身麻辣油煙味.

I love Sichuan food, that mouth-numbing tingling sensation leaves me wanting for more each time. I ordered all my usuals: the saliva chicken, the cucumber, the hot and sour potato noodles with chicken (also available are beef, pork, pig's blood etc.... we should have gone for the beef, there was too much chicken on the table), and the fish in chilli broth (we went for the fish that supposedly had less bones and a little more expensive ($68 vs $48) but there were still heads, tails and fins in it, so beware).

Everything was supersized - massive portions! It could easily have fed 4 people instead of us too, but we ploughed our way through it, nose running and tongues aflame. The chicken was succulent and tender, and the fish was fresh and piping hot. I loved the more peanut-y version of the cucumber which gave the tongue a cooling sensation from the spiciness. The only disappointing thing was that the noodles came in a cake straight from the packet, they didn't even bother to stir it around to loosen it up, and it was damn hard to pry it open when the bowl's sloshing with several large pieces of chicken, lots of veg and minced pork.

The chilli factor was definitely up there to challenge anyone who likes it hot, but it wasn't as mouth numbing as I'd like it. Real Sichuan food isn't just about making you cry, it's about the subtleness of the spice letting the flavours of the ingredients come through. But if you happen to walk past on a cold winter's day and need something to fire up your stomach, this ain't a bad choice at all for the price.
